The Lakers got some good news over the weekend as Luka Doncic agreed to a 3-year $165 million dollar extension with the team as soon as it was offered. In doing so, he stays with the team through at least 2027-2028 (Luka holds a player option for 28-29). His comments after the signing and his commitment to the team were what every Laker fan wanted to hear. But with Luka stating he's all in on winning a championship run, the question now becomes, why weren't the Lakers ready to go all in as well?
