On this week's episode of the Positioning to Profit podcast, I have special guest Lauren Fonvielle, an EFT expert who shares how EFT Tapping for entrepreneurs can help.

Being an entrepreneur is no joke. The ups and downs can be wild, and sometimes we just need a way to deal with the stress and overwhelm that comes with it all. That's where Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) comes in. And, let me tell you, it's a game-changer. EFT, also known as "tapping", is a holistic healing modality that combines the principles of ancient Chinese acupuncture with modern psychology. And it's not just for yogis and spiritual seekers. It's for anyone who wants to manage their emotions and stay on top of their game. With EFT, you tap on specific energy meridian points on your body while focusing on a specific issue or problem. This helps release any negative emotions or energy blockages that may be contributing to your stress and overwhelm. It's like a mental reset button!
Here are some ways that EFT can help entrepreneurs:
First, it can help us manage our anxiety and fear around taking risks and making big decisions. Because let's be real, those two things can be major stressors in our lives. Second, it can help us stay focused and motivated, even when faced with setbacks and challenges which is pretty much a daily occurrence in the life of an entrepreneur. Lastly, it can help us cultivate a sense of self-compassion and inner peace. And who doesn't need a little more of that in their lives?
EFT Tapping for Entrepreneurs is an easy process:
First, identify the issue or problem you want to work on. It could be anything from a specific work-related stressor to a general feeling of overwhelm. Then, rate the intensity of your feelings on a scale of 0-10. Next, create an "affirmation statement" that acknowledges the issue but affirms your ability to overcome it. For example, "Even though I feel overwhelmed by my workload, I deeply and completely accept myself and my abilities." Then, tap on the energy meridian points while repeating your affirmation statement. Start at the karate chop point (the fleshy part of your hand below your pinky finger) and tap firmly but gently on each point as you move through the sequence: eyebrow, side of eye, under eye, under nose, chin, collarbone, underarm, and top of head. After a few rounds of tapping, take a deep breath and rate the intensity of your feelings again. Repeat the tapping sequence as needed until your intensity level drops to a 2 or below.
EFT tapping for entrepreneurs is an easy yet powerful method that can help you manage your emotions and reduce stress and overwhelm in your business and personal life.
