This week on Pour The Wine, It’s Rom-Com Time, Garry & Amy unwrap Episode 3 of Hallmark’s Holidazed: The Lin Family! Ted and Marcus are newly engaged and ready to celebrate. Minor snag. Ted hasn’t come out to his beloved Nai Nai. When she shows up unexpectedly, a holiday mix-up leads her to believe Marcus is engaged to Ted’s sister, Ella. Cue the fake fiancé hijinks, family chaos, and enough festive confusion to short circuit a Christmas tree. Beneath the comedy lies a heartfelt story about identity, acceptance, and the quiet bravery it takes to share your truth with the people you love most.

Is that it for the list?
That is it for this list?

Garry (09:18):
For the Lynn family.

Amy (09:19):
For the Lynn family.
So now I think we should dropthe synopsis.

Garry (09:23):
Let's drop the synopsis.

Amy (09:24):
Let's drop it, let's do it All right, you want to do it for
season one, episode numberthree the Lynn family.

Garry (09:29):
Sure, Ted and Marcus are celebrating their engagement
with Ted's family this Christmas.
Ted isn't out to Grandma Lynnor Nai Nai, which leads to a
misunderstanding that Marcus isengaged to Ted's sister, Ella.
Dun dun, dun, Dun, dun dun Seewhat happens when you don't tell
the truth, yeah, when you startpretending.

Amy (09:52):
That's right so well we'll probably yeah, no we'll probably
get away with some spoilers.

Garry (09:59):
So if you haven't watched it yet.
Go watch it and then come backto our review.
Yeah, buddy, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So what did you think?

Amy (10:13):
Well, I thought it's going to be fun to break down this
episode because there were therewere so many, there were so
many cute and fun moments andwe'll talk about the serious
moments also and you know, generally it's about, you know,
traditions and people sometimeswho may not be as welcoming as

(10:35):
you think.
And it's, you know, it'sdifficult to believe it still
happens today, right, but itdoes happen, although we don't
know how welcoming she's goingto be.
And it's about whether you areyour true self or do you hide it
.

Garry (10:50):
Yes.

Amy (10:51):
For someone else just to get by.
Yeah, right, so that's kind ofyeah.

Garry (11:18):
Yeah, yeah, authentically represented the lgbtq plus
community.
You think so?
Huh, I thought they did.
I thought that, um, you knowmarcus and ted coming home for
the engagement and then nine Ithey think in nine.
I thought that was really, really cool yeah, yeah but the
fact that now nine, I thinksmarcus and ella are going to get
married, man, it's gonna isgoing to make for a fun episode.

Amy (11:35):
It changes the whole.
Yes, yeah, it changes the whole.
So at the end of the firstepisode we're left with Ted and
Marcus come home, they'reengaged, they're getting married
, they're coming to Ted's familythe Lynn family.
And Ted's family is cool withit His mom, his dad, his sister
they're all excited they want towith it.
His mom, his dad, his sister, they're all excited.

(11:56):
They want to plan it and theyhave let them know that their
grandma, lynn Nigh Nigh, is notgoing to be there, and so
there's some relief.

Garry (12:05):
Right.

Amy (12:06):
Because they're not going to have to explain to her that
Ted is gay, right?
So that's kind of where we leftoff.
I think that was their bit inthe first episode.
So it picks up and Ted andMarcus are kind of trying to
figure out, right like, whatthey're going to do, and they go
in a closet.

Garry (12:25):
Yes, that's the funny thing.

Amy (12:27):
And Marcus are in there and I forget their first
conversation.
But eventually the entirefamily joins them.

Garry (12:33):
Yeah, and that's hilarious.

Amy (12:34):
The mom, the dad, the sister, and they converse about
telling nai nai about that.
Like, are we going to do it,are we not?
Now she has shown up?
Yes, we didn't say that partbecause her flight got canceled
her flight gets canceled, so sheshows up.
She's like surprise.
You know that's right well, Ifind that.
I love that.
Ella says I don't want to.
I don't want to spend the asianversion of the birdcage.

(12:56):
I thought it was really funny.
What a shout out.
Just such a great great movieoh so good With Nathan Lane and
Robin.

Garry (13:05):
Williams, gene Hackman yes, all the great ones.

Amy (13:09):
Diane yes, all the greats.

Garry (13:12):
Well, you know, it's interesting how tradition is and
how scared people are to changethose traditions, because they
just knew that Nai Nai would notunderstand.
And even Steve Lynn, the father, he's scared to you know
actually.

Amy (13:30):
Yes, her son, yeah, her son , grandma Lynn's son.

Garry (13:32):
And that makes for some great comedy right there between
him and his wife.
Well, go ahead, and that makesfor some great comedy right
there between him and his wife.
Obviously, she's wearing thepants and she's like you got to
tell her about the food.

Amy (13:42):
Yep, because they're not cooking the traditional
Christmas Eve dinner.
They're going to cookeverything that Marcus grew up
eating for the holidays, becauseTed's mom has called Marcus's
mom and been like, hey, how canI make him feel at home?
And so she gives her this listof all these foods, and so
that's what they're havinginstead of their traditional.

Garry (14:04):
I don't even remember what they said.
I think it was dumplings andsome others Right right.

Amy (14:07):
So they're not going to have that and they're like
walking on eggshells to tellGrandma Lynn that they're not
having it.

Garry (14:13):
And there's that judged up book by this cover.

Amy (14:16):
Yeah, that theme, it's in every one of these episodes and
then so was it in the firstepisode that we find out she
thinks he's marrying yes, okay, okay, that didn't happen in this
episode.

Garry (14:27):
I'm just trying to catch my.

Amy (14:28):
She finds the binder with all the right now, ella you find
out that ella is like a socialmedia influencer and she, you
know, hates the patriarchy oflove and marriage, and so she's
the one, and so that part of itwas kind of cool too that they
threw that in there, because youknow, I like it when they, you

(14:48):
know social media is soprominent right now, especially
with young adults.
I mean us, we still like, youknow, we really like it, so I
just thought that that was kindof a cute addition to the
storyline right.
It's not just about them hidingit.
Now they've got all these otherthings going on too.

Garry (15:07):
And going off of the social media.
It's like you know you wantpeople to follow you, then you
should follow them, and in thisparticular episode, she doesn't
want to follow the girl thatfollows her.

Amy (15:19):
Right, so it's oh right, come on.

Garry (15:21):
Just, you know, just follow, you know you're talking
about ella yeah, her and her momhad that conversation right,
but it's funny because everytime she there's, she comes up
with a quote or something she'slike oh, I gotta text that I
gotta, I gotta put that, I gottatweet it, put it on tiktok or
whatever.

Amy (15:34):
Yeah.

Garry (15:35):
So yeah, that's a fun addition so then you know.

Amy (15:39):
So then Nai Nai decides that she's going to have a day
like you know.
She might be leaving soon.

Garry (15:44):
Her flight might be taken off like the next day, right On
Christmas Day, and so she feelslike she's got to do everything
to plan the wedding.

Amy (15:51):
Now she is ready Like in one day.

Garry (15:53):
It's like a one-day wedding planner.

Amy (15:54):
Yes, I've never seen, so she goes to.
Where do they go first?
They go to the fortune teller.

Garry (16:00):
No or no the photo shoot.

Amy (16:02):
She plans.
So grandma's like surprise,we're going to have an
engagement shoot.

Garry (16:07):
And they're like what, what, that?

Amy (16:09):
was so fun.
So they go to a park andgrandma Lynn has hired a
photographer, right, right.
And then she says because ofcourse ella and marcus are not
excited, because they're reallynot getting married they're not
getting marrying each other.
Marcus is marrying ted andtheir faces show it.
And you know grandma lynn islike they don't look happy.

(16:32):
They look like two strangers.
No, she says something aboutmops.
Um, they look like two brokenmops.
I thought that was so funny.

Garry (16:40):
She has some good one-liners.

Amy (16:42):
So then Ted has to go and go.
You're not selling it, come on,come on, you've got to sell it,
you've got to sell this thing.

Garry (16:47):
And they're like okay, and he calls her Boo Okay.

Amy (16:51):
Boo, let's make this our wedding, let's make it work,
right.
So then they have some.
They end up getting some goodpictures.

Garry (16:59):
Yes.

Amy (16:59):
Right, fake it till.
You make it, I guess.

Garry (17:08):
And then you find out later that that photo gets put
into the local newspaper, whichis another fun story, but
anyways.
So where do they go off to next?
Is it the?
It's the fortune teller thefortune teller.
Oh, I love that part.

Amy (17:18):
The, the um, it's the fortune teller, the fortune
teller.
Oh, I love that part, thefortune, so grant yeah, so which
was grandma lynn?

Garry (17:21):
oh, go ahead.
I'm sorry, lillian limb.
Um, so they go to the fortuneteller and she's talking about
that.
They're that, they're a greatpair together.
And you know, ted, meanwhile,he in his head, he's thinking
this is all fate.

Amy (17:35):
She's telling Marcus and Ella oh, you're a great pair and
everything.

Garry (17:40):
And so they get through the fortune telling and then
Nine-Nine and the fortune tellerget up and I guess she goes to
pay the bill or whatever.
And Ted was like this is such ahoax and everything.
She didn't even.
She said you two are a perfectfit.
And then Ella goes, goes.
No, I gave her your birthdayright.

Amy (18:00):
So that's what she was going off the truth, right.
I thought that was really cooland you could see ted go, oh
yeah, you know, because hedidn't realize that, because at
first he's like god, you guysare a good pair yeah, he was
heartbroken yeah, his littleheart was yeah, so that was.
That was a sweet part, thoughyes, yes.
When his sister says no, no, no.

Garry (18:18):
I know, I told her, I told her, I told Carrie.

Amy (18:21):
So then they go, so then they leave the fortune teller
and they go to try cakes.
I know, because that's what shedid next.

Garry (18:29):
I mean, she literally is like you need someone like her
playing in every wedding man, Iknow, because carrot cake yeah,
she's like we need sweet andsticky.

Amy (18:44):
I thought that was kind of cute, sweet parts of love and
stickiness to hold it togetherand I was like oh that's
actually kind of kind of wordsof wisdom right there, grandma
Lynn, thrown out there.

Garry (18:53):
Yeah, and then she talks about the flowers and and I
think it was Marcus was like ohshe goes yeah, I give my friends
flowers all the time, andmarcus like oh that's so good.
And then nai nai goes yeah attheir funeral at their funeral
and I just laughed.

Amy (19:10):
I was like she's so good, she is so good in that role.
And marcus is like okay, youknow, all right.
And then she, she's decidedwhat they're gonna wear already,
what ted is gonna wear, oh mygosh, and he comes out in this
like green sequined leprechaunyes tuxedo.
So yeah, so then they're tryingon they're trying on the

(19:31):
dresses and then she's like andnow we need to try on the
dresses and l is like no,absolutely no, because she does
not like marriage right or whatit stands for, and then that's
when she tries on the dress.
And it's a beautiful red dress, and she does look so good, and
you can see Ella kind ofsoftening in that moment, like,

(19:52):
oh, this isn't so bad.

Garry (19:54):
This isn't so bad.

Amy (19:55):
Like it might be all right.
Doesn't she say something likedon't you want me to wear like a
different dress?
Is that where I think it was?

Garry (20:03):
like a Grandma Lynn like a different dress.

Amy (20:04):
Is that where?
I think it was like a grandmaLynn says you know your mom,
your mom bought her own dress.
They wanted to start their owntradition, type of.

Garry (20:11):
Thing.

Amy (20:12):
Trend, something like that.
Yeah, yeah, and that's when umthe uh social media walks in pay
yes, walks in Peyton, yeah, she's like yes, walks in Peyton,
yeah, yeah yeah, she's likewhat in the world?

Garry (20:23):
are you doing here?

Amy (20:25):
She's like hey, Ella, you're trying on a wedding dress
.

Garry (20:28):
Yes, Because you know again she's bucking the system,
Right, right.

Amy (20:33):
So did you say it's an old high school friend or something?
It's like a childhood friend.

Garry (20:38):
Yeah, correct yeah, and this is the one she won't on
social media.

Amy (20:41):
Well, that's where we find it out.
She's like I followed you andshe's like oh, Doesn't she?
Say you didn't follow me back.

Garry (20:47):
Yeah, you know Duh.

Amy (20:49):
Duh.

Garry (20:50):
Yeah, she gets a selfie out of it and that kind of
scares Ella.
Because, because she's got thispersona to keep you know.

Amy (20:57):
Right, she doesn't want Peyton to post it.
Yeah, so Right, and then, andthen.

Garry (21:03):
Is that when they go to the dance hall or the reception
area?

Amy (21:09):
I think it was after that actually Okay, Because don't
they go home?
And then Grandma Lynn givesMarcus the family ring.
Oh, that's right I think that, yeah, that happens first.
Yes, you're right.
And then there's this scenewhere they're all in the living
room.
So she gives Marcus the familyring to give to Ella and tells

(21:31):
because she's like I have a boneto pick.
She says something like GrandmaLynn sits with Marcus and is
like I'm upset with you, orsomething to that effect?

Garry (21:40):
Oh, yes, yes, yes, and it's because Ella doesn't have a
ring yet.
Yes, that's right, because Elladoesn't have a ring yet.
Doesn't have a ring yet, right?
Yes, that's right.

Amy (21:46):
That's right, and he's like what?
And then that's when she giveshim the family ring, which was
kind of sweet.

Garry (21:51):
Yes so she's you know, keeping it, yeah, I mean she's
up for it.
Yeah, and that was a.

Amy (22:01):
The truth.
And there's this really greatscene where they're all in the
living room they're decoratingthe tree.
So the mom and the dad and Ella, right, they're in the tree and
Grandma Lynn is sitting on thecouch and so Ted sits down and
he's like you know, I reallywant to talk to you.
And Grandma Lynn is like I knowwhat you want to tell me.

(22:21):
And she says you know, I'mgetting older, and they're all
like no no, you're not gettingolder, it's just so funny.
They're like trying to kiss herbehind.
And you know she knows it,because they're all like no,
don't.
You don't say you look great.
Yes, you know, that was kind ofa funny moment.
And then she says you know that.
That's when she announces thatTed's going to be the CEO.

Garry (22:42):
Yeah, which I thought that was so cool.
Yeah, and then he's like oh, sohe can't tell she goes, because
I don't want anybody to give mea heart attack.

Amy (22:51):
Right, right, right yeah.

Garry (22:57):
Before he tried to come out and say he was gay.

Amy (22:59):
So then there's like a switch, because the whole time
Marcus kind of you know he, he'swanted, he's wanted to tell her
.
Right, he thinks the rightthing to do is to tell her.
And then throughout this dayhe's gotten to know her and love
her a little bit.
He doesn't want to beresponsible, right?
So then Ted, even after hefinds out he still is going to
tell her, he's like no, that'sgreat, but I have something else

(23:20):
to tell you.
And Marcus stops Ted fromtelling him or telling her.

Garry (23:25):
I'm sorry.

Amy (23:27):
So it's sort of like a flip right, because first it's Ted
and his family and now it'sMarcus.
Like no, no, we can just put upthe lie for another day.

Garry (23:35):
And they have that discussion in the closet and
then they go back in the closet.
And.

Amy (23:39):
I think I think Marcus says something like we're literally
in the closet, like doeseverybody get this?
Like we're in the closet, and Ithought that was funny too.
I just enjoyed all the quipslike that.

Garry (23:51):
And yeah, all right, and she's like, okay, I'll do it and
then Marcus gets down on oneknee and he goes and he tells
Ella um, if she will be his fakewife and real sister.

Amy (24:14):
My fake life and she's like , yes, I'm going to enjoy
wearing this ring while I can, because soon as she finds out,
she's going to take it from me,right, right, so then, from me,
right, right, so then.
Then you have, like you saidearlier uh, was it steve?
And what's the mom's name?
uh lois lois yeah so lois is inthe kitchen cooking and steve's
trying to creep down because hedoesn't want, he doesn't want

(24:37):
anyone to see him.
I think that's what you weretalking about earlier, where
she's like it's now or never.
Yes, you need to tell your momand he said never.

Garry (24:44):
He said never because he's so afraid like father like
son right, they're just afraid.

Amy (24:51):
I mean I know they've made him kind of a coward with his
mom.
But it's like you know, whenyour parents get older and
they're set in their ways andyou're like I mean, maybe you
could tell her yeah maybe youcould tell her about the food.
Like that's like taking my lifeinto my own hands you know, I
know right, that was funny.
So he's so he.
Steve goes in to talk to hismom, which is Grandma Lynn Nigh

(25:16):
Nigh right.
And he's afraid to tell herabout Ted, so he tells her about
the Christmas Eve meal.

Garry (25:21):
Yes.

Amy (25:22):
And she surprises him.

Garry (25:24):
Yeah, she's like I got a wedding to plan, you go, do your
thing and go on.

Amy (25:28):
Well, it doesn't, or is it then when she says sometimes
different is good?

Garry (25:32):
or is that at the table?

Amy (25:33):
Yeah, I'm trying to yeah.

Garry (25:35):
Yeah, that was a good part.

Amy (25:37):
Yeah.

Garry (25:39):
So, anyways, then this is when they go.

Amy (25:42):
This is when they go to the wedding venue.

Garry (25:43):
Yes, then this is when they go to the wedding venue.
Yes, which was another really, really good scene.
So she wants to see their dance, grandma.
Grandma wants to see theirdance.

Amy (25:59):
So Marcus and Ella go out onto the dance floor.
I guess it's the tango.
Is it the waltz, the waltz?
Poor Ella, she just cannotdance.
She has two left feet.
It's the tango, is it the waltz, the?

Garry (26:04):
waltz.
Yeah, poor Ella, she justcannot dance.

Amy (26:06):
She has two left feet.
It's fine, yeah.

Garry (26:09):
And the wedding planner or the venue planner, she's like
, oh, that's different.
Or she says something.

Amy (26:16):
Yeah, she makes a comment like that's a way to dance, you
know, yeah, that's one way.
You're right, you're Right,right, right.

Garry (26:21):
And then, finally, nai Nai tells Ted to get out there
and show Marcus how it's done.
Yep, so Marcus grabs, or Tedgrabs Marcus, and they start to
do the waltz, and they do itreally well.

Amy (26:33):
They do it really well.
They're looking at each otherin a certain way, and you can
see.
Grandma is kind of like he's afast learner, yeah.

Garry (26:43):
And you can see, and even though the venue manager was
saying something to that effectlike, oh, okay.

Amy (26:49):
Okay.

Garry (26:49):
Okay, and you can see Ella again.
She's starting to remove that, that hardness from her and
starting to enjoy the love thatthose two have yes, yes, and
realizing that, it might not beso bad Right.

Amy (27:02):
Right, plan something other .

Garry (27:03):
And realizing that it might not be so bad.

Amy (27:04):
right Right, right To plan something Right, and then they
go to the carnival.

Garry (27:09):
Oh, my goodness.

Amy (27:10):
And grandma's like look.

Garry (27:12):
Yes.

Amy (27:13):
Wasn't it her that shows them that they took the
engagement pictures so that thepicture could end up in the
local paper.

Garry (27:22):
So all her friends could see it.

Amy (27:24):
So, of course, after they have shocked faces, they have to
run around, and I think it'ssuch a cute scene because
they're trying to buy all thepapers.
They're snatching them frompeople, they're stealing them
from people's back pockets, sothe papers aren't out there and
I'm like are they really goingto get every?
Is it that small of a town thatyou could get every single
paper?

Garry (27:43):
And those are the type of scenes I like, because they
play the music and they're allrunning around trying to grab
the papers.

Amy (27:50):
And I just love scenes like that, and you know, when we
were watching it, though, I wastrying to find the other
characters.

Garry (27:53):
Yes.

Amy (27:54):
But I didn't.
Yes, and I'm looking, but Iwant to go back and rewatch you
know the end of the last episode, then this one, and just to see
yeah.

Garry (28:05):
So that's a good idea.

Amy (28:06):
So then they've grabbed every paper.

Garry (28:08):
That they could.

Amy (28:09):
That they could.
Then they're walking home andit starts to rain.
It's a storm.
Hence we're at the same spot,Right Almost at the end of the
last episode, right.

Garry (28:20):
Yep.

Amy (28:20):
The Hill family where there's a storm.
There, the Hill family wherethere's a storm.
There's a storm coming and itrains on them, yes, and then
there's this great scene betweenElla and her mom in the kitchen
.
Yes, that was so sweet, it'sjust so cute, because Ella's
like you know I can help you,Can I help you?
And her mom's like yes.
You know she's so excitedbecause you don't get those
moments that often and it seemslike Ella's been.

(28:51):
I mean, she loves her mom butshe's just not been as close or,
you know, because she thepatriarchal woman in the kitchen
.
She wouldn't do that normally.
And then when she asked to help, and then Ella that's when Ella
talks to her about the socialmedia.

Garry (28:56):
Yeah, and says you have to follow her back.

Amy (28:58):
The mom does yeah.

Garry (29:00):
Yeah, because she wants her to delete that particular
picture, that selfie with her atthe wedding dress, right?

Amy (29:06):
She doesn't ever want it to get out.
She doesn't, or Ella doesn'tever want it to get out, and her
mom and I thought it was sweetbecause Lois, you know tells her
that she's proud of her Right.
And she's like really, andshe's like yeah, look at what
you're accomplishing.
Yeah, like I love your socialmedia stuff.
Like I don't agree with itnecessarily, but I just, you

(29:27):
know, I love that you're doingthat.
So so that was that was kind ofcool, yeah.
And then she, and then, and thenElla finally admits that you
know, maybe being in love andgetting married wouldn't be so
bad.
She might want it someday.
And that makes her mom, youknow, light up.
Yeah, not that you have to getmarried, but just the love part.
And you know, right, yeah.

Garry (29:45):
So then they have the dinner and they're all sitting
around having the dinner right.

Amy (29:50):
Right.

Garry (29:50):
And they're talking, and they were talking about the
difference in the food and theywere asking Nai Nai if it was
okay.
And Nai Nai was like yes, Ialways thought that dumplings
were the only thing you couldcook, so she was jonesing on
Lois.
Yes, yes, I always thought thatdumplings were the only thing
you could cook, so she wasjonesing on Lois.

Amy (30:08):
Yes, yes, but it's so good.
But it shows that you know, without communication you don't
really know, like you'resometimes afraid to communicate
something and you know, a lot oftimes it ends up being funny.

Garry (30:19):
Yeah, it is.

Amy (30:19):
I mean not always.
Now the conversation aboutbeing gay is different, but I
mean something about food.
Like you know, steve's beenscared the whole time to tell
her about the food and hereshe's like no, I'm fine with
trying something new.
Yes, and you don't give peoplea chance.
You can't be upset with them orbe scared of them if they
haven't given you a reason toRight Not that she hasn't, she
probably has her life.

Garry (30:40):
But you know it, it seems like they're all scared of her.
Yeah, so and then.
So they're all sitting therehaving a conversation, and then
what happens?
The lights go out.
The lights go out and she sayssomething, did you not pay the
bill?

Amy (30:55):
She said yeah, did you not, Steve?
Did you not pay the power bill?

Garry (31:01):
It's crazy.

Amy (31:02):
So that's when you know we're getting towards the end
and now the lights have gone out, just like they did in the Hill
family.
Right it's with.

Garry (31:13):
Josh and Sarah.

Amy (31:13):
They're on the bed and the lights go out.
Right, so now we're at thelights out part and Ted goes to
get lights from the garage.

Garry (31:19):
From the shed, from the shed, yeah, some lanterns, yeah.

Amy (31:22):
And then Marcus goes outside to meet him.

Garry (31:24):
Yep, and From the shed, yeah, some lanterns, yeah, and
then Marcus goes outside to meethim.

Amy (31:27):
Yep and they what happens.

Garry (31:28):
Well, marcus is like let's go in and Ted's like no, I
don't want to, and because it'sraining and it's a really-.

Amy (31:35):
It's a Hallmark scene, right.

Garry (31:37):
And then they kiss, they kiss, and then who sees them?
Nai.

Amy (31:43):
Nai, grandma Lin sees them Nine-Nine.

Garry (31:44):
Grandma Lynn sees them, her jaw drops Her jaw drops.

Amy (31:46):
Now I will say, at that moment I thought I wasn't sure
if she was putting them on Meeither.
I was thinking the same thing Iwas like is she really upset or
does she know?
And she's just making them goalong with it Like which is it,
and I still don't really knowbecause then it ends right,
isn't that?
And that's when it ends right, and that's when it ends.

(32:07):
So I don't really know, likedoes she?
Maybe she likes the fortuneteller, like I?

Garry (32:12):
don't know.
You know that's the other thingI was thinking.
I was like, are they hinting?

Amy (32:15):
because they go off and I'm like I don't know, because the
fortune teller's like it's timeto pay up.
Yeah, yeah, so it's gonna beinteresting to see what happens
in the very I guess last episode.
Yes, right.

Garry (32:26):
Yeah.

Amy (32:26):
So I mean, what did so?
What was your tinsel toppedmoment in this episode?

Garry (32:35):
I would say the dancing.

Amy (32:37):
I just yeah, that was so.

Garry (32:39):
That was really cool when Ted and Marcus got together and
they did the waltz.
I just thought it was reallyyeah.
Yeah, I mean, I just thought itwas really neat.

Amy (32:46):
Yeah, I mean I enjoyed the struggle that they had, that Ted
had at one point and Marcus hadabout telling her.
They want to tell her, but theydon't want to hurt her.
They're afraid of killing herwith their heart and everything
and they so badly want to tellher.
But you're also scared becauseyou want that love and you don't
want the rejection, and it'sgot to be hard for people.

Garry (33:05):
Definitely.

Amy (33:06):
Who have someone in their family like that, and a lot of
people do.

Garry (33:10):
Yeah.

Amy (33:10):
You know who won't accept them and you know which is hard
for me to fathom, but I knowthere are people like that out
there and you love, who you loveyeah.
Yeah, love is love.
Right, love is love.
So my tinsel top moment, though, would be I really like the
Ella Lois scene in the kitchen.
Yes, when they kind of cometogether and you know, and Ella
comes around a little bit andthe mom, because it's good, like

(33:32):
us, like you want the kids tobe around, you want them to
enjoy you.
When they actually ask yousomething, or you know, you're
like yes, you don't have toforce them to do it.

Garry (33:40):
Yeah, so and you get those side eyes.

Amy (33:42):
Alright.
So out of five ornaments, howmany are you hanging on the tree
tonight?
I'm doing five.
I'm doing five also.
I just am loving this series.

Garry (33:50):
I am and this particular family, just hmm.

Amy (33:54):
Yes, the way it all came together.

Garry (33:56):
Yes.

Amy (33:57):
I agree, I agree.

Garry (33:58):
So you're giving it a five too Correct, alright.
