Which, which is not Hallmark-y.
Okay, he was in 52 episodes ofthe TV series Motive and the

Garry (03:52):
It did sound like it.

Amy (03:53):
I don't know what I'm doing .
John Tucker Must Die, and thatmovie starred Jesse Metcalf, who
was also in Just the Big Shores.

Garry (04:01):
Pretty cool, pretty cool.

Amy (04:02):
Pretty cool.
We love Jesse Metcalf.

Garry (04:04):
Yes, in just the big shores.
Pretty cool, pretty cool,pretty cool.
We love Jesse.

Amy (04:07):
Metcalf yes, we do, especially in Desperate
Housewives.
Hmm, desperate, that was agreat show.

Garry (04:09):
Didn't Desperate, that was.
That was a really good show.

Amy (04:11):
That was a good show Another one.

Garry (04:12):
you got me hooked on, yep .

Garry (05:10):
Tara if you're in Dublin, tara if you're everywhere else.

It is true.
No, look it up, I'm going to.
All three TV episodes werewritten by Teresa Kael.

Amy (05:23):
There you go, woo-hoo, very good, very good, very good.
Shall we get into the synopsis.

Garry (05:28):
Yes.

Amy (05:29):
Time to drop the synopsis.

Garry (05:31):
Drop it.

Amy (05:31):
Drop it.
Detectives Cora and Liam closein on solving their murder case
and rebel against the angelschoosing to take fate into their
own hands.
Man Dun dun dun.

Garry (05:42):
That's some fate right there.
That is some fate With our ownhands.

Amy (05:44):
Man Dun dun dun.

Garry (05:42):
That's some fate right there.
That is some fate, and as usual, we give away spoilers.

Amy (05:57):
Right, and if you haven't watched any of the series,

I know a lot of people don't,but we have to because we got to
talk about it.

Garry (06:13):
We want to oh, are you ready to dive into it?

Amy (06:16):
I.
I think we can the last episodethe last episode of providence
Falls.

Garry (06:21):
So what did?

Amy (06:22):
you think I have some things to say about this episode
Like the same, here you go.
This episode really was such afantastic conclusion to this
series.
It sort of it does wrapeverything up in a way you know
it's I mean it's Hallmark, soit's kind of tidied up.

Garry (06:43):
Right.

Amy (06:44):
But along the way it's not tidy.
You know I mean there's, youknow.
You have the back and forthstill between Liam and Cora.
You have the mystery thatthey're trying to solve, right
the break ins.
They can't figure out who'sdoing it.
You have Suzette who's workingwith Bale, but does she really
want to work with him?
I mean, they packed a lot.

Garry (07:05):
Right.

Amy (07:07):
In this episode.
And then you've got, you know,Cora's dad, his dad's friend.

Garry (07:12):
Leo.

Amy (07:13):
Who aren't involved, but sort of you know they have
information that is helpful.
Yeah, For the case.
And Finn and Suzette, what elseam I forgetting?

Garry (07:25):
Boyd.

Amy (07:26):
And Boyd you have involved.
I mean you have all thesedifferent and then you find out
whether or not Meredith isinvolved, and then you have the
angels and then we have thesurprise visit from Gabriel.
I mean there was so much in itand I loved the way they put it
all together in this lastepisode.
I thought it was great.

(07:46):
I thought it was sort of thepinnacle of the series, which is
really good.
I would not advise.
This is one series that youcan't just jump into.
I don't think.

Garry (07:55):
Nope.

Amy (07:56):
I mean you could and maybe get it-ish, but no, You've
really got to watch it insequential order.
You've got to watch Chance of aLifetime, An Impossible Promise
, and then Thief of Fate, and itall comes together the way it
was meant to be.
So I really loved it as aseries, you know as a whole.

(08:17):
Excuse me, but I just I lovedit.
What about you?

Garry (08:24):
I agree with you 100%.
I felt like the storytelling oneach character from episode one
to episode three came togetherin the end, we found out what
happened in the past 1840s, 1844.
What was happening in thepresent Right and then what

(08:44):
happened in the end which wasbrilliant and the angels, and
the angels.

Amy (08:48):
And then you had the angels , who were actually more on
Earth.
This time right, we had lesscelestial scenes.

Garry (08:55):
Less of the past and less of that too.

Amy (08:57):
Yeah.

Garry (08:58):
Although the occasional pop-up here and there by Simeon.
But yeah, overall.

Amy (09:03):
But that's what I meant.
Well, you're saying less ofthem overall.

Garry (09:06):
Right.

Amy (09:07):
So yeah, yeah, yeah.

Garry (09:08):
Well, we had a lot of Aegon still Aegon Right, because
he was a great character Right.

Amy (09:11):
Well, I like Samil too.
I do too.
She was really good.

Garry (09:15):
But yeah.

Amy (09:17):
We'll get into it.
But Aegon, right, right, right,he's going to be the one-on-one
down with Liam yeah.

Garry (09:24):
Okay, so now that we know we both love the movie.

Amy (09:27):
Okay, spoiler alert there, right so let's jump into the
favorite scenes.
All right, you want to go first.
One of yours, yes.

Garry (09:35):
Yes, when Liam and Suzette clone Magnus' father.

Amy (09:42):
Oh yes, I didn't.

Garry (09:44):
Oh, yes, that was such a brilliant scene.
I mean to pull that off andthen to have Finn show up.

Amy (09:51):
And kind of almost spoil it .

Garry (09:53):
As they're just, you know , almost over with the con or
whatever.
It was so, so good.

Amy (09:59):
So they have.
What's funny about that, too,is that Liam asked Dominic right
.

Garry (10:03):
Yes, yes.

Amy (10:05):
Dominic, how do?
You clone a phone and Tony'slike what?
Then he shows him right.

Garry (10:12):
He says his stepfather clones phones all the time and
he'll show him how to do it.
And Liam's like no, no, no, youcan't do that, but write it
down for me.
Write it down.

Amy (10:21):
It is, it's so I mean it just all worked together and
then they go.
So then he, he um coordinateswith suzette yes, to do this,
because they want to clonemagnus's phone so they can
figure out who's calling them?
Right who his partner might be.
Yeah, who's partner?
So that was one of my favoriteright, and then they go to the
bar, yeah, and she kind of hitson magnus.

(10:42):
Suzette hits on magnus and it'slike, oh, I need your phone
because my phone is dead.
I don't give my phone to nobody.

Garry (10:49):
Nope, except for you.

Amy (10:53):
Our kids.
Even when our kids get ourphone, we're like I don't think
I like that.

Garry (10:57):
I mean, it's my phone you know, Well, I find it funny the
kids, sometimes they go.
You both know each other'spasswords.

Amy (11:04):
It's like why wouldn't we I fully, 100% trust her?
Yeah, I'm not hiding anything?

Garry (11:10):
I know she's not hiding anything, or so you think no no,
but anyway I'm not, yeah, soanyway.
So Suzette Tissue for thatnosebleed.

Amy (11:18):
Oh my gosh, You're here all night.
He's here all night.
He's here all night people.
So any note.
So Suzette goes to the bar, shetalks to Magnus, she gets his
phone.
And then she kind of she handedoff to Liam, she kind of turns.

Garry (11:31):
Well, that's when Finn walks up.
That's when Finn walks up,that's right.
So Magnus turns to Finn.

Amy (11:36):
And she has the opportunity to turn Suzette grabs the phone
, pushes it over to Liam, whothen starts the cloning.
That was a good scene.
I agree with that.
That was pretty good.

Garry (11:47):
So what was one of your favorite scenes?

Amy (11:49):
One of mine was, of course, with Cora making dinner, and
she has Liam over.

Garry (11:55):
That's one of them.

Amy (11:58):
And I like how Cora tells Suzette that the only time Liam
is his true self is when he'scaught up in the moment.
And Suzette is like then catchhim up in the moment, yeah, no,
so it was really an idea, yeahit was really cute.
So then she makes this dinnerand then you know he sits down.
I love when he went to pour thewine and she moved her glass
that was such a cute yeah, funromantic scene in that moment I

(12:21):
loved, and she did it like threetimes.
It wasn't just like once whenshe moved it, and the look on
her face and look, it was sogood, it was so good.
I don't know.
I just love that moment andthen, and then she kind of she
wants to know what's going onwith him and you know, and he's
like you know, I loved a womanand selfishly, I loved her

(12:41):
selfishly and she ended up dyingand you know it's just real.
And then when he pulls herchair into him, that's another
good moment.
Oh my gosh, I mean Hallmark'sbringing the chemistry fire
right there.

Garry (12:55):
I'm telling you, I mean.

Amy (12:56):
I'm just saying, but then they don't kiss there and then
he's like I got to go becausehe's still torn and you can see
it in him.
That's what I love about thisseries, too, is he's trying to
do the right thing but he's sodrawn to her and he keeps
getting drawn to her.
But he knows she should be withfinn because that's her true

(13:17):
fate or destiny according to theangels.
Right, right, so that was so.

Garry (13:22):
That's one of my favorite scenes well, I'll tell you what
I was getting getting some Ladyand the Tramp vibes on that
scene.

Amy (13:27):
I know.

Garry (13:28):
If they would have had the spaghetti, I would have been
like drop the mic.

Amy (13:32):
I think it was a little more serious than the Lady and
the Tramp, come on, that was agood scene.
There's some chemistry between.

Garry (13:38):
Lady and Tramp.
Yes, but I agree because I hadthat as one of my scenes too.

Amy (13:42):
Yeah.
So another one of mine would bewhen Cora gets the email about
the necklace.
Yes, she's investigating it andshe sees that the necklace you
know there's.
You know, and, to be fair, wepaused, you know, we saw it and
you could see that it was theMcLeod family, like a McLeod
family heirloom or whatever.
And we paused it and we wentback and it said you know, the

(14:05):
necklace resurfaced in London2022 following a significant
period during which it had beenlost post or during which it had
been lost in ireland in the1840s right so I just I thought
that that was a cool littlenugget nugget, yeah, yeah in
there.
And then she realizes thatthat's the necklace that she's

(14:26):
dreaming about and she knowsthat neck, I mean, it's just the
way it all comes together yeah, the one that was in the
evidence box, so I like when shegot that email yeah, yeah, good
, what about you?

Garry (14:36):
Any other?

Amy (14:37):
Yeah.

Garry (14:38):
Yes.

Amy (14:39):
I loved it when yes, I know , I have several.

Garry (14:42):
When Cora and Suzette are talking and then Cora tells
Suzette she doesn't know why shedeserves a ride-or-die best
friend like her.
Like Suzette, yes, right, yeah, and then Suzette and this is
kind of a hint that you thinkSuzette is from the past.
But she says you must have donesomething good in a past life

(15:05):
and I thought that was such agood piece, so Suzette is trying
to give her.
Well, I don't know if she'strying to give Cora.
Or the audience, but I think shewas definitely trying to let
the audience know that she isfrom the past.

Amy (15:15):
From the past right.

Garry (15:16):
Because she said oh, you just must have been.
You know someone who didsomething good in the past which
Cora always did.

Amy (15:22):
Well, and that's true because you know you find out
later that Suzette did somethingbad in the past.

Garry (15:29):
Right.

Amy (15:32):
So she knows, Cora is bound for good yeah yeah, that's
pretty cool, it was I loved it.
Yeah, yeah.

Garry (15:37):
And I also love the fact that Bale was in this more.

Amy (15:41):
Yeah.

Garry (15:42):
Yeah, because what is it?

Amy (15:45):
Nile Matter.
We like him a lot.

Garry (15:46):
He played this to a T.

Amy (15:48):
He's really good and he's not really in it a lot, no, but
when he is.
Yes, really good, I reallyliked him.
Yes, yeah.

Garry (15:58):
I agree.

Amy (15:59):
I was going to say something about that too.
He's really good as like sortof like a bad guy, but a fun bad
you know what.
I mean Like you don't hate himnecessarily, but you know he's
the other side, you know.
So I like that.
What about you?
You got some more.
When we're in 1844 and we seeLiam in jail and Finn comes to

(16:24):
see him, you know, and Finn?
is like you know like, what wereyou thinking?
You know taking her and youknow basically what you're going
to die, and you know, andLiam's kind of like of like,
well, I guess I'll get to seeher soon then.
Thanks, you know.
And finn asks why, why wouldsomeone like cora choose liam?

(16:45):
And he said I don't know, butdon't you worry, I'll spend the
rest of my short life gratefulthat she did.

Garry (16:50):
And I was like I just kept thinking of jack rose, jack
rose.

Amy (16:58):
it's like two hours of titanic about that.
But this is Jack Rose, jackRose, it's like two hours of
Titanic about that, but this isyou know that's what I thought
of.
Like I'll spend the rest of myshort life being grateful that
she did and I was like, oh,that's such a good line.
Oh gosh, it was.
They had so many in thisepisode yeah, yeah, so what?

Garry (17:13):
about you?
What else we got so many inthis episode?

Amy (17:15):
Yeah, yeah.
So what about you?
What else we got?

Garry (17:19):
When Liam in the 1840s, he took Cora out to the field to
look at the stars and he hadmentioned a story that his mom
used to tell him when he waslittle Richard the Rabbit.
And in the present time theywere talking about they were at
the murder board.

(17:39):
Yeah, that's right, and theywere talking about.
I think they were talking aboutMeredith, maybe, I'm not sure
and he mentions the story againand Cora goes what did you say?
And then that's when she startsto realize?
Well, because she had a dreamabout it.

Amy (17:55):
Right and she starts to realize Well, because she had a
dream about it right.
So when we saw him, when we sawthem talking, or rather, like
you just mentioned, they werelaying watching the stars in
1844.

Garry (18:05):
Right.

Amy (18:05):
Wasn't that a dream of hers ?

Garry (18:07):
Yes, it was.

Amy (18:08):
And then she woke up from that.
So that's what made her realize, when he says it in present day
that like holy crap, what wouldyou think about that if that
started happening to you whereyou were having dreams, and then
it was like deja vu kind of.

Garry (18:21):
Yeah, I would think I lived another life, you would.

Amy (18:24):
Automatically.

Garry (18:25):
I would think so.
I don't think I would jump tothat.
If you're having vivid dreamslike that, yeah, I would think
so.
I have very vivid dreams, especially if the person you
dream about is standing right infront of you and you're like
Well, you know I have verystrong dreams.
You do Like I have verypowerful dreams about people who
have.
I know because you kick me.

Amy (18:41):
Yeah, yes, I have done that , but I do have very powerful
dreams about people who havepassed away.

Garry (18:49):
Yeah.

Amy (18:50):
That come.
I have those quite frequentlyactually.

Garry (18:53):
Yes, you do.

Amy (18:53):
So, but I don't know that I , if you know, I haven't dreamt
about living in 1844, but, youknow, maybe if I did, I don't
know that I would jump to it wasa past life, unless it, I guess
, continuously mirrored what wasgoing on now.
But I don't know.

Garry (19:09):
Yeah, I agree with you.
Yeah, so what about you anymore?

Amy (19:13):
I have a few.
Cora goes, you know, okay.
So this would be the moment, right?
Do we want to talk about thator you want to wait?
Let's do it.
The one that, okay.
So Cora goes to Liam with anecklace info and she's like
begging him to tell her thetruth.
Every one of them we've had tosing.

(19:33):
No, I know, you know, Iremember the weight of the
necklace, you know the fall inthe woods.
And then she's like whathappened to the man that said
he'd follow me wherever I went?
And in that moment he knowsthat she knows in that moment
and you and I both at the sametime.
And then that's when he leans inand kisses her Because he knows

(19:58):
, and that moment was so good.

Garry (20:00):
See, to me that was the best scene.
Yes, In the movie.

Amy (20:04):
Yes, it was so powerful and you and I both were like
tearing up.
It was just so power in themoment when we were watching it.
It was so, so good.

Garry (20:15):
Yeah, because she says something like I mean the
passionate chemistry, chemistrybetween.

Amy (20:18):
I can't take.
It is so good yeah, she saidsomething like these are not
dreams, they're memories yeahand that's when he started to
tell her started to tell her yepabout, about why he couldn't
tell her what was going on Right, right, and then that whole
scene kind of led into, isn'tthat, when she's like oh, that

(20:43):
explains why you say certainthings funny.
Right and he's like you used totalk like that.

Garry (20:49):
He automatically gets defensive yeah.

Amy (20:52):
But it was cute.
And then she says they had aquick little banter there.
So it was like that whole scenestarting, you know, with, know
with her, you know, begging himto tell her, and then leading
into that.
I thought that that was reallyreally good.
And you know, and then he hasto tell her finn is your true
soulmate.
You have to end up with him,you know.
So I just that whole scene.
That was probably the bestscene in the series.

(21:12):
Yeah, I think zipper maybenumber two.
Yeah, zipper definitely numberpretty close, they're pretty.
I just that whole scene.
That was probably the bestscene in the series.
I think Zipper maybe number two.
Yeah, zipper, definitely numbertwo, Pretty close, they're
pretty close, they're prettyclose, but because this is the
last movie and she, finally, shenow knows, and he knows that
she knows and she wants to bewith him.
And this is where you know youhave that dilemma Like she's

(21:35):
drawn to him, he's drawn to her.
They can't explain it.
And is that their destiny?
Why are they being forced apart?
You know like.
So yeah, I thought it was reallyreally those angels always I
know, and you and I, like youknow, we we say this, we've said
this in other podcasts is thatwe don't.
We watch it, we try not toreact and talk about it, but in
that moment we're both like wehad to take like a deep breath

(21:59):
and we're like tearing.
I mean it was so powerful inthat moment and for Hallmark to
do that was it was just real.
I mean they've really juststepped up their game.
In my opinion, in a series likethis because it's still so good
and so you know you have yourHallmark touches, but it's got
so much more depth to it.

Garry (22:19):
Right, and you know, in that scene too, he tells her
well.
She asked well, what is my fate?
And he says I think you knowwhat it is.
And she says second chances, yes, and he's like yes, and he
said Finn has to be the one byyour side.
Yeah, and she said, and Corasaid it's you.
And he said well, I can't stealyou away from him.

(22:44):
Yeah, and she said you can'tsteal what wants to be taken.

Amy (22:49):
Right, right.
I thought that was verypowerful.

Garry (22:52):
Is that in that same scene, or is that a little bit
later?
It's in the same scene, okay, okay.

Amy (22:55):
That was a good line too.
Yeah, or is that a little bitlater?
It's in the same scene.

Garry (22:58):
Okay, okay.

Amy (22:55):
That was a good line too.

Garry (22:55):
Yeah, you can't steal something that— that wants to be
taken.
That wants to be taken, Mm.
Okay.

Amy (23:05):
That's true in life it is.
It's true across the board, isn't it?

Garry (23:09):
So do you have any more?

Amy (23:10):
Yes, that was very powerful .
I really liked how they hadAegon leading Liam in the tunnel
when they get towards the endand they are looking for Finn
because Finn has been kidnappedand all that jazz.
So they're looking for Finn andyou know, and at first you're

(23:31):
like, is that like a mirage?

Garry (23:32):
Is that Bale?
I was thinking it was Bale, isit?

Amy (23:34):
the other side trying to trick him.

Garry (23:36):
I know we did Because Aegon had a look on his face
like I did.

Amy (23:39):
I did kind of, but you know , it makes sense when you really
think about it.
Just because we're so used tobeing tricked and you know, in
all these TV movies and showsNot necessarily Hallmark, but
just in general and you're like,oh, I'm on to them, that's
really the other.
But, um, what was I gonna?
Oh, but agon, you know, I lovedhis character arc too during

(24:00):
the story and I'm kind ofgetting into one of my cheers.
But I'm just gonna talk aboutit because I love it so much.
But because he, you know, hestarts out, he's, you know, he's
fit or liam's handler, and youknow, throughout the series he
kind of he's trying to help him,he, he needs to make sure that
liam stays on the straight andnarrow and doesn't try to hook
up with Cora and make sure thatCora gets with Finn.

(24:21):
And at first he's all for thatand then he really sees that
they're meant to be together andthen he's kind of, you know,
towards the end he's trying totalk to Simeon like, hey, these
guys really love each other.
Why can't they be together?

Garry (24:35):
He's changing, he's changing, he's doing good things
.

Amy (24:39):
He's yeah and you know, and samil's kind of like no it this
is what's written and this isthe way it's going to be.
Yeah, and I think that's aprofound statement on people's
lives, like you think it'ssupposed to be a certain way and
it doesn't have to be yeah sothat's kind of the way I took it
, for my cheer too.
So I'm going into my cheers, yeah, but anyway, but I just

(24:59):
love that.
So I love that he guided Liamin that moment to find Finn.
Yep Right and then doesn't oneof them say something like I
never thought I'd be excited tosee you.
Like to the other, finn to Liamor Liam, I can't remember who
said it, but I thought that thatwas funny it was funny so yeah,
you have any more.
I have one more okay and that'sprobably gonna be the same when

(25:21):
liam takes the bullet for finnoh yeah, we're not okay, but
yeah, you like that scene.
Yes, yes, because that's.

Garry (25:29):
That's him agon was talking about.
Yes, that he's changing andthat his love for cora, he's
willing to give up his own lifeto save another person.

Amy (25:40):
Yes.

Garry (25:41):
And he did.
He jumped right in front ofthat, he took a bullet,
literally, yeah, he did.

Amy (25:45):
Figuratively right?
Yeah, he sure did so.
The last one for me would bepart of that scene is when
Gabriel appears.

Garry (25:53):
And.

Amy (25:53):
Brendan Penny is so good and I know he's so brief, you
know he's so briefly in it andyou know we just love him anyway
and he was really good in it,just his facial expressions and
just his soft demeanor and hewas kind of a little bit like
you know, samil, you know alittle bit like a parent, you

(26:16):
know, to a kid who's like youknow, you really, you know, come
on, samil.

Garry (26:21):
Right.

Amy (26:22):
Ease up a little bit.
Well, she came around.
Yeah, and then she does comearound, and I liked that about
her character too, but I lovedthat, you know.
Then Samil finally says letthem have their chance.

Garry (26:33):
Right.

Amy (26:34):
And Gabriel's like excellent choice, Because he
leaves it up to her.

Garry (26:42):
And that's another thing where it's like you hope people
make the right decision forthemselves and Samira was like,
well, how do you know they'regoing to make the right decision
Right?
And he's like I don't.

Amy (26:47):
We don't know.
Everybody has free will, right.

Garry (26:49):
It's all fate destiny, Unless it's fate or destiny.

Amy (26:51):
I don't know how all that interplays.

Garry (26:58):
But yeah, so that would be, that was the last one I had
listed, so Okay, well, I onlyhad one cheer Only one, yeah,
okay, what is it?
And it was just basicallyhaving second chances.

Amy (27:06):
Yeah.

Garry (27:07):
Like they all had a second chance to change what
happened in the past or theirlives, and it's so funny because
at some point we all deserve asecond chance because, you know,
we're all human yeah, punintended, um, but it you know,

(27:28):
destiny is not always what onewants it to be or thinks it
should be okay and that's how itplayed out in the end is the
angels were so focused on itbeing Finn.

Amy (27:41):
On one way, right, right.
That they didn't even see thelove between Cora and Liam Right
, or they did, and they justthey had their own opinion.
That you know.
Liam was bad finn was goodright and there was no gray area
right and even though he wasgrowing in the in 1844, cora was

(28:03):
sort of changing liam anyway, and then in the present day he
finally makes that completeright, you know, switch to
saving her life.
So yeah, I agree.

Garry (28:15):
So what were your cheers?

Amy (28:21):
We've talked about it a lot , just the absolute fire,
passionate chemistry betweenCora and Liam, just really built
up through all three.
They call them episodes, butmovies, what have you?
You can just feel it throughthe screen and I love how you
can see and feel the differencebetween the chemistry between
Cora and Liam and Suzette andFinn, who do end up together in
the end.
And there's chemistry, but it'sdifferent, it's softer, it's

(28:45):
not as impassioned.

Garry (28:47):
It's not as in your.

Amy (28:47):
So I just like that dichotomy really between the two
.

Garry (28:51):
You know, there's really a difference.

Amy (28:53):
So there's chemistry, but in a different way, and I just I
liked how they showed that.
I liked, you know.
And then the scene where Cora'stelling Liam that she remembers
, which we've already talkedabout.
I liked how I talked about thisat the beginning.
This episode brings everythingtogether, but not right away,

(29:14):
you know.
Things start to add up for Liamand for Cora, but Cora doesn't
want to admit it and Cora isremembering and tells Liam and
that frightens Liam.
So, you know, things don't addup for him because he's like how
is she remembering?
She's not supposed to, you know, because that causes a problem
for him, because he knows she'sgoing to remember things that

(29:34):
she shouldn't.
You know that will bring her tohim instead of Finn.
You know, I just liked all ofthat.
I like that we see Suzettestruggle with working with Bale
and then she comes around in theend I'm glad she didn't stay on
the other side, or they didn'tlike banish her, or, you know,
they brought her in even afterthey found out, and then she

(29:57):
said she was changing, shewanted to help because she was
falling for.
Finn, yeah.
Second chances, yeah.
So Cora, with her second chance, heart right, invited her in to
help them.
Yes, yeah, you said yeah andthen you know, the angels were
great.
I loved both Simeon and Aegon.

(30:19):
I thought their characters weregreat.
I really liked how neither Leoor her dad ended up being dirty
cops.
I like that they left that.

Garry (30:30):
Yeah, I didn't think they were.
Yeah, I thought they weretrying to figure out what was
going on.
I thought maybe Leo maybe alittle bit.

Amy (30:35):
But then I was like, please don't let him.
You know, it's like a familyfriend.
So I'm glad they didn't go downthat road.
We've talked about destiny andthen I really liked, you know,
at the very beginning of thefirst episode we had them
running through the woods, Corafalls, Liam goes to her and he's
holding her right, and then atthe end you have Liam getting
shot and she's there with himand she wants to save him and

(30:58):
she's like you know, hebasically like he is my destiny,
I choose him Right, I want him.
So I just really, you know shedoesn't want her destiny without
him.
So I just I loved it andthought it was great, it was
totally awesome.

Garry (31:12):
So did you have any jeers ?
What about you?
No, you didn, you have anyjeers.

Amy (31:15):
What about you?

Garry (31:16):
No, you didn't have any?
No, I couldn't find any.

Amy (31:19):
You couldn't find.
Well, it's not like you have tolook for any, they just see
them.
Oh, you know what?
Can I just say?
One more thing.

Garry (31:27):
Yes.

Amy (31:28):
I just saw.

Garry (31:29):
It's a podcast.

Amy (31:31):
You can say whatever you want, Cora, when they are
looking at the stars and I thinkCora really wants to know her
fate, and he tells her don't bein your head, just be here in
this moment.
It's what you were talkingabout.
What do you think your fate is?
You know it's the secondchances.
And then he says I'd spendevery second of my life touching
you if I could.

(31:52):
I know, oh, this is anothergood line.

Garry (31:54):
I told you they had so many, I just had to say that
because I'm like oh, hallmark.

Amy (31:59):
You know it would have.
I love it, I love it.

Garry (32:01):
I would have had a jeer if they would have if Finn would
have ended up with Cora.
That would have been my jeer.

Amy (32:06):
Yeah, yeah Well okay, so my , I had two.
Je were at Disney and it was.
You know, I'm like it was alittle cheesy, yeah, a little

(32:30):
danger.
Keep out and it had like red onit, like I just, we could have
done better, we could have donebetter and I really love the
song at the end because at donebetter, we could have done
better.
Um, and I really love the songat the end because at the end we
go to a year later and she's umannouncing that she's opening
up two more second chanceschances locations right and
she's married to liam um andthere's a song playing and I

(32:53):
felt like now she's talking, she's giving like a presentation
to people right about these inthere outside and whatnot, and
the song is playing and thewords I didn't like that.
The words of the song werethere while she was speaking.
I felt like that was I don'tknow a little making it hard to
understand what she was saying.

Garry (33:14):
Right.

Amy (33:14):
Making it hard to understand what she was saying
because it was like more bass orsomething in the music.
I like the song a lot.
I just wish they would haveused like just the music part of
the song during that and thenit kind of builds up and then
when she finishes, like I said, love the song.
Great, great music in thisseries, by the way, great music.
But that would be and you knowhow I am about songs, I love the

(33:35):
song.
I just didn't like theplacement of the words of the
song while she was talking.
Okay so but yeah, those arejust minor things, those are
just little.

Garry (33:44):
Yeah, I wanted to mention something that you had pointed
out.

Amy (33:46):
Yeah.

Garry (33:47):
On that one year later is that the main characters were
wearing beige.
Yeah, and Liam was the only onewith a brown shirt on and then
a button-down shirt that wasn'tbuttoned down, with horizontal
brown stripes.

Amy (34:02):
It's kind of like a flannel or something.
Yeah, yeah.

Garry (34:05):
And it just made me wonder.
So I looked it up right to seewhat the meanings were what
beige clothes Right?

Amy (34:12):
What did you look up?

Garry (34:13):
Yeah, and it talked about humility and simplicity
grounded in the earth, possiblyreflecting a strong connection
to creation and the life ofstewardship and simplicity.
And then the brown stripe andthe beige could emphasize a
grounded, independable character, perhaps amidst a path, which

(34:35):
is represented by the stripes, that involves overcoming
challenges or experiencing aseason of testing.

Amy (34:42):
And that fits him.
We'd have to know if thecostume or not, because it was
Liam Cora Suzette.

Garry (34:48):
Finn no, I don't.
Finn had beige on Finn hadbeige on too.

Amy (34:53):
I thought that was somebody that didn't.
It was maybe it wasn't finnyeah, maybe you're right I
thought it yeah, cora liamsuzette a gun and celine say
yeah, I can't remember the othercharacter.
Yeah, but yeah, it was it wascora liam suzette a gun and

(35:17):
celine okay so am I sayingsamuel, samuel, why did?
I say selene but you picked upon that and I just had to look
into it because you know writerslike to throw those little
easter egg type things in thereright and I thought that was
very cool and I and I'd reallybe Just out of curiosity, what
did you Google Like clothes andcolors and meaning.

Garry (35:37):
Yeah, I always Google, like what is the meaning of this
in biblical terms?
Oh, okay, and that's what cameup.

Amy (35:46):
Well, I mean, that sounded pretty close.

Garry (35:49):
It fit his character.

Amy (35:50):
to it too, it sounded really well, all of them, really
yeah, not just the well, thebrown.

Garry (35:54):
Well, he was the only one that had the brown horizontal
stripes, so I was thinking.

Amy (35:59):
But the beige.
Some of that was the beige too, wasn't it?
Yeah, that you read, yeah, sothat's pretty good.
Huh, very cool, very cool.
Look at you.

Garry (36:06):
So, out of five quarks, how many will you be given this
one?

Amy (36:12):
Five all day, every day, all day long.

Garry (36:15):
Five, all day every day, all day long.

Amy (36:16):
Me too, same Watch this series.

Garry (36:18):
Yes.

Amy (36:18):
Highly encourage it.
It's on Hallmark Plus now.
I'm sure Hallmark Channel willbe playing encore versions of it
.
I would have to believe.
Yeah, it's really so, so goodas a series.

like we need to know.
We need to know.

So yeah, I'm here for it.
What about you?
