but we still found ourselvesstruggling with what we thought
were changes that come with ageor bad genes, and we weren't

(01:01):
finding answers the traditionalroute.
So we dug into the research andcreated our secret nutritional
weapon sustainable plant-basedliving.
The truth is, you can eat morewhole plant foods, and it's not
hard.
You just need the way that'srealistic and delicious so you
never feel deprived.

(01:23):
your health struggles andactively live your life, then
you're in the right place.
So grab your favoriteplant-based cup of happy pop in
those earbuds and let's getstarted.
Hey there, sunshine, welcome toPower on Plants.
Recently, jared and I have beenanswering some of your questions
about plant-based eating, andit's been so much fun, and today

(01:44):
isn't going to be any different.
We are diving deep into thisone.
The only difference is I'msurprising Jared because he has
no idea what we're talking abouttoday.
If someone wasn't able to go100% plant-based, what would be
the three best things toincorporate and the three best
things to remove?
I want to read that one moretime If someone wasn't able to

(02:04):
go 100% plant-based, what wouldbe the three best things to
remove?
I want to read that one moretime If someone wasn't able to
go 100% plant-based, what wouldbe the three best things to
incorporate and the three bestthings to remove?
Now I don't know if this iscoming from someone who's
already tried plant-based, sothey feel like they aren't able
because they've tried it in away that's not enjoyable, that
takes a long time, that doesn'ttaste good.
They're thinking, maybe I cando some, but there's no way I

(02:28):
could do that for life.
If that's the case, you're inthe right place if you feel that
way, because we show you how todo this in the way that you can
go 100%, because it is excitingand you're going to love it.
But maybe this person wronglyassumes that you can't live
without meat and be healthy.
You know there's a lot ofdifferent places this could be
coming from.
That also is not true.
But maybe, just maybe in theirfree will, they feel like

(02:52):
they're just not ready yet, andthat's okay, if you're not ready
, you're not ready, but at leastthe one who's asking this is
wanting to eat more plants, andthat's our prayer for all of you
that the place where you justwant to learn how to eat more
plants, and that's our prayerfor all of you, that you're at
the place where you just want tolearn how to eat more plants,
how to make it work with yourreal life, how to make it taste
great.
Be quick, free you up so thatyou can finally start feeling

(03:16):
better.
And what we know is that themore whole plant foods you eat,
the better you are going to feel, the better you're going to do.

Jarrod (03:23):
We're just excited that you're willing to have that
conversation, because so manypeople say nope, can't do it,
can't give up my meat, nope, Ican never eat vegetables.
We actually did have somebodycome to our home recently to do
a repair.
They saw the Power on Plantspodcast logo on the back of our
van and got just a quickconversation about plants and he

(03:44):
said I can't eat vegetables.
I just I can't do it.
So he wasn't even willing to.
So the fact that you're evenwilling to have that discussion
is a great step, because you'reopening yourself up to the
possibility, and that's what welove here Possibility, such a
great place to start.

Anita (03:56):
So what she's basically asking is how do I make this
work for me, which is such agreat question and specifically,
what she wants to know is thethree best things to incorporate
into her life.
What are the three best thingsshe should start eating right
now and the three best thingsshe should remove from her life?
And this is very excitingbecause it's a big truth that
you need to understand.

(04:16):
It's not just about what you'reeating.
It's about what you're nolonger going to be eating that's
been sabotaging your health.
But, as you know from beingaround here any length of time
if you have been, if you haven'tbeen you're going to learn this
real fast.
I am lit by learning how to findyour new favorites.
You have to find your new wholefood, plant-based favorites,

(04:37):
and what I mean by that is theupgraded versions of the foods
that you love Pizza, tacos, lasagnaagna, alfredo sauce.
For me, it would have beenthings like barbecue and chicken
nuggets and all these thingsyou want to know how to eat
because you want to feel like, hey, I'm not missing out and you
won't be, but where you canmerge, getting the things that

(04:59):
are really great for you allthose good phytonutrients and
you love the way you're doing it.
You're golden and that is whatwe're all about.
So this is such a greatquestion, so let's start with
the first point.
Jared, what would you say wouldbe the three best things to
incorporate for those who arestarting whole food, plant-based
eating?

Jarrod (05:18):
There are so many things that go through my mind and
this is such a wide openquestion.
It is wide open and there areso many delicious things.
I'm thinking all thedeliciousness, you could be
getting in all the nutrients.
I'm thinking more healthbenefits, but of course I don't
completely ignore thedeliciousness factor, because
that's obviously very integraland has to be there.
I think the first thing thatcomes to mind for me would be

(05:39):
adding leafy greens, justbecause so many people don't get
enough of them.
They seem to beunderrepresented.

Anita (05:44):
greens just because so many people don't get enough of
them.
They seem to beunderrepresented.
So ask me what number two of mythree are.
And I didn't put mine in anyspecific order.
So great minds think alike, because I have written down a
daily green smoothie and that'sjust the quickest way.
I thought, okay, they wantspecifics here, so eat more
greens.
And now you're thinking how doI do that?
A daily green smoothie?
Now, maybe you've tried a greenchunky and you've been burned.

(06:05):
We totally get it.
Green smoothie does not equalgreen chunky.
Also, maybe you've tried onethat started out with a whole
lot of greens and you think thatwas disgusting.
So you know that you need toeat more greens, right?
We've know that.
Most people have known that youneeded to eat more vegetables
for a long time.
But the reason you haven't doneit is because you don't know
how to make it taste good or youdon't know how to make it fit

(06:26):
into your current schedule andthe way that would work for you.
So you've tried one.
You've been burned, or you'venever tried it because you just
thought it looked gross.

Jarrod (06:33):
Or maybe you think it's hard.

Anita (06:35):
Maybe you think it's hard , or maybe you've seen someone
else drinking a green chunky andit looked disgusting.
You want to get even aninexpensive Nutribullet.
My favorite one's, nutribulletPro 900.
They're not expensive.
They even carry them at Walmartright now.
So get one of those.
You don't have to get theupgraded, the newest, the latest
Nutribullet.
This one will blend everythingand it will blend it to a pulp.

(06:55):
You can make smooth cashewcreams with it and everything.
But you're not going to do thatright now, because these aren't
the first three things you wantto get into your life.
It's not cashew cream.
Green smoothie, because when youthrow your greens, your dark
leafy greens in there, yourfruits, maybe a few other
vegetables, some liquid, learnhow to make the green smoothie.
If you're an accelerator or analumni meaning you're an

(07:18):
accelerator graduate if you'rein those two groups, get in the
green smoothie guide, becausemaybe you're hearing this and
you're thinking you know what Ihaven't been drinking my green
smoothies.
Do it because this is one ofthe quickest ways to get so much
nutrition, because when yougrind it up, it's concentrated.
You're bursting open thenutrients.
Yes, you want to keep it inyour mouth.
Mix it with those digestiveenzymes that are naturally in

(07:39):
your mouth.
Right, don't just chug it allback really fast, but open that
up before you're're in ourprogram.
If you're not, just do what I'msaying, get your Nutribullet
Pro 900.
Or if you have a blender thatblends things extremely smooth,
throw a big handful of greens inthere and if you don't like how
it tastes next time, do alittle less greens.
Start with the less greens andbuild it up over time, because
your body is going to startcraving these things.

(08:01):
I promise you that.
I promise you your taste budsare going to change.
You will be craving totallydifferent things.
It's going to blow your mind, but just start and find the
mixture that you like and thenstart switching it up a little
bit.
So, big handful of greens, maybea few nuts to make it creamy,
or a splash of nut milk.
Just check the ingredientslabel.
You don't want to have allthose ingredients in there that

(08:22):
aren't good for you in your nutmilk, right, you can just throw
nuts, some water in there, youhave nut milk, just a couple.
If you throw a lot, you'regoing to have it very chunky,
very thick, very creamy.
You don't want that Literallythe things of nut milk you buy
in the store probably have abouttwo or three nuts in them I'm
not kidding you because you wantto put in your berries.
Get that color and a littlebanana.

(08:47):
I like banana because it makesit sweet.
So something sweet a date, abanana, something to make it
sweet.
If it's not sweet enough, add alittle bit more for yourself.
Yes, you don't want to eat aton of the sweetest sweet things
, but just start there.
Such a great way to get greens.
Make that green smoothie.

Jarrod (09:03):
Bananas will also thicken it up some too.

Anita (09:05):
Love it, absolutely love it.
Jared and I have about amillion and one ways we can show
you how to get more greens intoyour life easily and quickly.
We go through all of these inthe accelerator course.
Get in there now atpoweronplantscom forward slash
accelerator.
I'm telling you it is going tobe worth its weight in gold,
because in there we teach youour five-step proven framework
for making whole foodplant-based, enjoyable and

(09:27):
exciting, so that it lasts.
It's quick, it's easy, it'sdelicious.
You absolutely need it.
We walk you through how to makethings in the kitchen.
We show you all these thingsand we answer your questions as
you go anita, how to make agreen smoothie that doesn't
taste gross.
I take you in the kitchen.
I can show you how.

Jarrod (09:44):
And true to the name Accelerator.
It will fast track your success.

Anita (09:47):
Absolutely.
That's why we chose the name, right?
You want to get there faster.
You don't want to just getthere and try to figure it out
10, 15 years down the road.
You know some about it, butit's just what you kind of piece
together.

Jarrod (09:59):
Would you rather have success over 15 years or 8 to 12
weeks?
Right, I would take the 12weeks.
Me too, because you're going toget there faster and then be
able to enjoy and benefit fromthe improvement you get for that
remaining part of the 15 years.

Anita (10:14):
It's so much simpler.
Even if it took you 16 weeks, even if it took you four months,
it's going to be so much fasterthan you could have done it
before when you have someonewho's gone there and can show
you the way.
So the number one food you wantto get more of into your life
is leafy greens.
We could go on and on just onthis one thing.
We're not going to, because wecould tell you all the benefits

(10:36):
and all the vessels that couldopen and all the things it's
going to do for you.
You need more leafy greens intoyour life.
Number one get those.
Find the way you enjoy it sothat it sticks.
And what's your second one?

Jarrod (10:48):
And we're talking about like just second concept or
second food item.

Anita (10:51):
Well, her question was what should be the three best
things to incorporate Things Ifyou weren't able to go 100%
whole food plant-based.
So if you're just doing someplant-based and you want to eat
more plants, what are the threebest plants to start
incorporating into your life?
The three best things she said.
I'm assuming she's askingspecific.

Jarrod (11:10):
I'm trying to think of the three concepts that would
have the biggest initial impact.
So the green smoothies for thenumber one.
Number two, I'm just thinkingmore raw foods.
It doesn't have to be 100%, butmore raw.
That way you're getting theliving nutrients, the enzymes,
the things that couldpotentially be denatured if it
gets cooked.

(11:30):
You're not saying cooked food'sbad, but definitely a good
balance.
So if all the food is cooked, maybe start trying to get some
of that percentage of it raw.
My favorite way is oats in themorning, because I don't cook my
oats.

Anita (11:43):
This is so good.
We didn't plan this.
My number one food to get wasoats in the morning.
Oats in the morning loaded withcolorful berries.
Okay, simple breakfast withloads of color and
phytonutrients, but you don'teven have to cook it, like
Jared's saying.

Jarrod (11:58):
Yes, I don't cook mine ever.

Anita (12:00):
How do you make it?
Tell them how you make it.

Jarrod (12:02):
I just I take oats.
This is Jared's morning oats.
Now, if you listened to apodcast two or three years ago,
I have changed it a little bit.
So now, yes, I branched out,but now I'm stuck on my newest
favorite.
I've been on this one for abouta year year and a half but I
take raw oats, take a cup of rawoats, put it in my bowl and
then I take a heaping halftablespoon of pumpkin pie spice.

(12:27):
Thank you, fall.
You got me addicted, pumpkinpie spice.
We had some back in October, november, so I thought well, we
have some, it's the season forit.
But I love the nutmeg and thecinnamon and all the spices that
are in there.
I will also put a little dab ofsome extra cinnamon because I
do love the kick of that, andI'll put some vanilla powder
because the vanilla, along withthe warming spices yeah, it just

(12:49):
blends well together.

Anita (12:50):
We're not talking about the white vanilla powder.
This is actual vanilla beanground up.
It's delicious.
Try it if you haven't triedthat yet.

Jarrod (12:57):
Previously, for a time or two I made nut milk and I
thought, okay, what can I do tospeed up this process?
So I put water in it.
Now you can mash the oats andit will create kind of like an
oat milk in it.
But I thought I want a littlemore creaminess to this.
So we have a soy milk that webuy Organic has nothing but
water and soybeans in it and itdoes have a creaminess.

(13:19):
So I'll splash a couple ofounces in that and then I mix it
.
And then I mix it and then juststart with a spoon right Start
with a spoon.
And because I didn't add anysweetener, like I would if I was
making plant milk by itself, because when we make plant milk
we'll add a date or two for thesweetness.
So what I thought?
Thinking simple, we have datesyrup in our cabinet, so I will

(13:40):
drizzle some of that and then alittle bit of honey for that
honey flavor, and then I'll mixthat in so that sweetens it and
then I do stir it, but I'll kindof mash the oats a little bit
so that way some of thatoatiness comes out of the oats
you know what he's doing.

Anita (13:56):
You can even do this with water.
You don't have to use plantmilk.
You can use the back of yourspoon, mash it in that water and
it makes oat milk.
Well, that's what I do butyou're making it thicker and
you've already added the soymilk.

Jarrod (14:06):
So now, you just for a little extra creaminess.

Anita (14:08):
That's double creamy oats .
That's what you, what youshould call that Jared's double
creamy oats.
That's it.

Jarrod (14:13):
I'll do that.

Anita (14:14):
Yeah, okay.
So here's what I love aboutthis when you start talking with

(15:00):
eater when you have a resourcelike this of two healthcare
professionals, a physicianassistant certified in lifestyle
medicine, and now you have anurse with her BSN who's worked
in nursing for years and is anintegrative nutrition health
coach on top of that and justwent all in when she was dealing
with her own health strugglesthat kept amassing and didn't
know what to do, and she duginto the research with her

This is what they literally did.
I could name off people afterpeople, after person after
person.
My blood pressure is back down.
I don't need blood pressuremedication anymore.
I'm off my cholesterolmedication.
You're not gonna believe this.
I'm feeling so much better.
How can I work with you?
What is the next step?
Like I want to know how to goall in.
I've only gone three-fourths inand I know.
If I'm getting this kind ofresults, I want you to take me

(16:06):
by the hand and show me what todo.
That's what we do insideAccelerator.
But again, this is our communityservice content.

not getting the answers.
And why has nobody told me this?
And I didn't even know it waspossible to reverse autoimmune
disease.
I didn't know it was possibleto reverse IBS rheumatoid.
I didn't know it was possibleto get these migraine headaches
out of my life.
But when you start getting ridof these things, what Jared and
I've seen going from the shiftof being healthcare

(16:49):
practitioners who helped peoplemanage their disease, we now
have shifted to helping peopleactually prevent and even
reverse disease.
And what our heart is and whatwe see time after time, is
you're freed up to now.
Start living your life, yourGod-given calling that was
sitting on a shelf, that youkept dreaming of and wishing you
could do.
Running and playing with yourkids, traveling, doing all these
things in life that you wantedto do.

(17:09):
Starting a business, buildingyour business to the next level.
You couldn't do those thingsbefore because you didn't know
the three things to start withright.
You didn't know the threethings that you should start
eating right away.
You didn't even have an ideawhere to start.

Jarrod (17:23):
And simple changes can yield big results.

Anita (17:25):
Yes.
So get in our community servicegroup at powerimplantscom
forward slash pie.
It's going to cost yousomething.
You're going to have to takethe time to get in there and get
involved, but I can promise youthis is going to be so much
cheaper.
The time that you put intolistening while you're on the
road, the time that you put intosearching up the answers that
you need, getting there, askingthe questions, sharing what

(17:46):
you're already making and doingis going to give you your next
idea.
You don't understand it, butwhen you start sharing with
people the stuff you're doing, you are going to get your next
idea.
And your next idea it may comefrom them, because it's going to
keep growing and growing andyou have this incredible
resource a family in there.
And when you all get in thereand say you know what, I'm tired
of just being a bystander, I'mtired of just sitting in here

(18:08):
and watching and reading otherpeople's posts.
I want to become active in this.
And when you do, your braincells start working.
You'll be telling something youdo and it'll make you think of
something else.
Why haven't I done that before?
It's amazing how this works.
God created us to live incommunity and we go farther and
we go faster when we go together.
And it's absolutely true, getin the group right now.

(18:29):
It's going to change your life.

now at poweronplatescom forwardslash cookbook.
They're absolute no brainerswhen it comes to quick, easy,
delicious recipes you are goingto love.

(18:49):
So the funny thing is, we'retalking about bouncing ideas off
of each other, like when youcome into our community service
group, right?
So you're going to be in theregetting ideas and getting new
ideas by sharing with each other.
This is what just happened withme and Jared.
We're kind of on the samewavelength here, though, because
we're sharing the three thingsyou want to get into your life,
right?
So we've shared about first.
I said you want the greensmoothies, because Jared said

(19:11):
greens.
I already had written downgreen smoothies, so now his next
thing is raw, and he startstalking about raw oatmeal.
Well, think about this, wrapyour mind around this.
Green smoothies Our first thingalso falls under raw, so you
can wipe out two of Jared'scategories raw and green with
green smoothies.
So now really, he has to giveme two more things.
That's kind of funny actually.

Jarrod (19:31):
Now for Jared's oats.
We can't forget.
Jared's double creamy oats isthat I will add blueberries or
strawberries to them or freshcut mangoes and a little bit of
fruit to them.

Anita (19:43):
Oh yeah, gotta have the fruit that tops it off, or?

Jarrod (19:45):
I might add more than one fruit if I'm feeling a
little saucy.

Anita (19:48):
So good, I might not make you give us two more, because
really you did say oats andgreen smoothie, but they did
both fall under raw, which wasreally good.
Well, I said raw.
No wait, you said raw andgreens.
And I said oats smoothie.
And what's your third thing?
Let's see if they kind ofoverlap any.

Jarrod (20:08):
I thought I gave you a third thing.

Anita (20:10):
What was the third thing you gave?

Jarrod (20:11):
I thought it was the green.
Eat more greens.

Anita (20:14):
Uh-huh, eat raw, raw, oh oats were your third thing, but
those were the raw thing.
That was your raw example.

Jarrod (20:20):
I said oats as an example of raw.

Anita (20:23):
You're right, you're right.

Jarrod (20:25):
Okay, so a third thing.
Well, while you're stumped.

Anita (20:29):
Well, there's so many different things.
What are some things that cameto mind?
Just give me two.

Jarrod (20:37):
Well, one thing that comes to mind are beans, because
those are known to be veryhealthy, even if you don't
change your typical diet if youadd beans to it.
They've noticed that it doesn'tadd any extra weight and it
adds extra health benefits, evenlongevity, to your life, Right?

Anita (20:50):
And it also keeps you full longer.
They're very satisfying.
They're one of the stir foods.
I call them stir foods, s-t-y-r.
Stick to your ribs.
You want to get these foodsinto your life at all times, but
they also feed your gutbacteria.
All whole plant foods do.
Yes, they also feed your gutbacteria.
All whole plant foods do butbeans are great at this with all
the fiber in them, so plantfoods are filled with fiber.
Animal products have none Getmore.

(21:11):
Beans Love that.
That is such a great thing toadd as the third.

Jarrod (21:14):
And beans are also good for minerals, so if you're
wanting to improve any of yourminerals iron, copper, manganese
beans- you know what I love?

Anita (21:24):
that one and our third ones are so similar because,
again, I didn't say beans.
Guess what I did say StirS-T-Y-R, stick to your ribs
Salad.
So I know you think, oh, salad,I don't want to eat salad.
You need to switch up yoursalad game and you need a new
sauce.
Go and listen to our saladepisodes, anita.
I don't know what episodenumbers those are off the top of

(21:45):
my head.
I don't either.
But guess what you can do?
You can go into our free groupat poweronplatescom, forward
slash P-I-E and then in thatsearch bar, that little
magnifying glass Bottom righthand corner.
Click it Bottom right handcorner.
Click it and type in salad andI promise you it's gonna bring
up every time we've ever saidsalad in any episode and you can
press play and it'll take youto the exact moment in that

(22:07):
episode.
You don't have to scrub throughit, try to find it.
I'm not kidding you.
Wrap your mind around how crazythis is.
We should have explosivenumbers inside the community
service group after you listento this episode.
If not, it's just somethingsitting there like on a shelf
that you could be using, takingyourself to the next level.
Get in and get involved.

Jarrod (22:26):
You don't have time not to and down the road you're
going to look back and think whydidn't I use this sooner?
So just go ahead and doyourself a favor and do it now.

Anita (22:35):
Do it now.
Okay, so we're on the same pathagain.
On this third thing that youneed, I'm saying stir or stick
to your rib salad.
You're saying beans.
That's again something thatjust really sticks to your ribs,
makes you feel satisfied andadds a lot of nutrients.
I know we were both thinkingabout nutrients here when you
said what are the three things Ineed?
Greens.
Together we've said greens, rawoats, smoothie.

(22:57):
Listen, I know you probablyheard some people say you need
to chew your food.
Don't drink a smoothie.
Just get the smoothie.
You're trying to get morenutrients in your life and you
want to eat three things thatare new.
Get a smoothie.
You're going to get a lot morethan three things in that
smoothie and it's going to makeyour body happy and your life is
going to start to change.
It will look different.
You will no longer be the sameperson.

(23:17):
Just trust us on this.
We haven't just had this happenfor us.
We're not just somebody outthere saying to you hey, this
could happen for you, maybebecause it happened for me.
No, we've seen the research.
It has happened for both of us.
We lost 75 pounds together andhave kept it off, never trying
to diet, never trying to countcalories, having to portion
control, none of that stuff.
So you can trust us.
We've reversed multiple diseasesof our own, but then we've

(23:40):
walked other people through howto do this, step by step by step
.
And guess what?
When they do it, they getresults.
They start feeling better.
We see it time and time andtime again.
We know it works.
So a stick to your ribs saladhas to have stick to your ribs
things on it, things like beans, potatoes.
But go and listen to thoseepisodes, get in the free group,
search it.
You're going to find exactlywhat you need there.

(24:01):
Now second part of her questionthe three best things to remove
.
So I think what she's asking iswhat is sabotaging me the most
that I need to get rid of rightaway?
Give me three, jared.

Jarrod (24:11):
All right.
Well, the first immediate oneis refined oils, because we know
from personal experience thatwas making the biggest negative
impact on your health as far asthe stiffness, the aching, the
pain and the low energy.

Anita (24:25):
Joint pain was extreme.
Once I came off the oils itwent away.
It went away.
So if you've been hurting, itis worth learning how to cook
without oil.
It will blow your mind.
I know you don't think it'spossible.
I grew up in a southerndown-home barbecue restaurant.
Trust me, I think mosteverything we made had oil in it
or was fried in oil.
I'm not kidding you and my momand my dad.
They tried to cook healthy, Likethey cooked things from scratch

(24:47):
.
We used a lot of fruits andvegetables, but it was just done
in a way that was not optimallyhealthy for us and they just
didn't know.

Jarrod (24:54):
And if you doubt it because you do hear some
conflicting information outthere about certain oils being
healthy.
If you doubt it conflictinginformation out there about
certain oils being healthy Ifyou doubt it, just try it for a
week.
You don't have to commit to alifetime of it.
Just say for seven days I'mgoing to emit all refined oils
from my diet and just see.
See the difference that itmakes, because we've seen
numerous people where, withinseven days, pain gone, the

(25:17):
energy levels up, the stiffnesshas reduced and they're doing
things they couldn't do for thefew years prior to it.

Anita (25:24):
Oh, if I could go back and have somebody give me this
piece of information, this onepiece and we've dropped so much
amazing, high qualityinformation on this podcast
episode just this one episode.
But if you just took that onepiece and you put it into
practice.
If you're hurting, if you're inpain, if you don't feel good,
like Jared said, don't worryabout the conflicting
information.
I'm so confused I don't knowwhat to do.
Try it.

(25:45):
You have nothing to lose andeverything to gain.
Nothing to lose except poundsand pain.
That's all I have to say aboutthat.
Now, that was one that was onmy top four.
That was one on my top four andI might should have made it my
number one because it made ahuge difference.
But I'll tell you, these otherthree things have made a huge

(26:08):
difference to me and that iswhat do I get out of my life
Meat, eggs, dairy Now, I know Ididn't name, I didn't go
sandwich meat, like in meats.
If it was just one meat at first, actually it might be pork.
It either be pork if you'restill eating pork, yeah, that'd
be the first thing.
Pork, if you're still eatingpork, go, let it go, okay.
And then the next thing wouldbe the sandwich meats and I
would probably do both of thosetogether at first.
Immediately, do it.

Jarrod (26:25):
Those are the worst of the worst Sandwich meats are
known.

Anita (26:28):
Sandwich meats are known carcinogens.
They're known to cause cancer.
The research is out there.
It's been there for a long time.

Jarrod (26:38):
You're just not being told and we'll have more.

Anita (26:40):
But those just meat.
Okay, meat in general, eggs, dairy and I was a dairy queen
Like I probably would have shutthis podcast off if I heard
somebody say that it would beover.
But I'm telling you, you canreplace it.
If this dairy queen can do it,you can do it.
I'm not forcing myself to dosomething I hate.
I'm not eating foods I hate,and I do not miss cheese a
single day in my life.
Why?
Because I found my newfavorites.

(27:02):
There it is again.
There's my soapbox.
I just stepped up on it.
Did you see that?
Find your new favorites.
We're going to show you how todo that, step by step.
It's one of the things we doinside Accelerator Get inside
Pie.
You can start doing it there aswell.

Jarrod (27:23):
We want to find those and keep a running list.
It's going to change everythingfor you, anita meat, dairy and
eggs.
You've just named the wholething, absolutely.

Anita (27:26):
Yeah, you went kind of general on those three.
I thought you were wanting somespecifics.
I was real specific on thefirst ones, but I'm trying to be
specific in meat.
So we got the pork and the porkand I have to do the two
because you have to do those twoat first at once.

Jarrod (27:35):
And that's what I tell my patients all the time when I
start to introduce it.
I know too many things.

Anita (27:41):
I know too many things, we've researched too many things
.
We've seen too much research.
We've seen too many people getout of the problem.
So what I want you tounderstand is these are the
things that you want to worktowards getting out of your life
meat, eggs and dairy.
Okay, anita, how do I do that?
Well, here's the thing Insteadof focusing on these last three
the things I need to get out ofmy life, except for the pork and
the meat Just stop buying itLike, don't get it.
Don't buy and get these thingsin your environment, but focus

(28:03):
more on the first three whenyou're starting.
Focus more on the first three.
Yes, you need to get the otherstuff out.
It's so, so important, but Iwant you to focus on what do I
want to get into my life morethan I need to get that out?
I can't eat, but I can't eat,but I can't have.

(28:27):
We have episodes on that too.
Okay, super important to changeyour mindset around that.
Focus on the first three.
I need it.
I don't want to do three atonce.
Then do one of the first threewe gave you.
Okay, focus on what you want toget in and start eating more,
because when you eat thesethings more.
What is naturally going tohappen?
Can you see it?
As you eat more of these thingsthat are beneficial for your
health, you're going to startfilling up and having less space
for the things that are harmingyou.

(28:49):
You're going to start fillingthose spaces in your stomach and
in your life with things thatare good for you, that make you
feel better.
You're going to have moreenergy.
You're going to start feelingbetter.
You're going to stop hurting somuch.
Then you're going to say whatcan I do next?
What's the next step?
And we're going to be there foryou every step of the way to go
.
Okay, here's the next step.
Here's the next step.
Super quick, super easy.

(29:09):
Try this recipe.
You're going to find your newfavorite for this, find your new
favorite for that and, beforelong, all the favorites are
going to, by nature, crowd outall of the things that have been
sabotaging you for so long, andyou're going to have
replacements.
I feel like replacements are soimportant in the beginning, but
not the nasty replacements thatare processed and in the store.
Yes, they can be transitionfoods, but you can have

(29:31):
replacements and you can findthem, and they're not hard and
they're quick to make like fiveseconds and you're done.
Things like new sauces and newdressings that are going to
change everything for you.
Meat replacements we go throughall that again inside
Accelerator.
Why?
Because I know it's important.
I had to have meat replacements, I had to have cheese
replacements.

Jarrod (29:53):
You still have the meals that you love, and we want you
to be able to replicate those ina way that you enjoy but that
love you back.

Anita (29:57):
So seriously, here is my point.
I would simply focus on addingin the first three, and the ones
to remove will start naturallyfalling by the wayside.
We are not kidding about this.
This is just one of the many, many amazing ways that Jared and
I can show you that work.
When you want to nix those lastthree and not feel one bit sad

(30:17):
about it, do you feel sad abouthow we live now?
I mean seriously.

Jarrod (30:20):
Not at all.
I love it.

Anita (30:22):
If we shut everything down, which we're not going to
do.
But if Power on Plants was nomore Jared and I would still be
eating the same way.
Why?
Because we love it that much.
We absolutely love it.
It is quicker, it is easier, itis happier, it makes us feel
amazing.
The food tastes great.
We miss nothing because wefound our new favorite.

Jarrod (30:39):
We have no cheat days.
We don't desire cheat days.

Anita (30:43):
So what do we call that?
We call that a no-brainer.

Jarrod (30:45):
I was going to say freedom, freedom, oh my word, I
like it even better.

Anita (30:49):
It's food, freedom.
It's plant-based joy and yourlife changes.
And then the possibilities boom.
Imagine the door ofpossibilities that have been
closed for you so long all of asudden blowing open.
What would you do?
What will you do when thathappens for you?
And before long, you're livingin freedom and the sun is
shining again.

Jarrod (31:07):
And you're out there enjoying it, and you're out
there enjoying it.

Anita (31:10):
There's nothing else that needs to be said.
That is it.
I hope that you have enjoyedthis episode as much as we have
Sunshine, and we want you to gothroughout this day and the rest
of your week knowing thatyou're loved, you're genuinely
prayed for.
We can't wait to get to knowyou inside of Pi and we will see
you again very soon.
Thank you.
