apples or a combo of berries.

Take just a few minutes after
your grocery run to wash, chopand store your favorite fruits

I prefer the glass ones.
Not only does this make themmore appealing, but you'll be

Think of fruit as your perfectfast food, because it's quick

Now this next one is a snackthat's as refreshing as it is
colorful Our watermelon jicamasalad.
This one is even a flavorfulshowstopper for summer get
togethers or cookouts, becauseit's light and refreshing and
it's full of flavor, which isperfect for the hot days when

you want something hydrating aswell as satisfying.
Here's what goes into it Alittle orange zest and freshly
squeezed orange juice, a touchof lime zest and some lime juice
, a sprinkle of Himalayan pinksalt and then the stars of the
show eight cups of juicy, cubedwatermelon and one crisp jicama
cut into matchstick shapes.

Top it all off with a quartercup of fresh mint leaves,
roughly chopped, Mix it togetherand there you have it a
colorful, thirst-quenching saladthat never gets soggy and is
sure to become a family favorite.

All you need is balsamicvinegar, a bit of tasty brown
mustard and some freshly mincedgarlic or garlic powder.
Give these three ingredients agood mix together and then pour
that dressing right over yourveggies.

And if you want to take thissimple snack up another notch,
add a sprinkle of Italianseasoning or my personal
favorite pizza seasoning to it.
Then make it even more stick toyour ribs by tossing in a few
drained chickpeas.
