First, let's talk about one ofmy favorite classics hummus.
But not just any old hummus ourhearty oil-free hummus dip
straight from our originalcookbook.
If you've ever struggled tofind oil-free hummus at the
store, I've got fantastic newsfor you.
It is such a breeze to create atasty batch right in your own

kitchen, Whether you spread iton a collard wrap or dip fresh
veggies into it, or use it as adressing or a sauce base, or
simply enjoy it by the spoonfulmight be my favorite way.
There's really no wrong way toeat this favorite.
I love pairing it with arainbow of fresh veggies.
Think crunchy carrots and sweetbell peppers and crisp

underrated snacks out there cutfruit.
I know it sounds basic, buthear me out.
There's something excitingabout opening your fridge and
seeing a container of fresh,ready-to-eat fruit just waiting
for you, Whether it's juicypineapple, sweet grapes, crisp
apples or a combo of berries.

Having fruit prepared and readyto eat makes healthy snacking a
no-brainer, and it sets you upfor natural and enjoyable weight
loss success.

And here's my tip Take just a few minutes after
your grocery run to wash, chopand store your favorite fruits
in clear containers.
I prefer the glass ones.
Not only does this make themmore appealing, but you'll be
amazed at how much more likelyyou are to reach for them
because you can see them whenhunger strikes.
Think of fruit as your perfectfast food, because it's quick

and delicious and hydrating, andalso packed with vitamins,
minerals and fiber.
Now this next one is a snackthat's as refreshing as it is
colorful Our watermelon jicamasalad.
This one is even a flavorfulshowstopper for summer get
togethers or cookouts, becauseit's light and refreshing and
it's full of flavor, which isperfect for the hot days when

you want something hydrating aswell as satisfying.
Here's what goes into it Alittle orange zest and freshly
squeezed orange juice, a touchof lime zest and some lime juice
, a sprinkle of Himalayan pinksalt and then the stars of the
show eight cups of juicy, cubedwatermelon and one crisp jicama
cut into matchstick shapes.

Top it all off with a quartercup of fresh mint leaves,
roughly chopped, Mix it togetherand there you have it a
colorful, thirst-quenching saladthat never gets soggy and is
sure to become a family favorite.

You can even bake a few sweetpotatoes ahead of time, and when
you're ready for a snack, justsprinkle on some pumpkin pie,
spice or cinnamon.
That's it.
And don't stop at thetraditional orange ones.
Try purple or white sweetpotatoes too.
They're all delicious, and eachvariety is packed with

nutrients like beta carotene,vitamin C, potassium and fiber.
This is a snack that will keepyou happy, full and energized on
your weight loss journey.

Last but definitely not least, build yourself a bowl
of mixed raw veggies, whateveryou love or have on hand.
Try them in various shapes too.
You could dice them into cubesor even make bowls full of
spiralized veggies with them.
Now here's where the realhappiness happens.
I want you to top that big bowlof fresh veggies with my

favorite, super easy threeingredient balsamic dressing.
All you need is balsamicvinegar, a bit of tasty brown
mustard and some freshly mincedgarlic or garlic powder.
Give these three ingredients agood mix together and then pour
that dressing right over yourveggies.
This one makes my taste buds sohappy.

And if you want to take thissimple snack up another notch,
add a sprinkle of Italianseasoning or my personal
favorite pizza seasoning to it.
Then make it even more stick toyour ribs by tossing in a few
drained chickpeas.
It's satisfying, guilt-free andthe best part, you can enjoy it
