Prophecy turns razor-sharp when Daniel 11 moves from Persian kings to Alexander’s swift empire and lands on a ruthless figure who weaponizes flattery and force. We walk through the text line by line, showing how Antiochus IV Epiphanes desecrates the temple, manipulates power in Egypt and Jerusalem, and silences the covenant with lies—and why that storyline isn’t just ancient history. It’s a pattern, a preview pointing to a final Antichrist who exalts himself above every god, trades worship for control, and prizes the “god of fortress” over truth.

We unpack how the passage compresses centuries with startling accuracy, then widens into a double horizon where type meets fulfillment. Along the way, we highlight the faithful remnant who “know their God,” stand firm under pressure, and help many understand. This is where the theology gets practical: knowing God is not mere data; it’s an abiding life that can endure censorship, coercion, and cultural seduction. We connect Daniel’s vision with New Testament touchpoints—2 Thessalonians and Revelation—to show how counterfeit glory operates and why its days are numbered.

As the end-time scenes gather—north against south, Jerusalem under siege, the abomination as a flashpoint—the prophecy insists on both clarity and courage. The Antichrist plants his tents near the holy mountain and boasts, but the script is already written: the pretender falls, and no one can help him. We close with hope anchored in the true King’s return and a call to live watchful, wise, and grounded in Scripture.

SPEAKER_00 (00:16):
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Today we are in Daniel chaptereleven.
Last week in chapter ten, welearned that an angel had come
to Daniel after three weeks offasting and praying.
For the purposes of ournarrative, we've called this

(00:38):
angel Gabriel because Gabriel isthe one who has visited Daniel
twice before.
Today in chapter eleven, Gabrielis going to explain to Daniel
future prophecy that links withthe end times.
So let's get started at verseone.

(00:58):
And as for me, in the first yearof Darius the Mead, I stood up
to confirm and strengthen him.
Chapter eleven begins with thisverse that really would have
better been placed at the end ofchapter ten.
The angel that is speaking withDaniel, that we have called
Gabriel, is speaking of how heencouraged and fought with

(01:21):
Michael the Archangel two yearsago, during the first year of
Darius the Mead, which justhappened to also be the
beginning of the Medo PersianEmpire.
That same year would have alsobeen the same year that Daniel
was thrown into the lion's den,and the year that Cyrus made his

(01:42):
decree that Israel could returnto Judea, which explains to some
degree why there was such greatspiritual warfare in the
heavens.
Picking up in verse two, and nowI will show you the truth.
Behold, three more kings shallarise in Persia, and a fourth
shall be far richer than all ofthem.

(02:04):
And when he has become strongthrough his riches, he shall
stir up all against the kingdomof Greece.
Then a mighty king shall arise, who shall rule with great
dominion and do as he wills, andas soon as he has arisen, his
kingdom shall be broken anddivided to the four winds of

(02:26):
heaven, but not to hisposterity, nor according to his
authority, with which he ruled, for his kingdom shall be plucked
up and go to others besidesthese.
In verses two through four, theangel Gabriel tells Daniel the
future of the Persian Empire aswell as the next empire, Greece.

(02:50):
There are four kings mentionedby the angel that will rule over
Persia.
Now, while the Medo-PersianEmpire will actually have more
than just these four kings, theangel only mentions up to
Xerxes, because it was Xerxesthat would stir up the kingdom
of Greece.
Xerxes, in a failed militarycampaign against the Greeks,

(03:15):
would signal the beginning ofthe end for Persia, which would
eventually fall to Alexander theGreat in 330 BC.
Those first four kings by nameare Cambyses, Pseudo Smyrdus,
Darius Histappes, and the fourthand final king that is mentioned

(03:36):
here, that would become strongenough through his riches and
rule and stir up the kingdom ofGreece was Xerxes, also known as
Ahazurus, the king that ruledduring the time of Esther.
The mighty king that arises inverse 3 from Greece is Alexander

(03:57):
the Great.
The Christian historian Jeromeonce said of Alexander the
Great, nothing was accomplishedas swiftly as his conquest.
He took everything from the Gulfof Venice and the Adriatic Sea
all the way to the Indian Oceanand the Ganges River.
He did this not so much in hisbattles as by his reputation.

(04:20):
And I have a note that hisreputation became renowned after
the death of Darius III, when heconquered the Persian Empire.
When we read the prophecy ofverse four today and we look at
the history of Alexander theGreat, we stand amazed at the
clarity and accuracy with whichthis angel gives Daniel these

(04:45):
predictions.
The very year after Alexanderthe Great stopped his campaign
of war and he retired to thecity of Babylon, he died, just
as the angel prophesied.
After Alexander the Greatamassed his enormous empire, he
retired in Babylon at the age ofthirty three, and he finally

(05:07):
passed away that very same year, after a long battle with a
fever.
His kingdom was divided to thefour winds of heaven.
Indeed, when Alexander died, being that his empire was gained
by the power of war anddomination, the Greek Empire too
was divided to the four generalsof Alexander after his death.

(05:31):
The kingdom did not go toAlexander's family, nor did it
remain the United Kingdom in theway that Alexander would have
wanted, but it was dividedamongst his four generals.
Verses five through twenty willbe covering almost two hundred
years of wars between nationsthat border Palestine where the

(05:53):
Jewish people are residing, onebeing a kingdom to their north,
and the other a kingdom to theirsouth.
The angel Gabriel is coveringthese near future events as part
of God's reply to Daniel'sprayer.
Daniel was petitioning tounderstand what is going to

(06:13):
happen to his people.
And the king of the south forthe next fifteen verses is
Egypt.
So the king of the north isrepresented by Seleucus, or the
region of Syria.
For the sake of this podcast,I'm not going to go into all of
the details of verses fivethrough twenty, as we want to

(06:35):
focus more on the end timesprophecy.
If you're interested in thehistorical details of verses
five through twenty, please sendme an email.
I'd love to share that with you.
Picking up in verse twenty one.
In his place shall arise acontemptible person, to whom

(06:57):
Royal Majesty has not beengiven.
He shall come in without warningand obtain the kingdom by
flatteries.
Armies shall be utterly sweptaway before him and broken, even
the Prince of the Covenant.
Verses twenty one and twenty tworeally begin the heart of

(07:18):
chapter eleven.
While verses five through twentytalked about a great deal of
immediate history between theNorthern and Southern Kingdom.
Verse twenty one and versetwenty two begin what will
become a dual prophecydescribing the end days.

(07:40):
The despicable person thatarises in the northern kingdom
in verse twenty one after thedeath of Seleucus IV will be
Antiochus IV Epiphanes.
Daniel chapter eight verse ninereferred to him as the little
horn.
And we might ask ourselves, whyis so much time and prophecy and

(08:06):
God's special revelation givento this obscure king at the end
of the Greek Empire?
But the reason becomes clearwhen we understand that these
prophecies given to Daniel thatsurround Israel's near future
really are typologies andforeshadows of things that will

(08:28):
happen during the last days ofEarth.
Just as Israel experienced warsover the nations that surrounded
them, so there will beincreasing wars and rumors of
wars in the last days.
Antiochus Epiphanes, that isdescribed here, foreshadows the

(08:51):
final coming Antichrist in thelatter days of Earth.
Antiochus Epiphanes was a vileman.
He used trickery and lies toobtain his wicked ends.
While he was not directly inline to be a king, he seized the
opportunity through politicalflattery and intrigue when the

(09:14):
rightful heir was imprisoned inRome.
Antiochus IV named himselfEpiphanes, which means the
illustrious one, but he's moreappropriately named by one of
his contemporaries asEpimenides, which means the
madman.

(09:36):
We're told that armies shall beutterly swept away by this man.
Despite the fact that Egyptwould attack Antiochus IV with
overflowing forces, Antiochus IVEpiphanes defeated them through
his cunning tactics andtrickery.

(09:57):
We're also told he will breakeven the Prince of the Covenant.
Antiochus IV had Israel'srightful high priest, Onias III
murdered, and he established acorrupt relationship with one of
Onias' brothers, Menelaus.
He then appointed Menelaus asthe new high priest, while he

(10:22):
corrupted the temple and itspractices.
Antiochus IV, Epiphanes, wouldovercome incredible odds not
because he had great numbers ofpeople on his side, but because
he was so deceitful.
He had an incredible ability tocorrupt and manipulate the right

(10:44):
people at the right time.
Picking up in verse twenty threeAnd from the time that an
alliance is made with him heshall act deceitfully, and he
shall become strong with a smallpeople.
Without warning he shall come tothe richest parts of the

(11:04):
province, and he shall do whatneither his fathers nor his
fathers' fathers have done, scattering among them plunder,
spoil and goods.
He shall devise plans againststrongholds, but only for a
time, and he shall stir up hispower and his heart against the

(11:25):
king of the south with a greatarmy, and the king of the south
shall wage war with anexceedingly great and mighty
army, but he shall not stand, for plots shall be devised
against him.
Even those who eat his foodshall break him, his army shall
be swept away, and many shallfall down and be slain.

(11:49):
And as for the two kings, theirhearts shall be bent on doing
evil.
They shall speak lies at thesame table, but to no avail, for
the end is yet to be at the timeappointed.
Verses twenty three throughtwenty seven speak about how

(12:09):
Antiochus IV Epiphanes wouldmake an alliance with Ptolemy
the Sixth over his rival in theEgyptian kingdom, Ptolemy VIII,
and as soon as the alliance wasformed, Antiochus began plotting
how he would take over Egypt.

(12:30):
Antiochus Epiphanes would enterEgypt peacefully under a
pretense of friendship.
But then, just as the prophecysays, he comes to the richest
parts of Egypt and he strikes.
Antiochus IV would then sharethe wealth of these conquests

(12:51):
with both his troops and withkey people of state in Egypt,
thereby distributing this greatbooty with those who would
follow him.
And in so doing, AntiochusEpiphanes conquered much of
Egypt, all the way from Memphisto Alexandria before he was

(13:11):
stopped, and were told that twokings will have their hearts
bent on doing evil, and thatthey'll lie to one another even
as they sit at the same table.
Both the hearts of Antiochus IVand Ptolemy the sixth were very
self serving.
They were bent on doing evil, and while they had agreed to

(13:32):
work together, to fight Ptolemythe Seventh, they would lie to
one another even as they plannedto take Egypt for themselves.
twenty eight and he shall returnto his land with great wealth,
but his heart shall be setagainst the holy covenant, and
he shall work his will andreturn to his own land.

(13:56):
Now when Antiochus IV Epiphanesmade his way north from finally
being defeated in Egypt, hestill had great wealth, and he
would pass through Israel.
When he arrived in Jerusalem hefound an insurrection going on,
and he would deal ruthlesslywith the people of Judah.

(14:17):
He massacred over eightythousand men.
He plundered and profaned thetemple of God.
Josephus wrote When Antiochushad captured the city, he
sacrificed a swine on the altar, and with the broth of its flesh
he sprinkled the temple.

(14:38):
Picking up in verse twenty nineAt the time appointed he shall
return and come into the south, but it shall not be this time as
it was before.
For ships of Kidam shall comeagainst him, and he shall be
afraid and withdraw, and shallturn back and be enraged and

(14:58):
take action against the HolyCovenant.
He shall turn back and payattention to those who forsake
the Holy Covenant.
In verses twenty nine andthirty, Antiochus IV Epiphanes
gives his third and finalattempt to conquer Egypt.
However he will not besuccessful.

(15:20):
As it says, it will not be thistime as it was before, because
now those two Egyptian kingsthat had been rivals have since
agreed to rule as co regents, and Antiochus will now face a
united front.
Furthermore, a Roman fleet fromCyprus, or as it says here,

(15:44):
Kidum will side with Egypt, completely stopping the attack.
Antiochus would flee Egypt, afraid to even engage in a war
because of Rome.
But once again on his way back, this time from a serious defeat
in Egypt, Antiochus IV wasenraged, and he again stops in

(16:09):
Israel.
Antiochus IV Epiphanes opposedall who followed the covenant
and the Mosaic Law that someJews continued to keep.
Antiochus created and enforcedlaws that would give favoritism
to any who would forsake theholy covenant of Moses, and

(16:32):
instead adopt Greek views ofsexuality, mythology, and
religious practices.
Picking up in verse thirty one.
Forces from him shall appear andprofane the temple and fortress,
and shall take away the regularburnt offering, and they shall
set up an abomination that makesdesolate.

(16:56):
Verse thirty one talks aboutforces from Antiochus IV.
These forces that it's talkingabout are how Antiochus gave
Menelaus, one of the first falsehigh priests authority to remove
his brother Onias, who was thelegal high priest.
Menelaus immediately began todespise the temple and neglect

(17:21):
sacrifices, while leading Israelinto every conceivable iniquity.
And this began the taking awayof regular burnt offerings, four
years before Antiochus IV hadever profaned the temple with a
pig.
But then in one hundred seventyBC, Antiochus comes and sets up

(17:44):
this abomination that makesdesolate.
A first century BC Greekhistorian named Diodorus writes
of this event, saying WhenAntiochus Epiphanes had overcome
the Jews, he entered into theholy of holies of God, where
only the priest could lawfullygo.

(18:05):
There he found a marble statueof a man with a long beard,
holding a book in his hand andsitting on an ass.
He thought him to be Moses, whohad built Jerusalem, founded the
nation and established thoselaws that are hated in all of
the nations.
He desired to remove thisreproach to the nations and

(18:27):
endeavored to abrogate the laws.
Therefore he sacrificed a largesow to the statue of the
founder, Moses.
He poured blood on the altar ofGod that stood in the open air,
as well as on the statue.
He boiled the flesh of the sow,and he commanded that the holy

(18:51):
books containing their laws bemarred and obliterated with the
brother.
He commanded that the eternalflame which always burned in the
temple be extinguished.
He compelled Menelaus, the highpriest and other Jews to eat the

(19:12):
swine's flesh.
Verse thirty two says he shallseduce with flattery those who
violate the covenant, but thepeople who know their God shall
stand firm and take action, andthe wise among the people shall
make many understand, though forsome days they shall stumble by

(19:36):
the sword and flame, bycaptivity and plunder.
When they stumble, they shallreceive a little help, and many
shall join themselves withflattery, and some of the wise
shall stumble, so that they maybe refined, purified, and made
white until the time of the end,for it still awaits the

(20:00):
appointed time.
Verses thirty two through thirtyfive describe God's faithful
people amidst this verydifficult time.
It begins by saying that heshall seduce with flattery those
who violate the covenant, andtrue to form, Antiochus IV used

(20:22):
flattery to trick any Jewswilling to compromise the Mosaic
covenant.
Antiochus Epiphanes madebackroom deals with Jewish
leaders that were willing tocompromise, and then he would
place them in political andreligious power in Jerusalem.

(20:42):
Furthermore, Antiochus grantedthe apostate Jews that did
follow these apostate leadersthe right to live according to
the ordinances of the Greeks, and so they built a gymnasium
right beneath the Tower ofDavid.
But then were told that thepeople who know their God shall

(21:05):
stand firm.
What an incredible verse thattestifies to the obedience of
people who abide in arelationship with the living
God.
The Hebrew word for know here isused not only as a cognitive
knowledge, but an experientialknowledge.

(21:26):
It's an intimate knowledge ofknowing and being known.
Jesus said in John fifteen five,I am the vine, you are the
branches.
Whoever abides in me and I inhim, he it is that bears much
fruit, for apart from me, youcan do nothing.

(21:49):
These are the people that abidein a genuine relationship,
knowing and being known by theliving God.
The Scripture says they shallmake many understand.
Amongst God's people there willbe those who are wise, who
understand the times, much likethe sons of Isakar did in first

(22:13):
Chronicles twelve thirty two.
It will be these people whoshare their wisdom and help many
during these troubled andconfusing times.
But for some days it says theywill stumble, even though there
will be wise men that offersound advice during these

(22:34):
troubled times, the gravity ofthese corrupt laws, and the
forcefulness of Antiochus IVwith his sword punishing the
righteous will make it a veryconfusing time for God's people.
As a whole, the Jewish nationwill stumble, and they will join

(22:55):
themselves to the way of theGentiles, as Antiochus Epiphanes
becomes a very convincing ruler.
Even some of the wise, it says, will lose their footing and
stumble, which certainly willonly add to the confusion.
But we're told that even thoughsome of the wise will stumble,

(23:16):
they will not remain in ungodlylives.
The Lord will use it to refinethem by the fire of his
discipline.
These people of God will bepurified by the fire of God's
word.
They will be made white by thework of the coming Messiah.

(23:37):
And this will happen until thetime of the end.
The angel Gabriel tells Danielhere that this example of
Antiochus IV Epiphanes is notjust a one time historical
event.
This type of persecution uponGod's people will continue.
It will continue until the end.

(24:00):
Gabriel's mention of the endtimes here signals a transition
in this prophecy.
Up to this point, this prophecyhas primarily focused on
historical events that will takeplace a couple hundred years
after the life of Daniel.
However, the prophecy nowtransitions to a greater double

(24:25):
prophecy, pointing both toAntiochus IV and to the final
Antichrist that will come in thefinal days of the earth.
There's no question in my mindthat Antiochus Epiphanes is
given to us as a classic exampleof the spirit of the Antichrist,

(24:49):
and as an example of what theembodiment of that spirit will
look like in the last days ofthe earth.
Even as I write this today, Ithink about how the spirit of
the Antichrist is at work in ourtimes, setting up laws trying to
silence and kill those who liverighteous lives according to the

(25:11):
word of God, all while itpromotes godlessness, using the
very name of God.
Picking up in verse thirty six,and the king shall do as he
wills, he shall exalt himselfand magnify himself above every
god, and shall speak astonishingthings against the god of gods.

(25:34):
He shall prosper till theindignation is accomplished, for
what is decreed shall be done.
He shall pay no attention to thegods of his fathers, or to the
one beloved by women.
He shall not pay attention toany other god, for he shall
magnify himself above all.

(25:56):
In this double prophecy, werecognize that Antiochus IV had
incredible power to do as hepleased, but it will pale to the
power the final Antichrist willwield.
We learned in Daniel eighttwenty four that this power was

(26:16):
not his own.
Antiochus stands as an exampleof how the spirit of the
Antichrist is a power ofdarkness.
It is empowered by Satanhimself.
One day the spirit of theAntichrist will, through the

(26:37):
power of Satan, be embodied inone man.
Second Thessalonians two ninereads The coming of the lawless
one is by the activity of Satan, with all power and false signs
and wonders.
Revelation thirteen two readsAnd the beast that I saw was

(27:01):
like a leopard, its feet werelike a bear's, its mouth was
like a lion's mouth, and to itthe dragon gave his power and
his throne and great authority.
Verse thirty six tells us thatthis man will exalt and magnify

(27:22):
himself over every God.
This is the prideful heart ofthe spirit of Antichrist, and it
comes from Satan himself.
Satan led a rebellion againstGod because he thought that he
himself could sit on God'sthrone above the Lord of Lords

(27:43):
and the King of Kings.
So too does this spirit ofAntichrist think so highly of
himself that he speaks blasphemyagainst God, and he works to
disgrace the name of the verycreator that made him.
And we're told that he willprosper until the indignation is

(28:05):
accomplished, for it is decreed.
As shocking as this may be tous, this desecration of God's
name is decreed by God.
That actually gives us greatinsight into understanding
divine providence.
Scripture is very clear that Godis light, and there is no

(28:28):
darkness in him, that it isSatan, not God that is the
father of lies.
Therefore, God's decree of thisevil spirit accomplishing that
which is the very antithesis ofhis character, literally the
Antichrist, is based upon hisforeknowledge of Satan's free

(28:53):
will choices.
However, those choices all fitinto God's divine plan from
eternity.
As mind bending as that may beto us, this will all culminate
in a final antichrist that comesagainst God and all of his

(29:16):
creation.
Revelation thirteen seven readsspeaking about the beast, and it
was allowed to make war on thesaints and to conquer them, and
authority was given it overevery tribe and people and
language and nation.
Finally, we're told that thisspirit of Antichrist pays no

(29:37):
attention to the gods of hisfather, nothing beloved by women
nor any other god.
This clarifying statement showsus how this man will have no
empathy and no sympathy foranyone but himself.
He will be the ultimatenarcissist.
He will have no regard for thegods or traditions of his

(30:01):
fathers.
He will not be moved by anyaffections of women, and he will
disregard all the gods on earth, including the one true God,
because he exalts and makesmagnifies himself alone as God.
And this is exactly what theApostle Paul told us would

(30:22):
happen in the last days with theman of lawlessness in Second
Thessalonians two, three throughfour, which reads Let no one
deceive you in any way, for thatday will not come unless the
rebellion comes first.
And the man of lawlessness isrevealed the son of destruction,

(30:45):
who opposes and exalts himselfagainst every so called God or
object of worship, so that hetakes his seat in the temple of
God, proclaiming himself to beGod.
Picking up in verse thirtyeight, he shall honor the god of
fortress instead of these, a godwhom his fathers did not know he

(31:10):
shall honor with gold andsilver, with precious stones and
costly gifts.
He shall deal with the strongestfortress with the help of a
foreign god.
Those who acknowledge him heshall load with honor.
He shall make them rulers overmany, and shall divide the land

(31:30):
for a price.
Now it says he will honor thegod of the fortress.
We already know that this spiritof the Antichrist exalts only
himself.
So why this sudden shift tohonoring a god of the fortress?
What is that?
What does that mean?

(31:52):
Our example of AntiochusEpiphanes teaches us that this
spirit of Antichrist honors thegod of power, earthly power, and
earthly conquest.
This final Antichrist will focuson the conquest of all other
nations as he builds up powerfor his earthly empire, his

(32:17):
earthly fortress.
The final Antichrist will havethe strongest fortress as he
consumes the entire earth withhis evil campaign.
Again, this final Antichristwill be the embodiment of a
demonic spirit and will be atthe direction of Satan himself.

(32:42):
His dominion over the earth willbe so strong and so vast that
people will not be able topurchase or use the common
marketplace without his demonicmark.
Revelation thirteen sixteenseventeen reads Also it causes
all both small and great, bothrich and poor, both free and

(33:06):
slave to be marked on the righthand or forehead, so that no one
can buy or sell unless he hasthe mark that is the name of the
beast or the number of his name.
Finally we're told how theAntichrist will set up the earth

(33:27):
and dominions of power.
As he consumes the earth and itsresources, he will build his
fortress under the direction ofSatan.
And this final king or emperorthat is exalting himself as a
god over all of the earth willdivide the earth for a price,

(33:49):
taking the wealth of the nationsas he flatters them for their
loyalty.
Ultimately he is preparing forthe final battle of Armageddon
against Jesus Christ, becauseSatan knows that his time on
earth is short picking up inverse forty at the time of the

(34:11):
end the king of the south shallattack him, but the king of the
north shall rush upon him like awhirlwind with chariots and
horsemen, and with many ships, and he shall come into the
countries and shall overflow andpass through now verse forty
makes it clear that there hasbeen a shift in prophecy.

(34:33):
It tells us that at the time ofthe end.
Furthermore we know from historythat the remaining verses in
this chapter do not tie to thedetails of Antiochus IV
Epiphanes.
This final battle between Northand South is the final battle
that will take place on earthsurrounding the promised land

(34:56):
and Jerusalem in the end days.
And when the Antichrist iscoming to power we're told that
the South will rise up againstthe Antichrist in the North but
the Antichrist will come down onthem in such a fury that he will
utterly destroy them and passthrough them into further

(35:17):
conquest forty one He shall comeinto the glorious land, and tens
of thousands shall fall, butthese shall be delivered out of
his hand, Edom and Moab, and themain part of the Ammonites After

(35:38):
the Antichrist's attack on thesouth he will come back up into
the glorious land that is Judahand Jerusalem.
This may very well be the timethat he sets up and commits the
abomination of desolation, setting himself up as a god in
the temple.
Just as we read in Matthewtwenty four fifteen So when you

(36:02):
see the abomination ofdesolation spoken of by the
prophet Daniel standing in theholy place, let the reader
understand, then let those whoare in Judea flee to the
mountains.
Verse forty one teaches us herethat tens of thousands will
fall, and Scripture teaches usthat when the Antichrist takes

(36:25):
over Jerusalem it will be a timeof great distress for the Jewish
people, one like never before inhuman history.
Zechariah fourteen two reads forI will gather all the nations
against Jerusalem to battle, andthe city shall be taken and the
houses plundered and the womenraped.

(36:46):
Half of the city shall go outinto exile, but the rest of the
people shall not be cut off fromthe city.
Finally verse forty one talksabout three regions that will be
delivered during this time.
The region that spoke of here ismodern day Jordan and some of
very southern Israel.

(37:07):
For whatever reason theAntichrist leaves this area
alone forty two He shall stretchout his hand against the
countries, and the land of Egyptshall not escape.
He shall become rulers of thetreasuries of gold and of
silver, and all the preciousthings of Egypt, and the

(37:28):
Liberians and the Kushites shallfollow in his train.
But news from the east and thenorth shall alarm him, and he
shall go out with great fury todestroy and devote many to
destruction, and he shall pitchhis palatial tents between the
sea and the glorious holymountain yet he shall come to

(37:53):
his end, with none to help himin our last verses verses forty
two through forty five, we seethe Antichrist stretching out
his hand against all of theworld and bringing it under his
control.
The named countries hererepresent Northwest Africa,

(38:13):
which will be near his currentbase of operations in the end
days, around Jerusalem andJudah.
We're told that initially therewill be some countries in the
north and the east that willrebel against the Antichrist and
his worldwide control.
However we're also told that hewill utterly destroy them and
