Welcome to Preston Super Show This is the 79th installment of

(00:28):
show across all podcast platforms.
Listen, wherever you like, we are here.
We are here, everybody. The day is clear.
We have the the doubleheader forMonday Night Football where the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Detroit Lions at 6:00 PM and

(00:52):
then we have the 9:00 PM game where you will have the Houston
Texan up against the Seattle Seahawks out there at Looming
Field in Seattle, WA. This is a great day for sports.
We also have college football Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,

(01:15):
Friday and Saturday this week every day.
I'll be coming to you live Monday through Friday with my
best bets and talking about the big news of the day.
President Trump and Australia have signed a rare earth
minerals deal. Huge as rare earth minerals will

(01:39):
help bring down the cost of our energy usage.
We need to support President Trump.
The government shutdown is starting to affect every sector
of the economy slowly but surely.
But this is the grandmaster strategy.

(02:01):
Get people off of the government's tit and get people
back to work. We're also seeing a lot of
different things happening with America and China.
And the framework for a trade deal after the soybean debacle,
I call it, where China decided not to purchase our soybeans

(02:24):
from our farmers and instead went to Argentina.
Well, Trump has decided we're going to change the course of
that a little bit. We're going to cut a deal with
Argentina and obtain a lot more beef from them.
So now that we're bringing in a lot of beef from Argentina,

(02:44):
China and Argentina can come to grips and say, well, let's let
America in on this deal with thesoybeans.
So you have to do a little bit of pushing and pulling to get
what you want. When it comes to trade,
President Trump is the deal maker in chief.

(03:06):
But I'm the pick maker in chief.OK, That's who I am.
A 1500 year old synagogue has been discovered.
This is a groundbreaking discovery.
This 1500 year old synagogue hasuncovered some ruins that will

(03:28):
attest to a lot of the things that were going on during that
period. Also, they found a menorah and
some other religious artifacts inside.
And this is groundbreaking for everyone who loves archaeology
and wants to know more about history.

(03:50):
We use archaeology to point to the different times and
circumstances and uncover new things about the past.
But archaeology always points tothe Bible being correct.
Whenever you find archaeologistswho try to dismiss the Bible

(04:11):
with different archaeological findings, those findings are
always in the minority of scholars worldwide, not just in
America or North America. In another story that is not
getting much attention, Pope Leothe 14th has created 7 new

(04:34):
Saints all in his first 100 daysand all I have to say about that
is God bless those new Saints. He also canonized Archbishop
Ignatius Chokarala Meloan who was martyred during the Armenian
Genocide after refusing to renounce his faith.

(04:57):
And I hope everyone had fun at the No Kings protest not, but
they did get the text message saying that their food stamps
were going to be delayed becauseof the government shutdown.
And there is a whole ecosystem behind the food stamp program.
And because of how bad the farmers have been done this year

(05:21):
with the crops and the way the trade has gone and the
disadvantage America has in the marketplace now, you're seeing
that be reflected in the social services, namely food stamps.
The Movietron, sadly, was a flop.

(05:46):
Tron Aries is drawing more criticism from longtime Disney
supporters and also just criticsof Disney.
But they're facing a $132 million loss.
And we have to be real. They built it up the wrong way.
The casting was wrong and it doesn't look like a very good

(06:10):
script. So I think one thing that's very
important is people are sick andtired of this same old, same
old, and that goes for everything.
They don't want watered down movies and they don't want the
same actors and actresses takingthe shine from the hungry

(06:36):
starving actors and actresses ready to give a killer
performance. Now we have the courts today
that are reviewing a few things. We know that the 9th Circuit US
Appeals Court has allowed Trump to send the National Guard into

(07:00):
Portland, OR and officially takedown Antifa and clean up the
streets. This will also allow ICE to
effectively do their job. Every deportation that happens
is one life saved. That's the way I look at it.
Every deportation that happens is one life saved.

(07:23):
It's one job gained. It's one less burden on the
healthcare system. And when the food stamps is out
of play, that's really going to get the illegals looking at just
leaving. No more 5 in a house, 6 on a
house three of you have food stamps, 2 of you work, and the

(07:45):
two that are working work three jobs and the people coming out
of college are struggling to geta job with their sophisticated
degrees. The Supreme Court is taking up a
case on whether or not people with a marijuana card are going

(08:06):
to be allowed to have a weapon under the Second Amendment.
Well, we need the protection, folks.
So I think the Supreme Court should allow people that smoke
weed to have a firearm legally under the Second Amendment.

(08:28):
And it's plain as day to me. And an update about a few of the
cases right now, Pam Bondi's leading from the Department of
Justice. So from Trump's Department of
Justice, you have the prosecution against James comedy
that's looking more like it willbe tossed out, sad to say,

(08:52):
Leticia James with the mortgage fraud, that looks like a slap on
the wrist. And then you have the serious
one that's going to involve probably some extensive prison
time will be John Bolton with the national security,
disseminating of information to foreign nationals, among others,

(09:15):
even his own family, they're saying.
So if all those charges hold up,hold true, John Bolton will be
doing some serious time. So it'll probably be a two out
of three on those cases for the DOJ.
As far as the Charlie Kirk shooter, we know there's about
3000 people that aren't allowed to speak about this case right

(09:39):
now. So that should tell you the deep
state runs deep folks, and now it's time to make some money.
Let's look at this first game I really want to talk about, the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus Detroit Lions.
Buccaneers are five and one. Lions are four and two game at

(10:00):
Ford Field in Detroit, MI Total is at 53 1/2.
The Lions are the -6 1/2 favorites at the spread.
And I'm liking where this is going right now because I'm
going to tell you what I love, love.
Plus 6 1/2 if you can get it forthe Buccaneers, if you can get

(10:20):
it at +5 and a half. I love that at the spread.
Love the underdog at the spread here.
Baker Mayfield is having a phenomenal year.
If anybody's watching football, you know Baker Mayfield's having
a better year than Jared Goff. But that's not to say the Lions
can't win this game. But let's face facts.
Total of 53 1/2 is going over onthis field.

(10:42):
Teams fly. They fly like the wind.
But I do like the Buccaneers to win this game.
I'm going to give that away right away.
We have Baker Mayfield, who right now is 129 for 100 and
9512 touchdowns to 1 interception ratio, 1539 passing

(11:03):
yards. And one big reason why I like
the Buccaneers tonight is because they're going to have
Michael Evans back and he will seriously help this team defeat
the secondary of the Lions, who are down a free safety, a strong

(11:24):
safety and their number one cornerback.
The secondary for the Detroit Lions is depleted.
I don't like their offense as much as I have in years past
because I feel like it's a kind of a couple man show here like

(11:45):
Jared Goff and Jamar Gibbs and Amron St.
Brown. And then after that it's like
what happened to Sam Laborta. So I'm waiting to see a little
bit more out of that Lions team because I don't think they're
that deep on offense right now. What they have they absolutely

(12:08):
have to keep. They're going to be short a
guard in this game. So I think running the football
wise, it's it's still going to be a little bit of a challenge
for the Lions early on. And the later part of this game
is when the over will cash because that's when both of

(12:29):
these defenses are pretty brokenin.
Offenses are broken in, meaning that the offense has an
advantage. Their agility outdoes the speed
of the defense by that late third quarter and entire fourth
quarter. So I love the over, love the

(12:49):
Buccaneers to cover the spread and I do believe the Buccaneers
win the late game. Tonight we have the Houston
Texans versus the Seattle Seahawks. 9:00 PM kick off.
Texans are two and three on the season.
Seahawks are four and two. Total set of 41 1/2.
Watch this on ESPN. Houston Texans are the plus 3

(13:14):
1/2 road dogs in the plus 150 money 9 underdogs.
CJ Stroud is starting to look like his old self.
You have Sam Darnold who's been very good.
Little bit worried about the Texans defense.
They're two and three team. This is their 4th Rd. game.

(13:37):
This is the fourth home game forthe Seahawks.
Seahawks have looked pretty goodthis year, but their issue is
consistency. They can find a rhythm, but
consistency is going to be theirAchilles heel for the Texans.

(13:58):
They've won their last two. They've done it in impressive
fashion. No one's talking about them.
They're going to be without Christian Kirk.
I think that's just going to be something they deal with all
year. He's just not one of those guys
that's physically ready to play in this league.
He's always hurt. Then you have guys like Julian

(14:24):
Love for the Seahawks who are really like him at safety.
If he's unable to go, that really helps the Texans.
But you don't want to count on guys being out for face value.
I think the Texans can sneak this one out.
I like the underdog here, 41 1/2.
I like the total to go over. I'm not too high on either one

(14:48):
of these defenses. They're middle of the pack.
Texans plus 3 1/2. They cover that Nick Chubb
running the football and Nico Collins a wide receiver.
They have enough to beat the Seahawks.
They do. And the Seahawks, like I said,
they're not a consistent team. They're good but not consistent.

(15:10):
So they either lose this game like I believe or win like
nobody believes. And I think the Texans do pull
this one off and sneak it out late game Monday Night Football.
Very interesting. They're putting this on so late.
So even though it's a West Coastgame, I know the Texans are on a

(15:35):
central time zone. So that's something to keep in
mind. But I do like the Texans to get
right in this game. I don't feel like the Seahawks
are greedy enough on defense andthey're going to let the Texans
stay around in this game. My best bet is the over 41 1/2

(16:00):
and the Texans easily cover plus3 1/2 in my mind.
But I do like them to win. I think the Texans do win this
game. It makes a lot of sense.
A quick look ahead for tomorrow. We have the opening to the NBA
season, but also college football.
And I'm deep into college football right now.

(16:23):
We're in. Week 9 of college football
begins tomorrow, 6:00 PM. Tuesday night, Kennesaw State
will play Florida International, who has turned their season
around. And then we have 6:30 PM kick
off between Western Kentucky andLouisiana Tech.

(16:47):
Both teams have winning records.I like the quarterback for
Western Kentucky, McIver. The kid has a good arm.
He's got a good football mind. Some people say high football
IQ. I think football mind works even
better to be honest with you. And I just came up with that on
the spot. That's how we roll for the NBA.

(17:10):
We're going to have two games, four teams, Rockets versus the
Thunder and the Warriors versus the Lakers.
First game of the year. Tone setters for both of these
home teams. OK, C should dominate or -7 1/2
on the spread right now. I'll tell you right now that

(17:30):
Lakers game will be tight. Lakers should prevail in that
one. I don't really know what Golden
State has done yet to make theirteam better.
They might be even worse than last year unless they bring some
talent in. You have to bring in somebody to
bring in somebody else. Need somebody else on that team.

(17:53):
So we'll see. Still, we'll be close.
I think both of those games are going over Lakers game might
not. Sometimes they slow it down.
That's a good. That's something to keep in
mind. Then we have the NHL.
For those of you who still get excited, we have that tonight.

(18:14):
We have the Minnesota Wild versethe New York Rangers.
Then we have the Seattle Kraken up against the Philadelphia
Flyers. The Buffalo Sabres take on the
Montreal Canadiens, we get the Winnipeg Jets versus the Calgary

(18:36):
Flames, get the Hurricanes versus the Golden Knights.
It's the last game of the night for the NHL early in the year.
Love hockey. No Blackhawks tonight though.
The game I like the most out of this.

(18:59):
Well, when you're looking at that Buffalo Sabres verse
Canadians team, I think you havesomething there.
And I also like the Hurricanes versus the Golden Knights as the
final game of the night. Those will be the two better

(19:23):
games in my opinion for the NFL this past weekend.
You know, what I really liked about the NFL was that you saw
who was a contender and who are the pretenders.
We know who the pretenders are. Titans, Raiders, Jets who?

(19:45):
Giants, who might be pretenders to Falcons, Pretenders,
Chargers. Pretenders, Cardinals.
Good, good try, good effort. Vikings.
Oh, no shot. Absolutely no shot.
The Dolphins just clear the house out.

(20:06):
Jaguars, pretenders flew across the country, flew across the
world. That'd be 35 to 7 by the Rams.
Go, just go home. And the Saints Stinky, stinky
bad teams tonight you get. You know, some good teams, you
know, talked about the Buccaneers versus the Lions and

(20:28):
the Texans versus the Seahawks. Hopefully they proved me right.
Ladies and gentlemen, just like the hands of time.
I'm turning it over to you. Goodnight and God bless.
Psalm 37. Four KJV.
