No se puede negar que el ser hijo único tiene sus ventajas; Decía mi viejo: “Usted tiene un papá y una mamá para usted solo”. Es verdad, y doy fe de ello al día de hoy con mis 41 años de experiencia. Otra ventaja, es que no tuve que aguantar abusos, maltratos, chantajes y necedades de hermanos mayores y menores, que a futuro todas esas cosas se agudizan al momento de reclamar una herencia (mi herencia). Esas son desgracias que ocurren por allá en otras familias, en la mía no. Ser hijo único me ha obligado a pasar mucho tiempo conmigo mismo. Esto me ha servido para desarrollar mi imaginación, ser autodidacta, autosuficiente y lo mejor, no me importa estar solo. Claramente si me quisiera suicidar, bastaría con subirme en mi ego y tirarme desde allá. Muchas de esas particularidades de ser hijo único las comparto con el verdadero protagonista de esta historia: El gran Elvis Presley, que curiosamente no fue hijo único, fue gemelo único. Por si no lo sabían, Elvis era gemelo, su hermano (Jesse Garon Presley), murió al momento de nacer.
