1979, la tranquilidad y el ocio de mi pueblo se vieron alterados por la llegada de un distractor tecnológico, fuente de ocio evasión y esparcimiento. A pocos metros de la catedral un local abre al público con 6 máquinas de videojuegos, las que luego me enteraría que se llamaban “arcade o arcadia”.
Toda una novedad y progreso en un pueblo en el que no pasaba mayor cosa. Una curiosidad para grandes y chicos, una nueva manera de matar el tiempo acababa de hacer su aparición. Cada máquina contaba básicamente con un juego, no había mucho de donde elegir. Solo se contaba con invasores del espacio, pacman, (mis favoritos) y otro de peleas callejeras que poco me llamaba la atención.
