Apesar da queda prevista para a produção global, os estoques finais de algodão devem permanecer em níveis confortáveis na safra 2025/26.
Além disso, a área plantada nos EUA surpreendeu para cima, o que, junto com o clima positivo até o momento, traz boa perspectiva para a safra americana.
O Brasil está colhendo a safra 2024/25, com produção estimada em cerca de 4 milhões de toneladas, com necessidade de bons volumes de exportação para reduzir o excedente de oferta.
Se a safra americana não tiver intercorrência e a China seguir importando menos, entendemos que a grande oferta de Brasil e EUA deve deixar o mercado abastecido e os preços em patamares mais baixos.
