(01:14):
dot Com today on the episode kind of one of
the most waited for as soon as the new year
ticks over episodes that I do definitely an argument to
do it maybe earlier in the year to pick on
some of these names, but I've always thought it's kind
of beneficial to have like a full spring. You get
to see the guys in action, whether it's on the
backfields or whatnot, to kind of come up with the

(01:37):
ultimate Bold Prediction for a hitter and a Pitcher Prospect Edition,
And that's what we're doing today. I've got some awesome guests.
We've got Jeff Ponce from Baseball America, James Anderson from
Road to Wire, Tim Kannak Fantasy Aaseball, and Eric Cross
from the Tool Shed all going to join me. They're
going to give me one hitter and one pitcher, talk

(01:59):
about some other names that kind of float around in there,
and what Bold Prediction is in and we got some
big ones. You know, We've got a lot of these.
I guess we've kind of bounced around in how it's
been discussed year over year, but a lot of these
players are players that look to make some major jumps.
And I will say this as well. I don't think
when I say we have big ones, it's not to

(02:21):
the level where it's like, you know, hey, guys, Travis Bizana. No,
it's none of that. It's players that are going to
take massive jumps, some big man and maybe a couple
of players you haven't heard of or that aren't on
your radar, some very very interesting names. I'm very excited
to do it. We are going to get to all
of them in a little bit. At the end of
the show, I'm going to give you mine. I picked

(02:42):
one hitter and one pitcher. I'm pretty happy with them
too as far as these go, and it's kind of
as similar trajectory as a lot of these other guys.
The hitter is going to push for me as a
top twenty five prospect next season, and the sp is
very because I think this is a guy that was
kind of formally heralded and is ready to bounce back,

(03:04):
and he is not on many radars anymore. It's kind
of an afterthought. It's like we rarely have this, but
it's like a post a post hype prospect sleeper and
they haven't even graduated, So those are mine. We're going
to do that after everybody. And I'm very much looking
forward to what I am going to do here though.
Is I asked in the prospect when group me rooms

(03:26):
some bold predictions from the audience, and we've got some
names and we've got some stuff. So we're going to
be going through that. And as a matter of fact,
we'll just jump right into that. I will give you
based on I don't know who all responded. I was there,
I went away, I came back. We'll see if we
can run through some Yeah, we've got a decent amount here.
These are from the amazing community over on Prospect one.
Some of the best guys. Some of the guys have names.

(03:48):
I whenever people change it, it's like in mock drafts and
people change their name to something, I'm like, oh crap,
I don't think I remember who that is. We've got
some really good names that are going to be popping
up here, So let's go through him. Then I'll kind
of jump back into a little bit of news and notes,
and then we're gonna get to our awesome guest. So
asking this question bold prediction one hitter, one pitcher, first up,

(04:10):
can't stop the Cops goes Blade. Tidwell finishes the year
as the best Mets starter, and I thought about that
for a second because I was like, Oh, what do
you mean, Like that's better than Brandon's Sprott. That's kind
of cool. But I think they said Mets starter. That's everybody.
That's all of the guys, included Sean ma and Ia

(04:30):
and them. So I was like, oh, wow, that is
a big bold prediction for the hitter. I got to
be honest with you, I'm not even sure this one
is as bold anymore. Jesus Made finishes the year as
a top seven prospect in baseball. I think we're at
the space right now with Made where the bold even
if you said he's the number one overall prospect, I'm
not even sure that that's like bold anymore. I'm not

(04:53):
hating on this whatsoever, because I think it's still bold
because we're gonna have a bunch of graduations. But even
with the graduations, if you pay attention to the P
one ADPs, he was already like a top ten prospect.
So that's where the not boldness comes from. Based on
my rank, you know, I've got him in the twenties,

(05:13):
so that would push him up.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
But I like it.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
It's a guy that has no minor league or stateside
minor league experience, who's probably gonna get pushed to a
ball he would have to jump over Max Clark, Walcott,
Leo Devrees, And I think from that standpoint, that's how
you can look at it if you saw him as
the number one. But I think in this instance, I
kind of think that's where he's going to be. But
to be fair, you know, if you have let's say Clark, Bazanna, Walcott,

(05:39):
Leo Drees, Walker Jenkins, there's five already. God knows the
MANA Rodriguez ever goes out like I think it's in line.
I don't. I think it's maybe less bold, but it's
in line. But it's a good one. It's always good
to have a hasus made one in there.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Right all right?

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Next up stephen K. Houston has a Rookie of the
Year candidate and his name is Bryce Matthews cam Smith.
I actually was talking about this on one of the
Fantasy Pro shows about ten days ago. I put a
little bit of a sprinkle on a cam Smith bet
I'd actually my number one. I don't do a ton

(06:13):
of those Rookie of the Year ones. I feel like
there's a little bit more edge than like, you know,
Cy Young and whatnot. I had put a Christian Campbell
one in, but i'd got Christian Campbell around. He was
like seven and a half to one, so it's pretty
good odds and I decided to put a little bit
of a sprinkle about ten days ago in Cam Smith
and I got him twenty five to one. He is
now the odds on favorite. He is at four and

(06:35):
a half to one, So that is some positive ev
that's some positive return right there, right So what real
they call it? CLB. I'm trying to look to see
he's saying, Rookie of the Year candidate. Let me see
if he is even available MLB Awards Rookie of the Year.

(06:56):
Al let's see, I mean he's not even available. The
lowest you can go is fifty to one right now.
That's Cat and Dana, Travis Bizon, or actually fifty five
to one Carson Carson Williams you can get, but not
even a bet right now. So this holds true. Be
on the lookout because he would probably post for some

(07:17):
absolutely ridiculous number. The Shay Whitcomb, by the way, forty
to one, but Cam Smith is the odds on favorite
right now. I love I love the bold prediction, especially
that he kind of set us up. It's not Cam Smith,
it's Bryce, It's Bryce Matthews. This one is very interesting.
Steven is onto something. I'm just gonna tell you, you're
gonna hear this name come up. Ryan Sloan is a

(07:41):
top twenty overall prospect. So that is the bold prediction
that one will come up again. As mentioned, let's go
to Barry Baker, the Barry Baker Report. We got two.
Barry usually drops a bunch, but I did dictate one each.
Cooper Kenny hits forty doubles. This is a very specific
one with a two eighty plus batting average, fifteen homers,

(08:02):
fifteen steals, and is a top thirty prospect this time
next year. That is another big one. And you know
Barry is at the pulse of all of it. So
I'm always paying attention to Barry. The only thing that
makes me laugh is Barry will usually be on like
you know far young Dominican, you know states outside of

(08:26):
the state side players. So Cooper Kenny was one that
made me laugh because it's like, oh, that's a it's
a twenty twenty one draft pick. But Cooper Kenny with
the Tampa Bay Rays twenty two years old. He's only
been at high A. I'm not sure if i've seen
the designation. I'll probably be double A. But last year
hit two eighty nine with ten homers, six dolen bases,
around three hundred at bats. So you get a full
minor league season in he gets A, he's gonna have

(08:49):
to steal a little bit more. I'm not sure fifteen
to fifteen is gonna make him a top thirty overall
prospect unless he gets like three thirty. But I kind
of know where you're going with that, so maybe the
focus is not on the stat line more as a
top thirty overall prospect with the Rays. On the pitching side,
Thomas Harrington pitches one hundred and twenty innings in the

(09:09):
big with an under three seven ERA and a one
to two whip similar to Jared Jones's debut. I would
kind of argue, again, that might not be as bold
as you think it is, because I think that's kind
of in line. But what I like about that is
I think a lot of people would have put that
on Bubba Chandler. So putting it on Thomas Harrington is

(09:31):
where this does reach into the bold category. Because if
I would say they'll be a pitching prospect that'll have
one hundred and twenty innings similar Jared Jones debut, everyone
would be like, Oh, it's Bubba. In this case, it's not.
It's Thomas Harrington, who there was a thought that he
was going to break camp with the team, didn't end
up breaking camp, but I think he could be up
pretty soon. So that's a really really interesting one from Barry.

(09:53):
So we have got Cooper, Kenny and Thomas Harrington. All right,
let me get back to it. Dan Fu love this one.
Bryce Rayner puts up a three hundred, four hundred, five
hundred slash, a three four to five slash and wins
Florida State League MVP. I like that because Dan Fu
definitely went and saw Bryce Rainer when he was out

(10:15):
there during the spring break games and got to see
some eyes on it. And I talked off air with
with Jeff about Bryce Rayner as well. Well, well, I'm
gonna give you a little hint. We talked about it
on air as well. We talked about it on air
also for a reason. But I was a big Bryce
Rayner guy, Bryce Rayner over Connor Griffin, you know, for

(10:35):
a lot of the time, and I still really believe
in the bat. So I love this one. I think
it might be the most realistic one. His pitching one,
here's a big one. Jake bloss makes fifteen starts for
Toronto and enters twenty twenty six as a top seventy
five sp and all of baseball we're saying, so there's
a big pull here. There were a couple. It's funny.

(10:56):
There was a couple of major league ones in here,
which is really funny. Last one do mummert he goes.
I always get these wrong. However, Connor Griffin and Braiden
Montgomery are top ten prospects end of year, ahead of
Jack Kaglione and Christian Moore. So two hitting prospects actually,
braid Montgomery and Connor Griffin being valued ahead of Christian

(11:18):
Moore and Jack kgleon. Pitching one. Phenomenal Logan Henderson comes
up midyear for the Brewers and posts a sub for
era big Names. It's the big names Hazus mode. Connor Griffin,
Braiden Montgomery, Thomas Harrington love it. Logan Henderson I think
is a great one. Those are just a few of

(11:38):
the fun breakouts from the Prospect one community. There are
a couple turnovers. I've already told you. Ryan Sloan is
one of them. There's another one that someone said that's
going to show up in there. Would have liked to
have had some you know, Christian Moore was a we
just wasn't a bold prediction one I was going to
put together. But you know, he got sent down to
Double A. I think could be back up soon. That

(12:00):
would have been another fun one. I definitely went a
little bit deeper, and a lot of these guys that
we're going to get on also went a decent amount deeper.
So make sure that you're locked into it. Make sure
also you check out my dear friend Dennis Sidler over
at sidsgrafs. Check it out today, all the great stuff
for the Prospects, and he's actually got some signings coming
up with some major leaguers as well that you're going
to want to be on the lookout for. So go

(12:21):
to sidsgrafs on the social sidgrafs on eBay and the
website and you can check out all the great signings.
Whether you want now to pick up Corbyn, Garyl's stuff,
Chris Sale, Jackson, Churio, Jackson Merrill, or you want to
be on the lookout for some of the cool ones.
He's got very two, very unique ones coming up that
I think people will like. I don't know if I'm
allowed to say them, but they're very, very cool, So
be on the lookout for it. Appreciate Dennis for.

Speaker 5 (12:43):
All of that.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Let's get into the episode, shall we. We are going
to go bop bop bop to all of them. I'm
not going to interject in between, because that's just wasting
everybody's time. So it'll end and it'll go into another one.
We are going to start with Jeff Ponce from Baseball America.
I'm actually going to go in the order that I
recorded these. I actually recorded every single one of these

(13:04):
in the same day, which is weird, just you know,
behind the curtain. In previous years, I might over a
week be like, hey, you know, grab you here, grab
you there. I ended up grabbing all four of these
guys in the same day, across the entire day, and
in this order that I'm going to air them for you.
So we are going to go Jeff Ponce, James Anderson,
Tim Kannak, and then we're gonna end it with Eric Cross.

(13:27):
We've got so, I guess technically with them, we've got
four hitters, four pitchers, eight prospects. When you add mine in,
we are getting ten. So there's your social title for
the episode ten Bold Predictions of Prospects for the twenty
twenty five season with the five of us. So I'll
be interviewing these guys. I think you guys are going

(13:47):
to really enjoy it. So sit back, relax. After this,
we are going to kick to Jeff, then James, then Tim,
and then Eric Cross, and I'll be back to give
mine at the end of the Showy you.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
I like you so much, I'm going to make you
my partner.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
All he has to do is find the gold and
I'll share it with you.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Fifty to fifty prospect.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
He is Jeff Ponce and he's joining me for prospect
Bold Predictions for twenty twenty five. And as I told
Jeff before we started up here, this is the show
that was built off of Jeff Ponce. The house that
Jeff Ponce built is you've joined me for every single
one of these for ever long. I've been doing it
four or five years, where we're looking through different analysts

(14:33):
with one hitter and one pitcher. We've had some big hits,
We've all had some big misses. I remember my Louise.
I had a Louis Medina phase. Jeff, I think we've
all had a Louis Medina phase in our life. You know,
sometimes you just got to get through it in your
early years. But I had a breakout bold prediction Louise
Medina phase. So hopefully we'll do a little bit better
this year.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Yeah, you know it happens. Louis Medina has fulled the
best of the best of us.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Yeah, or a Medina type like that's more that it
is not even about him. Just maybe a Medina type,
a tall, lanky, big, fiery fastball if you could just
figure out the command. Bold predictions are kind of crazy.
We've had a lot of fun with this over the years,
whether it has been talking about stat lines, whether it's
been talking about prospect finishes and where they are, and

(15:20):
we just get to hear from a lot of amazing
people breaking down some of these guys, and obviously Jeff
does it the best over at Baseball America. But Jeff,
if you are ready, let's jump right into this. Let's
start with the hitter, your bold prediction.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Hitter.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
It can be like I said it, you can go
crazy stat line, you can go where they're going to
finish in the top one hundred, number one overall. Whatever
it is. Let's get your hitter bold prediction for twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Sure.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
So I've heard a lot of people thrown out names
around who could be the number one prospect heading into
twenty twenty six. I think, particularly from a fantasy angle,
I'm going to throw that out at Connor Griffin of
the Pirates. So I got multiple looks at Connor Griffin
between backfields as well as the spring breakout game he's

(16:10):
played in, you know, multiple MLB games during spring training.
Made the move to the outfield. I think that's where
he's gonna stick long term. Just from like a composition
standpoint tools, where the swing is at now versus where
it was at a year ago. He is just like
super sequenced now. Everything like in terms of his load,

(16:32):
like everything was not like it wasn't sequenced well, and
like it wasn't kind of stacked over his back leg
as the stride hit forward. Now that's all really cleaned up.
It's a really nice swing. Now he's hitting for power.
I think, you know, the adjustments in the swing path,
et cetera are going to lead to higher quality of contact,

(16:52):
more contact. He's got approach, and this dude is built
like you know, an NFL receiver, tight end like tall,
broad shouldered, strong, incredibly athletic, moves like a gazelle. I
was just so impressed with the tools and just the
overall upside. I updated our FYPD today I have him

(17:14):
the third player in the class, only behind Rokie and
then Cam Smith, who's another one is just you know,
grown by leaps and bounds over the last year. But
I think Connor Griffin, I'm here to tell you, like
some testament. I think he's absolutely the truth, and I
think he has legitimate first round fantasy upside. This looks

(17:35):
like a thirty to thirty player potentially. And he was
just a man amongst all boys in the backfield. I mean,
you've seen enough backfield games in your time where there
are certain guys that just stick out, and the reason
that they do is they're just surefire major leaguers. And
I think sometimes in like those kind of environments where
it's a little bit more intimate and you know, the

(17:55):
games are different than they are in a structured mine.
On the environment, the town, I want, the ability of
those guys just really shines. I mean, he hit a
triple to the wall last Wednesday when I was in
Pirate City, and I mean he just got he he
was standing up getting a third base, the ball came
in relatively quickly. He just moves that well and there's

(18:17):
power in that swing. And I think the fact that
you know, there's no questions about the position moving to
center field where his skills, his tools are going to play.
I think this is a true five tool prospect and
a potential five category contributor in fantasy. So my bold
prediction Conor Griffin going to be the number one prospect
into twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
I love that it harkens me back to probably the
greatest rookie ball in the history of rookie ball. And
now obviously I'm biased because I was there and there's
probably much better, but I think I want to say
it was the two thousand and nineteen rookie ball where
it was and I could have the date wrong, but
you would. Bobby Witt Junior, CJ Abrams, Corbyn, Carrol Marco, Luciano,

(18:58):
Luis Mantos. They were all here playing rookie ball and
it was one of those things where it was like
you were able to go to a game and you
could see a man amongst boys at every single one
of these and it was like, you know, I mean
the track record of panning out was pretty incredible. Connor
Griffin is super interesting too, because I was really torn.

(19:18):
You know, there's so many college bats out of this
last draft class and then he had, like the two
guys you had, Connor Griffin and Bryce rayn are both
just kind of sitting there as the high school guys.
There's part of me that like the bat. At that time.
I liked Rayner a little bit more. He put up
some big ev in spring training here. It was just questions,
like you were saying. It was like, all right, it
is the swing a little bit messy, what's going to

(19:40):
be the power? Ultimately with Griffin, he's a big monster.
He can run like the wind, like, but like, what
will it work out to be? And I think some
of that even maybe translated kind of like with how
people treated Walker Jenkins even though you know summer high
summer low. But to your point, the changes were really
dramatic year over year where swing overhauled, tapping into power

(20:03):
left and right, consistent barreling. And that's been the big
change of Connor Griffin. I didn't know you had him
at three from the first year player class.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
That is a really really.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Big move in a big testament. But if you say
he's the number one guy, like I buy it, and
I buy the changes that he's made to now be
above Bryce Rayner. But I'll openly say I was Rainer
over Griffith.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Yeah I was too. I still like Raynor Rayner actually
moved up.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
And it wasn't really an update as much as it
was sort of like a post mortem, like final, like
where do things stand as we head into spring, because
we've been ranking this class out now for six months
yeah or more so, you know, I think for me,
the thing with Rainer is it's like it's a really
good prospect. The hit tool super advanced, it's a really

(20:45):
balanced swing, but like it is and it's and it's
a tired arc you know, sort of comparison, but like
it is that Corey Seeger kind of archetype where it
is you know left you know, left hand and hitting
good contact, good power. You know, he's a hitter with power,
not really a power hitter, which is good. He's gonna

(21:07):
get on base, He's going to be fine sticking on
the left side of the dirt because of his arms released,
his actions. Is he the most rangey shortstop?

Speaker 1 (21:14):
No?

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Is he going to run a ton No, there's still
some more projection left in the frame. But I just think, like,
you know, you're you're sort of comparing a Seeger versus now.
I know he's a center fielder probably now, but like
a Bobby Wit sort of ceiling and I think that's
what Griffin presents and fantasy. That's honestly, like, that's that's

(21:36):
the difference between being you know, a third to sixth
round type of pick and being a first, second round
type of pick. Consistently. I just think it's that speed,
it's that upside. I think he's gonna crack the Pirate's
curse a little bit. So yeah, it took me a
few looks on both to kind of be like, yeah,
I think I think just the upside on Griffin is
just higher. As much as I do like Bryce Rayner.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
And would move him up like a.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
You know, a more global list that includes you know,
top one hundred hundred, three hundre four and five hundred
prospects over many prospects you want a rank, I would
move rain Or up the rankings as well. It's just
Griffin would leap Frogham and take a pretty substantial jump.
I think he's a top ten ish prospect frankly, just
based on what the upside is. I know it's aggressive.
I just think you look at the track record, you

(22:22):
look at the skills, you look at this arc type
of player. They typically project pretty strongly not only the
game helium and value throughout the season, but move a
little bit faster than your typical high school player. And
I think moving off of shortstop might even you know, uh,
accelerate that path a little bit. I don't think he's

(22:43):
going to be up in the big leagues like breaking
camp next.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Nech spring, but it wouldn't mind.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
It wouldn't shock me if he hangs around in Pirates
camp a little bit longer, and then you know, we
do see him at some point in twenty twenty six.
I think as long as the swing changes the upside
all the stuff that I was seeing in per send
the production that I saw. If that continues, I don't
see any reason that he's not going to just it's,
you know, send up lists and be a name that
everybody's really going to hone in on.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Yeah, I think it's it's actually I'm actually really happy
to hear you say that the move accelerates some stuff,
because I feel the same way. I felt like there
was a little because you know, you sometimes have these
prospects that are like, hey, we're this position, the team
is going to let them be here as long as possible,
and then we got to make the move, and sometimes
that transition can be a little bit tougher. They're just
doing it right now, and hey, be on the lookout.

(23:31):
Pirates have done a really great job in their pitching
development and overall development is something that we hope can
trickle down more in the hitting department. And Connor Griffin
might be a guy we see in the Arizona Folly
this coming year this year, and you know, that could
be the start of the trajectory of pushing him. We
saw some teams locally, the Padres. You know, you send
eighteen year olds they sent Solas, they sent Leo DeVries.

(23:53):
We see that happen might be different for a team
that's you know, not in Arizona for spring training to
do that, but it's also not of the realm of
possibility if they wanted to push that. So Connor Griffin
number one prospect in baseball. Bold prediction. Let's go to
the pitching mister, Jeff Ponce. Let's get a bold prediction
for a pitcher in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Yeah, I'm gonna throw it out there that I think,
you know, one Valera is going to be easily a
top one hundred prospect, probably in the first half of
this season.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
It's one.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Valera, right handed pitcher from the Red Sox. Debuted state
side last year. Pitched extremely well in the Florida Complex League.
Had nine starts, eleven appearances sub to e er you know,
struck out a bout a batteran inning. Those numbers, terms
of strikeouts actually improved as he moved up to Low

(24:47):
A Salem. Made seven starts there. Pitched pretty well, big body,
you know, six'. Three he's listed like two, hundred probably
might be closer to like two fifteen two twenty added some.
Muscle in the, offseason velocity was just sitting high, nineties
which is up a little bit from last year where
it was kind of mid tigh tons of secondary stuff

(25:09):
that's really. Good Josh norris posted one of his change.
UPS i think the clocked in at like ninety three
ninety four miles an, hour and you, KNOW i mean
it's that was like six or seven miles an hour
off of the fastball with a ton of armside, run you,
know as.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
A good breaking.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
BALL i think as long as he's consistently throwing, strikes
this stuff is just going to dominate a ball. Hitters
it wouldn't shock me if he returns To salem probably
to start the, year maybe spends a month, there and
then you, know is up In greenville sometime In May
june and might even touch DOUBLE a by the end

(25:47):
of the. Season just kind of looking at How Red
sox prospects, have you, know sort of moved up the.
CHAIN i think they have a lot of pitching talent
in that system that's kind of being a little bit.
UNDERRATED i think we're going to see better seasons From Conley,
early whose velocity was, Up Peyton tolly stuff in the
backfields was, insane like sitting mid nineties up to ninety

(26:08):
seven miles an, hour eight feet of, extension and he
averaged seven point six last, year so that's only up a.
Tick but he's a huge body guy that was a
two way player now you, know fully committed to pitching
in a pro development. System he's really interesting as. Well
BUT i Think.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
Grandick clark was another one. TOO i, thought, LIKE i
didn't know that would pop up here BECAUSE i know
he was. HITTING i think there might be some relief in.
There hit few times for.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
Me it's a big.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
SLIDER i have no idea on the, strikes not a
ton of track. Record juco. Guy he might be a
slower burn definitely a name to keep.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Himseld is that Our Luis, medina that's Our Luis. Media,
ye it's he's a lefty, though that's up to, yeah
like a big fastball. Command, yeah, yeah. Exactly.

Speaker 4 (26:52):
SO i Think, valera, though is going to be the
guy if he's a name that's kind of out there
in leagues where there's two hundred or so prospects rostered
and you're willing to take on a pitching, prospect particularly
in like head to head formats or points. FORMATS i
Think valera is definitely worth a flyer and going and
grabbing him now BECAUSE i think you just look at

(27:13):
the numbers last, year he was really, productive even in you,
know his short, tenure those seven starts in LOW. A
he's going to return to. That he's eighteen Until. May
he's still really. Young it's already very, physical already has the,
stuff has some. PITCHABILITY i think that stuff's only going
to improve and get. Better so as long as he stays,
HEALTHY i think this is going to be a guy
that's on like every top one hundred list by the

(27:35):
end of next.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
SEASON i love. It and No homer in there. EITHER
i Mean Red, sox we get, it but there are
some Big Red sox a little piraty right now with
the development of the pitching what they're, doing and they've
had it. ROBUST i mean, ALSO i think if they
still had Like, winkleman you, know they trade him to
The White, side like that system just be.

Speaker 4 (27:53):
Loaded with it or a healthy, paralysis you, know.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Yeah, yeah that's exactly, right all, right so lera top
one hundred. Prospect we've Got Connor, griffin number one hitting.
Prospect there's some pretty Great bold, predictions my. Friend you
guys can check out all of the other predictions and
ranks and incredible Workover Baseball america With jeff and the. Team,
jeff you're off the hot seat for The bold. Predictions
we'll check back on those next. Year appreciate your, time my.

(28:19):
Friend thanks a lot man Prospect what.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Rodo?

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Wires James Anderson Bold? Predictions who else Than James. Anderson
we're gonna get a, hitter we're gonna get a, picture
and we're gonna see how bold we can. Go and,
uh you know how? RIGHT i don't. KNOW i was
talking To jeff about, This. James it's it's tough because
it's like when you singularly hone in on like a

(28:44):
hitter and then a pitcher and you want to go.
Bold we get, big big hits and big misses on
these sometimes because we are like really really focusing in
and you, know the Old i've had some big misses on,
those The Luis medina's of the, world AS i had Met.
Jeff but let's get into. It let's talk about what
you got going. Down hitters and, pictures by the, way

(29:05):
more than anything, else how about trying to finalize the
top four hundred prospects or five hundred prospects that you
do over In rodo wire going into the start of
the season and then knowing that you're going to just
trash all of it in like weeks as the season
starts and you start having to react to the actual.

Speaker 7 (29:23):
Season, yeah it was a lot of fun finishing the
most recent updates to The top four. HUNDRED i put
that up On, friday so that's less than a week.
Old feels like a more Complete top four hundred than
The january. One but you're, also like you, said you're
kind of trying to factor in some small sample stuff

(29:43):
that's happened in the last few. Weeks so, yeah it'll
be back to the drawing board in a couple months
for that next. Update but it feels great to have
it freshen in the books and mostly still.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Relevant, yeah, exactly and we get to actually react to some,
real like counting minor. Stuff Where TRIPLE a is, starting
we'll get the lower. Levels rookie ball starts sooner than,
ever it's like a month after the season, starts so
we'll we'll have a lot of like in season reactions
and to see where our ranks and our bold predictions
actually take place in. Here so let's kick into. It

(30:17):
let's not waste any, Time. James we will start with
the pitcher for. You so bold prediction starting pitching prospect
for twenty twenty. Five be it, statistical be it. Rank
however you want to approach the bold, prediction who is
it and what's the?

Speaker 7 (30:32):
Prediction so my prediction is The Grant tailor of The
White sox finishes the year as a top twenty five
prospect and a top five pitching.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Prospect all, right let's break it. Down that is very
bold as. WELL i Love Grant. Taylor i've seen him
for a long, time went to quite a bit Of
White sox camp earlier this. Year he's always, Funny he's
always got the football with him taken to the. Backfields
but that really stands out as well if people are
not piecing that. Together do you Have Noah schultz and

(31:05):
you have Got Hagen. Smith So i'm. CURIOUS i want
to hear the breakdown of what gets us there With
Grant Taylor and is this at all an assumption that
Both hagen And Noah schultz have graduated or are they
still a part of that because that is a very
very good bold take On Grand.

Speaker 7 (31:22):
Taylor, YEAH i Think schultz will have. GRADUATED i don't
Think Hagan smith will have. Graduated, so you, know some
combination of Like Hagen, Smith Chase, Burns Thomas, White Travis.
SIKORA i Think Grant taylor beats out like two of
those five to be a top three pitching. Prospect so
it could be him And Hagen smith And Chase burns

(31:44):
or something like, that but.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
You know it's.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
NOT i have a couple cops For, taylor but they're
not pitcher. Comps they're more pitching prospect like where they were,
ranked how quickly they ascended type of. Comps, okay and
he reminds me a lot of back in twenty, Seventeen
Jesus lozardo And Walker. Buehler they're both coming back from
like they're heading into their first full season back From

(32:09):
Tommy john. Surgery but they've already put they've already put
up really impressive tiny sample numbers down but the price
is still low because they've barely. Pitched and then that
year they both ascend to you, know become elite pitching
prospects because they're, healthy they're ready to get stretched. Out
SO i Think Grant, taylor this is the year that
he could do. That he's got all the. Pitches he's

(32:29):
done nothing but throw enough strikes in these small. Samples
so it's just a matter of him staying healthy and stacking.
Innings AND i think just the type of, player the
type of pitcher he, is the age where he's at
in his, development, LIKE i think he could move really
quickly to the upper levels of the.

Speaker 3 (32:46):
Miners.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
YEAH i don't disagree with that, too because he has
spent so much time at the complex with the injuries
and just kind of re vamping THAT i do think
they would push. This it's also The White. Sox it
would behoove. Them the future of that rotation Is, Schultz
smith And Grant taylor and getting all of those guys
kind of around the same time to Develop together's, interesting

(33:09):
big power. Fastball wouldn't be surprised this, year you, know
this year and how aggressive they you, know coming back from.
Injury they're pressing. Everything Grant taylor top would you, say
top five sp top twenty five overall, Prospect, yes, SIR
i love. IT i want to, start like BUT i
mean you kind of already did. IT i wanted to be,

(33:29):
like all, right this guy or this, guy but you've
already kind of gone. There let me see IF i
can get, One, Okay Thomas, Harrington, Well Thomas harrington's gonna
be graduated With Thomas harrington Or Grant taylor just for
s's and.

Speaker 7 (33:42):
G's, YEAH i, Mean i've Got harrington ranked about twenty
five spots ahead Of taylor right. NOW i do Think
harrington will graduate in the next two to three months,
probably but they're very different types of. PICTURES i could.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
SEE i can.

Speaker 7 (33:57):
Picture a lot of my readers and describers Wanting taylor
Over harrington because all they care about is. Upside so,
like if that's, you if all you care about his,
Upside Grant taylor Over. HARRINGTON i Think harrington's a fantastic
pitching prospect and he's basically, ready so that would be
a not in his. Favor but, YEAH i could see

(34:17):
if if all you're about is hunting, aces, hunting you,
know big time prospects that you can then flip for,
Something Grant taylor would be the.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Guy, yeah and. Yeah the other last thing on this
what's interesting is like the top. End i'm just looking
at like my ranks of, pitchers they all could be.
Off Like i'm looking at like my top like six or,
seven and it's. You you kind of said it, before
you Said Chase. Burns Chase burns is in theory would
be my number one pitching. Prospect maybe halfway through the.

(34:46):
Year all these guys you, know from The Bubba chandlers
and The schultz And painters a little difficult because they're
not gonna let him. Go but by the end of the,
season it's like my top five, sps they're going to
be off that. List and then there's some guys in
the middle of, there you, know You, Quinn matthews and.
Stuff they could be. Gone so it really is this
open forum of LIKE i have the same, thing it'd
be Like, Burns, Hagen, socora and then you have to

(35:10):
move further down Maybe Thomas. White like it's kind of
an open platform for sps to jump. Up And Grant
taylor's a great pick for. That so, well, THANKS i like. That,
YEAH i like that. One hopefully stay, yeah, exactly all,
right AND i like that you attached to top five
sp top twenty. Five let's talk about the hitter, Though
so your bold prediction hitter for twenty twenty five name

(35:33):
and what realm we're going to move?

Speaker 7 (35:35):
To, Okay, yeah SO i think The i've always struggled
more with the hitters than the pictures for this exercise
over the, years just BECAUSE i think it's really hard
for a hitting prospect to be like. Sneaky it's it's
tough for them to be. Undervalued BUT i Think Ryan
waldschmidt of The, Diamondbacks i've got him as sort of you,

(35:56):
know he's inside my top one hundred right, now but
he's just just. INSANE i think he finishes the year
as a top twenty five, prospect doesn't, graduate doesn't get
to the big, leagues but has a fantastic year probably you,
know starts at HIGH, a maybe spends the bulk of
the year at DOUBLE, a and is looking, like you,

(36:17):
know someone kind of in The Saya suzuki type of,
mold where you know it's not thirty, steals it's not thirty,
homers but you know he could go twenty five, homers twenty,
steals something like, that.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
Good, average GOOD.

Speaker 7 (36:32):
Obp so not not a guy who's going to be
like a top five prospect or a top ten.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
PROSPECT i don't, think.

Speaker 7 (36:38):
BUT i Think Ryan waltschman will finish the.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Year is a top twenty.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Five and now it's not hard to, do but that
would in theory vault him to being the number one
Overall Diamonds backs prospect because we would Assume Jordan lawler
year three is the. TIME i guess he will get
him off and he'll graduate and be, done and then
you're just kind of vying For with The, diamondbacks it's
just a bunch of. Outfielders it's you, know where To Slade.

(37:02):
Caldwell i'm obviously a Big slade. Guy where Does Drew jones?
Develop Dimitrio croissantis is kind of, interesting but it's kind
of like this open. Space so this would make him
the number, one number One Arizona diamondbacks. Prospect let me
throw a couple of names that you then by at
the end of this, Season Ryan waldschmidt Or Jason.

Speaker 7 (37:22):
Cheerio, YEAH i, mean those guys can both go sort
of as high as they want based on how they
performed this. YEAR i WOULD i wouldn't put like a
ceiling on either, guy BUT i THINK i Think waldschmidt
will have a more prolific season and just kind of
force his way Past, cheerio but you know we're Still

(37:44):
any of these years could be the year That cheerio
hits another level as a power, Hitter and if that ever,
happens he's just gonna skyrocket up.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
During, yeah one of the things also as a college
bat has working For Ryan. Waldschman all, right we'll do
one more and this is a fun one end of,
Season Ryan waldschmidt Or Charlie. Condon, WELCH i just wanted
to hear you say. IT i knew it was going
to be. THERE i just wanted to hear you say.
It charlie with the, injuries has already kind of. Hurt
if you were doing a first year, WELL i guess

(38:13):
you kind of answer. That if you're doing a first
year player like this, moment just tick Walds schmidt Over,
condon or would you try to risk like Thinking walshmi
could come.

Speaker 7 (38:21):
Back, YEAH i Mean i've Got waltschmid about eight spots
ahead Of condon right, Now so, YEAH i. WOULD i
would take Wals schmidt AND i would not really worry About.
CONDON i would assume he'd probably already be, gone but
HOPEFULLY i could just Get walshman out of.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
THAT i love. It what did we, Say top twenty
five prospect did you, say, YEAH i love. It you're
speaking to my. HEART a man of my heart with
The Arizona diamondbacks bold prediction Always James anderson the best out.
There i'll find him over on roto. Wire top four
Hundred prospect update is already out there in. Season stuff
is going to be. Going and then when do you

(38:56):
when's the plan for the four hundred update over on
roade wire for you at a couple? Months is, it? Like
what's the Typical is it like end Of, may like
the beginning Of.

Speaker 7 (39:03):
JUNE i try to get it done Before Memorial day
weekend BECAUSE i always go up with my family to
my parents For Memorial day, weekend SO i want to
get it done before we leave. Town so, yeah LATELY.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
I was about to say, like, oh what are you
going to see your? Parents And you're, Like i'm going
to work on the top four hundred While i'm, here
SO i don't have to. Interact some people would want
to have. That you're a good guy in spending time
with the. Family hopefully you'll be spending some time with
me this year On prospect one as Always james my.
Bestie thank you so, much great bold predictions and we'll
talk to you next. Time right here IN p, one

(39:39):
thanks By. Prospect why he Is Tim Kannak fantasy Ace
ball back in the house to talk about some bold.
Predictions here is a bold prediction for everybody to think,
about will his pitcher or hitter be a? Cardinal that's
the big key to test, Here, tim what's?

Speaker 1 (39:58):
Somebody, hey you KNOW i purposefully avoided, that SO i
made the little swoopy curve away from the team bias.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
THING i kind of try to do the same, thing
like you, know you're tempted. To i'll do the same
thing with The. Diamondbacks If i'm like heavily heavily convicted into,
It i'll lay. In but If i'm, like you, KNOW
i really like this guy blah blah, Blah i'll try
to do the same. Thing it's the same thing in
like Redraft fantasy. Baseball IF i cannot talk about Like
Brandon fott Or Corbyn, CARROLL i try not to because
people are, like here we go, again and try to avoid.

(40:30):
That but we are continuing the. Series another great, Analyst Tim,
kanak with a bold prediction on a hitter and a.
Pitcher i've told you you're giving the floor to either
put some statistical side to, this or you can do,
ranks as people have been kind of going with the.
Ranks So, tim let's jump right. In i'm gonna let
you choose hitter or picture that you want to start

(40:52):
with bold prediction for twenty twenty five for this. Prospect
who it, is why and what realm of that bold
prediction are we talking?

Speaker 6 (41:02):
About all, Right so we're starting off with a.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
Hitter AND i think that, people based on when we
did the p one, ADPs have been sleeping on this
guy a little, bit especially for the ridiculous statistics that
he put. Up But i'm going With Cole carrig And
i'm going to see That Cole kerrig finishes the season
as a top twenty. Prospect AND i, mean the dude
already had seventeen bombs fifty three seals last, year former,

(41:29):
catcher so he had catcher. Eligibility The rockies have already
come out and said that he's going to be playing
outfield and shortstop this. YEAR i think that he climbs the,
ranks and if he starts doing, this you know seventeen.
Fifty if he goes twenty, fifty WHICH i think he can,
do and he's an older, dude you, know he's twenty.
Three but if he can go twenty fifty at DOUBLE,

(41:50):
a then everyone is going to finally pay attention to.

Speaker 6 (41:53):
Him and the thing Is.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
Rockies, prospects, Right, LIKE i feel like everyone is so
sick Of rockies probably. Aspects right. Now we Had Zach
vine as the next great. Thing we Have Charlie condon,
hurt so there's almost like everyone is just sick Of
rockies prospects sweeps from the. Side But Cole kerrig is
the one to watch. HERE i think that his hit
tool and his athleticism is superior To Zach. Vine so

(42:18):
if you want like the Better Zach, vine then you
want to Go Cole krrig, here, right and plus you're
gonna get the short step. Eligibility plus he's a switch.
HITTER i think that he could Be Jaron duran on
The rockies as a fantasy contributor for your. Team So
Cole CARAG i think top twenty. Prospect now that's not.
Bold i'm gonna say top, fifteen top fifteen prospect by

(42:39):
the end of the.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
Year cole Cag i'm down with. That i'm down with.

Speaker 5 (42:41):
That.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
Yeah here his one hundred and fifty one career games
across two. Seasons he's put up twenty two, homers sixty
six dolen, bases and hit two ninety. Nine that's all
on a, full like essentially a full major league. Season
the thing is working against him the most is whatever's
going on in his. HEAD i talked about this last

(43:03):
year that he was of all THE i, MEAN i
have some of the. Details i'm not going to, say
BUT i have like all of. It but, essentially he
was sent down to the rookie. Level he was sent
down because of some let's just call it maturity. Stuff
there were some maturity, things and he was sent down
while he was killing it last. Season like it wasn't,

(43:25):
like oh, man he's really. Struggling, no he had, homer stolen,
bases he had some absurd, numbers AND i think there
was some maturity stuff and they sent him down for
four games down in rookie ball to get, right which
you know he continued. Doing but regardless of all of,
it to your, point he just keeps. Going And i've
been talking About Cole keerrig since day, one because he

(43:46):
came out with their little crew out here to rookie
ball in twenty twenty, three it was, him it Was
Kyle carros and, Man i'm forgetting the other person that
was out. Here all of these guys were out here
and cole Kerrig shine he caught for a. Week he
played in the, outfield he can play in the. Infield
he is a true across the field. Guy AND i
completely agree that long, term as long as like Cole

(44:09):
kerrigg's head doesn't get TO i, Mean Zach veen isn't
exactly the most, like you, know level headed guy either
with some, stuff but Cole kergg is like the total
package of a. Prospect so, Yeah i'm kind of with
you On i'm with you on the talent. Level and
you said like he could do Twenty he such it
was twenty fifty last. Year he had seventeen, homers fifty

(44:29):
three stolen. Bases he just did it at lower, levels
which you're alluding. To so if he repeats, it we're
going to be on like another level with a guy
like Cole. Kerrog so, yeah this is a really hard
one Because, ROCKIES i think brings people down a little
bit if you know about the maturity, issues that brings it.
Down AND i think people are waiting for a kid that,
is by the, way going to turn twenty three and

(44:51):
be in DOUBLE a at the beginning of the. SEASON
i think they want a little bit more out of.

Speaker 3 (44:55):
It BUT i.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
DON'T i don't think from a fantasy, perspective this is
completely out of. Pocket so down with you going top. Fifteen.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Yeah he also has the defensive aspect, too because apparently
he can throw one hundred and two miles per.

Speaker 6 (45:06):
Hour so if you Think Mason win has an.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
Arm if this guy plays shortstop or you, know center
field and he's throwing one hundred and two mile power,
rockets that is.

Speaker 6 (45:16):
Amazing he is going to. Play it's like A.

Speaker 1 (45:18):
Rael it's like the Said rafaela aspect almost where it's
like it's okay if you strike out a few, times you, know,
like as long as you give us that baller defense
and you're also bringing power and speed to the table
at the same, time we'll take. It and that is
valuable for fantasy because if you are that good, defensively
that means that scene is not going to platoon you
and you're going to be in that.

Speaker 2 (45:35):
Lineup, yeah and he did. That it was THE Mlb
Draft combine and twenty, THREE i believe it. WAS i
wasn't there that day BECAUSE i did go to. THAT
i think it was that, one or maybe it was
twenty twenty, two BUT i he. Was he threw one
hundred and one at from shortstop and he got The
Mason win comparisons as a guy that can throw like
a hundred from. There so it's an all around crazy

(45:57):
tool set for a guy that is not on a
lot of. Radar And i've GOT i, MEAN i have
him as the top one. HUNDRED i don't know where
other people have been at with, him to be honest with,
you but that's a really interesting. One so top fifteen
by the end of the. Year cole carrog all, right
let's move to you the pitching. Side here bold prediction
for one prospect starting pitcher or pitcher for twenty twenty.

(46:19):
Five you know the. Drill who do we?

Speaker 1 (46:20):
GOT i Have Connor. PRELIP i think That Connor prelip
by the end of the. Season, FIRST i think he's
going to be the majors but set by the end
of the. Season but, SECOND i think that he is
going to work his way up to being a top
five starting pitcher, prospect so top five pitching. Prospect he
last year only pitched twenty three in the third, innings

(46:42):
but he was coming off of. Surgery but he had
a thirty seven point FOUR came minus wall, crate a
ridiculous over twenty four percent swinging striker over in thirty
eight PERCENT csw during these, innings big, lefty three quarters of.
Armslot he was also pretty impressive this. SPRING i don't
know if anyone caught any highlights of him this, spring
but he's also very impressed to this. Spring there was

(47:02):
between ninety four ninety six ridiculous, slider decent change up
and like WHEN i watch, him like WHEN i put
when when WHEN i think of a comp for, HIM
i put shades Of Johan santana in my prospect rankings
WHEN i did my rankings of. Him and because he
was hurt, people he is not on anyone's, Radar like
this is a guy that you can pretty much pick

(47:23):
up in any dynasty league except for like if you
have the sharpest. People just because he was, hurt he
was not around people talked about him being like the
first Overall pitcher before his injury and during the draft
when he's gonna get, picked people thought he was gonna
go number. One he got hurt and then Had Tommy
john in internal brace. SURGERY i, think, uh and now

(47:43):
he's healthy and was killing. It SO i am all
aboard The Connor prelip. Bandwagon plus The twins are very
good at developing, Pictures like we have a nice track
record of The. Twins you, know even even Like Simon
Woods richardson is like an, okay like you, know mid
rotation starter or. Whatever the issue may be trying to
find room for him because their rotation is so. Good

(48:04):
but if The twins really are going to be caught cutting,
costs like they could trade A Pablo lopez and still
find a way to fit In Zebbie, Matthews David festa
And Connor, Prelip like they could trade some of those guys,
off clear some cap, room you, know like clear some
money off the.

Speaker 6 (48:18):
Table and then all of a, sudden you have room
for these young guns to be in that. Rotation, yeah that.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
Was the THING i was gonna, say is like the
problem is is they've just got too many guys that
are floating out there and that's not even like THE
i guess those are kind of the now Guys connor
prelip kind of like in a Cold. Carraguay the only issue,
is you, know age two level at this. Point but
it's miss. Time like you, said you know The Tommy
john that kind of brought him. Back he ONLY i
think he got To hia or is that HIGH a

(48:43):
he's going to be twenty four years old into this
season THAT i guess he's twenty three for the majority
of the. Year that they're just, like he's got to
get tested a little bit. More but WHAT i was
saying is this entire. Organization they've Gotten zebbie and they
Got festa that are above they Like paddock right, Now
they've got some in woods they've got and that's not
counting the big, three you, know that's not Counting, Joe,

(49:03):
Ryan pablo And. Bailey so if they, consolidate there's definitely
some interesting stuff they can. Do but the system is
built pretty. Big and IF i, remember we've kind of
prelip remember watching him in college that pre lip some
good spin. Numbers it's a great. Slider he's. Deceptive he's
just missed so much significant. Time but you, know he
did get some innings last, year big, strikeouts good, results

(49:26):
had a pretty solid. SPRING i don't think we see
him this, year even though. AGE i think he's got
to build. Up that's my big thing with. Him it's,
LIKE i think they have to build up innings And
i'm not. Sure maybe things are different if they're in
like a really close to competitive like penet race or,
something BUT i feel like they're gonna need to build
him up for the, year AND i kind of wouldn't

(49:48):
be surprised actually if we Saw Condor prilip in The
Arizona Fall. League i've mentioned this in one of the
other interviews we did, here but like this might be
a guy that you, know they kind, of you, know
pace those innings, up get him to The Fall league
to build him up on a really big work schedule
so then you can push him next. Year and then
to your, point if the team struggles this, year guys
Like prelip And Zebi matthews are gonna make it easier

(50:10):
for them if they do want to consolidate and trade
off like A Pablo lopez or. Whatever let me ask you,
This connor Pre lip or Tink Hen's.

Speaker 6 (50:22):
I'm GONNA.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
I want to Go Tin kent, still you gotta hit
My cardinals bias. HERE i just, YEAH i have to
Go Team kent's. HERE i think That hens's ceiling is
just so. High he needs to stay. Healthy the thing
is Like prelip now is. Healthy so it's, like do
you want to go with the guy that is, Like,
okay he had his surgery out of the, way boom boom,

(50:46):
boom brush it. Away, okay we're gonna, go or or
you're going with the guy who's like consistently hurt with
random things and like just can't stay on the. Field so,
LIKE i think That hence has a really high ceiling
BECAUSE i think Ten kent's could Be Dylan ceas And
Dylan he's is really really. Good but that's a close,
one that's very close to. ME i think Though prelip

(51:08):
the way to think about, Him.

Speaker 6 (51:09):
Oh you, know he was. Hurt he's a little.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
Older Quinn matthews was the same age As prelip now
with zero innings pitching The miners at this time last. Year,
Yeah prelip has already pitched In HIGH a and has
already had, success so he's almost like got a leg
up on The Quinn matthews of last.

Speaker 6 (51:26):
Year SO i think it's, possible.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
Even if you, Know prelip can't break their rotation because
they don't trade enough guys or, WHATEVER i think it's
possible that if The twins are in, it they might
bring him up just to pitch in the bullpen at
the end of the season with an eye on him
being a rotation piece in twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
Six so top five sp end of, year that's what we're. Saying,
yeah pretty big called top. Boy would they be like
top twenty, five thirty spends how many pictures you probably?

Speaker 6 (51:53):
Rank probably thirty thirty five?

Speaker 1 (51:56):
Ish you know, ME i like my, pictures SO i
do expect, obviously like guys Like Joe, Painter Quinn, matthews
we already mentioned those guys are all gonna be gone
at that, point so it will be easier to move
up with.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
It, yeah we talked about that earlier. Too that was
another discussion of like the amount of pitchers that are
gonna come. Off it really is like an open season
for you, know the pitching market and who the top
five and the top ten. Are so there you. Go
Cole carrig And connor. Prelip probably names you did not,
expect but those are some good bold predictions for twenty twenty.

(52:29):
Five Tim kanak is off the hot seat and check
him over at Ace.

Speaker 7 (52:32):
Ball.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
Tim thank you, brother great bold. Predictions we'll talk to
you next. Time see you. Prospect how bold will he?
Go we're about to find. Out it Is Eric cross
from the tool. Shed my boy are cropping very good
flow today, too by the, way watching on YouTube on the,
clip it's a very very good hair. DAY i have
a lot of respect for the high. SWOOP i get

(52:55):
a lot of flak for, it But i'm a big
high swoop. Guy Eric cross in the. House we're talking
about a pitcher and a. Hitter you can find him
over on the twitters at Air cross M I lb.
Across what's that?

Speaker 3 (53:07):
Buddy oh that much? Man how you?

Speaker 2 (53:09):
Doing i'm in ninety seven degree weather and you got
snowed out. Yesterday we were gonna record yesterday and there
was a snowstorm that took you. Away it is almost
one hundred degrees already In.

Speaker 5 (53:19):
Arizona, yeah we had what we like to call false
spring up, here where it's usually right around Mid, march
where you're, like, oh it's getting warmer. Out you, know
we're done with the, snow And Mother nature's, like, haha
jokes on. You here's one last storm and that was
that was, Yesterday so it wasn't, like you, know huge,
storm but still just just enough to be a pain
in the butt and make things all slushy and nasty

(53:41):
for a little.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
Bit wouldn't it be called spring, fall not false, spring
because it's spring like fall in the? Spring?

Speaker 3 (53:48):
Oh no false f a l se false oh false?
Spring you?

Speaker 5 (53:52):
Fit you think springs here and in winter's behind you
and then you get one last little well that's a
hurrah with some.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
Snow that makes a lot more since my, friends all,
right let's no more. Snow prospect time hitters and. Pitchers
let's start with a hitter for. YOU i think we've
done quite a few of the pitching at the. END
i don't. KNOW i feel like everybody gets more. EXCITED
i get more excited about the. Hitting to be honest with,
YOU i feel like more people get way more excited
about the pitching side of these bold. Predictions but we'll

(54:18):
see how bold you are willing to. Go we have
gone from a number one overall prospect to guys that
are in you, know a lot of top one, hundreds
being inside the top five at their, position a lot
of that fun. Stuff so let's see aircross your twenty
twenty five, hitter bold, prediction the, name the reason, why
and you know where the prediction is going to take.

Speaker 5 (54:40):
Them, Yeah So i'm gonna go With Eduardo beltray being
a top ten overall prospect For.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
Fantasy I've i've really.

Speaker 5 (54:50):
BEEN i was already kind of high on him entering
the off, season but WHEN i was going through my you,
know team by team, ranking so it could really as you,
know you can really start digging.

Speaker 3 (54:59):
In a bit. More you, know data is all stagging,
it nothing's.

Speaker 5 (55:03):
Changing and WHEN i was going through the twin, System i'm, like,
MAN i Like beltra even a lot more THAN i
THOUGHT i. Did so it's it's a really up high upside.
Profile you, know there's a big time power speed lending
and he showed that. Off he's already hitting the ball
really hard for his. Age he's a good premium athlete as.

(55:23):
Well so like right now you look at like a
plus you, know plus plus power, speed a guy you
know hit tool that's you, know as you can say
with a lot of the guys in THE dsl and
a lot of these. Tools he you, know seventeen eighteen
year old. Prospects the hit tool is THE x. Factor you,
know where does that wind? Up there's some concerns. There
you had a twenty four percent cave right in THE,
dsl which you know isn't terrible in, general but as

(55:45):
a little bit higher than you'd like to see from you,
know a top guy in THE.

Speaker 3 (55:49):
Dsl but he did walk out a good.

Speaker 5 (55:50):
Clip you, know he had eleven home, runs ten steals
in his forty three. Games so he's kind of showcasing
all the skills. There AND i, think you, know he's
a come state, side you, know come to the calm
plux level this, year AND i think you could really
see him shoot up prospect. RANKINGS i MEAN i already
have him back into my top one. HUNDRED i think
he's like eighty five or so in my. RANKINGS i
think you could really see him shoot up even, further

(56:13):
especially if, he you, know if he can keep that
hit the hit, tool you, know improving, it you, know
get the contact rates up a little, bit keep that
k rate in. Check as he gets a little bit you,
know tough for competition this, year and he hits for you,
know decent enough average while still showing that big power speed,
blend AND i think you'll see his stock really take.

(56:34):
Off Seeh i'll, Say Wardo beltray top ten overall. PROSPECTS i,
mean this is.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
HUGE i would, say and be curious on any of
the you can do it on the podcast or any
of the individual VIDEOS i you, know put out on
the in This league, YouTube anyone could, say like who
was the biggest? ONE i would have to probably say
this is the biggest of the bold predictions, here especially you,
know because we had Like Conor griffin going number one.
OVERALL i think that's like a big movid whord Of

(56:58):
beltray definitely. Is but ALSO i think part of it
is The Dominican Winner league push to this high into
getting that high is the tricky. THING i am gun
shy because Of Yaser. MERCEDES i fell.

Speaker 3 (57:14):
Yep, HARD i hear, you, DUDE i do.

Speaker 2 (57:16):
Hard On Yasta. Mercedes in twenty twenty, one thirty stolen
bases he had in forty one games in The Dominican Summer.
League dude hit three p fifty. Five he had four.
HOMERS i mean he showed off some extra base. ABILITY i,
MEAN i think what was the NUMBER a twenty of
his hits were extra base and some of the data
looked really. Good his speed numbers clock like ridiculously, high

(57:40):
and he just. Tanked he stole no. Bases now last
year actually was. BETTER i just want to point out
we're not, done you, know twenty one stolen, bases six,
homers two ninety. Two but LIKE i went really, hard
and it's not fair to just do that with a
lot of. Guys but this is a bigger power hitter
ten eleven, homers ten stolen bases Than Dominican Winner, league

(58:01):
The war Of Dominican. Summerleague i'm sorry the worry would
be as he's coming over also with those strikeout, things
so Like dominican stats carrying over a strikeout concern that's
already there the team and us seeing that and maybe
like you, know HAZUS moni got a little bit. DIFFERENT
i guess What i'm getting at is we're in a

(58:21):
little bit different of a world where it seems like
international And dominican statistic seasons are getting less of an
upside push than they've ever done before because we're all.
Worried you, Know Eduardo quintero with The dodgers has been
in rookie, ball like that guy could be a top
twenty five, prospect but people are holding. Back is, there

(58:42):
like like, like how did you get to the? Determination
like what do you see this season looking? Like for
him to be a top ten it's got to be
a complete. REPEAT i. GUESS i guess it's just like
a little bit more dig in, here because, like are
you worried at all about From Yas mercedes to any
of The dominican translated high valued play years? Working and
what does the stat line look like where he's a

(59:02):
top ten guy for?

Speaker 3 (59:03):
You, Yeah i'll start by, saying, YES i definitely am.

Speaker 5 (59:07):
Worried i'm worried about every single one of, these to
be honest with, there Even Hazer's Mo, day WHO'S i,
know his data is off the charts and he feels
like one of these safer ones if.

Speaker 3 (59:16):
If that's even.

Speaker 5 (59:16):
Possible, yeah but, YEAH i have the same concern about
every SINGLE dsl breakout BECAUSE i was super in On
Yashua mercedes as, well AND i was one who was A.

Speaker 3 (59:26):
Brewers i'm blanking on the, name like a few years.

Speaker 2 (59:28):
Ago Luis, OH i would Say Luis paya, here but before.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
Him this, Year i'm totally liking on the. Name but
there's Jo Free.

Speaker 5 (59:36):
Rodriguez it might have, been there's, been there's there's been a,
handful there's.

Speaker 2 (59:40):
Been we've brought brewers push out a lot of. Them
there's a lot Of one that comes to my mind
Was Christian bettencourt with the or, No Bryan bettencourt with The,
rockies but he was a little bit. Older he had
this like monster Monster Dominican Summer league of. Production but
he was different because he was like nineteen or twenty
at that.

Speaker 5 (59:57):
Level, yeah, Yah i'm y he had a ton of
home runs that but, yeah, yeah, yeah that definitely is a.
Turn LIKE i, said you, know twenty three point eight
percent k, rate that's higher than usually you like to
see from you, know the TOP dsl. Guys so, yeah
that's that's definitely you, know the THE x fractor. Here
BUT i think you could see him go you, know twenty,
twenty you, know or twenty plus twenty plus this, year
and if you can make those adjustments and take that step,

(01:00:20):
FORWARD i mean the twenty twenty you, KNOW i think
he could stay at a top one hundred type of
guy with, that just if he could take that step,
forward you, know produce like a you, know even like
a seventy three to seventy five percent contact right that's
to be anything super, high just solid enough contact skills
and you get that k rate under twenty, percent keep
the walk right above ten. Percent, guys something in that,
RANGE i think you could, see you, know a massive

(01:00:43):
rise up rankings and the top ten. S that's very,
bold but you, KNOW i wanted to go a little
bit bolder this.

Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
Year, HEY i WANT i want it to be. KNOWN
i love, it And i'm not picking at it at
all BECAUSE i think that's. Great this is what this is.
For AND i think the the lole you could easily
and probably pay off. Here you could say top one
hundred And edward a beltre be a top one hundred.
Guy makes. Sense the bold side is him translating over
lowering the strikeout, rate the power speed go if he

(01:01:09):
is A i, mean what what is a eighteen year?
Old if he's an eighteen year old going twenty twenty
between rookie ball and HIGH, a he probably does finish the.
Year is like even a top twenty five. Guy so
it's very this is, very very. Good this is the
truest sense of a bold prediction on the hitting. Side
let's go to. Pitching your twenty twenty five bold prediction

(01:01:30):
for a starting. Pitcher the name and how do we get.

Speaker 5 (01:01:33):
There i'm Going Ryan sloan from The Seattle, mariners top
five pitching prospect at the end of the. Season you,
KNOW i THINK i think The mariners are due to
have a really good pitching. PROSPECT i mean they're very
hit or heavy at the top of their prospect, rankings
And anderson And fromlo And Lazara montes and all of,
them SO i think they're due to have a name

(01:01:54):
jump up, there pitching name jump. Up And i'll go
With Ryan, sloan who was drafted this. Past really strong.
Frame he's got the frame that you look. FOR i
mean he's only eighteen years, old you, know six, four
like two twenty, two twenty, five very very strong frame,
throughout great arm, speed you, know three pitch, micks, fastball,

(01:02:15):
slider change, up shows a great feel versu, changeup all.
Riding and usually you, know these eighteen year old, kids
they don't really they usually they can just, dominate you,
know with the big fastball with that premium velocity you,
know as he was you, know mid nineties touching on
ninety eight in high.

Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
School usually you can get by with. That and then you,
know he had the really good slider as.

Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
Well usually they don't need to go to the change
up too often because they're just dominating with those two.

Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
Pitches the fact that he already you, know he has.

Speaker 5 (01:02:39):
Those two dominant pitches, fastball, slider and the change up
is really good as.

Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
Well he's a great feel for, it you.

Speaker 5 (01:02:45):
Know so he's got those three pitches that he can
attack hitters where that he can miss bats with all
three of, them you, know and then they're in three
different velocity bands, too so and three movement. Profile so
it's really tough to kind of lock in On Ryan.
Sloan AND i think he's got to, be you, know
one of the better strikeout rate arms in the minor

(01:03:06):
leagues this upcoming. Year AND i think he's have one
that's gonna you, know maybe he's like this Year sikora
where it's a low walk rate, too because he's shown you,
know a decent feel for just commanding his entire arsenal in.
GENERAL i, mean he's not like a pinpoint guy by any.
Means but you, know there's really no like massive red
flags in terms like oh there's you, know the strike
throwing is not, there or the fastball command's not. There you,

(01:03:27):
know he could you, know obviously refine those, sure but
you know there's no massive red flags in those areas
like you see with a lot of these younger prep.
Arms so, yeah he if he has all the ingredients
THAT i look for and a you, know prediction like.
This SO i think If slump puts all together this
year and is his first full year in the minor,
leagues you're gonna be talking about him and where we're

(01:03:48):
talking about like A Travis kkora these, days you, know
as a one of the, highest you, know rising pitching
prospects of the. Year so, yeah top ten pitching or
top five pitching. Prospects use me by the end of the.
Year For Ryan sloan of The, MAYOR.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
I had just talked about him on a show and
how you, know getting to see him in camp and
he's just a big physical presence and kind of. Mature you,
know when you're already like you, know hitting high nineties
and commanding that fastball and you're working that change up
and you got three, Pitches like stuff is going in
the right. DIRECTION i Think sloan and Cammin eddi right
now they're like kind of they're like the pinnacle of

(01:04:21):
sub twenty year old. Pitchers AND i think from a rank,
basis it's kind of tough this physical moment because it's
like where you as a rank or. Not, No i'm
talking rhetorically to people as a, valuation where do you
value young high school pitching or sub twenty. Pitching are
you scared that they're gonna Have Tommy? John do you

(01:04:42):
think the sky's the? Limit because these guys really have the.
POTENTIAL i would Say camminedi thrown in there have the
potential to.

Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
Be top five.

Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
Sps if you believe that and your devoid of maybe
some of the, risk those guys should probably be like
top seventy five overall. Prospects if, not they could be
a little bit further down because they are still so
young and they got to move levels and they have
to be. Challenged BUT i think If i'm betting, on,
uh whether it's like a rebuild or, whatever And i'm
betting on like two really young pitching Prospects kimminity And

(01:05:09):
SLOAN i think are like number one and number, two like.

Speaker 5 (01:05:12):
Oh, yeah, yeah, Absolutely AND i, was you, KNOW i
like both of, them you, know WHEN i, started you,
know formulating my you, KNOW fypd rankings last, YEAR i
was very high on both of them from the get,
go BUT i was a bit Higher. Kimminity i'm still
very high in, both BUT i have sense of flip
flopped a little, bit AND i do Have sloan a
little bit ahead my. RANKINGS i have them both in
the vicinity of top one. Hundred i've been kind of
more and more gun shy to push, them you, know super.

Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
High, YEAH i don't have slone as the top one,
Hundred i'll Tell i'm just LIKE i was kind of
beating around the. BUSH i don't have him as the
top one hundred right now because of some of that inherent,
risk BUT i think there's a level of why it's.

Speaker 5 (01:05:44):
Deserved Is, YEAH i THINK i have them both like
the one twenty ish range right. Now but you, know
guys Like sikora AND i could definitely see you, know
both Both Sloan kimminity being you, know top fifty. Overall you, know,
yeah top five to ten pitching prospects by the end
of season for.

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
Sure Bold, predictions my, Friend, airicross you're off the hot,
seat AIR crosslb check them out on the tool shed
and everything else going, on my, Friend thank you so
much for joining and making This Bold prediction show extra.
Spicy thanks, Buddy thanks, man there you. Go thank you
so much to all four of those fine gentlemen for
taking the time out for, me. Especially it's. Weird it's
a good and a bad. Thing i'm, like, HEY i

(01:06:22):
only need you for ten to fourteen or fifteen? Minutes
is that? Cool but then also it's like to set
that time. Aside all of these guys were super easy
to deal, with as they always. Are i'm just very
lucky and very appreciative that people will take the time
for me to do. That AND i think you guys enjoyed.
That and there's some big ones from the number one
overall prospect In Connor griffin potentially to a couple top
five starting pitchers THAT i don't think would be on

(01:06:45):
a lot of people's. Radars i'm going to add to
it just a tiny bit here in just a. SECOND
i want to just throw out a couple of. Things
i'm going to be streaming a little bit more back into.
IT i THINK i haven't quite finalized what it IS
i want to do at least one thing With prospect
one probably looking like On, fridays it might Be patreon.

(01:07:06):
Only but the big THING i want to tell you
about Is i'm doing a live stream on Opening day
From jiujit Time East coast. Time screw me. UP i
Guess it'll be one Pm eastern through five Pm. Eastern
it's like a four hour stream That i'm going to
be on just talking, baseball answering, questions a couple of.
Things i'll be on two hours before the games, kickoff

(01:07:28):
So i'm gonna have like some. Bets i'm also going
to have some raffles where you, know you can like
like you, know ten, bucks you get a spot and
then we'll spin the.

Speaker 3 (01:07:36):
Wheel we have.

Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
FUN i got A Jackson churio autograph. JERSEY i might
do A Bobby witt autograph BAT i got a couple
other fun, things just depends how much people want to do.
It just opening day. Festivities so the first two hours
will be literally just answering your, question talking about bets doing,
those and then the games are gonna kick off And
i'm gonna be hanging. Out i'm gonna have the games
on my. Screens you guys as will will be, Reacting

(01:07:57):
we'll be talking about any of the crazy stuff that's
going on on maybe live. Betting i'll be there for
around four, hours and Then i'm shipping off to Downtown
phoenix For Opening day With cubs and The, diamondbacks meeting
up With bogman And jag and it's going to be
a great. Time but hopefully you guys want to join
me for the opening day, stream and Then i'm going
to finalize What i'm going to be doing throughout the.

(01:08:17):
Year not gonna do anything crazy THAT i can't then
keep up with and THEN i fall apart On BUT
i want to do like maybe maybe A monday and
A friday something like. That Maybe friday Is prospects And
monday is kind of a set the, week and it'll
be On twitch and, YouTube So twitch dot, tv slash
in This, League YouTube dot, com slash in This. League

(01:08:38):
follow me for all the, Stuff but hopefully you guys
want to hang out for the live stream On Opening.
Day i'll have YouTube as A patreon only, thing And
i'll kind of be like really honing in on questions from,
them but it'll also be if you're not part Of
patreon the, twitch you, know you can come and hang
out and do that as. Well so just want to
throw that out all out, there and that similar thing

(01:09:00):
will kind of go on in the, season especially being
able to do like a prospect based. One so we
have eight prospects in the, books let's get to mine
a lot of choices out. There a lot of guys
that you, KNOW i go through And i'm, like, OH
i love this. Guy i'm higher than On felm And,
selston then a lot of PEOPLE i felt Like i've
been higher than. CAGs you go further down the list

(01:09:22):
on quite a. Few i'm still On. BRASINIO i know
a lot of people think that's just a. MIRAGE i get.
IT i understand Why slay called. WELL i think tomorrow
is going to bounce, back you, Know Drew, jones a
little bit Of, homer lots of. Guys you can just
keep pinpointing players THAT i like more than. Others AND
i really think we need to see production to make
some big moves based off of last. Year but two

(01:09:43):
prospects stand out That i'm going to throw into bold,
predictions And i'm gonna start with the. Pitcher Actually i'm
gonna end with the hitter because the hitter ONE i
just really FEEL i know that don't feel confident about
both of, these BUT i really feel confident about the hitter,
one and it's actually a guy THAT i had talked some.
About my pitcher bold prediction for the year Is Robbie

(01:10:05):
snelling will return back to form and by the end
of the year become a top ten pitching prospect in.
Baseball now boldness, ASIDE i can't really answer to. EVERYBODY
i think it is BECAUSE i think he's off a
lot of. LISTS i think he's post one fifty for
a lot of, people maybe post two. Hundred the Reason

(01:10:26):
i'm caveaing it is, because as we've talked about in this,
episode quite a few pictures are going to be off the,
list you, know as we've, Said Rokie, Painter Joe, Locks Bubba, Schultz,
DOLANDER i think those are all locks to be. Off
so there's already a Hand Kamar rocker, gone there's gonna
be a handful of guys that are gonna move up right.
Now to, me that would Become chase Burns, Hagen, Smith
Quinn matthews might be Off Travis. Sikora so let's just say,

(01:10:48):
Burns hagen And, sokora those would become like my top.
Three so then obviously players can open. Up BUT i
don't think anybody anywhere has Got Robbie snelling in. There
i'm back With robbie stealing we. Are we're coming off
of a horrifically bad year where he was traded five
one FIVE era over twenty five. Starts k's were just you,

(01:11:10):
know one hundred fifteen over one hundred and fifteen. Innings
whip was really. Atrocious he moved two. Levels he got
up To TRIPLE, a which, means you, know we could
see him a little bit this. Year The Texas league
is where the big struggles were sixteen starts to SIX,
era but we didn't end up seeing him In TRIPLE.
A on one start last year where he was, great went,
six struck out seven and walked. One kind of back

(01:11:33):
to a little bit of that. Version but more importantly
is the comfortability of him in this organization. NOW i
think getting traded is a wildly crazy thing that, happened
and he really struggled environmental. Stuff he's at an off
season where he's gotten to work with an organization THAT
i guess there's been definitely a lot of, injuries but
there's also been you, know really solid. Development you, know

(01:11:57):
they got an organization of guys with great, changeups AND
i think just from a pitching, SIDE i trust their
pitching development way more THAN i trust their hitting. Development
So Robbie snelling has had a full offseason to kind
of recoup and get. Going what we saw in spring
TRAINING i think is really. Telling villo is. Up last,
season he was sitting in that like ninety three ninety

(01:12:19):
four range, well and some spring starts we saw him
getting to ninety, six getting close to touching ninety seven
on the. FASTBALL i know it's it's AT tj. STATS i,
think does his Stuff plus model the fastball OR i,
guess more, importantly the sinker as it was designed For
seamen sinker was given like a one to twenty on

(01:12:40):
His Stuff plus. Model the rest were, like, right a
little over one, hundred but a one to twenty on
the Fastball Stuff plus is. Great the slider also upticked On.
Villo we saw close to two mile an hour uptick
on his. Slider it was eighty. One it's sitting eighty.
Three little bit sweepier change. UP i, LOVE i love
the idea of the change up in this organization as.

(01:13:02):
Well little three pitch. Pitchy you hope that maybe they
can learn to develop that through But i'm not sure
that that's going to be their design goal this year of,
like let's add a fourth pitch In it's, like, no
let's be really successful with the fastball and slider. Combination
and that is really showing a, promise very very promising

(01:13:23):
based off of some of the spring, results AND i
think that's going to carry. OVER i am forgetting And
i'm going to bring back the exact, context but there
was a prospect AND i want to believe they was
told a friend of mine That Robbie snelling looked absolutely
phenomenal that they had worked with and That Robbie snelling

(01:13:44):
is going to have a big bounce. Back the stuff is.
Back and this is a reminder that in twenty twenty
three he pitched one hundred innings with a one point
eight two era with the padres across three different. Levels
this wasn't just a ball blah blah. Blah by the,
way he is a twenty one year old or maybe he's.

(01:14:05):
TEY i think he actually just hit twenty. TWO i
don't think this is. Updated twenty one year old last
year and a twenty year old the year. Before but
in twenty twenty three a HIGH a and DOUBLE, a
and then when he got to DOUBLE a he had
a one point five to SIX era low batting average
against and it all fell apart last. Season stuff looks
like it is ticked back. Up fastball backup is very very.

(01:14:29):
Encouraging that slider is a little bit tighter and more.
CONTROL i think we might get back to the missing.
Bats he struck out one hundred and eighteen over one
hundred and three and two thousand and three, well walking
only thirty. Four the walks were still low last, year
but the strikeouts came. Down whip he, was the command was.
Not there was a wildly crazy whip and the batting

(01:14:50):
average against was way. UP i mean he went from
two sixteen to two eighty. Six now you give me
uptick vlows on the fastball and the. SLIDER i really
Think Robbie snelling is going to bounce back and you,
KNOW i didn't go like top FIVE. Sp that's a
pretty tough, market you, know LIKE i, said already gave
you three of. Them then you throw in Like Thomas,
white Maybe sprott is, gone you, Know Yarlin susanna Noble

(01:15:14):
meyer or something like. That But i'm looking at this
And i'm, thinking you, Know Ryan, sloan it has been.
Mentioned i'm looking at this and thinking like top ten
is right in his, placement and maybe that puts him
in the top seventy five or top fifty of overall.
Sps but the return Of Robbie, snelling that is my
bold prediction top ten at the end of the YEAR

(01:15:34):
sp as long as he doesn't lose his, eligibility because
there's always a possibility he could be. Up they go
and Trade sandy Al. Contra maybe that's part of the bold.
Prediction he's up and he's pretty. Good but the uptick
really has me feeling, positive and that is a bold
prediction For Robbie snelling all. Right on the other, side
my hitter locked into this one pretty. Early Tie pete

(01:15:57):
with The Seattle mariners will be a top twenty prospect
by the end of the. Year, now This it's a
little finicky for me because there's a part of me that's,
like they gonna have four top twenty five. Prospects The.
Mariners you already Got, lazaro who's near. There felman think
is kind of being. Underrated everyone Loves Johnny fermelo as he.
RETURNS i think people are sleeping On. Typete one thing

(01:16:20):
that really stood. OUT i obviously get hyper focus on
this stuff, sometimes but when you see like big physical
changes in, players it stands. Out i've talked About Sebastian.
Walcott was that? Typee was that two point zero looks?

Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
Huge?

Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
Massive AND i joked with. HIM i saw him right
as he actually told him the day he arrived back
in for, camp AND i joked with him about spending
the whole offseason lifting, weights and he wasn't shy about.
It he looks like he's gained ten to fifteen at
least on the muscle. Side we're seeing some, big hard
hit numbers that are coming with that as. Well so
last season was a Great Mindor league, season by the,

(01:16:59):
way sixty nine seven, homers forty five stolen, bases three
forty three obp little under one hundred point differential those
are great, numbers twenty six, doubles lots of extra base,
hits strikeouts of the. Problem big strikeout issue has to get.
Rectified so thirty percent essentially strikeout rate that he was

(01:17:20):
rocking across the. Board and then also also you COULD
i think some people will pay attention and they'll be, like,
well you, know it's nine career homers in one hundred
and thirty nine. Games is their power? Projection he answered
some of that this. Spring he had turned on A
Matt wilkinson ball during spring where he put up one
hundred and TEN. Ev that's like a, big you, know

(01:17:41):
critical power marker where you're going from like league average to, like,
oh we can go above league average. Power and that
was coming back together with a little bit of this
new reformed. Body he's physically getting. BETTER i think he's
going to be working a lot more primary outfield now
and he's got all the vibes to me to be
an electric center. FIELDER i think he's a, crazy crazy.

(01:18:04):
Athlete he's not going to stop stealing. Bases i'm very
hopeful with some of the stuff we saw on spring
that the strikeouts are going to cut, down which could
lead to higher batting, average AND i think it is
a foregone conclusion that he will hit more homers this
year than he has across the two levels in his
minor league. Career and what that is going to end
up putting is something along the lines of like a

(01:18:24):
fifteen to fifty. Season and if he's hitting two, eighty
he's going to be a top a top twenty five,
prospect maybe a top five. Prospect now the strikeouts don't cut,
down and he's like a two sixty two seventy, guy
and maybe the power comes up and it's like twenty.
FORTY i still think we're close to, there BUT i
think we're going to start to see the transformation of
type into being in the com especially in the. CONVERSATION

(01:18:47):
i didn't Mention Colt, emerson by the, way in that other.
GROUP i think he will be in the conversation of
all of these, guys AND i think he actually might
be one of the most electric fantasy of prospects. Here
Lazara mantes doesn't steal people worry about the. Body Felon
selston might not actually be a high electric counting stats.
Player he just might be this super well rounded. Guy

(01:19:09):
Johnny farmelo not sure about the, speed big, power, Injuries
Colt emerson powers a big. Question he makes lots of,
contact blah blah. Blah Tye pete has the most like
electric fantasy combination where if he's hitting like he could
hit three or four for a, team he's stealing fifty plus.
Bases he is a double digit homer, guy putting up,

(01:19:31):
ONE i mean seven homers last, year but a one
to ten plus Ev if he starts doing that while
cutting down, strikeouts this is the fantasy combination to be
on the lookout. FOR i Think typete is going to
make a big. Move so my bold prediction is he
is a top twenty five prospect by the end of the,
year AND i think the stat line is gonna be
like a fifteen to fifty type of. Season he's gonna
go to HIGH a and he'll probably push DOUBLE a

(01:19:52):
and they'll probably see him in THE. Afl But typete's
going to make a big move and that is my bold.
