to Proverbs 31, wannabe.
My name is Alexis Heaslip andon this podcast we talk about
what it means to be a Proverbs31 woman of faith and how we
sometimes miss the mark.
I'm sorry for not posting lastweek.
This has been going around myhouse and even last night my son

was sick, so prayers for that.
I didn't have an enemy torecord, but I'm back today.
I am so excited because I didprep this last week, hoping to
have been able to record thisepisode.
But here I am the joys of beinga mom right.

Sometimes our plans do not go asexpected, but today we are
going to be continuing this 16part series on connecting the
dots between Messianic prophecyfrom Old Testament to Jesus in
the New Testament.
There is a lot of scripture togo over and these next couple of
(01:13):
points.
I'm pretty sure.
Yes, I have four main points Iwant to talk about today, so
let's dive on in y'all.
So last time we were talkingtogether, we were talking about
how our Messiah would becomeinto Jerusalem, being proclaimed
(01:33):
as this mighty prince throughhumility.
But not everyone was happyabout this and we are going to
be seeing how this unhappinessleads to some hatred and
rejection.
So the first big point that weare going to be talking about,
(01:57):
this Messianic prophecy, thistheme that is woven throughout
the whole Bible, is that ourMessiah, the Redeemer of the
world, will be hated withoutcause.
And we see this in many partsof the Old Testament.
But I have two passages to lookat.

So if you'll turn with me inyour Bibles, to Isaiah, chapter
49, verses 5 through 7, and I'mreading in the Tree of Life
version, let's start at verse 5together.
So now it says Adonai, whoformed me from the womb to be
his servant, to bring Jacob backto him, to gather Israel back
(02:41):
to him.
For I am honored in the eyes ofAdonai and my God has become my
strength.
So he says it's too trifling athing that you should be my
servant to raise up the tribesof Jacob and restore the
preserved ones of Israel.
So I will give you as a lightfor the nations that you should
(03:05):
be my salvation to the ends ofthe earth.
So this is the intention thatthe Lord has for Messiah.
But do the people see this?
Do the people accept this?
Do the people respond well tothis?
Let's see what verse 7 says.
This says Adonai, the redeemerof Israel, their holy one, to
(03:30):
the one despised, to the one thenations abhor, to a servant of
rulers.
Kings will see and arise.
Princes will also bow downBecause of Adonai he was
faithful, the holy one of Israelwho has chosen you.
So what's really interestingabout this verse is that it
(03:55):
shows us what God's plan is forthe Son, what the Father's plan
is and what his will is that theSon will be a ruler and a light
of the world.
But it also tells us that hewill be despised and abhorred.
But even though he is despised,he will overcome because Adonai
(04:18):
, our Father, is faithful.
And I think that's reallyimportant for us to know and to
understand is that a lot of theworld rejects our Messiah Jesus
every single day, but in the endhe is the ultimate light, and
(04:38):
the light cannot be covered.
And we see this again reflectedin, excuse me, the book of
Psalms.
If you'll turn with me to Psalm69, and we are going to be
looking at verse 5, which tellsus those who hate me without a
(05:02):
cause outnumber the hairs on myhead.
People are my enemies who woulddestroy me with lives.
What I did not steal must Irestore.
So, as you can see, this Psalmof David is reflecting on how
(05:27):
David was despised without acause, and so also our Lord
Messiah was despised without acause, because David's life is
like a reflection of the thingsthat our Messiah was going to go
through as well.
(05:47):
David and Jesus were bothdespised without a cause, and
yet they were called to restorethe very people who hated them,
and we see this throughout theNew Testament.
(06:11):
The first verse I want us tolook at is in the book of Mark,
which chapter 9, verse 12, I'malmost there myself.
This verse tells us Now, hetold them.
Indeed, elijah comes first, herestores all things.
(06:37):
And how is it written that theSon of man must suffer much and
be treated with contempt?
Here Jesus is clearly sayingthat I'm going to suffer, you
guys, I am going to suffer.
This is not meant to be pretty,but if you remember, the
(07:00):
disciples just couldn't wraptheir heads around it.
And over and over again in theGospels, jesus tries to tell the
disciples that he is going tobe hated.
We see this reflected in Luke,chapter 17,.
If you'll turn with me there,verses 20 through 36, I'll read
(07:25):
this with you because it's areally powerful passage of
Scripture.
Then Yeshua answered and saidWeren't ten cleansed?
But where are the nine?
Remember?
Jesus healed the ten lepers,but only one came back.
Just some context in verse 17is where this is coming from.
(07:50):
Now, when Yeshua was asked bythe Pharisees when the kingdom
of God would come, he answeredthem and said the kingdom of God
does not come with signs to beseen.
Nor will they say look here orthere, for behold, the kingdom
of God is in your midst".
Then Yeshua said to thedisciples the days will come
(08:11):
when you will long to see of thedays of the Son of man, and you
will not see it.
They will say to you look, look, look here, look there.
Do not go and chase after them,for just as the lightning
flashes from one part of the skyand lights up another part, so
(08:31):
will the Son of man be in hisday, but first but first.
He must suffer much and berejected by an entire generation
, by this entire generation.
As it was in the days of Noah,so will it also be in the days
(08:53):
of the Son of man.
They were eating, drinking,marrying and being given into
marriage, until the day Noahentered the ark.
Then the flood came anddestroyed them all.
It will be just as the same.
In the days of Lot, they wereeating, drinking, buying,
(09:13):
selling, planting, building, buton the day Lot left Sodom, it
rained fire and sulfur fromheaven and destroyed them all.
Things will be on the same daywhen the Son of man is made
fully known.
In that day, the one who is onthe roof and his possessions in
(09:36):
the house must not go down totake them away.
In the same way, the one who isin the field must not turn back
.
Remember Lot's wife whoevertries to keep his life will lose
it, but whoever loses his lifewill preserve it.
I tell you, on that night therewill be two in one bed.
(10:01):
One will be taken along and theother left.
There will be two womengrinding and grinding at the
same place.
One will be taken, the otherleft.
There will be two in the fieldOne will be taken along and the
other left.
As you can see, this is a really, really powerful passage of
(10:24):
scripture and a powerful messagethat Jesus taught.
But even with this proclamationof what the coming of the Son
of man will be like, we hearthat, just like the days of Noah
, the entire generation will berejecting and hating God, and
(10:51):
that's so sad that their eyeswere blind to the truth until it
was too late.
And that, to me, really breaksmy heart and really puts the
Great Commission into a newperspective.
Because there are so manypeople who are living in this
(11:14):
darkness, going day by day, notknowing who the Son of man is,
who Jesus is, and I don't wantto be silent in my faith, I
don't want to be timid in myfaith, because if we're not
voicing our faith, then othersmight not come to know him and
(11:36):
on the day of his return they'dbe left behind, and that would
just break my heart.
And we hear this concern andthe sadness of being hated
without a cause echoed again inthe book of John.
If you'll turn with me to John,chapter 15, verses 18 through
(12:00):
25, and these powerful verses,which I'm sure many of you have
heard before, echo thissentiment.
If the world hates, you knowthat it has hated me before you.
If you were of the world, theworld would love you as its own,
but you are not of the world,since I have chosen you out of
(12:27):
the world.
Therefore, the world hates you.
Remember the word I spoke toyou a servant is not greater
than his master.
If they persecute me, they willpersecute you also.
If they kept my word, they willkeep yours also.
But all these things they willdo to you for the sake of my
(12:50):
name, because they do not knowthe one who sent me.
If I had not come and spoken tothem, they would have no sin,
but now they have no excuse fortheir sin.
He who hates me also hates myfather.
If I had not done works amongthem that no one else did, they
(13:13):
would have no sin.
But now they have seen and havehated both me and my father.
So this is fulfilled in theword written in their scripture.
They hated me for no reason.
When the helper comes, whom Iwill send to you from the father
, the spirit of truth who goesout from the father, he will
(13:34):
testify about me, and you alsotestify because you have been
with me from the beginning.
You see, my friends, not onlywill Messiah be hated without
cause, but those who follow himwill also be hated without cause
(13:55):
, because the world does notwant to hear the truth.
The world would rather live inthe darkness so that they could
keep on doing whatever they wantwithout consequences.
But that's not what we arecalled to do.
We are called to deny ourselves, take up the cross and follow
(14:16):
him.
And it's hard to do that, andpeople would rather live the
easy life and hate God andpretend that he doesn't exist
and not know him, rather thanfollowing God.
So not only is he hated withouta cause, he is also undesired
(14:42):
and rejected by his own people,which is so heartbreaking but
true.
If you'll turn with me to Isaiah53, the so well-known passage
among Christians but hidden inthe Jewish communities, which is
(15:06):
, I think, really interesting.
I was listening to this podcastby Messianic Jew and he was
saying growing up, they neverread the scripture because the
rabbis didn't want to talk aboutit, because it caused too many
controversies, and I thinkthat's just really, really
interesting that they know deepdown that this points to Messiah
(15:30):
Jesus.
So they choose to ignore thispowerful passage of scripture
and are still rejecting him tothis day.
And Isaiah 53, verses 2 and 3,tell us For he grew up before
them like a tender shoot, like aroot from the dry ground.
He had no form or majesty thatwe should look at him, nor
(15:51):
beauty that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected bymen, a man of sorrows
acquainted with grief, one fromwhom people hid their faces.
He was despised and we did notesteem him.
Boy oh boy, do I have so muchto say about Isaiah 53 as a
(16:14):
whole.

We will do a complete, deepdive into this really powerful,

important passage of scriptureto learn how our Messiah
suffered and was rejected forour sake.

So just surface level, to talkreally quick, he was despised
(16:58):
and rejected by men.
Many people thought that theMessiah would come as a mighty
warrior or a king who washandsome and strong and buff or
like the typical Disney princethat we think of.
But that was not the case.
Okay, he was not handsome, hewas just an average
(17:19):
run-of-the-mill Joe blow from asmall little town of Nazareth.
And can anything really goodcome from Nazareth?
That's what people thought.
And he was despised.
And we see this also, this themeof being rejected and rejection
(17:40):
of Messiah, later on in Isaiahand Isaiah 63, verses 3 through
5, which tell us this I havetrodden the wine press alone
From the people's.
No man was with me.
I trod them in my anger and Itrampled them in my wrath.
(18:02):
Their lifeblood battered mygarments so I stained all my
robes.
For a day of vengeance was inmy heart and my year of
redemption has come.
I looked, but there was no oneto help.
I was amazed, but no one wasassisting.
So my own arm won victory forme and my wrath upheld me.
(18:25):
The people turned their backson God and, as we'll see, even
Jesus' own family rejected him.
And it wasn't until after theresurrection that Jesus'
(18:46):
brothers realized who he evenwas, and we'll get to that in
just a minute.
But we see that reflected againback in Psalm 69, in verse 9,
how Jesus Messiah was a strangernot only to his own physical
brothers, who he grew up withand who he loved, but also to
(19:09):
his disciples, and how they allscattered and ran from him.
Psalm 69, verse 9, tells usI've become a stranger to my
brothers, a foreigner to mymother's children, and we see
this so reflected in the gospelsin the book of Mark.
If you'll turn with me, I knowwe're flipping back and forth,
(19:32):
but I think it's important thatwe do.
In the book of Mark, if you'llturn with me to chapter 6,
verses 1 through 6, the title ofthis section is responding to
rejection and I feel like it'sso fitting.
And now Yeshua went out fromthere and he came to his
hometown and his disciplesfollowed him.
(19:54):
When Shabbat came, he began toteach in the synagogue.
Many listeners were amazed,saying where did this fellow get
these things?
What's this wisdom given to him?
Such miracles are done by hishands.
Isn't this the carpenter, theson of Miriam and the brother of
Jacob and Joseph and Judah andSimon?
(20:16):
Aren't his sisters here with us?
And they took offense at him.
Then Yeshua began saying tothem a prophet is not without
honor.
Except in the hometown, amonghis relatives and in his own
house, he was not able to do anymiracle, except that he laid
(20:37):
hands on a few sick people andhealed him, and he was
astonished because of their ownbelief.
Isn't that just so sad?
I feel like if I was Jesus andI'd grown up with all these
people, including his ownbrothers and sisters, and they
(21:00):
objected to him and took offenseat him, that would have just
broken my heart.
But isn't that so true abouthow, when we have someone who's
close to us who's not a believerand they constantly reject the
truth of the gospel, it breaksyour heart over and over and
over again?
And that's probably how Jesusfelt too.
(21:23):
And we see this echoed in all ofthe gospels, and in Luke,
chapter 9, verse 58, we readthis heartbreaking verse.
But Yeshua said to him Foxeshave dens and birds of the air
have nests, but the Son of manhas nowhere to lay his head.
(21:44):
He is a stranger to his familyand the book of John.
We see this echoed againthroughout.
First, we see it in John,chapter 1, verses 10 and 11,
(22:06):
which tell us he was in theworld and the world was made
through him, but the world didnot know him.
He came to his own, but his owndid not know him.
His own did not receive him.
Again, in John, chapter 7, weread this Therefore, his brother
(22:36):
said to him leave here and goto Judea so your disciples also
may see the works you're doing.
No one who wants to be wellknown does everything in secret.
If you are doing these things,show yourself to the world, for
not even his brothers weretrusting him.
Not even his brothers trustedhim.
(23:03):
And this passage continues.
Therefore, yeshua said to themmy time has not yet come, but
your time is always at hand.
The world cannot hate you, butit hates me because I testify
that its works are evil.
You go on up for the feast.
I'm not going to this feastbecause my time has not yet
(23:25):
fully come.
And after he said those things,he stayed in Galilee.
His brothers were openlyhostile toward him.
How heartbreaking that much be.
But it wasn't just his brothers.
He was also rejected by Jewishleadership.
(23:47):
But through this rejectioncomes this beauty, and we have a
lot to talk about with thisthird point.
So Psalm 118, if you'll turnwith me back to the book of
Psalms and I kind of went downon a rabbit hole at this point
(24:08):
and I wasn't expecting to.
So I hope you enjoy this,because I learned a lot from
these little verses that are sofamiliar and and yet there's
still so much to learn aboutthem, about how Christ's
rejection brings ultimate joy.
So, psalm 18, verses 22 through24 they're super famous verses,
(24:33):
but let's read them together.
The stone the builders rejectedhas become the capstone, the
cornerstone.
It is from Adonai.
It is marvelous in our eyes,this is the day that Adonai has
made.
Let us rejoice and be glad init.
Although Jesus is rejected bythe people, whether it be the
(24:58):
leaders, the Jewish leaders, orhis brother, he ends up being
the cornerstone of the faith,because he is Messiah and
Redeemer and we are to rejoicein that.
And there are three differentpassages of scripture in the New
Testament that really exemplifythis point Matthew 21, 33
(25:24):
through 46, mark 12, 1 through12 and Luke 20, 23 and 24.
Is this parable of the vineyard?
I'm going to just look at oneof these passages, and I'm a bit
biased to Matthew and Luke, buttoday we're gonna look at
(25:45):
Matthew because it flushesthings out more than the version
in Luke.
So let's turn to Matthew 21,.
And we're gonna start at verse33.
Listen to another parable.
There was a master of ahousehold who planted a vineyard
.
He put a hedge around it, dug awine press in it and built a
(26:08):
tower.
Then he leased it to sometenant farmers and went on a
journey.
Now, when fruit season drewnear, he sent his servants to
the tenants to collect his fruit.
But, grabbing his servants, thetenants beat up one, killed
another and stoned another Again.
The master sent other servants,even more than the first, even
(26:31):
more than the first, and theydid the same.
Finally, he sent his son tothem, saying they will respect
my son.
But when the tenants saw theson, they said among themselves
this is the heir.
Come on, let's kill him and gethis inheritance.
So, grabbing him, they threwhim out of the vineyard and they
(26:56):
killed him.
Therefore, when the master ofthe vineyard comes, what will he
do to those tenants?
He will bring those miserablemen to a miserable end, they
said to him, and will lose thevineyard to other tenants.
He will give him his share ofthe fruits in their seasons.
(27:17):
This is where it getsinteresting.
Yeshua said to them have younever read the scriptures?
The stone which the buildersrejected, it has become the
chief cornerstone.
This came from Adonai and it ismarvelous in our eyes.
Therefore, I say to you thekingdom of God will be taken
(27:38):
away from you and will be givento people producing its fruits.
Whoever falls on the stone willbe shattered, but the one upon
whom it falls, it will crush him.
When the ruling Kohanim and thePharisees heard Yeshua's
parables, they realized he wastalking about them.
Although they were trying toseize him, they feared the
(28:01):
crowds because they regarded himas a prophet.
This is so powerful because itmakes people realize and it made
the prideful Pharisees andpriests realize if you're just
full of pride and you thinkyou're looking good and you're
(28:23):
more concerned about how youlook to others, but you're not
actually producing fruit, youwill be crushed in the end and
the kingdom of God will be takenfrom you.
And this powerful, stunningmessage we see this throughout
(28:45):
the New Testament and it reallymakes you want to do some
self-reflection.
I don't know about you, but itmakes me want to do some
self-reflection.
Am I just doing things to lookgood in front of other people or
do I have a genuine faiththat's producing fruit and
bearing fruit?
(29:05):
And Peter in the book of Actsreflects on this and gives the
whole gospel message and just acouple of verses.
If you'll turn with me to Acts,chapter four, we're gonna look
at verses eight through 12.
So let's start at verse eighttogether.
Then Peter filled with theRuach Hakodesh.
(29:27):
The Holy Spirit said to them,rulers and elders of the people
if we are on trial today for acommand mitzvot done for a sick
man as to how this fellow washealed, let it be known to all
of you and to all the people ofIsrael that the name of Yeshua
Hamasiyak Hanathrati.
(29:48):
Yeshua Jesus, the Messiah ofNazareth, whom you have
crucified, who God raised fromthe dead, this one stands before
you whole.
This Yeshua is the stonerejected by you, the builders,
that has become the chiefcornerstone.
(30:11):
There is salvation, and no oneelse, for there is no other name
under heaven given to mankindby which we must be saved.
That is the entire gospel in anutshell.
You think you have salvationThrough your good works are,
from looking good or forgivingmoney and looking great and
(30:34):
being applauded by your peers.
No, the only way for redemptionis through Messiah Jesus, and
it's not just for the Jews.
This redemption is not just forthe Jews, it is for anyone who
(30:55):
comes to him.
And this was a radical thought,because a lot of the Jewish
people were proud people and didnot believe that the Gentiles
were worthy of God's love.
But Paul Tells us this how Jewand Gentile are one in Messiah,
(31:16):
in Ephesians, chapter 2.
Let's start at verse 11.
Therefore, keep in mind thatonce you, gentiles in the flesh,
were called uncircumcised bythose called circumcised, which
is performed on flesh by hand,at that time you were separate
from Messiah, excluded from theCommonwealth of Israel and
(31:39):
Strangers to the covenant ofpromise, having no hope and
without God in the world.
But now, in Messiah Yeshua, youwho are once far off have been
brought near by the blood ofMessiah, for he is our shalom,
he is our peace, the one whomade the two into one and broke
down this middle wall ofseparation.
(32:01):
Within his flesh, he madepowerless the hostility the law
code of mitzvot contain inregulations.
He did this in order to createwithin himself one new man from
the two groups making shalom andTo reconcile both to God and
one body through the cross, bywhich he put the hostility to
(32:26):
death.
He came and proclaimed shalomto you who were far away, and
shalom to those who were near,for through him, we both have
access to the father by the sameRuach, the same spirit.
So, then, you are no longerstrangers and foreigners, but
(32:46):
you are fellow Citizens withGod's people and members of
God's household.
You have been built on thefoundation Made up of the
emissaries and prophets, withMessiah Yeshua himself being the
cornerstone in him.
The whole Building being fittedtogether is growing into a holy
(33:10):
temple for the Lord.
In him, you also are beingbuilt together into God's
dwelling place in the Ruach inthe spirit.
Jesus Christ, our Messiah, iseveryone's cornerstone, even
though the Jewish leadersrejected him.
(33:31):
He is for Jew, he is forGentile.
If you Accept Jesus, you aregrafted into Israel and you are
free Again.
This is echoed Beautifully infirst Peter, chapter 2, verses 4
(33:52):
through 12, which tell us thisas you come to him, a living
stone, rejected by men butchosen by God and precious you
also as living stones, are beingbuilt up as a spiritual house,
a holy priesthood to offer upSpiritual sacrifices acceptable
(34:15):
to God through Messiah Yeshua.
For it says in scripturesBehold, I lay in Zion a stone, a
chosen, precious cornerstone.
Whoever trust in him will neverbe put to shame.
Now the value is For you whoare you keep trusting.
But for those who do not trustthe stone which the builders
(34:39):
rejected, this one has becomethe chief cornerstone and A
stone of stumbling and a rock ofoffense.
They stumble because they aredisobeying the word.
To this they were alsoappointed.
But you are chosen people, aroyal priesthood, a holy nation,
a People for God's ownpossession, so that you may
(35:00):
proclaim the praises of the onewho called you out of the
darkness Into his marvelouslight.
Once you were not a people, butnow you are God's people.
You were shown no mercy, butnow you have been shown mercy.
These verses are so powerful, so, so, so powerful, because it
(35:28):
demonstrates us that God soloved the world.
Not just the Jewish leaderssaid he gave his one and only
son so that whoever believes inhim would not perish but have
eternal life.
Eternal life and this leads toa really upsetting point,
(35:55):
because he came for everyone,but yet everyone plotted against
Jesus, the Jewish people andthe Gentiles, and they plot it
together.
And we see this Not only in theNew Testament, but it's
predicted in the Old Testamentas well.
For example, psalm 2, verses 1through 3, tell us this why are
(36:21):
the nations in an uproar and thepeople's matter vanity?
The kings of the earth setthemselves up and rulers
conspire together against Adonaiand Against his anointed one.
Let's rise up their chains,let's rip their chains apart,
excuse me and throw their ropesoff us.
So this Psalm is just, you know, a small demonstration on how
(36:47):
not just the Jewish people, whoknew the word of God but
rejected it over and over andover again, from look at the
prophets, all the examples ofthe prophets, but also
non-Jewish nations, and how theytreat it as Adonai.
They conspired and Plotted andwent an annihilation of not only
(37:10):
the Jewish people but theJewish God.
And and we see this in the NewTestament how, even though
Gentiles and Jews, therelationships were messy at best
and Volatile mostly at besttheir mutual hatred, hatred for
(37:33):
Jesus as Messiah, broughtdifferent factions of Jews
together and brought the Romangovernment to conspire Against
Jesus.
And this was not the normal.
There were Herodians andPharisees and Sadducees and all
(37:54):
these different groups ofJudaism, and they had varying
beliefs about who God was, butthey teamed up together.
And we see this one example inMark 3, verse 6.
The Pharisees went out rightaway with the Herodians and
began plotting against him andhow they might destroy them.
(38:16):
The Pharisees and Herodianshated each other, but they had
Even more hatred towards JesusBecause they didn't like what he
had to say, and so they teamedup along with other groups like
the Sadducees and Even theRomans, who all Jews hated.
(38:38):
But yet the Jewish leaders hadso much pride that they were
willing, in their vanity, toteam up with Rome to destroy
Jesus.
One example is in Acts, chapterfour, if you turn with me,
(38:59):
verses 23 through 31.
And these verses show us thisprayer for courage that Peter
and John had, and I think it'sreally beautiful.
(39:20):
And in this prayer I won't readall of it, but Peter prays for
courage and calls out Herod andPilate, for truly, both Herod
and Pontius Pilate, along withGentiles and peoples of Israel,
were gathered together in thecity against your holy servant,
(39:42):
jesus, who you anointed.
That's Acts, chapter four,verse 27 specifically.
So we acknowledge that Jew andGentile alike, people who hated
each other, pilate and Herod,who did not get along, all came
together and teamed up againstJesus.
(40:04):
And I want us to end on thisnote, because there's so much
more to talk about.
It shows you how the truthscares everyone.
The truth can scare people andfrustrate people and enrage.
People who are in power, whonormally don't get along, but
(40:27):
because of their desire to stayin control, to stay in power,
will team up and fight againstthe truth.
And we see this happening inour world all the time, whether
it be with politicians, whetherit be with those in any position
(40:47):
of power, whether it be in thebusiness world or the political
world.
You see how, when people wantto be able to live their life,
live their truth without anyoneinterfering, and someone with
faith comes in and shines thelight of Jesus on a dark and
(41:09):
ugly situation, people will teamup and fight against it.
This is happening in ourgovernment.
This is happening in ourhospital system.
I just heard the other week ofthis family in Montana who lost
custody of their daughterbecause their daughter, at 12

years old, was wanting totransition and they didn't
support their daughter.
So the hospital and socialservices work together with the
courts and has taken theirdaughter away from them against
their will and is allowing thischild to transition.

And we as Christians need to beaware as to what is going on.
And this family is not onlytrying to fight it, but the
court has gag ordered them sothat they can't talk about it,
and they're bravely talkingabout it anyway.

about, and she actuallyinterviewed the family against

the court's wishes.
And now the families, theparents, are potentially facing
jail time for speaking upagainst this outrageous behavior
.
And we as Christians, if youthink that this couldn't happen
to you or me, think again,because this is happening all

across the United States, thisis happening in Europe, this is
happening everywhere.
So we, as parents, need to bestrong in our faith.
We need to stand firm againstthe schemes of the devil.
Teach these things to ourchildren, talk about it all the
time, stay with our children andbe on guard, because the world
(42:59):
is fighting and teaming up sohard so that darkness rules, but
when we have faith in Jesus, nomatter what is happening, we
can overcome.
