In today's episode of Psych Talk I discuss navigating grief during the holidays. I start the episode by defining what grief is and various types of grief. I discuss the symptoms of grief and how grief may show up differently during the holidays. I then provide practical steps for navigating grief during the holidays and specifically discuss navigating isolation and loneliness. I provide tips on how to support a loved one who is grieving during the holidays, as well as how to parent through grief during the holidays. I end the episode by discussing self-care during the holidays and finding joy through grief.
This is the last episode of Psych Talk for Season 5. Season 6 will start in the new year. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!
