Life throws curveballs that force us to adapt our routines and test how committed we are to our goals. When my schedule shifted from starting at 4AM to 9AM, I had to completely reimagine my approach to productivity, success, and personal growth.

• Shifting from a 4AM to 9AM start time requires completely rethinking my established routine
• True commitment means wanting success more than wanting to complain about obstacles
• Forced adaptation can lead to new strengths and unexpected growth opportunities
• Being unstoppable means finding different paths to the same goals when circumstances change
• Always Moving Forward (AMF) remains the guiding philosophy even when the path changes
• Success requires flexibility to reorganize priorities and schedules when life demands it

If you're facing unexpected changes to your routine, remember that your commitment to your goals matters more than your attachment to a specific method. How badly do you want it?

Speaker 1 (00:00):
How bad do you want it?
You know, ever since the armyand for multiple of these videos
, I've always said about how Iget up at 4 o'clock in the
morning and I'm fired up andmotivated and how I think my
morning routine is moreimportant than my first meal of
the day.
My morning routine meansabsolutely everything to me.

(00:20):
It's like a clockwork atscience, but due to recent
events, my schedule has tochange.
So's like a clockwork, it'sscience, but due to recent
events, my schedule has tochange.
So I am freaking out, I'mhating it, I'm not happy, but
how bad do I want it?
How bad do I want to be betterin life, to be more successful,
to be able to exercise.
I'm basically, due to certaincircumstances, having to start

(00:46):
instead of about four o'clock inthe morning.
I got to start around like nineo'clock in the morning now.
So it's a different problem,different situation and
different solutions.
So instead of um you know Idon't like to try to memorize
and work on comedy and writing,uh, first thing in the morning,
because I like to kind of beawake, I like to have my mind

(01:10):
settled and rested and stuff.
But guess what?
I just got to do it because Iwant it so bad.
You know I don't have timeanymore to work on the stock
market because between like 8 to9-ish and stuff, I'm busy doing
something else now.
It because, between like eightto nine ish and stuff, I'm busy
doing something else now.
And, um, uh, you know, I thinkif you really want something,

(01:31):
you'll always find a way.
And you know, when you're putin different situations and
you're you're forced to thinkdifferently, beautiful things
can come from that and, um,beautiful things can come from
that.
I'm not having too much beautycoming to me right now in any of
these situations, but I amstarting to think a little bit

(01:53):
differently.
That's the conclusion that Icame to recently, which is how
bad do I really want it?
How bad do I really want to dostand-up comedy professionally?
How bad do I want to make aliving?
Okay, day trading on the stockmarket.
You can study earlier, you canstay up later.
You have different ways ofmaking accomplishments and

(02:15):
making these things.
Right now, my morning scheduleuntil further notice will not be
changing and I absolutely hateit, but I want it.
I want my success.
I want my relaxation, myfreedom, my peace, more than I
want to complain.
So I'm going to change thingsaround start rehearsing at five

(02:39):
o'clock in the morning, startworking out at six.
I'm going to completely changearound my schedule because I
cannot be stopped and I alwaysbelieve in one of my favorite
phrases, which is AMF alwaysmoving forward.
You always got to move forward.
You know and you know I've hada hiatus lately as a result of

(03:04):
my schedule changing.
I had to, unfortunately, takesome time away from the podcast
and reassess a lot of differentthings, because everything is
completely different now and Ican't stop saying how much I

(03:25):
truly hate it but even more thanmy dislike of not having things
the way that I want them, theway that I'm so regimented to
have things be so strong firstthing in the morning.
He's so strong first thing inthe morning.
All right, I'm not a latestarter.
I like starting hard and fastand early in the morning.

(03:51):
So Now I'm just going to haveto move things around and I know
it'll work out for the best.
And should there ever be a timewhen my schedule changes and I
go back to my mornings, I'mgoing to be even better Because
I would have evolved throughbeing able to be a strong

(04:12):
starter.
You ever watch like a boxer andthey come out really strong and
stuff like that.
Well, this, if this was like aboxing match or a comedy show,
this considered this like newevolution in my timetable, right
, as far as, like my day goes, you know my middle act.
All right, I'm a strongfinisher, I'm a strong starter,

(04:36):
but I'm just going to have tochange things around and I know,
when you force yourself tothink differently and when
you're unstoppable, right, youwill find a way to win and
ultimately, I think that's whatit's all about.
I think the best way to beunstoppable is to always move

(04:56):
forward and always find a way towin.
So, how bad do I want it?
I want it more than I want tocomplain.
So I'm going to get up in themorning, I'm going to change
around my schedule of stuff thatI do at night.
I'm going to do in the morningbecause I have time to do it
before I start work later in theday, around like 9 am now, and

(05:20):
I'm just going to learn how totrade a different kind of stock,
something that I can payattention to after hours or
after hours trading and stufflike that, and I'm going to make
it happen because this is mylife and it's important to me
that I succeed.
It's my duty, it's my duty,it's my obligation, it's my
purpose.
So, with that being mentioned,I hope you all have a beautiful

(05:41):
rest of your day.
This has been Joel Dunn.
Check me out.
Peace.
