Our guest, Dr. Joanne Kemp, PhD, M Sports Physio, B App Sc (Physio)| FACP, is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director at La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Center, where she leads the hip pain research program. She is also the Academic Director of La Trobe University’s clinical trials platform and a Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist with 30 years of experience. A Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists and an editor at the British Journal of Sports Medicine, she has authored over 160 publications and secured more than $13 million in research funding. Her work focuses on managing hip pain in adults, particularly interventions to slow progression and alleviate symptoms of early hip osteoarthritis.
