, whether you're writing yourfirst book, growing your

Hey, it's good to be back.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
How are you guys
today?
This is Tiffany A Greenhood.
This is Published in BlackRadio, so I hope everybody
enjoyed their holiday.
I want to hop right in and I'mdoing a part two on what we
talked about last week.
Last week, we talked aboutincome streams, having seven
(01:01):
income streams and just somedifferent ideas that you can
implement that are not hard tostart, you know, don't cost a
lot of money and all that.
So, in the one main thing thatI really really focused on was
digital products.
Okay, digital products.
If you have not created adigital product for whatever
(01:23):
kind of business you have, youare definitely leaving money on
the table.
I want to encourage you guys tostop sitting on money.
That's my entire goal, okay, for last week and for today.
Stop sitting on money, and sothat's one way that you
definitely are sitting on money.
When it comes to digitalproducts, any industry that you
are in can definitely use adigital product.
(01:47):
You're teaching someone how toget from step A to step B.
Right, people are looking forinformation.
We talked about how the worldis revolved around information,
okay, and so a lot of times, youdon't even know the information
that you need until youencounter somebody like me, or
you know, podcast, um, spendsome time on youtube.
(02:09):
It's all kind of how-to videosout here.
You can download canva I talkedabout that canvacom.
Well, I don't know what that is.
Go on youtube and find out, okay.
And so, um, and you can createyour own digital product within
minutes.
Okay, so today I want to kind ofdo like a part two and talk
(02:31):
about some of the other thingsthat surround you know, creating
your digital product, creatingthose seven streams of income,
because what I don't want you todo, and what I see often, what
I've seen often over the years,is that we create seven streams
and only one is making money, ornone of them are making money,
(02:53):
especially if you still work anine-to-five.
So it's not an urgency rightuntil something happens.
And so we're not waiting untilsomething happens.
We're going to be prepared forwhatever happens.
That will still be good, okay, and 2025 is definitely the year
to tap into that.
So I want to tap into outsideof digital products.
(03:16):
We also talked about coachingcourses.
Okay, one thing I don't think Imentioned was licensing.
Licensing what does that mean,tiffany?
Do you know you can licenseyour ebook out?
I'm sure you didn't know thatyou can license your ebook.
You can create an ebook, right, and it ain't got to be nothing
(03:40):
real deep, but you can create anebook showing someone how to do
something and you can sell it,see, see, we don't think, I
don't think on a low level, okay, so you know.
The normal process is you know, you create an ebook, you sell it
$17.
Again, like I said last week,I've seen people make six
(04:02):
figures, five figures on asimple $17 ebook, right?
Well, how about you created anebook showing how to do X Y Z,
seven steps to X Y Z, or how todo this, this and that?
Right, again, you're showingthem how to get from one step to
(04:22):
the next, okay, them how to getfrom one step to the next, okay
, how about, instead of youselling that for $17, how about
you get paid $2,500 for it?
Right, because you're sellingit to a corporation, a business,
(04:48):
a nonprofit, a college, auniversity, a school.
People are looking forinformation all the time and
they need the tools to continueto do what it is that they do.
So don't ever sit on.
Well, ain't nobody, really?
Ain't nobody looking, you haveno idea?
Okay, that can be your next.
I mean twenty five hundred.
It took me an hour to create itand then I sell it for twenty
five hundred.
(05:08):
I've seen five thousand, I'veseen seven thousand.
One e-book, because what itbecomes is it becomes a
curriculum for the company orthe school or the nonprofit
organization, whatever it is.
Right now we think in corporateand see, that's what I really,
(05:28):
really want to tap into today.
Is this seven streams of income.
Just take one, okay, and notjust focus on selling to people,
because a lot of times we startour businesses, we selling to
people, we are trying to sell topeople and individuals.
Stop thinking on that level, start thinking on a higher level
.
You say you want to think big,you want to go to the next level
.
Then start doing things on thenext level.
(05:49):
Next level is governmentcontracts, local contracts,
state contracts.
Hello, did you know you couldtap into a website, your state
procurements website, and seewhat local, state, local and
state contracts that they haveavailable that you can bid on?
Yes, absolutely so.
(06:13):
Yes, you can sell one ebook for$2,500, $7,000, $5,000, maybe
$10,000.
Okay, information is powerfuland I need you not to sit on the
information that you have inyour head.
I need you not to sit on thegift that you have that you did
not go to school for.
This is all in that circle.
(06:33):
Okay, everybody ain't got to goto school for everything the
stuff I do when I get paid for.
I did not go to school forNobody's school Period and, if I
can really be honest honest Icouldn't stand filling out
applications, couldn't stand it.
And I had some good jobs, whatthey call good jobs.
Let's say that I had the statejob, the government job.
(06:53):
I had all that right.
But when you tap into the realmof utilizing your own gifts and
not, um, depending on someoneelse to pay you, you want to tap
into your own gifts.
It's a whole differentlifestyle, it's a different
mindset and that's it's powerful.
(07:15):
If you, if you can handle it,if you build for it and you
stick in there, it's going topay off, okay, so even if you
still work another nine to five,a nine to five, one or two,
whatever you got going on, tapinto your own gifts, your side
hustles, and turn them intolegit businesses.
Okay, getting paid for 2,500,5,000 to 7,000 for one ebook is
(07:40):
powerful.
Don't let nobody tell you that.
Okay, and I always say youcannot have voices around you.
Stop letting everybody in yourear, okay, cause that'd be a lot
of times why you don't fallthrough with your goals and the
things that you want to do,because you around the people
that you can't even discuss thatstuff with.
I know I'm stepping on sometoes right now and I'm meaning
(08:02):
to do that because you need tocut off them dead conversations.
Stop having broke conversations, stop letting people tell you
competition is out here and allthis old crazy stuff.
No, let me tell you somethinguntil you tap in and you get by
yourself and you tap into thatpower, tap into the way of the
word of God that you go intochurch every Sunday evening,
(08:24):
hello, then that's when you canexperience building wealth, you
can experience that increasethat you've been praying for.
It's right there.
All you need to do is tap intoit, okay.
So, whether it's taking a course, whether it's connecting with
me and doing a consult with me,I'm very resourceful.
(08:46):
Ok, go to publish with Tiffanydot com Book, a call Book, a
discovery call.
Ok, I have e-books on therethat can help you in your
position, your situation rightnow.
They can teach you how to do X,y, z without you having to go
and take a $10,000 course orpaying a motivational speaker
(09:07):
$50,000 to show you what youcould have went and got yourself
.
You need a motivational speaker.
Tap into some of my videos.
Tap into your favoritemotivational speaker on YouTube.
It's too many avenues out herethat we're looking over and
steady saying I'm just, I guessfor me, I'm just tired of people
hearing people say, oh, I don'tknow nobody, I don't know.
(09:30):
Well, I didn't know.
Well, I don't, I don't reallyhave that.
Oh, you got to have this, goget it, go get it.
I wrote down.
I was going to title this, this, this episode.
Um, I was going to title thisepisode Shut Up, sit Down, do
Something or Shut Up.
That's what I was going totitle this show, because we at
(09:53):
that point either do somethingabout it or shut up and sit down
, period, okay.
So I guess y'all say shefussing today.
I'm always fussing because Iwant to see people do better,
especially when it comes toauthors.
That's my lane, but in thatlane I have business.
You know people that just havebusinesses and stuck and don't
(10:14):
know what to do, and this couldbe something simple as creating
a digital product.
You know, setting up youraccount on Samgov and start
looking for contracts in theindustry that you have
experience in.
That's all it takes.
Start conditioning your mindset, start thinking different.
Some of y'all just need tostart thinking different.
When you think different, different opportunities open up.
(10:36):
You start to connect withdifferent people.
Sometimes you got to get outand go to different little
events.
It's all kind of free events.
I was just on Eventbrite twodays ago.
It's so many free events outhere going on that you can
attend and meet people, haveyour business cards or your
digital card or however you haveyour contact information ready,
because people are out herelooking for people that have
(10:58):
what they need.
Okay, and you want to be rightthere to have what they need and
connect.
And you never know what kind ofbig contract it can turn into
Partnership, all that stuff.
And we're going to take a breakreal quick question is will I
(11:42):
ever leave you?
Speaker 3 (11:43):
the answer is no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no no
no no no no no no no no no no nono no no no no no no, no, no,
no, no no no no no no no no nono no no no no no no no no no no
(12:07):
no no no no no no no no no nono no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no no no no no, no no no no nono no no no no no no no no no no
(12:28):
no no no no no no no no no nono no no no no no.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
The question is when
you going to do something
different.
How about that?
When you going to do somethingdifferent, it's time to do
something different.
We are in July.
We have five months left.
Wait, wait, wait.
Yeah, we got five months.
We hit the five-month mark.
And so what are you going to dodifferent?
It's time to do some thingsdifferent.
(12:55):
Okay, and see, this show is onlyroughly 28 minutes, so I never
have time to say absolutelyeverything I want to talk about.
But now I just told y'all aboutthinking different, thinking on
a different level.
Right, about thinking different, thinking on a different level.
Right, being able to create amanual or a blueprint for a
(13:16):
company and sell your ebook for$2,500, $5,000, $7,000.
Don't say what can't happen, okay, that's why you got to
change your mindset.
But what I also want to tapinto today is having the
platforms, having your platformset up so when the people do
show up this is for all thosebusiness owners Listen have your
(13:39):
systems in place.
When the people show up, whenthey're ready to sign the
contract, pay the invoice.
We're not doing cash apps andsales.
I talked about this before.
Okay, set you up.
I'm not gonna recommend PayPal.
Okay, but set you up a Stripeaccount, stripe.
(14:03):
I'm not totally against PayPal,but we we backed off of PayPal
for reasons that they don't lookout for the business owner.
But but Stripe is very powerful.
Okay, you don't have a website.
You can set up a one-stop shoplike Stan's Store.
They have Linktree Stan's Store.
I prefer Stan's Store.
That's where you can have allyour links in one place.
(14:25):
When you go topublishwithtiffanycom, you go to
a website that has all my linksin one place.
Okay, and I still have websitesin place.
But for those that are juststarting out, it's 29 bucks a
month.
You get 14 days free on standstore.
Okay, and link tree used tohave a um free um package.
(14:47):
I'm not sure if they stilloffer, but there are simple ways
to be ready.
When the people show up and asyou grow, as your business grows
guess what?
Then you grow, then you caninvest in something big.
Then you can invest in a fullwebsite.
But let's not have um a websiteas a reason that you cannot
(15:12):
sell or you cannot do this orthat.
That's crazy.
That's absolutely crazy.
If you're launching a book andyour book is not releasing until
another month from now, thatdon't mean you can't have
nothing on your link.
You should be collecting emails, you should be going live or
when you post your content onsocial media.
That's a whole, notherconversation.
(15:32):
But as you're posting andcommunicating and building
relationships, whether online orin person, you still should
have a place for people to comeand join your email list.
That is your audience.
That's your real audience.
Followers they are not youraudience, they just follow you,
for whatever reason.
That doesn't necessarily meanthat they need what you have or
(15:56):
they want what you have or theywant to work with you.
You want to start building anaudience that's attracted to the
solution that you provide.
Okay, we providing solutions outhere.
We providing solutions andanswers and consultations.
We trading our time for moneyon our own time?
Okay, so, not not the time thatwe was trained to do with the
(16:20):
nine to five, but on our owntime.
Like I say, book a call with me.
That means you get on mycalendar.
You pay to get on my calendar.
So now I'm in control of howmuch I charge per hour.
Right, right now it's 400today's price, not tomorrow's
price, just fyi.
(16:40):
Okay, so, but you got controlof that.
So building seven streams don'tnecessarily mean you got to have
brick and mortars.
Five brick and mortar.
Seven brick and mortars.
No, it could be simple.
Things like digital products.
I'ma always go back to that.
So we got digital downloads, bulk sales, um subscriptions.
They got even on social media.
(17:03):
When you get to a certain levelon your account, you can offer
subscriptions for people to getdifferent little perks and stuff
and it's like I clicked on one.
It was like $2.99 a month.
That money add up.
You know you have um othermembership sites that you can
set up, as opposed to a website.
You may not want a websitewhere you're selling your
(17:25):
products and services, but youmay want a membership site where
you can build a community andcharge $20 a month, $30 a month,
$47 a month and you'reproviding, you know, a platform
to where you have differentvideos, different e-books or
(17:46):
whatever the topic is.
It's a community where you cango live with them once a month
and they people pay for that.
When you are giving themexactly what they need to get to
the level that they want to getto, people will pay for that
okay.
So don't just think this sevenstreams is just something to
talk about.
(18:06):
It's definitely a goal, it'sdefinitely something to build up
to, but you can start exactlywhere you are.
So that can be as simple as adigital product.
That can be as simple asreleasing your book and selling
it.
Doing more than one book signing.
I've seen authors who I don'tknow why it's been the norm that
(18:35):
you just do a book signing whenthe book releases and then you
don't do anything else.
I don't know where that camefrom, but you could do as many
book signings as you want to.
You could do a book signingevery month, you can do one
every two months, four per year.
Whatever it is that you want todo, you have to understand that
when you have your own businessand you're building your own
wealth, you are in control.
(18:55):
That's the power of it.
At least, that's the part thatI like.
You in control.
You set the price, you set thetone, you set the time.
You determine who you partnerwith and who you don't.
You know what I'm saying.
Use this armament can't connectwith everybody.
Everything ain't about a dollareither.
So you have to make sure what'sin it for you.
(19:17):
You gotta, you gotta, thinkabout it like that.
What's in it for you.
Just because they spending tenthousand dollars don't mean I
want to work with them.
Come on for real.
I will turn down money period.
Some folks is headaches, so youhave to be mindful.
But guess what?
I'm in control.
So every opportunity is notgoing to be for you, but be
(19:42):
prepared when the opportunityshows up.
Be prepared to accept ordecline.
How about that?
Be prepared to accept ordecline opportunities that are
presented to you, becauseeverything is not for you.
People are out here scammingand doing all kinds of crazy
(20:03):
stuff.
So you definitely want toconnect with integrity and you
want to make sure that it's abenefit for you and the barter
system.
Be careful with that.
It's not always a benefit foryou and the barter system be
careful with that.
It's not always a benefit foryou.
So just look, some little tipsyou can, you know, set to the
side, write them down, butremember them when it's
presented.
Okay, so, um, I do want to talkabout um authors.
(20:24):
Real quick, with the bulk sales, don't forget you can sell your
books to schools, corporations, churches or programs.
That's powerful.
That's another powerful tip.
I hope y'all be writing thisstuff down and remember, if you
miss the show, live on Rejoice102, you can always go to
(20:44):
PublishingBlackPodcastcom.
That's where I post all thereplays at Okay podcastcom.
That's where I post all thereplays at okay and so you can
go through and listen and getyour notebook and start applying
some of this stuff.
We are in july.
July gonna be over within fiveminutes, okay, so I'm gonna take
(21:05):
a real quick break and we'll beback.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Bye much fine gold.
I can't help but say it's alltrue.
It was some time ago since theday that I met you.
(21:47):
And if it wasn one thing I knowI could never forget you.
It was like the sun had risenand shone through my soul and
(22:08):
all the wrongs and hurts weregiven.
Love had taken control.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
All right.
So today was part two of theseven streams of income Building
income streams.
Why you sleep things that youdon't have to put in physical
work for is kind of what myfocus was for today and last
(22:49):
week, and again you can catchthe replay at
publishedinblackpodcastcom.
Okay, so I wanted to remind youguys the simple websites I did
mention Stan's store you alsohave when you're ready for full
websites.
You have Wix and you haveShopify.
Both of those allow you to selldigital products or physical
products, okay, and they're kindof user-friendly.
(23:14):
Shopify is kind of difficult forthose who are not tech savvy,
but I do design Shopify websites, so you want to get at me if
you are looking to get a Shopifywebsite done.
But listen, the thing is is tosit down and stop
procrastinating.
That is the whole, my wholething about this.
Stop procrastinating.
(23:35):
Okay, coaching courses, licensing, speaking merch Some
of y'all got t-shirts and stuffthat you sell and nobody know
about it Cause you just sellingthem to your church members or
you just selling them to yourfriends and family.
Get you a website up, or itcould be a one page.
You know what I mean.
But, um, and for those that areopposed to social media.
(23:57):
Stop doing that.
You leaving money on the table.
You are leaving money on thetable and you don't have to.
So you want to examine allthese?
And social media is free.
Let's just be honest it's free.
It's free, so why not use it?
It they're not charging us topost, you know.
(24:21):
So, um, because there's some ofy'all still out there don't want
to utilize social media, but,um, it's a benefit.
It have helped me.
Um, that's why I started mybusiness on social media,
literally going live onPeriscope.
Some of y'all don't know whatPeriscope is, but, um, I started
(24:41):
there and um broke in Atlanta.
I've mentioned that a few timesand, man, I just stayed
consistent.
I stayed consistent, I studiedmy craft, I studied how to
present it and that's what I didand I started.
I got my first $5,000 client Ikeep calling her $5,000, but she
(25:02):
ended up spending like $8,000with me.
She published two books with meand it went from there back to
back to back, and that was justpublishing.
We're not even talking aboutwhen I started offering
consulting and graphic designservices and websites and all
the other things that I do.
So what I did was I created myseven streams.
(25:24):
Thank y'all for following onTikTok.
Y'all can follow me on TikTokand Black Writer Space.
I was able to create my sevenstreams right inside of my lane.
Okay, and that's what you wantto do, because it's nothing
different.
Not saying you can't do nothingdifferent, but you want to
master what you already know, how to do the gifts that you
(25:46):
already have.
You want to master those?
Okay, and then, that way it'snot.
It's not so difficult to pivotwhen you need to pivot because
it's all surrounding everythingthat I offer Client services,
products, digital products,whatever.
All of that is surrounding whatI already do.
(26:06):
So coaching came naturallyOffering courses, webinars.
I've done webinars.
I had a group on Facebook whereI was teaching women how to
create their own journals onCanva right?
So these same resources that Igive out to you guys on air.
This is real life for me.
(26:27):
This is absolutely what I do.
I'm just now tapping into theselling the eBooks to the
corporations and now focusing onlocal and state contracts and
things like that.
I'm just getting to that level, but y'all, I'm surrounded by
people who are already doing it.
That's the power of surroundingyourself with the right people.
(26:50):
Ok, because if you aroundeverybody broke guess what?
Not going to happen.
Nothing's going to happen.
You're going to.
You're going to stay broke.
So you have to get aroundpeople who know more than you
whether it's sitting in on avideos, going to watch some of
their videos, all of that Takenotes.
(27:11):
I set in on free webinars and Itook notes and I wasn't applying
and one day I decided to applyit.
I didn't get nobody's approval.
I decided to apply it and itworked and I started posting on
Instagram consistently for 30days and I got an email.
(27:33):
The girls said I've beenfollowing your page and stalking
you for 30 days.
And I got an email.
The girls said I've beenfollowing your page and stalking
you for 30 days and I'm readyto publish my book.
I already saw your prices.
I mad you.
I had just increased my pricesfrom 3,000 to five grand.
She wanted the five grand.
It's always been like that.
So when I tell you mindset ispowerful, it's powerful.
I just need you to apply it andI'll see y'all next time.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
You have been

Greenhood.

more.
