(00:02):
Welcome to Pol Hook, golf, the podcast hostedby Matt Cook and Mike Perez.
Perez we go.
Episode number 10.
This feels fucking crazy to me that we are onepisode number 10, and we haven't been, like,
(00:26):
shut down by YouTube or by Apple Podcast.
Yeah.
Which is phenomenal.
I think we're just playing with house money atthis point.
But Mikey Perez, welcome back to the PullhawkGolf podcast.
We have an awesome guest tonight who happens tobe a long lost relative and, he goes by the
name of the fat Perez.
(00:47):
So, Mikey, why don't you tell us a little bitabout the fat Perez?
As we get this episode jump started.
Well, I think it's pretty great that he goes byname, And you love it for for you?
Well, I do because, you know, you you told meabout him.
And then I looked him up, obviously, at stuffand then the the mannerisms are pretty much the
(01:10):
same and and, I I like it swinging betterpersonally.
Buttsy I mean, I got a great swing.
Great swing.
He does.
He does.
But, you know, I thought it was it was great.
A great idea, Matty.
You reached out to him.
And made this happen.
And then him and I got in contact this weeksince you did, and we made sure.
(01:31):
Oh, it it had to happen.
I mean, there's the 3rd Perez brother, and wehad to have them.
Yes.
I mean, there was no doubt about it.
So starting out, I mean, obviously, fat Perez.
And I I feels weird just even calling you that.
I know.
I I do wanna know, like, where did this brandstart?
(01:53):
Like, how did you come with up with the idea ofturning something into a brand.
Like, I love hearing, by the way, entrepreneursand, like, how they come up with branding and
marketing.
So, like, to me, You've hit an absolute homerun here, and I'm just curious as to what what
led to that.
I appreciate it.
(02:13):
And thanks for, having me on guys.
Thanks for coming our pleasure.
Yeah.
I mean, I'd like to say that it, like, was aconscious effort to create something that it is
now, but it's definitely not the case.
Kinda always been just a a guy out thereplaying golf, having a good time with buddies.
And, you know, I it was only Mikey 2, maybe 3years ago that kind of nickname came about.
(02:36):
You know, I started growing my hair out at somepoint and, I think it was one day.
It was at at my buddy's club one day, I wasplaying with 2 buddies in mind that I played
golf with many, many times, and and one dudethat I had never played with.
And, that guy was pretty good.
He heard I was their buddy was pretty good, andhe wanted to play a match.
So, I usually show up, and I'm like, you know, how many strokes do you want that thing and be
(03:00):
like, fuck you.
I'm like, you know, who made you fuckingstrides for playing straight up?
I'm like, alright.
Cool.
Yeah.
Sure.
No problem.
So I think I was
like, I think
I was like, 4 under through 5 on this guy and, like, 4 up.
And, he's obviously getting pretty hot.
You know, I was playing great at it.
That's not normal.
Right?
Just happen to have a heater and at the expenseof this guy.
(03:21):
And, I think it was, like, the
same hole.
Yeah, the 6th hole, like, t Bobby, like, right, you know, going floor up and then I just
fucking smoke one right down the middle of thefairway.
And my buddies are like, dude, you're playing, like, great today.
You're looking like Pat Perez with the hair inthe game.
And this dude's, like, sitting in the car juststeaming.
He's, like, more like fucking fat Perez.
(03:41):
And, it just sort of, like, they loved it.
I didn't, you know, necessarily, you know, loveit.
Exactly.
Oh, of
course not.
I've
been off the bat.
Yeah.
I, yeah, I I see what he did there and Youknow, I thought it might just sort of die on
that Brown, but, I show up, like, the nextweekend and there's a dozen personalized golf
(04:02):
balls with that Perez on it.
It's a gift.
Oh my god.
Okay.
You guys aren't gonna let this go.
So, I just sort of rolled with it and, It wasjust kinda between me and and buddies and I
pretty much.
And then, you know, it kinda rolls into memeeting Bob really where it really steps up and
and all that.
So, yeah, I'd like to say that, like, I I satand thought about some nicknames and getting
(04:25):
into the golf space and all that, but it sorta, like, handed to me and against my against my
will and you just kinda run with it.
I mean
Yeah.
Kinda have to it.
Tax or facts.
You know?
Yeah.
A damn good job with them.
Tell you right now.
I mean
I mean, you ran with an idea that and here'shere's the crazy thing.
Like, did I wanna be partnered up with crazyMikey Perez Yes.
(04:46):
I kinda did.
Yes.
Yes.
It did.
You know, like, sometimes we get We're gonna
do clothing line first.
Thank god.
Just worked out better.
What do I know about clothing?
We get we get sometimes you get prompted withsomething that's just so peer in organic that
it's Mikey, it just takes off.
And that, I believe, is what has taken placewith you.
(05:08):
Now you and I haven't talked we haven't talkeda lot off air as of yet.
So this is all kind of fresh and so forth.
But I'm curious when it came to, like, actuallybuilding the brand around it, what was that
decision making like?
Now you mentioned Bob and we'll get to Bob andyeah.
Bobby Sports and, the brilliantly dumb show andso forth.
(05:29):
But, as we, yes, as we dive into that, Mikey, what made you decide?
Hey.
I'm gonna turn this into a business.
I I I had I had other people basically tellingme that it there was something to it that,
that, you know, either I just was like, youknow, who who who, you know, how could I, you
(05:50):
know, what am I?
Who am I type of thing?
Like, And they're just like, no.
Like, trust me.
Like, there's something here to this.
Like, people love the shit.
Every time you, you know, come on Instagram orwhatever it is with us, you know, it it pops
off and I had a I have a buddy I play kindalocal golf with some four balls and stuff.
It just happens to kinda be an entrepreneurtype guy with websites and e commerce, and he
(06:13):
actually does, like, design, school graphicdesign.
So
Perfect.
He's sorta he got, you know, he we probably hada the website built and the merch going, like,
way before it was reasonable to have that stuffout there.
But in retrospect, like, it was the smart, youknow, it it's great to have it there when all
this stuff has kinda happened.
And not sort of be fumbling to to kind of makeup the ground.
(06:38):
So, you know, I appreciate that from him forsure.
But, yeah, there's a lot of people telling meto basically shut the fuck up.
Stop stop stop saying there's something herewhen everyone else says there is.
So you have somebody wrong.
That's it.
You set it up on Shopify, which is smartbecause that's on demand orders.
Mikey, it might have been too early, but at thesame time, Like, it it's nothing out of your
(06:59):
personal.
Mikey, you said, right?
Exactly.
It was, you know, this house money is proof ofconcept.
Like, if it doesn't happen, you know, we go afew months and nothing happens and, like, you
just shut it Brown.
Not only that, but, I mean, they do take alittle bit more margins, but it allows you to
work your way up to where now, to where you'reat.
I'm like, I would imagine at this point,Probably a sponsor's gonna swoop in, take over,
(07:19):
and they're gonna start throwing your logos oneverything.
I mean, that's me as a media guy.
I see that as kind of that next step.
But as long
as you don't want change, they
better start to change.
Man.
Like, I've been I've been this way long beforethere's a camera in my face, and I'll I'll I'll
be this way long long when it leaves.
So
That's that's why I love Mikey.
(07:40):
My my
Mikey Mikey tore into Stevie Williams in in thein the last episode that we had because he
wrote a tele look.
He wants to I've been.
No.
I'm good.
True to their craft and true to themselves.
That's right.
Because you Mikey's done that through outthrough even 10 years of injuries because, I
(08:00):
mean, Mikey won the big break Disney.
Now did you know that your 3rd brother didthat?
Your long lost brother.
I did.
Yeah.
I re I remember watching this.
I love that show.
I'm it was a great show.
I don't know why they don't bring it back andhave, like, a champions edition.
I think you I think you did it hard, man.
I think you did it fast on me, to be honestwith you.
And, to be, oh, well, You know, I do remembergetting a phone call on that.
(08:23):
I just I was hurt.
I couldn't do anything.
But they didn't they never had it.
It wasn't.
No.
They had
they didn't have a past
champion 1.
Past champions 1.
No.
In contact, Brown, contact, and I actuallytalked about it.
We're, like, trying to get
Which, by the way, Brian contact is a mini tourlegend out here in Arizona.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
He's he's a great player, but he
(08:44):
He caddies now on tour.
Contact?
Yeah.
That's what Billy or, Billy, Bobby Brown wouldsay.
Brannish.
Brannish.
No, Bobby Conte.
No.
No.
No.
No.
Brown Branish.
Oh, am I wrong here?
Yes.
Bobby was saying that he catties now.
On the LPGA?
I'd I don't know.
(09:05):
I digress.
We'd have to go back
and go back.
It's it's early for it to be.
So I I digress.
You you
Because I'm going off of what Bobby said in theepisode because I've been going through the
episode since I
had it then.
I'm trying to remember.
Well, you would know best thought I thought itwas obviously either way.
That's I I didn't know he was doing that, or Iforgot, or the boost kicked in.
1 of the 2.
But but I do think there should be a championsedition.
(09:26):
Right?
I would love it.
There's a champions addition to everything.
Am I wrong, Fab Perez?
We should have.
I think so.
I I think that it would it would crush on awhole, like, different levels.
And I think before the big break was kinda likea jump start for, like, up and coming pros
right, and you want some exemptions and you gotsome things out of it and some exposure.
What's that?
You know, and and I think there's stillsomething to that in in doing that sort of
(09:49):
model, but I think you could do Brown break,Mikey, influencer.
Right?
And you could get kind of all
How cool would that be?
Competition together just to, you know, and, Imean, there doesn't need to be anything at the
end of it.
Maybe just some
I agree.
Right?
I agree.
I feel like we gotta reach out to the contactsat golf channel because how cool would it be to
have the big break in the winter edition andhave Mikey Perez who has a 30 inch waist, and
(10:16):
it looks like a twig.
And then you've got the math for us.
I'm not even gonna ask my man.
Mikey, Buttsy how great would that feedback youwould have would have you two standing next to
each other.
42?
Yeah.
Yeah.
There you go, Natalie.
Yeah.
No.
That'd be ridiculous.
You get, like, granite out there.
You get, like, manolo there.
Right.
And Lee Ostrom who's on
(10:37):
wants to do it.
Like, it's a, you know, I mean, these people,like, it it's there's a little there's a
talking a little bit Mikey ego.
For sure.
Yeah.
Of course.
Oh, trust me.
I deal with that on a daily basis with Mikey.
I think, I mean, at any of the day, the botchannel Office channels doesn't care what the
prize is.
Right?
They just want eyes on on TVs and, like, youyou're you Brown an audience.
(10:59):
Like, everything's in an audience.
It's about numbers.
Can you put people in front
of their
TVs Exactly.
To watch something?
And I think influencers show.
Especially especially if they do a deal towhere the influencers have to post it on their
pages because think of that reach.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, gee, you've got close to 50,000 thatPerez, and Mikey got about 92.
(11:20):
So, I mean, butu 2 combined, we got about5,050,092.
I mean, we're working
too.
I'm
getting there.
Getting there.
2 twos of 2 there.
I I forced Mikey to reactivate Instagram, andhe had to start from scratch, like, literally a
couple weeks ago.
So Yeah.
I I I take that with a grain
of salt.
Oh, it's okay.
He's actually more than that.
(11:41):
He's close to 200 now.
Yeah.
I mean, shit.
Where are you?
Close to 3.
Close to 3.
Close to 3 and for whatever I do.
You know, I know it takes time and and you knowhow I felt about social media and all that
stuff.
And but Well, now that
the only way to grow an Instagram account isthrough Reals, I'm an old That's organically
anyways.
You have to pay for everything else.
Yeah.
FP.
I'm an old school guy.
(12:01):
So, you know, I'm just
I like that.
FP.
Can we roll with that?
Because I feel like I'm insulting you everytime I see you.
Yeah.
He's good at it.
That's that's what I get called.
Alright.
Perfect.
That's what I a double p.
I get comfortable p.
I'm glad you said that, Mikey, because I I feltawkward every time.
You could tell that I would say an or baserbefore.
(12:22):
I'm actually saying.
Right?
So it's hard
to.
Yeah.
No.
That's not that's what the mogo should you canturn the f into a p somehow, like a backward
key.
This is why Mikey not in charge of any of that.
Well, no, you could.
My first logo, Buttsy first logo proof was Andthen I, like, obviously, it couldn't work.
It was Mikey, you know, like, the PXG logo.
(12:42):
Right?
Yep.
And it was it was FX p, and then it was alittle l underneath the x.
X l?
Like X l.
Yeah.
Yes.
Wow.
That's pretty good.
It's actually pretty good branding there.
Bob might see you, though.
Bob might see you.
Oh, yeah.
Parson might see you on that one.
He's like, you'll just do me or sign Yeah.
(13:03):
But FFP is perfect, but I do like Sometimes
you gotta force their hand.
You know?
It's not you might do it.
F.
That's okay.
And then p.
Yeah.
Boy, I could keep.
Yeah.
I like the F.
P.
I do too.
F.
P.
Yeah.
P's solid.
Yeah.
It's but hang on a second.
That leads us right into the next topic that Iwanna talk about, which is the euro step.
Now we are talking a little bit off air.
(13:24):
And you were saying that the Eurostep reallydidn't come for much.
It just kinda happened.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I honestly wish I, like, I thought about itbecause people have asked me about it.
And I honestly think I was just, like, watchingan NBA game, like, the night before.
They're, like, the first time I did it andmight have just, like, saw someone do a sec
Eurostep.
Can't even tell you who it was or what game itwas and just, like, I broke it out.
(13:45):
I mean, you do have a sick Eurostep.
I mean,
you know, is this a dance?
Something something.
No.
Buttsy Mikey is our other Mike Mikey, is golfyour only sport that you actually ever, like,
cared about?
And surfing.
And Surf.
Well, yeah, you just watch heat.
It's it's harder to do in that time of themoment.
(14:07):
I'm I'm not I'm not disagreeing with you.
I'm not gonna digress in that topic.
If I do like anything.
If I do if I do watch, you know, I like the XGames and Alright.
So you're you're more
of There's not a football.
I like college football because it's hard.
Sure.
You know, I do like college football.
But you're not you're not a you're not abasketball guy.
You're not a basketball guy.
(14:29):
You're not you're not really a football guybecause you keep talking about it on, like,
every episode how you ate the episode.
Oh, my friends are retired in their sports.
So I don't have any I mean, we had
we had Perez Anderson on The retiredquarterback who's been in the league for 12
years.
Mikey, he's saying I hate football.
Yeah.
No.
No.
I I love when he played, honestly, the builderthese
(14:50):
guys And here's the thing.
Perez still went out and played golf with him,and I'm jealous of shit because I never got an
invite.
So they went out and played
golf with him.
It wasn't my call.
You know that.
You know that.
I'm just busting your chest.
I know you
are busting your balls there, Mikey.
But I know.
Going back going back to your step.
Viking.
So to yeah.
(15:10):
Thank you, by the way, for, oh, never mind.
If the thought rating.
Yes.
Exactly.
I'm I'm a cinco de Drinko birthday.
So I I I've had a lot of good birthdays.
So my Mexican day on my Mexican day.
On your Mexican day.
Fee.
Well, you're Mexican.
No.
You don't look more Mexican than I know.
(15:32):
He's the adopted 3rd brother.
Okay?
Correct.
Right.
Exactly.
Now as we talk about the Eurostep, to explainthis to Mikey and to our audience that might be
athletically inept,
I'm athletic.
Don't need to stop, but I I am.
I just don't know sports.
You're I like horse racing.
(15:52):
Yeah.
Is that a turn?
That's a sport?
That is a sport.
And, actually, the Kentucky Derby just have in,and, there's a huge step in either one.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's thinking it wasn't on that because Ialways bet those long shots.
You should've.
I mean, you could've been to anyone right now.
Yeah.
It really is.
But having a veteran guy like that on the horseYeah.
(16:13):
Actually makes you kinda think I should haveput something down.
You've always been a long shot.
Oh, yeah.
No.
You've you've always bet a gun that knows whatthe fuck he's doing.
That too.
But when plays are shown, you always do it.
Yeah.
It's only down $20.
That's your Del Mart days, Mister CartifButtsy.
That's right.
So, yeah, Mikey used to complain on the showabout how he had the rough childhood of riding
(16:36):
the cart of bus where they serve espresso onthe bus.
And Yeah.
Right.
Bus ride ever.
You go along the coastline.
Everybody's in suits and ties.
Now that's completely false.
Crazy.
I was on a speech.
Buttsy the Eurostep, Mikey, so that I canfinally get this out.
The Eurostep is a basketball move.
(16:58):
As you go to the hoop, it used to be called atravel back in the Now it's called a Euro step.
Yeah.
Okay.
See, Mikey, Mikey's catching on.
He he'll get there.
Yeah.
It's a little changed direction a little,
like, fake the week, pick up the 2 of yourgoals,
but then you just yeah.
James Harden is is just a freaking gangster atit.
I mean So it's something to say.
It's a noble kind of
brought to nobody.
(17:18):
That guy's never.
Yeah.
He ain't nobody brought us to the NBA, and andand basically was Mikey, you can't take all the
trouble, like, That's what I did in SouthAmerica.
You can't you can't
You can't do that.
Yeah.
Didn't you nobody always get away witheverything or everything.
So elaborate.
You know?
Yeah.
Just like these soccer players.
Nobody wanted to deal with them.
I think he was Italian, wasn't he?
(17:40):
So no.
Argentinian.
Argin on it.
Yeah.
He No.
That could be it.
Actually do know that.
I do know.
I think he was I think he's Argentinian.
Yeah.
Well, he's a good he's a good actor.
I learned something new every day.
Good.
What do
you get?
A Grammy or an Emmy for actor?
Right?
Yeah.
I should've gotten something.
And that's an Emmy.
Yeah.
Graham.
I should know that.
I'm used
to it.
Graham is music.
You'd be a Golden Globe.
(18:01):
Well, ever since metallica lost the Gramming aJethro tall back in 91.
I stopped.
Oh, here we go.
Oh, here we go.
God.
Let's get a
message.
Matallica, Jeff told
us When was the last time?
Mikey, when was the last time a metal band wonanything?
(18:21):
That was a well, I I I don't understand how n wa.
I don't understand how my n w's a's in the rockand roll all day.
Mikey, they're back in the nineties, my man.
Buttsy know that, but the it's not rock androll.
No.
But why are you why are you bringing them up
to Cause it irritates me.
Argue.
(18:41):
It's a possum 30 something er or, I don't know.
I honestly probably Have you seen Mikey'sInstagram page?
We were talking about this with Bobby Brown.
The dudes get some, some it's just a guitarlicks all over the place.
It's everywhere.
It's everywhere.
There's 8 there's 8 to 10 posts on a dailybasis.
(19:02):
Absolutely.
When he first started, I go, Mikey, I thinkthat's too much, buddy.
No.
No.
No.
These people need me.
And he told me.
He's like, Matt, people need to see the guitar?
These are real pea these musicians, how they'renot bigger than they are is beyond me.
Then you got some guy singing, like, into amicrophone like this, who you just push a
(19:23):
button and they go, oh, I'm gonna sing see.
I'm gonna see I'm gonna see singing the C noteor, in, you know, an a Mikey.
And it's gonna do it automatically.
For me.
And then there's gonna be a keyboard with adrum track and all this and that.
And I'm gonna make 1,000,000 of dollars andsell out to the record label.
I respect the hustle.
Yeah.
You know what?
(19:43):
You know, screw the hustle.
I gotta I want results.
I'm I'm I'm I'm with your adopted brother, FP,on this one.
Your long lost brother.
I see.
No.
See, you gotta go after the dollar.
What happened to the 5 guys getting a room 5days, 7 days a week?
That was you, Mike.
That's right.
And now let me you're you're on a podcast.
(20:05):
That's great because I love this podcast.
And but that's the way music should have beendone.
Yeah.
I've I've I feel you, man.
You know, these these days.
Oh, play.
Boom.
When you said he he went to Pearl Jam.
Last is that
last night?
I was there last night.
Yeah.
Last night there.
And then
I'm surprised Mike is looking as fresh.
As he is today.
(20:26):
Yeah.
No.
It was So, Mike, was this a tribute band?
Because, obviously, Pearl Jam's not togetheranymore.
What are you talking about?
It should be bad.
Yeah.
Am I right?
Are you crazy?
Oh, no.
I'm sorry.
I'm thinking of Nirvana.
Oh my god.
I can't believe
I just did that.
My bad.
Yeah.
Well, and then, obviously, we had the, oh, boy.
(20:48):
Are you taking a leap?
God.
This I I have nowhere to go with this.
I needed you on this, Mikey?
Pearl jam.
I'm No.
I needed Nirvana.
So David Groll, his, who who just passed away?
Oh, it was the it was the drummer from Yes.
(21:09):
Oh, gosh.
I see.
Taylor.
Yep.
Taylor's the
name, man.
He he passed away.
About, I wanna say, 4 weeks now.
Yeah.
A terrible loss.
Awful.
I I saw Foo Fighters live here in Phoenix.
Same.
It was unreal.
Like, and I wasn't even that big of a fan oftheirs up until I went to see him in concert.
Yeah.
Right?
See, all it takes is one gate kid.
(21:31):
It really
does.
Guys have realized changed.
This is music.
This is rock and roll.
What Dave Grille does, he still records analogbecause he's he took the soundboard from Sun
City Music's Music, which was where Tom Pettydid everything.
That's where I love Petty.
All these big names then Fleetwood Mac.
(21:52):
Fleetwood Mac uses this this big old mixer.
I mean, that's the way music, and you cut tapeand you put it on, then you record that guitar
track, but y'all play together and do it.
That's the right way to do it.
You don't have to hide behind the technologythat
There you go.
There's no auto tune up yet.
Buttsy Dave Rowe bought that mixer becauseSound City went out of business.
(22:13):
So, yeah, but Taylor So
hang on a second.
How did I not know that Pearl Jam was in town?
I thought we talked about it the other day.
I got literally invited literally an hour.
Yeah.
You know how I found out about this FP?
You saw it on my
I saw his Instagram.
Oh, boy.
Did I literally had
I was like, hey, bro.
(22:34):
Thanks for the invite.
I literally had an hour a half to get ready.
And then I told her, I go, get your ass up, getyou in the shower.
We're going.
We're going.
We're going.
It's pearl jam.
Yeah.
It's hard to yeah.
It's hard to turn.
Yeah.
Eddie Vetter, man.
We had a cool we had
a cool suite.
Mike Mike Poe invited us, him and his wife Andhe's Mikey, he he looks funny about this.
(22:54):
Has a setup.
But what's kinda fun yeah.
What's kinda funny about this though, it isthat he turned on our podcast and he left work.
And he's like, I gotta do an approach now.
Who should I bring?
And then our podcast came on.
And he goes Wow.
There you go.
Mike Perez.
And he called me.
I go, hey, I'm just finishing up some work forthe Gateway golf group and I'll call you back.
(23:15):
And then he said something not so nice.
And then I called him back 20 Buttsy, when Isaid I was done, and he's like, problems down.
Let's go.
I got a good spot.
Yeah.
Your your
table.
It was a nice table.
Everything was great.
More importantly, he was driving.
And it was it was great.
(23:37):
And we had applied.
Where was it at?
It was at, it's not called jobbing arena now.
It was at Westgate over there right next towhere the Cardinals play.
Was it in the hockey arena, the kind of
Yes.
Wow.
Great sound in that arena too.
So I love Hockey arenas.
He got a little liberal and he's democratic, though.
(23:57):
Oh, boy.
Here you go.
I got it.
I'm gonna have to edit this out.
We can't we can't get into politics.
Buttsy he did cover for a lot, but he did agood the the I mean, McCready is just an insane
guitar player.
Listen, we don't wanna get taken down byYouTube.
Okay?
We're not.
They were great.
They were great.
They they nailed it.
We were out of there and, you know, I'm glad itwent because I haven't got out of the house and
(24:20):
we had a blast and, but yeah, sorry you had tofind out that way, partner.
Hey.
No worries.
Yeah.
FP.
Now since we're talking about YouTube andYouTube peers, how did you end up meeting Bob
Does Sports?
I mean, Bobby is, I on the East Coast, whichI'm originally a a New Yorker, I had before
(24:41):
COVID, as our audience knows, I had a golffacility in Midtown Manhattan, called golf Pros
NYC.
And Okay.
I I found him just through, like, scrollingthrough Instagram one day.
And I'm like, holy shit.
This guy's fucking funny.
But Yeah.
And and I actually started to, like, I I wasn'tstalking by any means.
I'm just like, holy shit.
That flip's funny.
(25:02):
Holy shit.
That clip's funny.
And I probably look like a psycho ex girlfriendjust Mikey liking, like, old stuff.
Go back, like, here.
And then and then I then I then I sent him aDM.
And I'm like, dude, you are the funniestmotherfucker that I have heard in a long time.
Like, this is original content.
It's really freaking good.
I mean, him with the sushi guy, him with thebarber, like, all this stuff is absolutely
(25:25):
great.
If you haven't seen it, you gotta check it out.
Sorry, Bobby like, I'm giving you a freaking, like, all of a sudden, a little promo here.
Hey.
Like, FP, how did you end up getting with thoseguys?
Because that led into a little bit further onthat we're gonna talk about with foreplay and
these Sure.
With these challenges that went on, but Mikey, how did that all come about?
(25:45):
Yeah.
So, like, even before Bob De Sports kind ofstarted, he was around doing videos.
It's it's brilliantly Dom.
It's his Instagram handle.
And, so he's from North Jersey and, I think, like, Randolph area, something like that.
I don't know that area too well, but He's outin LA now.
He's been in cold cuts live out in LA.
So They
made the move?
Oh, yeah.
He's been there for for 5, 4, 5 years probably.
(26:10):
Jersey
LA, Jersey.
See, I I this
entire time, I thought he's been in thenortheast.
I mean, he's talking about this sushi guy, likeFujimoto that I'm just like, holy cow.
Sure.
Sure.
Yeah.
Been there in
a while.
So, so, yeah, during I kinda always followedhis his stuff.
I had a buddy that kinda turned me on to, like, one of his videos back in the day.
(26:30):
So I followed him, but, like, you know, I Iwasn't, you know, I'd listened to his podcast
every once in a while, and he knows this.
So, you know, but I wasn't Mikey, you know, Iwasn't like a religious listener and follower
of his necessarily.
I, you know, I like the, like, not today, Bob,that he did in, to Bubba at the Genesis that
stuff was pretty funny.
Oh my gosh.
That actually is great.
(26:51):
Mikey, you haven't seen that stuff.
Who wait.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Hold on.
What name did he say?
Jerry.
Okay.
Jerry.
I'll I'll translate.
So Mikey doesn't call anybody by anything
about their
their surname.
So Okay.
Mike and on every year.
So he has corrected.
I I
I'll I'll Everybody that's been
on.
Jerry.
So, you know Yeah.
I'll get on board with that.
(27:11):
I don't know if it's on board with Jerry.
Jerry with the g at the Genesis because that'sjust what you do.
And, so he said not today, Jerry.
And, that's the guy the whole time.
And, that shit was hilarious.
I think that made the golf channel even.
Right?
That was a that was a big, like, viral video.
So It was.
(27:32):
So, yeah, so fast forward, like, kind of COVIDtime.
Well, I guess it was right before COVID, orright at the start of it.
I was working late at the office and I justhappened to look at my phone and he had this
kind of post about, these, like, Zoom happyhours that he was doing, with, like, followers.
Right?
So I was just, like, you know, screw it.
(27:55):
You know, I'll I'll join.
I'm I'm here at work late.
Like, I'll put a little background noise on.
It'll be like a live podcast.
Like, no big deal.
Like, if it's if it's awful, I'll just turn itoff.
So I logged into the thing and, like, I waslike, I'm not gonna turn my camera on and then
everybody else had their camera on.
So I
was like, alright.
Fine.
I'll turn my camera on.
I'm just kinda sitting in my at my desk.
And, and then I'm like, Kent, there's like ahundred people in here that I don't I don't
(28:20):
know these people at all.
I'm sitting in my workplace of work.
I don't really wanna, like, have my name upthere.
Yeah.
For sure.
Some retrospect.
I don't know why I cared, but I just it's like,alright.
Well, what am I gonna put?
And I was like, alright.
Yeah.
I'll put that for us.
Yeah.
We use Perez.
You can't.
So I put that for us up on Zoom.
Right?
We're looking we're looking at now.
(28:40):
And he's just kinda scrolling through, and I'mjust kinda working, like, doing my thing on all
my screens, and he just sees me.
And it's just Mikey, We got a new guy here, like, haven't seen me before, Mikey, the
fucking way.
Yeah.
He's not found on a fucking cozy
zoom.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So no case, like, you wanted to
hear somebody.
And I was like, well, so, like, you know, yougot, like, a an office kitchen.
(29:04):
Right?
And I, you
know, it's pretty laid back where where I amwhere we, you know, keep beer in there for,
like, you know, when 5 o'clock hits you, you'restill working to grab a beer.
No big deal.
So, So yeah.
Well, you know, corporate.
Hey, listen.
That's that's for the guys who just go out andplay golf.
Right.
So, like, So my I was gonna get a beer and Iand I'd gone to the fridge before I kinda
(29:27):
logged on in my and all the beer was gone.
So I was like, I know my fucking boss drank mybeer.
So, like, I'm still on that.
Yeah.
Let's do it on that.
And it's fine.
Like, we do that.
Like, but, like, you buy history somewhere nearyou.
Replace the next one.
You don't drink somebody else's last beer.
I'm sorry.
You leave your
last part.
Here's the deal.
If they're not at the office and they have beerin the fridge, You can drink the beer, but by
(29:50):
the time they get to the office You
gotta refill it.
You bet.
Yeah.
You better come into the office with a reup oftheir beer.
For sure.
And actually go for it because it's Mikey, I'llhave 3 beers left in, like, a 12 pack.
And if you drink my 3 beers, you gotta put a 12pack in there.
So I'm
the winner on that one.
I I agree.
I agree.
So I'm like, alright.
He's like, you wanna do a cheer for the thehappy hour.
(30:12):
And I was like, well, I'd love to, but myasshole manager drank all the beer in the
fridge, so I need to have a conversation aboutthat.
Unbelievable.
What's this guy's name and address?
Right.
Exactly.
He's cool.
He he, you
know, he
That's right.
I Brown him
I own
him the
world and all this stuff.
So Good.
I was like, yeah.
Like, it might be his fridge, but it's myfucking beer.
(30:32):
So that's the conversation.
Right?
So they love that.
And I just was like, alright.
Well, that was not horrible.
Like, that was a lot of fun.
Like, I'll just if I can, I'll I'll keeplogging in week to week.
So
Sure.
He was doing them, like, weekly or biweekly, onZoom on, like, Thursdays and
So I
was just kinda doing it for a little bit.
And so I guess I was just sort of like, youknow, a follower, right?
(30:54):
Like a fan of his.
And, So then he I I knew he was going toPinehurst back, like, March of last year,
actually.
And I was down there with my wife that weekend.
Just happened to be down there.
I live in I live in Richmond, Virginia.
So Right.
I'm east coast, and I'm about 3, 3 a half hoursfrom there.
It's not far.
So I go down there every once in a while and,you know, convince my wife that it's like a
(31:17):
trip for us when it's really just a trip forme.
And, And so I was down there, so I just stayedan extra day.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're you're filling the bill.
Right?
So I, like, hit him up.
I hit actually hit, Joey up.
His buddy cold cuts.
Yeah.
Joey cold cuts.
He's like, yeah.
I was like, hey.
Joey cold cut.
Well, he's fucking terrible, but he's just gota great personality.
(31:39):
He's something else, man.
So I, I just hit him up.
It was like, hey.
I'm I'm actually gonna be down there.
Like, no pressure, but, guys wanna grab adrink, like, we'll love to get a drink.
No, you know, no big deal.
If not.
So, like, no, definitely we'll grab a drinkbecause they, by that time, they kinda
recognize my name and, like, new.
Yeah.
That's on there.
What a wholesome little story we got going onhere.
Yeah.
So then, so I met him on the I met him on theputting green of Pineers.
(32:04):
Right by the cradle.
That's the first time you met him in person?
Yeah.
First time a met him in person.
So, What a
great facility, by the way.
Pines number 2.
Don't mean to interrupt you, but I'm going tobecause finals number 2, I went there in
college.
Our college golf team ended up going out there.
A man.
Yes.
Like, pie I fell in love with number 2.
I fell in love with it.
(32:25):
Well, Mikey Needles.
Have you ever played Pine Needles?
Yeah.
Pine Needles great.
Yeah.
That's it that's a fun golf course.
Yeah.
And that's where ladies play.
They've had a US Open there, I believe.
Yeah.
I have one this year.
Yeah.
Pine noodles is I mean, Pine noodles listen.
If you're gonna go down and do the pinehurststuff and go and go down and stay a pinehurst,
(32:46):
go pine needles and just have yourself a funtime because that is a blast of a golf course.
Yeah.
I mean, you can go to Pinehurst and play golffor 4 days and never play a number.
And you're gonna
have a good trip.
Like, there's a lot of good golf down there.
I'd rather go there than abandon.
Well, we had Mister Short Game on.
Mikey, did you see Mister Short Game?
And what he did recently.
(33:06):
He went down to Pinehurst and have a tea time.
He went into the clubhouse and he was like, hey.
I'm Mister Short game.
I've got this many followers.
And I don't know if that's exactly how it wentdown, but they they turned him down.
And so he posted it on social media that, hey,if anybody who wants to play with me tomorrow,
let me know, and I'll come out and play withyou.
And so I think he ended up getting a spot.
(33:27):
I I I'm not a 100% positive there.
Really?
Mikey, Danta, He he utilized his assets.
Let's put it that way.
Kinda like, somebody else we know, in the golfspace who, By the way, I'm not gonna digress
off of this story.
We'll get to that one in a second with withutilizing assets on social media.
(33:48):
In order to gain followers and likes and allthat good stuff because I feel like you're the
equivalent just on the male side, but we'll getto that in a second.
Let's go back to your How so you're onPinehurst number 2.
Well, you're you're sitting there on theputting green.
You meet Bob and and, like, was there just aninstant chemistry there?
Yeah.
(34:08):
I mean, we, you know, we kinda, you know, Iknew his vibe just because the the the happy
hours were kind of a casual thing and, like, you know, you're drinking and stuff like that.
So you know, it was it was just sort of Mikey, you know, I it was just cool to meet him and,
like, you know, I I I'm not I don't get allbent out of shape on that stuff.
Like, Sure.
They're just guys and, like, I That's exactlyit.
(34:29):
Yeah.
I kinda knew I, you know, I've had enoughexposure to them to realize that, like, I would
like to hang out with these guys or, we'd havea good time type things.
That's really all it was.
It was just like, you know, cool to finally seehim in person type thing, and I think they felt
the same way.
And so it was it was cool.
And, like, Bobby, forever, the content guy has, like, he's he's phoned out first.
(34:49):
Right?
So before I even, like, talk to him, he'sphoned out, like, me coming down, like, around
the practice scene?
Is he a purist when it comes to content?
Oh, he's content first.
He's really, I can't cross that threshold.
I don't know what it is.
I just, like, it it never crosses by We don'thave time.
To break out my phone.
Yeah.
I mean, either, you know, I think it's Mikeysecond nature.
(35:11):
Right?
I think he's been making videos, like, thiskind of stuff for a long time.
There's so many, like, skits.
Right?
Yeah.
We're Mikey, I call them
skits.
In high school, even, like, the bind dates, which which you might remember.
Right?
But, like Oh,
I love ones.
So, like, he's always been a content guy.
So and then definitely at this point, he'sstopped.
So, like I heard about them.
(35:32):
Yeah.
So he's He was ready to go.
So he's got the moment that, like, I'm kindawalking up, and I got a cigar in my mouth,
Mikey, a couple golf balls of putter because Iwas just hitting some putts kinda, like,
waiting for them to kind of show up type thingand, staffing up.
He's, you know, he's he's got the whole intro, like, on video, which is crazy.
And then, so, yeah, we
(35:52):
You guys dapped up.
You like, you guys looked like you knew eachother for years.
It's just it was a clean dap.
Which you just always
start to start something good.
It doesn't always happen that way.
It's actually very rare.
And that's why when I saw that, I'm like, oh,you guys have known each other for ages.
No.
Is that correct?
Wow.
That was the first one.
First step.
That's awesome.
So you're a cigar smoker.
(36:12):
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Mikey.
Take a look at No.
I saw a the scrambled.
Pictured, the cartoon picture.
Well, then you then you got then you got FPlaying on the ground.
This lake's crossed stuck in a cigar.
I mean, there there's not a classier move.
No.
I don't think it's fair.
No matter how bad I'd feel, I'm still gonnasmooth the cigar Yeah.
Do you know what's crazy is in I love in theshirts?
(36:33):
And there's one shirt in particular and the peathe logo of the
tour, Yeah.
Yeah.
Where your finish is identical to doubles.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
It's it's it's nuts, especially when He's kindajust, like, hanging there and just, like,
hoping
to do what he's supposed to do.
(36:55):
And then he'll bitch a complaint, and it'sprobably 15 feet.
But, but it's almost identical.
Wow.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
He's got
a good he's got
a nice little kinda high, held off
finish.
Yeah.
He's not wrapping around his neck or anythinglike that.
Correct.
Well, the hair gets in the way.
That's right.
Exactly.
The hair gets in the way, and then god knowswhat else you know, for me,
it's like padding.
(37:15):
Right?
So I
don't wanna bruise the back of
my head.
You you don't wanna do that.
I mean,
I've been I've been good a lot.
He's got a lot, but no.
He used
to have a skin fade.
No.
I don't.
Let's get better.
Yes, man.
Like, it was
So partners.
Yeah.
So it was cool.
So just sort of did that, and we went and had acouple of drinks kinda on that back boards,
which is awesome right behind 18 minutes.
(37:36):
Yes.
Yeah.
So they I played that morning, not with them, and they they played number 8, I think, that
day, if I remember correctly.
So then it was like, alright.
You know, and then to me, that was it.
Like, I was just trying to, like, just saywhat's up and, like, you know, no big deal.
Like, if it would've ended it, like, drinks onthat patio and, like, it's cool.
Like, that was that was it.
(37:58):
How nice.
But they were like, hey, we're going to dinnerover at the end, like, down the road,
like, down the com.
I was like, sure.
Yeah.
I've got the fuck.
I got nothing going
on.
Right.
Because my wife had gone it was a Sunday.
So my wife had kinda gone back home, and I wasjust saying for for another night.
So I didn't have any.
That sucks.
Yeah.
Terrible.
And, So I had dinner with them, and that wasfun.
(38:20):
And that was kinda Mikey, they hadn't theydidn't they knew I had played golf.
Right?
Obviously, I played golf, but they didn't knowMikey, what my game is like?
The calmer of golf.
They they didn't know you were a good golfer.
Right.
You scratch.
You scratch.
Yeah.
What is your handicap?
Mikey a 1a half.
Yeah.
Plus?
No.
No.
Really?
You're not a plus?
I've been a plus.
(38:40):
I've been, like, a plus 3, 3a half.
Do you just knock it out that much?
Because that's always what it is.
I play a lot.
I'm not gonna act like I don't play a lot.
I play a lot, but I don't
yeah.
From what I've seen you do play a lot.
I mean, you're you're frustrated.
Your swing is goddamn money.
I mean, you're right out playing.
Yeah.
But you you are.
I mean, you know, I'm not great.
(39:02):
I got a great stretch for you when I see you.
Okay.
Good.
Yeah.
I need I need
to hold your backs.
Do you think I'm what I'm missing?
This is, like, when leadbetter This is, like, when leadbetter
Okay.
And you offered to take the Ukrainian kid anddrive them around to these golf courses.
I'm like, that's more dangerous than this kidbeing in Ukraine right now.
But
Well, as long as he keeps grabbing me a drinkfrom the back cooler, I'll
(39:22):
use that.
You stretch it out, somebody.
Hey.
Remember when I did it with Mister Shorecay?
I went to Bridges.
You know, people love that stretch and peoplecan't do it, but that stretch helps.
You couldn't do it.
No chance.
And I've choked bigger men than you, Johnny.
Dude, I can't even touch my toes.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Well, that's because your hamstrings are tornfrom playing softball.
Yeah.
(39:43):
Fair game.
You're yeah.
You Actually,
So, Effie, I gotta tell you a quick littlestory since Mikey brought up softball.
So I I'm on the softball team, which Mikeyfiance and I, to give you long story short,
when we came out to Arizona, right as COVID washappening, And I turned Gulf Pros NYC into a a
(40:04):
a lead generation tool to where it connectsgolfers in New York City with professionals
based off their skill level.
That's great.
I noticed that, like, every every pro has adifferent skill in terms of, like, how good of
a golfer they can work with.
There's better at beginners, better at experts.
Buttsy, with that said, we we knew all the golfpros in New York City.
(40:28):
So when we shut down our shop, we're like, alright.
We're getting all these people still inquiring.
Let's start to set them up with the rightprofessionals and it's just been a hit ever
since.
But with that, when we came out to Arizona, myfiance has always lived in New York her entire
life, so she wanted to meet some friends.
So I told her, I was like, alright.
Let's, she goes, how can we meet some newfriends out here?
(40:48):
And I go, well, there's two ways.
We can go play golf.
Or we can go play softball.
I'm like, Arizona, you are always outside.
Like, that's how you meet people.
Sure.
And so she throws softball because she didn'twant me teaching her.
And so I
don't blame you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I get that.
In the in the very first game, which we'vetalked about before.
I know, Mikey.
(41:09):
I know we've talked about this, and I'm Bobby, but I pulled both hamstrings the first game.
Oh, wow.
So I have independent athlete.
You had a shape.
You just had a shape.
Big time out
of shape.
Big time.
But as soon as I had, like, an athletic movethat I had to make, there was, like, a a hit in
the gap.
It came out
of her golf.
The lateral Brown.
After a couple rounds of golf.
It it really And
then sure enough, after the first one went, Itwas Mikey a little dribbler on the second one
(41:32):
in between because so I had to go in and pitchthe next inning because I couldn't I couldn't
move.
So I'm pitching and somebody hits a littledribbler.
And the competitive effort out of me doesn'tlet it go.
I have to run over and, like, go to grab theball.
And when I go to reach down for it, pop goesthe other one.
And so I've been I've been I'm back now,though.
I I actually can run now.
(41:53):
I'm good.
Like, Softball.
Like, we won our our last game.
F.
He's fishing about his hamstrings, and I justhad my knee torn open from one side to another
in mussels moved and have titanium in there.
And I'm like, don't tell me your war storiesbecause you're out of shape and you don't
stretch.
(42:14):
The stretching is crucial.
So but he dig
it.
He dig it.
That's all I do.
I stress.
I hate that.
I hate that guy, Jim.
What if the new Jim,
I would go to Jim.
I would go see that guy, Jim, if they took the
mirrors out.
They took the mirrors out, and they Oh, thatlook good.
Oh, I look awesome.
Hey.
Come on.
(42:34):
Floated.
Hey.
Look at me.
This isn't the the softball wasn't the point ofthe story.
It's the fact that one of the new guys that Imet, Mikey fiance, we're we're sitting there we
ended up going out, and there's this couplethat
Absolutely.
What?
Phenomenal people.
Excuse me.
What the fuck?
And so we go out.
We have, we we went out for a few drinks withthem.
And the guy, all of a sudden, Alyssa, myfiance, she goes, you know, you should tell him
(43:00):
about the podcast because the other guy is abig golfer.
Who's who's playing in the league.
And I'm like, oh, yeah.
I've got this podcast.
I try to keep it located.
Like, I
hate I hate bragging.
He does.
He he loves it and actually You know what hesays to me?
I Brown about it all
the time.
As soon as it came up and we started goingthrough some of the people that we've had on
the The show so far, he goes, you know who youshould have on?
(43:23):
You should have on the fat Perez.
Wow.
Okay.
Holy fuck.
I was
like, he's coming on on Tuesday.
That's crazy.
So you've made it nationally, my friend.
To where, like, you don't even realize Mikeystory earlier with the people that were like,
hey.
I've heard your podcast or this or that.
Like, we're small time right now.
(43:44):
You you right now.
Like, you've made it nationally.
You've made it
out to Arizona.
It's crazy, man.
The
whole thing is the whole thing's been just akinda crazy ride and
a lot of just a
lot of things that happen that just Mikey, youknow, easily could just not have happened.
Right?
And I would wouldn't be
Domino's.
That Don't the best.
(44:04):
But honestly, I mean, I
But that's how it always
is.
Saying.
You know, the best things come when you leastexpect it.
Right?
Mikey, I mean, FA, I mean
Yeah.
I mean
Let's be honest here.
Like, you could go out and surf that spot toyour left and some gnarly ass hot chick gum.
So to our podcast listeners, to F.
(44:25):
P.'s left.
Because that is a nude v,
nude vehicle Black beach.
It is actually, a beach in San Diego that isjust, to the west of Torrey
It's more.
Yeah.
To be fair, this is a KB.
Picture of Tory Pines with a beach that I didnot realize was a
new beach.
Correct.
But I would definitely still kept the pictureif I did.
(44:47):
From that Perez
That's gonna keep you married right there, FP.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, yes.
You made the save.
Yeah.
I I I've got a funny story about that, but Iwon't into it.
Please don't.
Let's just say I let's just say I paddled theother way.
Lovely.
Wow.
Okay.
Yeah.
Well, it's it's it's it's loya.
Are are cameras allowed?
(45:08):
You know, I never took one.
I didn't ever see one if the waves are pumping.
I'm sure there's
I feel like I've walked it, and I've never seenanything.
Oh, yeah.
I I mean, well, no.
It's it's it's definitely there.
Was I blind?
Well, you'll you'll see more.
You'll see more.
What?
Any moment.
Who does the broadcast for the, FarmersInsurance Open?
(45:29):
ABC and Dovetail.
Or NBC.
Is that why they don't do the flyovers?
Could be.
That's a great point.
James drink.
You have to drink.
Yeah.
You gotta drink.
That's alright.
Oh, no.
Brotherly love there.
Matt?
Matty, that is a great point.
I think you're right.
Because I've never seen it.
(45:50):
They'll show they'll they'll show the guysdoing the, like, Yes.
They keep it hot.
Wholesaling and stuff.
Yeah.
They keep it tall up with that.
That's way over on 12 green to the left of 12green.
So
Do you know the first time I went to TorreyPonds?
I go, wow, this is underrated because the clifflines and everything are just as good as
(46:11):
pebble.
And yet, you never see it, that might be why,Mikey, because of the goddamn nude beach.
I think you're right.
I think Because they
always show people at pebble walking along thebeach with their dogs, throwing bones, tennis
balls, whatever.
That's the hard hitting intel you can only geton.
Hold on.
That's it.
Unfiltered.
And I even told my chick and gal and all ofthem, you know, when I die.
(46:35):
I'm glad you got a lot of them.
They know where they know where of my ashes aregoing.
Yeah.
There.
You you told me this
7 North.
Yeah.
You told me this.
Yeah.
Okay.
Face my hometown, Dumber, and then I could lookout at L'Oreal.
So it's awesome.
PSA,
which we normally do on every episode, which, every once in a while, it doesn't end up coming
(46:57):
on to it.
But Here's the PSA.
Tory Puns, if Mikey Perez ever passes away andyou see me walking on property, you know what
the fuck I'm doing.
You're gonna put something like that.
I I'm literally I'm literally no.
I'm taking your actions.
I've spent on the golf course I'm not pissingout your ass.
I'm kidding.
I'm kidding.
Well, I drive you nuts sometimes so much withthe editing and all that stuff, but, you know,
(47:20):
let's
The editing hours.
Oh, after there was one night, I drove himnuts.
Literally, I was on just on a whole differentlevel and it was so funny and I felt terrible,
but we've got the office.
The episode turned out great.
The episode turned out great.
But after Buttsy after 16 hours of editing, It,it took a lot to make sure that Mikey was not a
(47:41):
large part of it.
Dude, that was hot.
Let's just finally These happen.
So the this is your brother.
How do you feel about meeting your long lostbrother?
Does it I I'm very happy.
No.
Not you, Mikey, FP?
Well, how old are you?
I'm seeing.
First of all,
who's the old brother?
You guys do look Mikey
30 years.
His eyes.
Yeah.
33.
(48:01):
He's the younger brother.
Yeah.
You're the youngest.
I'm middle, and then Devil is the oldest.
Yeah.
You don't have to worry about that.
I mean, that's Yeah.
He's
just a number.
Right?
Right.
Age is just a number.
Yeah.
No.
It's super cool.
I mean, like like I said, it was sort of, youknow, I I think that, like, I've been talking
to have talked to Mikey a little bit and then, you know, kinda getting the the vibe that that
(48:26):
Pat puts out there with, you know, the JordanBrown and just sort of the, you know, he's he's
definitely a guy that puts out that he likes tohave fun.
You know, it's all about kinda having a goodtime, and he doesn't really give a fuck what
anybody thinks.
About him or anything that he does.
And, you know, I can appreciate the shit out ofthat.
So Absolutely.
You know, it's I think, you know, It's it'scool that, you know, the vibes kinda match up.
(48:49):
It would it would be it would it would beshitty for them if they didn't.
Right?
It doesn't really matter to me at the end ofthe day, but, like
So part of this influencer status, right, isthe fact that, like, you have a lot of
attention on you.
I mean, I have to imagine that you're the maleequivalent of Paige Brannick at this point.
(49:09):
Man.
That's awesome.
I yeah.
That I that that's, that's that's aninteresting take.
I think you look better.
Hot take.
That's even more interesting.
Well, that got weird.
But, yeah, I mean, it's It's it's still hasn't.
Like Who knows?
I'm kidding.
Like, I got a full time job and, like, at atthis point, I'd I I don't for long.
(49:33):
Yeah.
I I feel like you're gonna have to put in that2 week notice pretty quickly.
That happens.
2 week.
How about the 2 minute?
It happened.
It happened today.
Hello, Matt.
Good for you.
Congratulations.
How about that?
And and we did not talk about this offairbrush.
No.
No.
We haven't talked about it.
Yeah.
No.
That happen today.
Congrats, man.
Thank you.
(49:53):
So it's gonna be cool.
It's it's kinda, you know, put a little bitmore focus on it.
So to me, Mikey, You know, I I don't know, man.
It's it's still surreal, and I don't know whatit is.
I don't know how to describe it.
And, like
It's a brand.
Yeah.
I mean, like, I'm just being me, man.
I'm just having fun and and Mikey, you know, itevery opportunity is just been a really good
(50:14):
time, and I've met good people and had a greatexperience doing it.
So it's sort of just like, you know, it's why
little brother.
I'm proud of you, little brother.
I'm proud of you, little brother.
And you know what?
I I really am because Appreciate
it, man.
It's, it's cool.
Like, it's, you know, I don't I'd ever wantedanything out of this.
I never tried to do any of this.
(50:35):
Just sort of the best.
Isn't it funny how everything happens whenyou're really not going after it, so to speak.
Like, there's things that you'll do in order tokinda enhance things.
I agree.
And that's the thing.
Mikey and I, we said on the last episode withBobby Brown.
And in the middle of it, we both kinda, like,in a very soft voice, because Bobby was
(50:58):
talking, and I go, I love this show.
And he goes, I love this show too.
And it it was
it was it was very low, but if you catch it,it's like, Perez we didn't do this for anything
other than the fact that, like We'd love it.
Yeah.
Now
Sometimes.
Yeah.
What what does the future hold for you, my man?
(51:20):
Yes.
So, yes, I said, I guess, said it earlier thatI'm, you know, leaving my Day Bobby.
Congratulations, cheers to that.
I
can share that all all day.
I left mine a long time ago.
Well, I got fired, but
so So I'll be leaving the day job and and kindof, you know, once once a month, I'll link up
(51:42):
with Bob and cold cuts to do some filming, fora week somewhere.
So we're, you know, kinda the fallback willalways be LA because that's where they are, but
we'll, you know, try to hit kind of the majorspots Mikey abandoned and things like that.
And on my idea, honestly, is actually hittingsome of these kind of mid level smaller kind of
golf resorts that are all over the country, right, that people might not really know about.
(52:05):
Like Yeah.
The Quellages, for instance, Mikey,
didn't know about it before you guys Why
have I heard that?
You probably I mean, it's right there.
It's only 10 minutes from Pebble.
They have, like, they they have a massive carshow and a massive motorcycles show there every
year?
Like, the biggest in the world?
Coffee and all that shit?
It's, like, the biggest car show in the world.
(52:26):
Really?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh,
I know what you're talking about.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I know what you're
talking about.
You're right?
So, so yeah.
So, like, Yeah.
I don't know what it's called, but it's,apparently, it's a massive thing.
A lot of cars come down from Montecito forthis.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Oh, so monterrey car show, and they show up atpebble too.
Yeah.
(52:46):
Yeah.
Because they I've seen
It's a Calum it's a Catalina wine Mikey.
It it's it's very similar.
That's basically what it's like.
Yep.
Yeah.
It it's exactly
the same.
Canoline and a wine mix.
So to me, it's like, hey, like, everybody knowsthe band and dunes, the Heinherst, the stream
songs, banners, and all those places.
Right?
But there there are a lot of of resorts acrossthe country that that you can go with your
(53:10):
buddies and have a fun weekend that, you know,Mikey be a little bit more of a value or Mikey
be a little bit more low key, a little bit lessbusy.
You can kinda do your own thing.
I feel like it would be cool to kind of jumparound to some of those places and kind of give
them a little bit of exposure and give us, Imean, it's a win win.
Right?
Like, if we go to some of these low key places, like, we're gonna have a little bit more, I
(53:33):
think, freedom to kinda do our thing with thefilming, And and then in the, you know, the
trade for that, it's like, hey.
We're gonna we're gonna kinda showcase you alittle bit.
Exactly.
And the and the term of golf director can't getmad at you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, like, if you watch the the 4 play match, like, the 1st 15 minutes is isn't even golf.
Right?
It's like us having dinner, but there's theaerials of kind of the resort and, like, the
(53:56):
accommodations.
You guys did a good job on that one.
Yeah.
Yes.
Like that's
Richard showcase.
Yeah.
And they were cool.
They were cool for us and letting us kinda dothe do the thing.
And that's sort of like, you know, force you
to do that.
You're not gonna stonewall somebody on onsomething like that where we were happy to and
happy to kinda showcase them and From what I'veheard, they've done, you know, the the the kind
of, result of that has been very good for thefor the resort.
(54:20):
That's great.
That's great.
That's awesome.
Right?
So we had a great time and and they getsomething great out of it.
So I feel like if we can kind of do that sortof thing.
It, you know, it keeps the content fresh, whichis a very important thing.
You can't do the same thing over and over atthe same places.
And it just sort of it I think it almost opensup a little bit of an audience in those
(54:43):
different markets.
Wherever they may be.
Like, someone's like, oh, wow.
Like, I didn't I might not have followed Bobdoes sports, but I live right down the road
from that resort.
Mikey, I I, you know, never seen him on video.
Like
Yes.
But isn't that satisfying to to help out futurecourses?
Because I love this.
Mikey and I talk about this stuff.
And, you know, I'm still learning all thisInstagram shit and all this and that.
(55:07):
And but I love Mikey, to promote our ourpodcast and bring on guests Yeah.
And do the right thing for the for thesecourses.
And for the right and for the right people,it's it's satisfying to me and when you teach
people and do this stuff.
(55:30):
I think it's wonderful.
I'm a big fan of, like, I gotta ask the coolestquestion the other day.
I did a podcast this morning with, my buddy,Gareth.
He's in UK.
And he's with back to basic golf.
And they sent Matt Mikey and with rangefindersand a great potty mat and some mirrors and
stuff.
And he goes, Mike, what do you get out of this?
(55:50):
What what is your what is what is your take?
I go, bro, my deal is to pay forward.
And help the junior golf.
Yeah.
Help the vets.
Help this.
Do this.
Because, you know, my we my dad and I and,
Mikey, he's very big in maturity.
I'm very big.
I always have it, and the tour always came tome when I was on an HVAR tour to do them with
(56:12):
James O and and Jason Gore.
And I've always been into it because it makesme feel good.
I wish
I could
do more of them.
You know what I mean?
I just wish more I could do, but it's such agratifying feeling for me.
Like, I just did one for the cops last week andour, you know, our troopers Yeah.
Yeah.
All over the place.
(56:32):
And they all remember me every year on there.
Anyway, go on.
Now Mikey and I have asked.
Greg Norman multiple times on this show
Yeah.
To be a part of the live invitational tour.
A flight.
And I I think they need us more than ever.
Yeah.
Give me $5 off now.
FP.
I think you should join in on this because youyou got you're a stick, my man.
(56:55):
What do you think?
Well, here's the thing.
Did did you
guys usually happen today?
No.
You know, I didn't watch TV.
Oh Mikey god.
So to today, it came out.
That the PGA Tour rejected all of theapplications
Wait a minute.
This is
about to get this is about to get ugly.
(57:15):
It's about to get dirty and ugly.
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
That's why
I asked you if you had enough time
Yes.
It's gonna be
I wanna be cognizant, but
applications for
So you you Robert Garagas, Phil Mickelson, LeeWestwood Sergio Garcia.
So they rejected all of them.
(57:36):
So if they don't play in those events, Ibelieve now correct me if I'm wrong.
Okay.
And the internet might do this, Buttsy believethat by the PGA Tour rejecting those, they will
be kicked off of the tour if they go play inthat event over the PGA Tour event.
Buttsy that's the thing that Bobby, like, Idon't understand it because But came out of
(58:02):
hand, did say.
At Ray of Buttsy Jay Monahan did say a riff inthe players meeting that if you decide to go
play on this tour, your time here is done.
They're independent contractors.
And you know what?
If Garyus is getting 10,000,000 dollars, 15.
Dude, Mikey.
Like, he's don't don't don't bring up Gary is.
Gary's gone.
He's like, hey, PG.
(58:23):
So we're good seeing you.
Phil.
Oh, man.
Phil gets on 50,000,000.
Buttsy fit Phil set up for the PGA?
He's playing in the PC years.
They were already talking in the past 2 daysabout how they're trying to make sure that it
is in a circus around Phil, this whole thing.
And now because we know that Phil also applied.
(58:43):
Mhmm.
And now that it's now that it's rejected.
FP.
Is that right?
It's all coming out now?
Oh, I didn't I didn't hear that.
Yeah.
I saw it today.
Matt Matt.
Matt.
Got why I love that.
About about an hour about an hour before ourepisode.
Wow.
I I found golf week came out with it.
(59:04):
I mean, I think I think that the tour, I Idon't think this is surprising is what I would
say.
I think the tour has has been very adamantabout their position on it for a long time.
And I think that Yeah.
But it's a bat it's bad for that.
Though.
It's well,
they can do it.
They can do it.
They can.
Well, they can because they have the power, butthis is golf.
(59:24):
It's just their decision.
Yeah.
Well, my thing is, like, this is just theirdecision.
They can it's it's a it's an application.
It's a form they created.
They can make whatever decision they wannamake.
Absolutely.
Does it mean that that's that's the that's thedecision.
That's the They're gonna contract.
Right?
So now they have triggered.
It's not to me, it's not surprising they madetheir decision.
Sure.
Sure.
They have now just started the now they'vestarted the kind of ball down the hole.
(59:48):
Right?
Now you're gonna get them
to ever seen another professional organizationdo this.
Like, when the XFL and American Football Leaguecame out against the NFL, did the NFL like, the
NFL took a stance, which was priceless.
That they saw a lot about it.
They didn't even acknowledge it.
They didn't even, Mikey, think that theyexisted because they knew their brand was
(01:00:10):
bigger than that.
I don't know why.
And we had Bobby Brown on, and this episodewith Bobby Brown that we talk about this has
not been released yet.
It's actually being released tomorrow.
That he he even says, he's like, listen, there's no competition here.
If you want legacy, you're on the PG tour.
If you're at the end of year to career, ThisLive Invitational tour is great.
(01:00:32):
Buttsy, again, we all kind of related to wherewe're like, it doesn't make sense.
We don't know why
It doesn't make sense.
PGA tours.
Freaking out the way that they are becausethey're taking a very yeah.
They are.
I would
say call my brother and my brother would go.
But I do have to go back into history, though.
Fabulous.
(01:00:53):
And and go Excuse me.
Okay.
This actually kinda makes sense because notthat long ago, the PGA broke up with the PGA
Tour.
Toward the PGA Tour went on the I rememberthat.
Yeah.
And that wasn't that long ago.
So those wounds and those stories
are
still relevant.
I mean, in in PGA, Mikey, manuals andeverything, that you learn as you become a golf
(01:01:17):
professional, Mikey, those are in there.
Like, those are some of the teachings that it'sMikey
I had that manual.
Yeah.
And the PGA Tour is shunned in that PGA manual
Correct.
Has to be in this awful, greedy, bigorganization that broke off from golf
professionals and, like, really ruined thesport.
(01:01:38):
Like, it's like, it is this crazy dynamic thatI'm like, holy cow.
I feel like we're in a high school fight.
I don't know what to say anymore about it.
It doesn't make sense to me.
Doesn't make sense.
Like, not for a professional organization Mikeythis.
Yeah.
I don't I think as far as, like, professionalleagues and things like that, you've never had
a league come out against a major a majorleague, right, that's actually potentially a
(01:02:04):
threat to it.
Right?
Well, we
knew the XFL 1.
Yeah.
XFL is always minor league.
Right?
They never were gonna they weren't
ever So is live, though?
Yeah.
Buttsy live is live is different because TomBrady's not gonna go play for the XFL 1 week
and then come back to the NFL the next week.
Right?
Like, if you're in if you're on a team.
(01:02:24):
Right?
So it's a totally different thing.
Right?
Like, the XFL may
be What what event are you skipping on the BGdoor?
Well, I mean, look.
If if if
Yeah.
What is
the If there's this kind of person that we'retalking about and there's no cuts and the last
place guy gets a 120 k, I mean, look, I
I'd be there in a heartbeat.
(01:02:45):
Yeah.
I think some of these guys some of these guysare everyone's playing golf.
Everyone's playing golf for a different reason.
I think on tour.
Right?
Like, some guys are big legacy guys.
At the end of the day, you do it
because you wanna make
money, but some guys value their legacy in thein the terms of the game and the record brooks
record books more than some other guys do.
Some guys just wanna wanna take care of theirfamily and and build generational wealth and do
(01:03:08):
things like that.
So, like, who's, you know, who's right,
Maddie, can I look up the calendar real quick?
Go for it.
Yeah.
I
just wanna look.
Because because I do wanna bring up one otherthing here about it is that Mikey, you've had
this disconnect because there's the Europeantour and the PGA Tour, and you'd have European
guys go back play on the European tour, andthere was, like, that relationship between the
(01:03:32):
2, right, that it's like, okay.
If you're gonna hold status on the PG tour, youat least need to play an x number of events.
Like, there there was already that sent intoplace.
We
just feel like for whatever reason this is veryhigh schoolesque, to where the PGA Tour is
taking it upon themselves to be like, this isan unknown organization and we're freaking out.
(01:03:55):
And I think it's actually doing a disservice tothe tour because it's building up this live
invitational tour.
To be bigger than what I think it actually is.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, what weeks are we talking here?
I know it's in June.
Correct?
The fur the 1st tournaments in June, but, like, what tournament is that coincided with?
Well, 1st week in June is Memorial, and then wego RBC.
(01:04:17):
Nobody's giving Memorial.
Nobody Bobby is skipping Jack.
Then we got RBC.
If Norman decides that the first live golfevent is same week in Memorial.
You can
It's that he's an asshole.
Yeah.
That that but that's not happening.
Because I I guarantee you that that's
not happening.
It's not always done.
On many many things.
(01:04:38):
He knows movements that that people don't
care about.
Greg Norman owes Jack for his first majorvictory.
Absolutely.
It was the one that
you think Greg's shoulder.
That.
Greg Norman doesn't know anybody anything.
Greg Norman Greg Norman is a is a No.
There's no bigger man, Greg Norman than GregNorman.
Well, I agree with that.
(01:04:59):
He did fly in on helicopter to events.
I'll give you this.
And is Andy Flu is on G Five.
Yeah.
That's pretty dope.
With the red stripe.
I'm not gonna lie.
I gotta say it.
Take beach bathing suit pictures at sixty fiveyears old.
If you don't have me go.
Hey, dude.
How about this?
What is ironic about this?
He's fishing in Australia and gets bit in thearmy by a great white shark.
(01:05:24):
No shit.
Yeah.
That's pretty badass.
Oh, I'm looking to see Greg here.
He's not a badass.
No.
He ain't a badass.
You're a dad.
That guy's amazing.
Amazing too.
I'm not trying to.
I'm not trying to do that.
No.
I love I love the circle.
I always have his swing to
me.
The constant dude.
I just can't see.
Bobby way.
That's I just can't see.
(01:05:44):
That's the Aussie way.
Like, in my mind as a, like, marketing brandperson, I look at the Live Invitational tour,
as being that comfortable tour for the guysthat have names Yep.
That are at the end of their careers that
are going
on the PG.
I wish Pat would do it.
Okay.
Barbersalt.
(01:06:05):
We got it.
Okay.
Here we go.
So we started with Memorial.
Correct?
And then we went RBC Canadian open?
Yeah.
But what are the dates for the display?
Open.
The fur I don't know.
You I thought I I don't remember.
Then it goes Mikey,
you're looking at
are those Is that is that
is that what I'm doing?
No.
I'm doing the PGA tour.
It is published.
I'm doing the I'm doing the PGA tour.
(01:06:25):
The first six that's gonna live is.
I guarantee you, it's gonna be June 30th It'llbe John Deere.
Which is John Deere and the barbersol.
And then you got the Genesis Scottish Open andthen Barracuda, that's gonna be gonna live.
And then the British open, I called the Britishopen.
And then you got the 3 m, which everyone willtake off after the British open.
(01:06:48):
So that could be one.
And then Rick, you'll My
question is.
ER agency for the PG and search.
What do we got?
Okay.
So June 9th through 11th.
That is Marisol.
Okay.
So there's one.
It's a nothing tournament.
That's why.
Yes.
So the next one is July 1st to 3rd.
(01:07:10):
I love that the Perez Boys are working togetheron this.
July 1st 3rd.
Sorry.
1st June, July.
That's John Deere.
Alright.
Yep.
K.
And now the next one I'm gonna say is Notsurprised on either 14th or 17th.
29th through 31st July.
(01:07:31):
That is Rocky Mortgage.
Okay.
Well, it's surprising either.
Nothing in August.
Nothing in August.
K.
1st, September 2nd through 4th.
Well, I got nothing because it goes tourchampionship from 25th 28th.
So
Of August?
No.
Yeah.
Okay.
So
So now
there's nothing in September.
When's the well, I guess that's probably notout.
(01:07:53):
What when did when was the first term at thisyear?
If you'd go back to the
Sony is the 1st week.
Well, isn't there, like, Sanderson.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Yes.
Yes.
You have, you have, centers and farms up inNorthern California.
Mhmm.
Right?
(01:08:14):
As far as, like, the tournaments that it'strying to compete against, Now I get it.
If the PGA Tour looks at the short term, they're going wait a second.
We're losing top notch names that would beplaying in these events.
Sure.
And I get that.
But the long term approach, like, you'redamaging the brand more so than anything by
(01:08:35):
having this conflict with the players becauseyou're only adding fuel to the fire.
It's like a little campfire, and they just keeppouring gasoline on it.
And it's Mikey, it becomes more major media, major news.
And as we keep talking about it, I keep going,if I'm Adam Scott,
I'm going.
Why wouldn't I play on that tour?
(01:08:55):
If I'm Dustin Johnson, by the way, the DJ wasone of the names that came up.
I don't think that's surprising.
Yeah.
So how many weeks do they have to play that?
Just a few?
6.
6.
And it's spread out.
On the live?
Brown
On the live?
On the live.
Okay.
It's only 6 on a normal pitch.
And then
I think it's a championship.
On the PT Tour, it's a 13 year old.
(01:09:18):
You have to play.
8 15 minutes.
If you could just go play in team events, whywouldn't you?
And go make 255,000,000.
Yeah.
I think they're doing different different typestuff.
I To me, it's
Mikey cut
with no cut.
Yeah.
I mean, to me, there's the issue of, like, adding, like, legitimacy, what you're saying,
adding legitimacy to a competitor, a potentialcompetitor by talking about that competitor.
(01:09:42):
You can
totally get that talking point.
And that, you know, I mean, there's somethingto that.
Right?
If you if you you're not threatened bysomething you
don't talk about.
Boulder, Zoe.
So but there's the other side of it thatthey're gonna run into that's bigger than PR
and bigger than their strategy.
It's gonna get into, like, labor laws.
Yeah.
And, Mikey, are they are they allowed tomaintain non profit status and affect what
(01:10:04):
independent contractors can and can't do in anindustry.
Right?
So, you know, that's monopoly.
So there's a
lot You might be the smartest for us.
He he may, totally totally it.
But the point is what are the sponsor's gonnado.
Well, that's the other thing.
That's the next question.
We'll delve into that.
(01:10:25):
Those are all the short those are all the shortterm objectives around why they have to
say.
Golf club sponsors.
Well, I mean, I I just look at it as
club sponsors.
Yeah.
I these are all things that can be hammered outby lawyers though.
As a fan and as a golfer.
I've turned up on the PGA Tour.
Right?
My dream when I was making short pots Brown upon the putting green as a kid was just Buttsy
(01:10:50):
to win the masters.
Yes.
I saw you rate the bunker last week.
Great.
That's that's would I, you know, that, youknow, it's always the PGA Tour.
Right?
It's ever gonna be the live invitational thethe championship of it that I'm dreaming about.
And you're right.
Yeah.
Because I I did the same thing.
When I was growing up, it was always thatthirteen foot putt.
(01:11:12):
To win the masters.
And it was Mikey
Any pot.
Any pot.
Yep.
Well, I mean, the masters to me was always thatevent.
Sure.
US Open.
Great.
The open championship.
Fuck the US.
I'm not European, so I don't
get it.
And then, I mean, the PGA championship, thoseguys.
But I'm just not that interested, but it reallycomes down to the u to me, it's the masters is
(01:11:35):
is the number one major Actually, this is agood segment.
Damn.
Gentlemen.
Time.
Rank the majors in order.
Mikey, why don't you start?
God.
Damn it.
Mikey?
Why don't you rank the majors in order startingat number 1 through 4?
My favorite.
To the least.
Oh, well, masters, of course.
(01:11:58):
I'm gonna actually throw in a a, audible hereand go with the players.
That's not a major.
It is to me.
That's why it said an audible.
K?
And then the British open in the US will bewill be last for me.
K.
How about you, FP?
(01:12:18):
Prop masters for sure.
For me, it's probably master's.
You know, it's It's probably Master's US Open,open BGA.
Yeah.
You and I are the same on that one.
There's no difference between that.
That that is what I would say is, but that'slegacy.
Right?
Tell me the players though.
I was in a great field.
(01:12:39):
The player's absolutely great.
It's something
that the players
Mikey, did
you know the story?
I I feel like I shared this already.
Probably.
But I might not have.
When David Duvall won the players, because Iwas a huge David Duvolf fan.
And because he was confirmed in the US Open andthe masters constantly, and he didn't win any
of them.
(01:13:00):
My naiveness, since I started late into golf, when he won the player's championship, I
thought that he won his first major.
Well, I believe it because it's such a bigtournament.
Yeah.
Buttsy
I don't give a shit.
But that I was ridiculed by my call to you Ilove what's that nature.
That guy was hated Mikey Kutcher on the golfteam.
This part, like, what's okay.
(01:13:23):
FP.
Everyone talks about 16.
Right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Here it is.
And, garbage tournament.
But when you go to garbage dirt.
When you go to
It's the waistband.
17, the waistband.
This is our term.
17.
When you go to 17 at at, in front of you.
I mean, let's let's be honest here.
What's up?
You you you see this hole without the stands.
(01:13:45):
It's it's the it's a 130 yards.
It's a 125 yard.
It doesn't look the same.
Oh, yeah.
Yes.
I've heard that.
You go to you go to Tallgrass.
You know what you're getting.
Yeah.
Is this fun?
Great.
Been there.
Done that.
But you go to sawgrass, which I've been due.
Now those guys don't get enough credit for whatthey do.
(01:14:06):
You know what I mean?
That's a great term.
I mean, that's a first class.
That's their flagship.
I mean, that's a PGA Tour's flag flagshiptournament.
They do a great job.
I've been doing it.
I've you know, my company for a long time had aa
Tuck it up.
Had a box on 17 at players.
Yeah.
And it was awesome.
I had a great time.
It's the 1st rails.
Yeah, it's it's it's sick.
And and it's it's golf.
(01:14:27):
Right?
I mean, that's Golf.
The the the exemptions that come with winningthat tournament.
And then
twenty year old kids
Yeah.
With a cheat sheet knocking somebody's kidsdown and
players down.
A video game, Mikey.
And No.
No.
It it pisses me off because I had to sit thereand listen to it.
That's why I was I stopped going.
(01:14:49):
I can't take it if I'm following up.
To the waste management?
Yeah.
I I don't go anymore.
I used to live right there next to I know youdid.
Sixty yards from the birds now.
God, sometimes you get so bitter.
Well, they'd stop playing good music too.
Flow writer comes in and all those bullshit.
What happened to
the podcast?
This is one of the things you need to learnabout the Perez boys.
Hey.
(01:15:09):
I love it.
I love it.
I love seeing eye do.
Oh, good.
This just bugs me out.
I love what the Thunderbirds do.
Don't get me wrong.
I think you know.
Foods does a great job.
I'll I'll then feel like all these boys.
They do a great job.
If that was if they wanted the tour wanted todo say, hey.
This is a super success.
Let's make every tour event like this.
I think that that's a mistake.
(01:15:30):
Right?
Yes.
Agree.
But I think that
they have the one off.
I think it is it's a one off in what it is, andit's great.
Like, you know, you've got a bachelor party andyou're going to the Scottsdale for lease
management.
Right?
That's what I told you, man.
And then you got Barrett Jack and then you get
the Super Bowl.
That's Mikey does.
Or next
year?
Yeah.
That's
I don't like people.
I don't wanna be around that many people.
Yeah.
That's fair.
(01:15:50):
You sound like me?
No.
I don't wanna be by that many people unless I'mat an iron man concert or a metallic concert,
you know, where the vibe is good, this andthat, and I'm not sitting next to some twenty
year old punk.
Oh, there you go.
Check who's Where
did I get it?
High heels playing golf or watching golf andand doing a bump down in the toilet.
You know what I mean?
(01:16:11):
I don't need to see that shit.
So That's that's that's my rant.
I've never been, but I know that I have somegreat time.
Oh, it's so fun.
It's so fun.
The first time you go, when you start to seestilettos in short skirts, falling down hills,
wall professional golfers are trying to putt.
(01:16:34):
And then their catties are trying to yellquiet, and then they look and they just stop in
their tracks and they're like their f v.
They're like, yeah.
There's nothing we can do.
That's what bothers me.
Yeah.
Sitting ducks and people are yelling in theirswings.
These guys are out there making a living.
Yeah.
But, like,
you know, basketball courts.
I know a couple of things.
Reason, but you know what's going on.
And there's a reason why
I have the better players stop playing.
(01:16:56):
No.
Buttsy no.
No.
No.
But there's a reason why some of the bestplayers in the world win that tournament
because you have to have the mental capacity toget past that.
Buttsy true.
They've lost the
credit.
They've lost a lot of good players.
Have they?
Yes.
They have.
Yeah.
They have.
I mean, really,
(01:17:17):
who who have we lost recently?
Pulitzer doesn't show up anymore.
Sergio doesn't show up anymore.
So your time of the European
Everybody who was on the Tuesday night party atmy brother's house.
Oh, boy.
Here we go.
Yeah.
We'll just keep it going.

(01:17:38):

see, I think that, we're we're starting to wrapup the show.
Right?
I I mean, I I don't want to listen.
I hate to end shows because
I'll tell her I'll see her next week.
I can't wait.
I have an athlete last
(01:17:58):
when we
when we start a show, there's always about 30minutes before the show that I just start to be
like, wow.
I'm amped up.
I'm excited about the show.
I'm excited about the guest.
I I was I'm I'm more pumped up, actually, abouthaving you on.
Than anybody to date, and I apologize for allof our past guests, but that's because I
(01:18:19):

(01:19:24):
Oh, it's been good.

and learn more about you?
Yeah.
So, my Instagram at Perez is probably whereI've got the most kind of content
and stuff.
If if.
Buttsy you're known as a fat press.
(01:19:44):
So I think
that's it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's the brand, man.
That's the 1st place.
And then, there's some stuff
FP.
Get it.
1st place.
That's right.

in order to pull this off.
So congrats.
Yeah.
Well, I gotta roll these, but on the blondehair.
Well, fair.
Fair point.
Yeah.
