How To Avoid Becoming A Selfish Lover Of Self. How can you avoid becoming a lover of self or delusion. Seek God’s Will for your life with humility, prayer, and selflessness then you can enjoy and embellish your life without compromising His Word, Reverence, and Obedience. It applies to me, you, and all believers Also, don’t misunderstand me there is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself just don’t become self-absorbed, unGodly, and compromising His Truth in the process. I will close with these Bible Verses in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NLV) Verse 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud Verse 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. Verse 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Verse 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. And that is the New Living Translation. Take care everyone and God bless. #selflessness #selflesslove #selfishlove
