Just kidding, we know, it is in France.

Today we talk alllll about Alsace… and to be honest there is a lot to share… more than expected… maybe Alsace is more interesting than all the other places we've talked about in France… kinda love that for Alsace…

 

We cover:

- Alsatian climate (cold) and what that does to wine (make it high acid)

- Key grape varieties (Riesling & the Aromatics)

- Styles of wine made in Alsace (dry, cremant, sweet)

- The classification system (they have one…)

 

We also chat about what it means to be an importer, distributor, and importer/distributor. Interesting stuff!
