Welcome to PIEDMONT or PIEMONTE ("pee-a-mont-ay") if you want to sound like an expert (Dan sure does!!!).

 

Piedmont literally translates to "foothills," and we talk about some of the effects of mountains on wine growing.

 

Known for its super light red but super punchy, high-tannin wines made from the Nebbiolo grape… If you know Barbaresco and Barolo then you know Piedmont!

 

But they also have other stuff…. Like BIG RED BARBERA and LIGHT & FRESH CORTESE! So don't run away just because Nebbiolo isn't for you!

 

On a personal note, we talk about loneliness, and then we do some tarot! When in doubt… tarot. You know?

After many consecutive Sunday mornings at the wine bar discussing our wine obsessions and our personal lives, we thought to ourselves… do you think other people might care about this stuff? The answer to that question is still ambiguous. But we recorded a podcast anyway.
