The Birthday Episode - 33 : Reclaiming Joy & Rewriting Me

Another round trip around the sun has been completed, and my favourite day of the year is finally here. #Year32 was a season of unlearning, shedding, breaking old patterns, and quietly rebuilding myself from the inside out. It pushed me to release identities that no longer fit and return to the One who has always carried me — the Creator who writes the script long before I step into the scene.

#Year32 taught me that joy is something I can reclaim, not something I have to earn. It taught me that peace is not a location — it is a decision. And it reminded me that survival is not the goal anymore… living fully is.

As #Year33 begins, I am choosing softness with strength, clearer boundaries, and a deeper trust in Almighty Allah. Whatever the future holds, I walk into it with steadiness, gratitude, and the quiet confidence of someone who has gone through fire and came out whole. Ameen.
