Dr. Jessica Koehler

Dr. Jessica Koehler holds a Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Maryland, where her graduate research focused on school-based prevention, collaborative school teams, and teacher efficacy. Throughout her career, she has taken on both research and practical roles, including evaluating children with autism, hyperlexia, and dyslexia at the Center for the Study of Learning, a functional neuroimaging lab at Georgetown University. Additionally, she has worked as a school psychologist in public schools, concentrating on psychoeducational assessments and developing academic and behavioral interventions. Her teaching experience includes undergraduate and graduate level psychology courses at two-year and four-year colleges. She is also the author of "Who the Hell is Jean Piaget? And What Are His Theories All About?", a book that explores the contributions of the renowned developmental psychologist.
