Speaker 1 (00:08):
hey, hey, hey,
everyone, this is kiana, your
creator and your host of cutefor christ, and I want to get on
here first.
I want to say thank you toeveryone that um has light, you
share, you commentate, you knowall that other stuff or whatnot.
Um, I'm so excited, I am soexcited.
(00:32):
Y'all.
Y'all don't understand howexcited I am and I'm just, you
know, sharing these with acouple, couple pages and stuff
like that.
But anyways, I want to get onhere and um first, I, like I
said, I say thank you toeveryone um that has liked, you
(00:55):
have liked and you shared, youcommented, you have um been
sharing the, you know thethe-order.
So I'm so excited about that,I'm so excited about what God is
doing.
I want you all to just makesure that you are connecting.
All right, you go on to theYouTube channel and connecting,
(01:17):
because when I get this figuredout, we're going to be on
YouTube y'all.
So, anyways, I hope that youall are having a wonderful
Thursday because it is Augustthe 8th, the 8th day of the 8th
month, and I'm so excited thatwe are here because, um, you
(01:40):
know, it's new beginning.
It is new beginning and we arehere getting ready to um, do
something that God has put on myheart and, um, I wanted to
share with you all and before weget started on it, because it
is going to be something, something incredible.
(02:02):
Because, first off, god gave itto me and when God gives you
this creative idea, it's alwaysgoing to be good and, secondly,
we are going to get strongerwith each other.
And so, anyways, tonight Iwanted to get on here because,
(02:22):
if you know, about a year ago, Istarted the book club and it
started and it was good.
But, you know, for you know, for me, I want to strengthen us,
right, and, and I felt like abook club would do, you know,
would strengthen us Christianbook club, because it was a
(02:44):
Christian book club.
I wanted to read Christianbooks, because ain't nothing
wrong with all the other books, don't get me wrong, but you know
, I want something that is goingto give us that foundation,
right.
And so that was one reason whyI started the book club, where
everybody knows that, you know, everything's happened and we've
slowed down and we did this, wedid that, but, you know, and I
(03:09):
still wanted to keep it goingbecause I didn't want to stop
Right.
Well, god gave me this idea, andso that's why I'm here now,
because, if you know me and youknow my pastor, pastor Darius
Daniels, we are in the season ofupgrade, we are upgrading,
(03:31):
right, and so I am taking thebook club and revamping it and
be able to share this with youall, because not only will it
just be a specific book club, but it will be a book club where
(03:52):
we will study the books of theBible.
Okay, so I'm so excited becauseI have someone that is going to
be on this journey with me andI am just super, super
incredible excited about her,and so I want you all I'm going
(04:12):
to bring her in.
Then we'll go deeper, we willgo deeper.
So I'm bringing her in now andI want, when she come in, y'all
put five in the chat, put heartsin the chatall put five in the
chat, put hearts in the chat, put whatever in the chat.
So, um, elder Harper, yes, I'mso excited.
Uh, oh, you on mute, I can'thear you.
(04:34):
So, yes, everyone, I am now, like I said, we are going to be
um, revamping the book club, andso who better to do it with
than Elder Harper, where we'llbe able to dive deeper in the
books of the Bible.
So this is going to be thebooks of the Bible book club,
(04:57):
okay, so I'm super excited aboutthat, and each month we will
just kind of dive in ondifferent chapters of the book,
because there's 66 books in theBible and a lot of people look.
The other day, you know, pastorDarius was teaching on Nahum.
A lot of people don't even knowwhat Nahum is.
(05:17):
You know what I'm saying.
So it's different books, butanyways, what better journey to
be on than to be on with ElderHarper?
Elder Harper, I'm so excitedthat we have decided to do this.
How are you doing tonight?
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Oh, my goodness, I'm
great this evening and it's such
a good evening to be in thewill of the Lord.
I'm excited because this isgoing to push us forward.
It's going to empower us andreally just help us to gain more
and more confidence in whatwe've been getting taught our
whole life.
(05:51):
So I'm good tonight and I'mglad I'm.
I'm well, excuse me, I'm well.
My bishop says that supermandoes good, but we are well so
yes, I'm well tonight and I'mjust so grateful to be in this
number because, I mean, this isa good way to spend our time,
(06:11):
this is a way to spend ourfellowship, this is a great way
to press forward, to continue togo forward, to increase in
knowledge.
So, thank you for asking.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
I'm glad to be on the
journey you know, look, let me
tell you y'all, if y'all know meand Elder Harper and I know a
lot of people we have done.
You know the dialogue withDarlene, but we can get on here
and we can talk.
Last night, how long was y'alllike four hours like literally
(06:43):
and that has been us since wemet like, literally, we will be
up all night, you know the two, three o'clock in the morning,
and we lived right next door toeach other and we were able to,
you know, just grow stronger inthe Lord because, you know, her
husband was my pastor at onetime.
(07:03):
So I'm so excited to be on thisjourney with you because you
know and of course we haveothers, so you know, I want
everybody to know that it isgoing to be like some guests on
here.
So you know, some people arehere where we'll be able to dive
deeper in the word of the Lord.
So before we go any further,I'm going to say a quick prayer,
(07:25):
because tonight what I want todo is to just talk about and
touch about the importance ofstudying the books of the Bible,
because I know a lot of people, you know, they say, okay, yeah,
we go to church, but it'sdifferent when you get that
knowledge and get on a differentlevel of learning the word of
(07:49):
God.
The Bible says that that's howwe live by the word of God and
not just bread alone.
So we have to make sure that weare doing what um doing our
diligence, our part in studying.
So I want to make sure that weknow the importance of of this,
(08:12):
because this, this was somethingthat god put on my heart about
a couple months ago and I waslike I just I want to, I want to
go, but I've been so busy withother stuff.
But I want to make sure that weget this started.
So, anyways, I'm going to say aquick prayer and then we'll
talk about it a little later.
Okay, so, dear Heavenly Father,I come to you.
(08:33):
First I say thank you, thankyou, god, for allowing us to for
this time to be carved out, where we can be able to get
together to talk about what isnew.
God, we know that this is theeighth month.
God, this is the eighth day ofnew beginnings.
God, we thank you.
Now we get doubled Hallelujah.
We thank you now, god, for thisday, because we know that the
(08:56):
enemy wants to stop it.
But, god, we will not bestopped, we will not be moved.
Hallelujah, we will be able todo what?
you asked us to do, god.
God, we bind the enemy.
Now, god, whatever he's tryingto do, god, even with the
internet, even with the grant, the permissions, God, we thank
you now, god, because we knowthat you have permission in
(09:17):
anything, in all things, god,and wherever you tell us to go,
we will go, and whatever youtell us to do, we will do, god.
And so we thank you now forthis time.
We thank you now for anybodythat is going to come and hear
our voice on today or even nextweek, or even next year, god.
We thank you now, god, for whatyou're doing.
We know that you're able to doexceedingly, abundantly, above
(09:41):
all that we could ask to thankGod, and so we are here as your
children, god, we want to beable to learn more and more and
more about you, and so we thankyou now.
We love you, we honor you, wecherish you.
It's in Jesus' name that I prayAmen.
Hallelujah.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Glory.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Okay.
So anyways, like I said, I'm soexcited that we are going to do
this Because, to be honest,I've never just been like, oh, I
want to study the Bible and Iwant to do it publicly.
You know what I'm saying wantto study the Bible and I want to
(10:25):
do it publicly.
You know what I'm saying.
Like it's, it's a new era andum, and especially now in, in,
in this era of my life where I'mdoing so much, we have so much
other stuff going on, but I knowwe have to take time to learn
the word of God and um, and soI'm so excited about it, and um,
man, I tell you when I say theimportance of it, you know, one
(10:49):
thing that we have to know isthat when we are trying to study
or trying to learn something,we have to be able to understand
what we are trying to learn.
And so you know, that's one ofthe importance of being able to
study the different books of theBible is to be able to get that
(11:11):
contextual understanding.
Okay, you know, we want to makesure that we are understanding
the Bible throughout, in thisentirety.
So when I say, when I sayunderstand the Bible, what do
you think about when I say, whenI say, understand the bible,
what do you think about when Isay, okay, we want to understand
it, because some people say, ohwell, you know, I heard it
(11:32):
preached and I've heard it thisand I heard it that, but
understanding is on a wholedifferent level.
So what do you think, when youthink about understanding,
contentual understanding thebible?
Speaker 2 (11:44):
when you think about
understanding, contentual
understanding the Bible?
Yes, definitely, you know, whenwe learn about the context and
the before, the after thescripture, we understand history
, we learn about what'shappening during that time, we
understand how the stage was set.
(12:06):
It gives us more of a picture topull information from.
So it's not just us looking atit from one angle and looking at
it from the lenses, our westernthinking, our cultural
(12:26):
background, all of those things, because we are supposed to be
humbling ourselves and andputting down what, what we think
, so that we can observe andabsorb and and see all of what
was was chosen to be used totell us the story, right?
(12:48):
So if god chose to use thisgroup of people and with with
this, uh, historical background, with this culture, then we want
to get the full picture andunderstanding of that so we can
derive more revelation, more andmore understanding, and it'll
all kind of add up and and justhelp to weave in that tapestry
(13:13):
for us of things that we havelearned over the years and just
really fill in gaps.
So, um, it's all about justknowing what right and the thing
about it.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
You know when we we
get that historical insight.
You know what I'm saying, um,and studying the body, studying
books like genesis and exodusand kings, it helps us.
You know, with that deepunderstanding, you know what I'm
saying and, um, and get thatbackground, because a lot of
people don't have, they don'tknow what the backgrounds are.
(13:45):
You know what I'm saying.
A lot of people don'tunderstand that in order for you
to be able to appreciate theNew Testament, you got to be
able to know what the OldTestament said in order to be
able to appreciate it.
So you know one of the one.
Another point is the propheticperspective.
(14:07):
You know that we have because alot of the stuff that happened
when Jesus came was prophesied, you know, by Isaiah and Jeremiah
and Daniel.
So we have to know that itreveals his plans and purposes,
you know what.
I'm saying.
And so one thing that a lot ofpeople don't realize, and you
(14:30):
know a lot of people will sayJeremiah, you know, I know the
plans that you have, but theydon't understand that this stuff
is prophetic, you know.
And so when you think aboutthat prophetic perspective
coming from those ones in theOld Testament, how do you feel
like that?
Speaker 2 (14:51):
it the importance of
making us know those those ones
back from back then, yeah, well, the thing about the Lord is
that everything that he speaksis eternal.
So when he says it, in one wayit is continuing to be said,
(15:13):
it's continuing to be echoed, itis a revealingual message that
is unfolding, and it hasunfolded and is still unfolding
before us.
So just being able to startwith what he used to tell the
(15:43):
story is so important, becauseit's not only that it right, it
has so much more meaning becausehe, he uses the simple things
to confound the wise.
So it's like, of course he'sgoing to use a person, um, that
has struggles, he's going to usea person, that whose mouth
stammered, to speak his words of, of course, because he has so
(16:06):
much more that he wants to sharebeyond the person.
He has so much that he wants toreveal using these elements.
Because there's a contrast therein the simplicity of mankind,
the simplicity of the culture atthat time, in the, in the
(16:27):
simplicity of it, he, he, hewants to exponentially expand
our thinking right, and that'swhy it is so good for us to just
start at the beginning and like, work our way through, because
it's a storyline, you know it'sgoing somewhere, you know he is
(16:52):
the author and the finisher ofour faith.
He is the beginning and the endend.
So there is something that thecreator has to say to us.
So, however he chooses, hechose back then to use his men
and women of god to to start tosay things.
It is it's like what they callit in the movies easter eggs,
(17:14):
you know?
Different little nuggets,different things.
That's right, that thingsthat's taking you somewhere.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
You know, giving you
clues giving you hints.
Right, like you got theselittle crumbs, these little
bread crumbs.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Right, and that
brings us to it.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
And I heard Mr TD J
say you know, think about it.
You get those bread crumbsleading up to where you are.
You already knew who God hascalled you and you have these
breadcrumbs leading up.
So, yeah, that that is so good.
When it comes to, like you say,it's a timeline, you know what
I'm saying and you can't skip it.
And that's what people betrying to do is take little bits
(17:57):
and parts of the Bible and say, nah, I don't want that part of
the Bible, but I'm going to takethis part and I'm going to do
this and do that, but you can'tskip it.
You know what I'm saying and inorder for you to get that
wisdom, you know you have to.
It's different books in theBible where you go for it.
(18:18):
Pastor Darius told us.
He taught us that the Bible isa pharmacy and not it's not just
a prescription, it's not justit's different things that you
can go to and find in thosemoments of what you need in that
moment.
You know, like, like you know, know, one of the last things was
(18:39):
saying poetic reflection, whereyou get the wisdom and you even
get that, that poetic booksthat will provide you with with
context for understanding thehuman experience, emotion and
spiritual reflections, becausesome of that some people need.
That you know, but they don'tknow how to get to it.
How would you not know how toget to or get that emotional or
(19:02):
that experience, that humanexperience, if you don't know
where to go to in the Bible?
If you don't know that?
Oh okay, if I want to learnmore about wisdom, let me go to
Proverbs.
You know what I'm saying theydon't know that If I want to
know how to, you know, gothrough the shadow of death you
know what I'm saying I I won'tknow to go to psalms, even
(19:24):
though everybody knows.
You know that's a very, youknow, familiar passage.
But right you know, psalms isone of those ones where you go
to when david is like, whenyou're after god's heart, you,
you got to know this.
You know what I'm saying.
And when you don't know this itis.
You won't have that fullcontentual understanding of
(19:45):
where you're trying to go to inlife.
You'll be stuck.
You know what I'm saying, yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
I agree with that.
It's like we end upshortchanging ourselves in a
sense, because it's like healready provided everything that
we need in in the word he.
He already gave everythingpertaining to life and godliness
.
And if we don't approach himthrough the scriptures come into
the pharmacy, come in and go atit how you know how he has, how
(20:17):
it's laid out then it's like wetend to lean um maybe towards
the world or towards, you know, trying to get um wisdom this way
, or go about learning aboutlove this way, or find our faces
a couple times, when he has akind of packaged and sandwiched
in between the scriptures, whenhe has a, a journey waiting for
(20:40):
us to be gone on, you know, andto explore is, is it's hidden?
it's, some of it is right thereand some of it is hidden.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
You know, those
mysteries are there, but we
don't have to look anywhere elsewas my point because, like we
could go without exactly, andyou know, and the thing about it
, when we trying to get that, that understanding, it says in
Proverbs 18, to a fool takes nopleasure in understanding but
(21:09):
only in expressing his opinion.
And so when we don't understandanything they be trying to,
like you said, they try to itout, they lean to the world or
lean somewhere else.
They don't, they don't get,they don't get the full
understanding when they tryingto figure out life themselves.
And my daughter had asked mesomething the other day, that
was, she was like you, you knowwhat.
(21:32):
Let me read it, because I don'twant to, I don't want to mess
it up what she had asked me andit was.
it was to the point where I waslike wow, okay, um, but she.
But it says the most importantthing about you is what you
think about God when you thinkof, when you think about what.
What do you think about whenyou think about God?
And if you don't have thatcontentual understanding, you
(21:56):
will look at god the wrong wayoh my goodness you know what I'm
saying.
He would he, you would look athim as in your life, the wrong
way he won't be your father.
He won't be your savior.
He won't be.
You'll think about him as theum.
You know the, the mean.
Not I don't say mean, but theone god that bingeses god you
(22:19):
think about him, you won't thinkabout the fact that he can be
your father, he can be yoursavior you can go to him.
So if you don't have thatunderstanding of the bible, then
you won't be able to, you know, know yourself and self and your
self in God.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
So I mean man
something, something my bishop
says is we look at good wordthrough bad eyes, we look at
good work through bad eyes, and,and you know, like you said,
and that's just to say, hey, life has informed our
definitions, right, experienceshas informed our definition
(23:00):
about god and what that shouldlook like, all these other
things.
But we have to give god a chance, for, you know, for those of us
who are still learning andstill growing, we let the word
um explain the word, let theword tell us who we are, let the
word tell us who god is.
So, yeah, we, when we come andwe can get into that even
(23:21):
further when we go to go read it, drop all of our, take all our
glasses off, take all our lensesoff and allow holy spirit to um
, you know, to have us to, tojust see him.
You know how he want us to, tojust see him.
You know how he wants us to gothrough it.
And we even can read it throughfor historical purposes First.
(23:45):
We can then go back through itagain for poetic purposes only
and just go through it for, for, for, for, focusing on different
contexts, and that's fine, youknow, but as long as we have let
go of what we thought God wasand who we thought he was,
because he's trying to give ustruth.
(24:06):
He's the spirit of truth.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Right, right, that
man that is so good, so, and but
anyways, another important isthat you know one reason why we
want to do this is to be Christcentered, focus.
We want to make sure that weare learning more about the.
(24:30):
You know the Masonic prophecies, you know how, how it was
prophesied that Jesus was goingto come and how he was going to
fulfill the New Testament andeverything.
So we want to make sure that weare being Christ-centered and
we are learning how Jesus moved, because that's the example that
(24:52):
we're supposed to be going by.
If we're not following howChrist, you know, walked around
the earth and how he went about, then we going to be lost, like
literally.
I said one thing.
I said you know, if you step inthe footsteps that Jesus did
(25:13):
you will never get it wrong.
That's how I feel he don't missthat's right.
That's just how I feel you know, and of course we're not gonna
be perfect, don't get me wrong.
Right, you know, our foot sizeain't Jesus foot size?
Right so we're gonna get itwrong, we're not gonna get it
perfect, but we want to beChrist.
(25:34):
Um centered focus, um.
And so what do you think whenyou think about Christ-centered
focus and how you know studyingthe books of the Bible can help
with that?
Speaker 2 (25:48):
Pretty much kind of
like how we were saying before,
being a natural man, a carnalman going the way of the world.
The news tells us what's goingon.
We go off of what's happeningin the world around us, society.
We move with the ebbs and flowof the feelings, the sentiment
(26:11):
of this world and how we handlesituations and all of these
things, when the word beingChrist-centered means that, um,
the Christ is defining how weare to live our lives, our right
, all the way from the inner manto the outer man, how we
interact with the world, all ofit.
So, yes, the Bible is, is our,our handbook, it is our go-to
(26:37):
book, it is our map, it's ourhandbook.
How can we?
How can we?
Because we're in this world, but not of this world.
So we got to learn what ourworld really looks like.
We're supposed to be bringingheaven to earth.
(26:58):
How are we going to do that?
If we have, we don't allow thegovernor, which is the holy
spirit, to reveal to us.
Lord, what did you mean whenthis author wrote this?
What, what were you trying toexplain here?
How are we going to learn, uh,what's happening in revelations?
How are we going to know to beready when you come back, how,
(27:19):
and so when we submit ourselvesas students to this process and
just let him take us on thatjourney, listen, you know, being
Christ-centered is the goal.
That's the goal.
That's what we really want.
(27:40):
That's what we really want, because outside of really, want
because outside of that what isit right exactly you know, like
I mean, it's like like he andand and, and we got to be honest
.
It's like sometimes it got tobe like that kind of cut and dry
, like he says choose you thisday.
You know, do you want blessingsor curtains?
You won't light or dark, youwant blessings or curses.
You won't light a dark, youwant life or death, you know.
So it's like being Christcentered is is being centered on
(28:05):
life, right, right, and he isour direction to get to eternal
life.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
You know, so
everything that we do yes, we
his uh, his direction to go theright way yes, and one thing you
said now, and I was just goingto read this scripture romans 12
and 2 do not be conformed tothis world, but be transferred,
transformed by the renewal ofyour mind, that by testing you
(28:35):
may discern what is the will ofgod, what is good and acceptable
and perfect.
So we have to always keep ourmind stayed, you know, keep your
mind stayed on Jesus, becausethat's the number one thing you
know, when you're trying to walkthis journey, because you know
(28:59):
it's hard.
You know what I'm saying, butyou know I, I don't.
I came up in the era where wehad that.
What would Jesus do?
Speaker 2 (29:06):
I don't know if y'all
know.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
WWJD.
I used to have a little bandaround my arm with the WWJD on
it and stuff, but you know, backthen I probably wasn't doing
what, what jesus do.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
but anyways, that's
neither here nor there, look, we
got a store, we got testimony.
Hey, hey, that's part of it butyou know, no, it's just.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
You know the thing
about it.
We have to when we when I saychrist center, we want to do
what jesus would do for real youknow, and it is not always the
easiest things right to do, butthat's why we have to always
seek first the kingdom of Godand his righteous.
His righteousness and all thesethings will be added, so we
(29:53):
have to make sure that we arekeeping our mind on him.
You know, know what I'm saying, and so that's why studying the
books of the Bible is veryimportant when it comes to this
life.
I don't think people understandwhat is going on.
It's so much going on in thisworld that sometimes I just be
(30:13):
like I can't watch the news or Idon't even want to get on
social media because it's somuch going on.
But in order for us to kind ofkeep our mind stayed on him, we
want to be able to study.
Now, you know, of course yougot to, you got to be present
right in this world.
But in order for you to besustained, you know, studying
(30:37):
the books of the bible is goingto help you know what I'm saying
it's going to help.
I'm telling you, whoeverlistening, please listen to me
well.
It is going to help, I promiseyou.
I'm not saying that you got tobe perfect.
I am not saying that you, youknow, you got to walk around
(30:58):
with holy water thawing atpeople.
I am not saying that you, youknow, um, you got to walk around
with holy water thawing atpeople.
I'm not saying that.
I'm saying that it will helpyou as a person and, um,
yourself, you know, and that'sthat's one of the things that I
wanted.
That's one reason why God putit on my heart to do this,
because you know, a lot ofpeople don't get it in church.
(31:19):
A lot of people don't go tochurch.
You know what I'm saying andwhen I can be able to say you
know what I want, to give it toyou in a certain type of way
that you'll accept it.
You don't have to say, okay, you've got to get your whole
whole Bible out.
We want to.
I want to be able to just kindof tackle some of the things
(31:42):
that's in different books of theBible.
So we'll know that you know andthat's, and that's the last one
.
That way, you can know thethemes of certain stuff.
You know what I'm saying.
You can know how to injectyourself into certain.
You know certain situations.
That's in the Bible.
You know how to get that.
Conventional things where youcan say, okay, I'm praying like
(32:08):
Hannah, you know what I'm saying, but you ain't literally just
like crying in the temple, people looking at you like crazy
, but you are really, reallyanxious for something, you know
what I'm saying and you won'tgive up on it.
So those are the type of themesthat I want people to realize
that you can.
When you read the Bible, you'rereading as it's reading to you,
(32:32):
like it's reading you, you know, and that's one thing that I'm
super excited about.
And so, when it comes toconventional things, what do you
think about as far as how theimportance it will help when it
comes to certain people?
Speaker 2 (32:51):
oh gosh.
Well, I think it would help forall of us, because our lives
are in the word and when we like, when you just talked about
Hannah praying, you know it'slike, wow, that is some mother
somewhere.
That is that's us, you know,we're in that word and one of my
(33:12):
first, my first pastor, alwaysused to say find yourself in the
word, find yourself in thewords, find, locate yourself in
the scriptures.
Where are you at right now?
So these things we always say, this overall general statement
of you know, the answer foreverything is in the Bible and
everything you need is in theBible.
(33:33):
Well, these type of studieshelp us to find and relate.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
Exactly, exactly, you
know, because that's what we,
that's exactly.
If you could be relatable tothe scriptures in the Bible or
relatable to it, then you'll beable to know how to move and how
to live your life, because it'slike okay, and I'm just using
(33:59):
Job, for example you knowsomeone that lost everything you
know, and then you read thebook of Job and you see how he
got it back.
you know, because he wasfaithful and so we have to make
sure that we can see that.
You know.
Of course, you know when peoplesome people think that losing
(34:21):
you know I, oh, I lost my carthat that ain't no Job story.
I'm sorry, I'm not going to sayit ain't.
But you know, losing a car isbad.
But when you think of Job storyyou think about those ones,
that those ones that are really, really, really going through.
But at the same token they aretrying to figure out and they're
staying faithful.
But you know we want to.
(34:42):
That's why I say you have toknow the themes of the Bible,
because if you lost one thing, you know that, okay, I can go to
somewhere else.
My story might not be likeJob's story story, but I lost
this.
You know that was very importantto me, so I just want people to
get that understanding, andthat's the that's the main thing
(35:02):
is being able to drawunderstanding of how my life can
relate to this, this story thatwe are reading because, even
like how you were referring toin joe, um, like, whenever we
read and we you know we see whatthe story is talking about.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
The point of it is
for us to learn god, learn his
ways, learn the rules of thekingdom, understand, excuse me,
um, and all of that is supposedto teach us how to respond,
right, you know, and that's whywe are.
We are, excuse me, renewing ourmind, because the reason why
(35:48):
it's helpful to have thisunderstanding, because it gives
us answers, it gives a solution, because there are also things
in our own lives, right, god hasus on his growing plan, on his
timetable, on his um, right, sohe takes us from season to
season, from faith to faith, from glory to glory.
(36:10):
So, right, it is something tobe able to pull wisdom from the
stories and be able to, like wesaid already, like to relate and
to find ourselves and get someanswers and recognize that how
we feel about it, naturally, asa carnal I am.
(36:31):
There is another way, there isa way that leads to life, there
is a way that is going to helpme to end up in a better
situation, even though what I'mexperiencing may not feel good.
See, it teaches us to.
It's building our character allat the same time, right, you
(36:52):
know, because all of this isgoing towards being shaped and
changing to the image of JesusChrist.
Right, you know, so it's.
It's it's feeding us directlyand indirectly so that we'll be
prepared for when he takes us tothe next place in our lives.
And I think it's good to hop inand to join in and learn and
(37:16):
grab a hold to opportunitieslike this and to study the Bible
, even with a group of people, and that kind of thing.
Because, hey, especially whenwe get talking about it's going
to be some social aspects, wecan bounce things off of each
other and it's going to bereally great because you may see
something I didn't see, youknow another person may see
something.
You great, because you may seesomething I didn't see.
(37:38):
You know another person may seesomething, you know, I may see
something they didn't see.
That kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
Because there's so
much in the work.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
There's so many
layers there and we need it all.
I'm telling you, so that we can,we can be informed, you know,
and be encouraged.
It's a life-giving source.
That's the thing it's like.
It gives life Everything aboutthis world and everything that's
(38:07):
natural, wants to deplete, wants to destroy Right, wants to
destroy right.
Even in studying, we arereceiving life because we are,
we're, we're taking in andeating on words that are from
heaven.
They're life, right, right, soright.
I mean it just seemed like it'swork, but but we also been
(38:30):
given life at the same time yousee what I'm saying.
it is working.
He's such a multifaceted guy.
He know how to pump life intous.
He know how to get to us, ohman.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Exactly what we need,
right, I'm telling you.
And so I'm just, like I said, this opportunity that right now,
where God have me at now islike, is like you, you know me
and you know my journey, thatwhere I'm going to, and and
(39:01):
everything that I've been doing.
I've been walking this journeyout and so now with me, with God
having me here, it is a reason, you know, because, um, you know
, because, um, you know for mynext, and so, like you say, it
is a great opportunity where wecan be able to feed off of each
other and and continue to eat.
(39:23):
It's almost like, um, I don'tknow why I thought about potluck
, but I'm saying I guess I'mhungry anyway, it's something
about potluck.
But you know, you know howeverybody bring their own, um
own to it, and we all get fedand we all get full off of
certain things, and so we haveto make sure that we are.
(39:43):
You know, the Bible says ironsharpens iron.
So we, when we get together andwe study in the books of the
Bible, we're able to grab a holdto what we need.
And so I'm I'm excited aboutthis journey.
Like I said, I wanted to revampthe whole Bible.
(40:07):
I mean the book club, and nowit is going to be the books of
the Bible book club, and, and,and we.
I want to tackle those books, you know and.
I'm not saying tackle like it'sgoing to be hard, but I'm saying
I want to dive deeper in andget it on a different level, a
(40:28):
different aspect, whereeverybody will be fed.
You know what I'm saying, whereeverybody will be fed.
You know what I'm saying, youknow, and it's just a beautiful,
a beautiful journey and abeautiful thing, and so, anyways
(40:51):
, I want you all to be a part ofthis, and so you know, um, I
want to let you all know we,potentially, I want to start on
monday, monday at nine.
It will be live monday at nine,um pm.
Nine is all right.
Don't, don't, don't beat me downwith my internet messing up,
(41:13):
don't beat me down with my stuffmessing up, but, um, I is okay
and um, and we will be here andI'm so excited.
I want to say thank you toElder Harper for um being on
this journey with me.
Um, you know, I couldn't thinkof a better person.
You know that I would want tospend my my time, my nights I
(41:36):
don't go to bed so tired atthree or four talking with elder
harper, but it is right, it isso worth it, you know, um being
able to speak with someone andlike-minded people and gathering
with like-minded people.
So do you have anything elseelse that you want to say?
(41:57):
And if you want to pray, prayus out.
That would be wonderful, okay.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
My hope is that I
just want to speak to, like
every woman, every man, and andyou know, don't feel intimidated
or anything like that Youngcome, young come old.
It'll just be time together, infreedom and in peace, and in
(42:26):
hunger and in thirst, to learnof the one who made us, and
whatever that looks like.
While we are partaking of thescriptures, just know that God
is the author and finisher ofour faith and Holy Spirit is our
(42:47):
teacher, and so he, I feel likeif we just are open to him, you
know we will be filled.
Each one will get something outof it for sure.
So I'm excited for myself, I'mexcited for you, I'm excited for
anybody who comes in, locksarms and joins and adds and
(43:10):
receives.
So definitely share, tell yourfriends, tell somebody, and you
know, my thing is is that whenwe catch, we see somebody moving
with momentum, go ahead andjump on the boat.
Just hop on, because I mean youmay not be doing it right now
(43:32):
or you may not, you may need aboost, you know Right.
And this thankfully.
We have technology nowadaysthat we can do things like this
you know Right.
So just hop on the train andyou know, come and get something
and receive Right.
That's all I have.
Amen, Amen.
Speaker 1 (43:52):
Amen, receive.
So that's all I have.
Amen, amen.
Well, if you pray us out, thenyou know we will you know, I'll
say my little spirit, all right.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
So, lord God, I thank
you for each and every person
who has come on and joined ustonight and those who will
continue to see this video.
Lord God, I pray for every soul, every heart that is set to
come to know you.
Father God, you said that youwould ask to the church daily,
such as should be saved.
So, father God, open up eyes, open up hearts, even now, god,
(44:29):
in the name of Jesus, send those, father, that want you, that
are thirsty for your word, thatare thirsty for your presence,
that are thirsty, god, for moreof understanding, more knowledge
, more wisdom.
God, and we thank you, father, for this platform.
We thank you, lord God, that itis a tool in your hands, father
, so blow on it even now, in thename of Jesus.
(44:51):
God, as we come together, god,you will give a fresh anointing
for us to learn of you, becausewe no one is higher or bigger or
better than the other, lord God, but we are submitted to you.
You're the big eye, you're theone whom we are after, so have
your way in us, god, and I praythat you draw God, because we're
(45:13):
lifting you up.
We're lifting you up.
We're lifting you up tonight, god, and we'll continue to lift
you up even in these studies.
So I thank you that there is aplace where your people to come
and be drawn to Lord God, toconnect with you, because we are
cute.
For Christ, and I bless yourname.
For God.
In Jesus name, we pray.
Speaker 1 (45:31):

with your mouth, believe withyour heart that Jesus Christ

Turn from your ways, turn fromyour evil ways.
I say evil, but they might notbe evil, but they ain't pleasing
so and then seek after aBible-based church.
