Okay, so tonight, tonight, tonight, I have this special,
special episode where I am goingto be chatting with some
wonderful, incredible, incredible people that God has
placed in my life, and I'm soexcited tonight about having
(01:31):
this because, if you do know, ifyou haven't followed me, I
started with panels and so nowI'm getting back to doing the
panels and taking something thatGod has given me, and now I'm
able to bring some moreincredible people on the page.
So I'm excited about this.
So tonight, with this special, special episode, I am going to
(01:53):
have the privilege of speakingwith some incredible people, so
I want them to just kind ofintroduce themselves, and so I
am going to go with Ms CoachTiffany Santana.
I'm going to let her come inher own individual way, but we
also have Mr Carlton CY Young onhere and we also have Pastor Ed
(02:20):
with Harris, so I'm so excited,I'm going to let them kind of
come in their own way.
Let them let you all know whothey are.
Okay, so how are you doingtonight, ms Coach Tiffany
Santana?
Look, I'm forgetting.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
I'm pretty goody too.
Thank you so much for having me, tiffany Santana.
As Keonah said, I'mtransformational confidence for
purpose coach and speaker, andI'm also the executive director
of Bethany House of NorthernVirginia, which is a domestic
violence intervention programbased right outside of
Washington DC.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
That look.
I love that.
That is so cool because we needthat.
You know what I'm saying?
A lot of people don't take thatinitiative to do stuff like
that, and I like how you saytransformational confidence
coach.
A lot of people don't thinkthey need help with their
confidence, but helping peoplewith confidence is awesome.
(03:22):
I love that.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you, all right, I amgoing to go to Mr Carton's seat.
Why you young?
I'm so excited to have him onhere.
Let me tell y'all.
I came across his page.
This is how God works.
I don't think I understand howmy God works.
So I came across his page andhe is one of my Bible.
(03:46):
You members, I'm so excitedabout that.
So how you doing tonight, mrCarton?
Speaker 3 (03:54):
I am doing amazing.
I am grateful to be here.
Thank you for this opportunityto join this esteemed panel.
My name is Carlton Young.
On Instagram I go by Mr 8020.
I'm originally from Birmingham,Alabama.
I now live in the Dallas Texasarea.
I'm a husband, I am a father,I'm a friend, I'm a brother and
(04:16):
I focus on.
I don't call it motivationalspeaker.
I like what Coach Tiffany said.
I'm a transformational speakerbecause motivation only lasts
for a while.
You need to actually transformyour mindset, so I'm a
transformational keynote speaker, mentor, coaching and then
professional space.
I have been a sales executiveby trade over the last 15 years.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
I love that.
I love that and I'm telling you, when I say he had a great
testimony, I think I want to letyou tell your testimony right
now.
From what I saw on your page,If you feel like telling your
testimony, would you please justtell a little bit.
You ain't got to go into fulldetail but just a little bit of
(05:01):
your testimony.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
I give you the
abbreviated view of my testimony
.
So basically, I was shot atpoint blank range when I was 25.
I ended up going through threesurgeries.
By the grace of God that I'mstill here.
I literally saw the triggersqueeze and felt the pain.
(05:24):
About 30 seconds later I saidyou shot me.
The next thing I remember I'mwaking up in a hospital bed
Three surgeries later.
You wouldn't be able to tellthat I've been shot, but God
always gives me a constantreminder because I have a friend
that's from the West Coast andthey call it a zipper.
So I have a scar from right upunder my chest all the way down
(05:45):
to my navel.
That's a reminder.
I have a scar here for wherethey went and removed some blood
clots.
So I'm just blessed and thebullet is actually still lies
near my spine.
It's too close to operate sothey don't want to risk me being
paralyzed by getting too closeto my spine.
So I have a constant reminderof God's grace.
But even with all that, I stillwas an up ahead.
(06:06):
But God knows how and when andhe knows when the appointed time
, and now is my appointed time.
So I'm grateful to be here andI'm grateful that God saw fit to
let me allow me to live to tellthis story.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Hey man, like PD said
, he keep us doing our silly
season, you know, and he hasreally, really done that.
I mean, I know all of us have atestimony, but I just remember
that I used to work in emergencyrooms and ICU, so I've seen all
of that, and for you to be here, that's amazing, you know it's
(06:40):
crazy and honestly I have to.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
even I didn't want to
go in depth, but that was like
the fourth attempt on my life.
So I've had four attempts on mylife, via a car wreck, via just
different things.
So I guess they say God kept mehere for a reason.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Right, and God chases
the ones he loved.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Right.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
So just thank you,
thank you for being on here and
now I know I say the best forlast because you know, pastor
Edward Harris, I'm telling youthis man right here, when I can
find somebody that write notesmore than I write notes, that
just that just bless my soulright there.
(07:23):
I remember meeting you in Rockthe World with your words, and
we've been online and I finallygot a chance to meet him and
thrive.
So how you doing tonight, pastor, and I know you done, did
a lot already.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
I literally just
ended Bible study.
Right, I just ended.
And to hear you talk, carlton, the last one, the last person to
be read was in Acts 14, wherethe Bible says that they stoned
Paul and drug him out, thinkinghe was dead, but there were some
disciples that surrounded him.
(08:02):
He got back up, went back inand kept on doing what he had to
do, right?
So I just knew when you wastalking at this, as I was
sitting there just being coolbecause I'm like I just can't.
I just got to teach you.
I can run real good right now,but I'm just going to calm down,
drink my little smoothie, andso it's just good to be on the
screen with somebody who theythought was dead.
(08:24):
But, man, you still have towork Exactly God has called you
to do.
Sir, my name is Edwin Harris.
I am also a transformationallife coach, and one of my
focuses is to help people whoare stuck get unstucked.
I also serve as the lead pastorof the St Mark Baptist Church
in Harvey, illinois, which ispart of the greater Chicagoland
(08:45):
area.
I am married to my lovely wife, and next year will be 30 years.
I have three adult children, and the list goes on and on.
God has just been good to me.
I'm about to release my firstbook, entitled From the Cult to
the Pull Pit Wow, and so just astory of that.
(09:07):
And it's been a stretch becausethe this publishing company is
yeah, they stress at me, but Godis doing something else, and so
I'm going to let God have hisway.
God's timing is his kindness, and so we're going to trust God
for that, and so I'm lookingforward to this conversation
tonight.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Amen, amen.
Oh, my goodness, I'm so excitedfor you, pastor Edwin, I don't
know what to do.
I remember when you got thataward, I was like I can't put it
down, but like you deserveeverything that you got.
So I'm so excited.
So I'm going to say a quickprayer before we go further,
(09:45):
because I want to make sure theHoly Spirit is with us, which I
know he is, but I want to makesure we usher in him and then
we'll go right into it.
Okay so, dear heavenly father, first off, I want to say thank
you for this time that youcarved out for us to be able to
come in to discuss your word.
God, I thank you just for beinga vessel that you can use.
(10:08):
God, I ask you to hide mebehind anything, god.
God, I want you to get theglorification, god, and I just
thank you for every family thatis represented on here.
God, I thank you for everyperson that is on here.
God, I thank you for blessingtheir household.
I thank you for blessing theirministry.
I thank you for blessing themand taking them further than
(10:29):
they ever have gone.
God, we just thank you now.
We love you, we honor you andwe cherish you for this moment
that you're going to be able, sosomeone can be blessed on from
listening to what we have to say, god, and so we thank you.
Now, god, I thank you for thevoice in Jesus' name that I pray
.
All right, so I own.
(10:49):
So today I had God put on myheart about mislaboring seasons
and I know Pastor Danny's kindof hit on it this Sunday a
little bit about it, but we wereI know, me and Pastor Evan had
been talking about it and I hadgot sick, and then it was like,
oh, you know.
(11:09):
And so when I got everybodytogether and Pastor Danny was
talking about, I was like, ohyeah, this is perfect, you know.
And so tonight, you know, whatwe're gonna be talking about is
the major effects of mislaboringseason and how it can hinder us
from moving to our next season.
A lot of people, you know, theydon't realize that sometimes
(11:33):
they hinder themselves, and Ican tell you one time, like I
have gone through the war and alot of the times God has shown
me to leave, I did not leave inthat time and in that moment,
and so I had to endure somethings that I didn't have to
(11:55):
endure.
You know what I'm saying, andso I in my mind, I was like,
well, I accept, this is what Isupposed to be doing.
And God is like, nah, you'renot doing what I need you to do.
And you know, and long story, boring God had to really pick me
up because I had startedidolizing my marriage.
I had started idolizing the wayit looked, not thinking that
(12:17):
that's not how God wanted it tobe, and I had to really be
plucked up out of that.
So, anyways, that's a whole newstory for a different day.
But you know, sometimes wemislabel things, and the
definition of mislabel that Ifound is to put information that
is not correct on something, orto describe someone or
(12:39):
something in a way that is notcorrect or fair.
And so we don't realize thatsometimes, when we are saying
that God is taking us through, you know, pain when it's
something that he's protecting,you know.
So sometimes we have to realizethat one season is not that
season, and I can just thinkabout how, when the children,
(13:04):
you know, I know everybody, allof us on here, got children, we
be like telling them no, andit's for their good, and they,
you know, sad and it's like, okay, I'm telling you no for a
reason.
And so sometimes, when Godtells us no, we be like well,
why God?
But we have to know that it isfor a reason.
(13:24):
And so I wanted to readEcclesiastes 3 and 1, which you
know, it's a very familiarscripture, and it just basically
says wait a second, because Ihad it up and in oh, wait a
minute, I got it on my otherstuff.
But it basically says there's atime and a season for
(13:45):
everything.
And so we know that it is atime and a season for everything
.
Trying to laugh, or time to cry, you know it can go all the way
down the list.
And so we have to know thatsometimes we will mistake a
season for what is not okay.
So we have to realize that.
(14:06):
And so tonight I just wanted toget on here and discuss it with
some of my, with some of myclose, well, some of my friends.
That's in the Bible, you withme and that's in the dance stand
.
I'm so excited.
So tonight what I'm going to dois just ask a few questions,
you know, and hey, y'all feelfree to go for it.
(14:29):
So one of the questions is thatcame to mind that I was
thinking about.
Like you know, it's because Iknow I have been in a season or,
like I just explained just then, and have there been any
seasons where you just had noclue why God had you there, like
you know, and what did you dowhen?
(14:50):
When you, you know, you waslike okay, god, why am I here,
you know, and feel free toanswer that.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
I would say yes, but
also I think you need to start
kind of learning the spiritualseasons of life, right?
There's different seasons, likefrom my research and what I've
read up on and I'm not sayingthat this is what I believe Like
the first season there's a dryseason, there's a waiting season
, there's a grinding season,there's a test and trial season,
(15:22):
there's a spiritual warfareseason and then there's harvest
season.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Right.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
So a lot of times you
have to understand what that
season looks like for you, right, and understand what, the
ramifications and the what itlooks like, right, what are the,
what are the outliers in thatseason that you can pick up on
to understand what season thatyou're in?
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Right.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
And then what you
have to continuously do is, you
know, in whatever season you usefor me is to continue to seek
God right and ask for the wisdomand the knowledge to understand
.
You know what it is that Ishould be doing in this season,
what it is that he wants from me, and also did I place myself in
that season?
Because there's one thing thatwe have to understand God cannot
(16:06):
be held liable for what we havefree will over.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
It's Lord, have mercy
, and that you know the thing
about it.
Some people will blame God forstuff that we got ourself into.
We sat up there and we fell inthe hole one time and then we
got back out and then walkedright back into that same hole
and then now you blame it.
(16:29):
God, you know, you, you saw youwent in at first, so now you,
you got to deal with that and so, like you said, that that's
good, right there.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
Yeah, we think about
like I have a 26 year old
daughter, or 27 now, and there'scertain things that she would
want to do, and she would comeand consult me and ask her dad,
I would like no, I don't thinkthat's a good way.
Well, I work hard and I do.
Well, go ahead and helpyourself.
And God is probably the samewith us.
When we come to him and we askhim for something, he's like no,
I don't think you need to dothat.
(16:59):
He gives you signs and you knowwonders, and and and and things
put are in place for you torealize that this is probably
not the best decision, but wedecided to go anyway.
So then, when we fall in theditch, then we want to run back
to God you know exactly.
Oftentimes, I think we mislabelGod for what he's really
(17:20):
designed to do, the things thatwe should be.
We are within our control, likepaying our bills on time, being
a good steward of our money.
You know we're praying to Godto take, bring us out of that
season when we have control overthat he's here for our
salvation, to get our heartright, to help us navigate our
spiritual journeys.
Not pay my bills, not give me anew car, not help me get the
(17:41):
house of my dreams Like.
If I follow the principles ofthe Bible, I will be able to get
those things right.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Exactly, so, exactly.
And sometimes I think about thechildren of Israel, when you
know God was giving them themanna and they, they just was
like well, what is this?
And?
And God, you know God's like,ok, you got to, you got to do
your part.
And we don't realize that doing.
You know God is going to giveus what we need, he's going to
(18:09):
give us everything, he's goingto give us what we need In order
to get there.
And so a lot of people justwon't.
They think it's going to fallon their lap and just be like OK
, yeah, god, you going to pay mybill.
No, god, that ain't the God Iserve.
I'm sorry.
He's going to give you whereyou can get up and go pay your
bills.
(18:29):
So that's good.
What about you, tiffany?
Speaker 2 (18:35):
One recent season
that comes to mind is actually a
season I'm currently livingthrough.
I shared that I was theexecutive director of Bethany
House and being a nonprofitleader was not on my radar
whatsoever.
I had no background inexecutive leadership.
(18:58):
I have no background in humanservices.
I have no background incounseling.
I have no background indomestic violence.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
Right and.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I started a business
in 2013, a personal training
business, and I wanted to tiethe day of time, as part of our
business model, to organizationsthat need help, so everybody
that would work with us wouldhave to volunteer one day a week
.
So I started volunteering atBethany House in 2013.
(19:30):
And I thought I was there justto serve the people and do a
good thing and help theorganization.
And God allowed me to maneuverthrough the organization.
I was open to doing everythingand everything they allowed me
to do Built their website, Iorganized the pantry, I went on
(19:53):
speaking engagements for theorganization, I planned events,
I showed up and answered thephones, I did the newsletter, I
learned grants, development.
So all that time, seven yearsof service, god was teaching me
the organization that I wouldultimately lead.
And at the end of the pandemicJanuary 2021, the executive
(20:15):
director had to leave suddenlyand one of the board members
called and said are you busy?
And so I stepped right in and Ijumped into an organization
that was struggling and that wason life support.
One of my board members said Ijumped onto a sinking ship, but
(20:36):
I was confident in it because Ihad grown a love for the
organization and because God hadbeen preparing me all along.
So sometimes God will put you ina season and you're enjoying
the season and you think you'rethere for one reason it's not
even a bad season.
It's a season that you'reactually enjoying.
But you're in that season notjust for what you're there, for
(20:58):
what you think you're there for.
Sometimes he's placing you inthere to prepare you for your
next season, and that's been thestory of my life.
Every season I've takensomething that's prepared me for
a future season, whether it wasthe next season or a season 10,
20 years down the road.
And so just being open to whatGod has to teach you in any
season and collecting everythingyou can and embracing it and
(21:19):
stewarding it and valuing theseason that you're in, even if
it's a difficult season, knowingthat God promises to cause all
things to work together for yourgood, just take what you can in
that season and take it to yournext.
You just never know what he'sgoing to do with it.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
That is so I mean the
thing about it, and I tell
people all the time that a lotof the stuff that I dealt with
was prepared me for my now andeven though back then it was
painful and I looked at it as adifferent way, I was like God,
why am I here, like I'm doingeverything you asked me to do?
(21:59):
But things are not changing.
But it's amazing how God cantake what he taught you back
then for you to for your now,for right now, and that I mean
that right there in itself is agreat way to embrace it, by
taking it what you have learnedand utilizing it for what God
(22:23):
wants you to do now, and I'm sohappy for you.
Like you know, like I sawPastor Edward with him there,
that's it and.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
I had many shouting
sessions together.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Congratulations,
tiffany.
As you were saying that I'mgoing to just interject this
real quick Daniel 221 came to mymind as you were talking about
it, and when you said God waspreparing, you literally gave me
goosebumps.
And you know, daniel 221 sayshe changes the times and the
seasons, he removes kings andsets up kings.
He gives wisdom to the wise andknowledge to those who have
(23:01):
understanding.
So that was just that popped inmy mind when you said what you
were going through, and that wasa beautiful story and a
testimony to just trusting Godin every season of your life and
knowing that it's all workingfor your good.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
And giving your best
in every season, you know, even
if you're in a season where youthink you're just a volunteer or
you think you're just workingat the grocery store, like, give
your best because you justdon't know.
You know God's so awesome andhe loves us so much and if we're
available he'll use us.
So we just have to reallyembrace every single season and
(23:37):
just take the most out of it.
But I love the whole book ofDaniel, me and Daniel.
We were Daniel 10, daniel 2.
Ok, right, I doubt it, right.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Well, what about you,
Pastor Aaron?
Speaker 4 (24:01):
And I'm going to need
you, carlton, to send or post,
to do something that thoseseasons you listed.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
You kind of just do
them off your lips.
I'm like whoa.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Yeah, I want to take
notes tonight, but that was
really, really, really good.
The three seasons that I open,or I sometimes share, rather, is
the due season, the due seasonand the due season.
So you get the DO, the DEW andthe DUE, and sometimes we're so
focused on just getting the DUEthat we forget that there are
(24:32):
some things I got to do, and themore I DO, I can feel the DEW
that only the master can do,because he's the only one that
can make it rain.
I can, if so many seasons thatI could mention the one season
that I will mention specificallyaround my role as pastor.
(24:53):
I've been January of the 22years of me serving at our
church.
I was hired in 02 as directorof ministries and when I came in
, I came because the leader waslike yo, I need some help, so
bring your administrative skills, come over and help me.
(25:13):
Great, so I came over andhelped and two weeks in I'm
being transparent y'all I'm atthe season now where I can do
this.
Two years in, my pay was cutyeah, $5,000 cut and I had to
call my wife and just like, didI make like a mistake?
(25:35):
I couldn't stay in my old job.
Two years later, in 2004, itwas cut again.
So it was cut 6,000.
So I got a wife and threechildren.
I'm gonna tell you how much Iwas making, but it was, it was,
it was, it was.
But I knew in that season he'sdoing something, but I couldn't
(26:00):
put my finger on it, like God,help me right here.
But he had given me such a lovefor the leader, even though it
was a leader and again, I'm nottrying to throw it, because I
love him 100%.
And so, as I tell the story, because we're so quick to point
the finger and kind of throwpeople on the bus now I
understand what God was doingnow and even though at that time
I didn't understand it, even tothe point that people around me
(26:23):
didn't understand it, but Istayed the course, I mean like
literally so and I went frombeing director of ministries to
becoming executive pastor.
So I got a, I guess, apromotion, but without pay,
(26:44):
because so many times we're onlythinking about this pay, right,
and I'm realizing that there'ssuch a value of what God is
pouring into you Exactly, butyou don't know that's coming
down the road.
So then, two years later, whichis now old to 2007, he became
incapacitated, and I neverforget that day.
(27:05):
Like I remember, like yesterdayI was on the phone with Bishop
Ergarns from New York and I toldhim what was going on.
He was, he had two heartattacks.
He was in hospital.
He said to me, he said, son, hesays whenever the president is
down, the vice president stepsup automatically.
And I said, bishop, but nowthis ain't that?
He said yes, it is.
I said, but now there's aprocess.
He said it doesn't matter aboutthe process, the she needs to
(27:25):
see somebody at the helm thatthey trust.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Amen.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
You are the one that
they trust.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
I'm going to continue
this season and I'll give it
back to you, piana.
He came out to Cologne a couplemonths later.
That was November, so March ofthe following year, this is now
2008.
A lot of stuff happened in thechurch.
I won't even go into that.
I could really I could write abook, all the details of that.
But I remember going.
(27:53):
I taught a Bible study on the Battitude, specifically the B
attitude that says blessed arethose who are persecuted for
rights, as they say, blessed arethose who are falsely accused.
That was on a Tuesday.
I set up a meeting, tiffany, togo see my pastor because there
were things that people weresaying to him that wasn't
truthful.
I was like, as you're a secondpastor, let me go and just meet
(28:14):
with you, have a one on one.
So I was supposed to go meetwith him on that Friday.
I got a call that Thursdaysaying you can't meet with him
on Friday because you're anursing home.
You got to go Saturday.
Holy Spirit said to me it's asetup.
I was just so speculated ongoing into the meeting Sharpegoz
, because at first it was justgoing to be a one on one.
Early in the morning I wasgoing to be.
(28:34):
Hey, saturday afternoon have toget to the nurse or home.
I walk in the room.
But I brought one of the otherministers with me.
Little girl, what was about togo down?
I got there thinking that thepreachers that where there were
just visiting something find out.
They set me up in a meeting.
So I'm standing at the foot ofhis bed.
I got Him soon to my right, Igot two bishops.
(28:56):
That's to my left.
He's in a bed, his wife isstanding here and the other
preacher standing over there,and Carlton.
My job was to meet with him, regardless of who was in the
room, and I stood there and Ibegan to share I want y'all to
hear this and all of a sudden hestarted telling me things that
people had said to him.
That was like complete lies,I'm like, and all I have.
(29:19):
I heard God say you just talkedabout this on Tuesday.
Now you're about to live it.
Stand right there and take it.
So I stood there with myuniform on, had my towel on, I
just stood there and after aboutmaybe 40 minutes or so they
stopped the meeting.
They had prayer and while theywere praying I said to myself as
(29:39):
soon as they get to praying.
I am getting out this room.
When they got through prayinghe called me to his bedside,
asked me a couple questions thatwas confirmation that I knew
people had been in his ear andhad tears running down my face.
I got on the elevator.
I went downstairs.
While going down the stairs onthe, I got to the bottom of the
elevator at the nursing home.
That was because at that time Ilived.
(30:01):
I had an apartment.
I'm in the house now, but I wasin the apartment.
Then there was a lady who livedin the apartment building with
us, was at the bottom of thesteps, had visited her dad and
she saw me and she's like can Iget a ride home?
Cause I had called my wifeupstairs and I was mad, carlton,
and I told my wife I don'tthink I can do this.
But y'all know how, if you keeptalking negative, you'll talk
(30:24):
yourself out of something.
But now I got this neighbor inthe car with me.
So now my language has to shift, have to shift, but now I can't
talk crazy.
By the time I got home, theLord said to me you got peace, I
got you on this, don't youworry about, and I'll honestly,
you all and this been ugly.
I have not looked back, I justcontinue to trust God.
(30:45):
I remember those moments, butthat was a dark, crazy, ugly
season and what got me throughit was my cold experience Cause
if you could beat my mama and Icould take that and I could take
this over here.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Wow, wow.
And man, I'll sit here like, and if you haven't just taken
that moment to be in that pittedparty or that mad or that, and
now you wouldn't be where youare now.
And that's the thing.
We would sit there and mistakeor mislabel or what God has done
(31:25):
to us.
It would be like, oh mygoodness, that I'm gonna quit.
And I tell people all the timequit.
And if you quit you won't seethe end.
And I tell I'm like I'm notgonna quit.
So one thing that I had to learnis how God reveals to us the
(31:47):
seasons that we are in.
And even like now, cause I keptasking God, why did you move me
to Duluth?
I was doing well in makingGeorgia, where I was living
before, where I was living inFort Valley, I had my own radio
show, I was doing my podcast, Iwas singing on the praise and
(32:09):
worship team, I was opening upthe church, I was doing well.
And you bring me here to Duluth, where I don't know nobody, and
I'm like, well, god, why didyou?
And for me I was mislabelingthis season, this waiting season
for my next.
And then God showed me theother day that this is your
(32:29):
building, this is your growingand building season.
And I said, wow, it hit me likea sack of potatoes.
And so one thing that I wannaask you all when God revealed
that what the season is for youall, how was it, how did it look
for you and what did you learnfrom that revelation?
Speaker 3 (32:57):
I'll go for me real
quick.
I wanted to kind of piggybackoff some tips that earlier.
Excuse me, coach Tiffany, Idon't mean to call you to.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
I know I Tuti.
Speaker 3 (33:10):
When she was talking
about serve, doing when you're
serving, you know, just do thebest you can.
And I think a lot of times weforget that our God is a God of
excellence.
Right, so we're serving him infullness.
Why is anything that we'redoing not an excellence, that is
not a direct representation ofthe God that we say that we
serve?
And if we're not moving inexcellence and we're professing
(33:33):
to have his into, to be hisdisciples and other people see
that, what does that say about?
What does that, you know, portray to them when they're
looking at our lives and they'renot reading their Bibles and
we're operating, you know, inhalf, half the standard.
So you know, I appreciate whatshe said because that is a
reminder to me to whatever I'mdoing, just to do it in
(33:55):
excellence, because God is a Godof excellence.
But like in like, in my currentseason I'm personally I'm in
like the the test and trials andspiritual warfare season now,
or the waiting season, becausebasically I was my situation, my
position, as I was a salesdirector for the each region for
(34:17):
the company that I worked forfor a couple years.
We were bought by anotherentity, came in, they hired this
, this guy, and God kind ofprepares you for things before
they happen.
So I.
The first thing that happened inthat season was my counterpart,
who am I am.
They split our companies up andme and him went over to the new
(34:38):
company and then the othercompany.
Half of the people stayed onthat side when they split up and
they, we went over that side.
I was going to continue to runthe entire sales team for the
nation and he took down, likecommercial responsibility for
the overall business.
Different cultures and in thecompanies we were from, you know
, from a culture that took carethey they're their people looked
(35:00):
out for their people to justlike a comp, a culture of, you
know, get the job done, nomatter what.
It's about the bottom lineversus about taking care of your
people.
And he called me one day and hesaid hey, man, got something to
tell you.
I'm like what's going on?
So I was called to a meetingand they didn't tell me why I
was coming.
They made me drive up here likefive hours and they introduced
(35:23):
me to my replacement and sowe're going back to the old
structure and so now my, my, myspiritual, okay, something's
going on.
And so things begin to play out.
And then, you know, the guycame in.
He would try to like.
One time I was on vacation I hadwe had a meeting company.
Why?
My one of my managers?
I had set her up for a meetingthat we had with the division
(35:46):
head.
I wasn't there, but I hadalready planned a vacation
months prior to him coming.
Her knees gets in a near fatalaccident and she rushes to to be
there.
So I was like she calls mewhile I'm on vacation and I said
well, send Doug and myself anemail, tell him what's going on
and you know everything shouldbe fine.
(36:07):
Next day I check my phone fromwork.
He leaves, he puts a meeting onmy calendar While I'm on
vacation and it saysexpectations.
I'm like what is this about?
So then that Tuesday I get backto work, I have a meeting with
him and he talks about how badthe meeting went Because nobody
(36:27):
was there and do I think Ishould have been in the meeting
because she shouldn't have beenthere?
I'm like what's the purpose ofme being on pto then?
Why would I Stop my vacationwith my family On the time that
I earn?
Well, you, as a leader, youshould.
You know this is part of.
I was like okay, whatever.
So it's just a little bittythings like that, right.
And so in the back of my mind,as I'm, you know, studying and
(36:49):
just doing what I'm doing, godis like, and in the mind that
I've been saying, I want to kindof branch out and do my own
thing anyway.
So God is like this season isabout to be over.
Come back after the 4th of July.
He, he sends me another meeting.
Clear your calendar.
I'm coming in town, meet me atthe office.
I was like babe, this is this.
Probably, finna, tell me Idon't have a job, no more.
Slowly but surely, that's whathappened, but God worked it out
(37:12):
where I would be continued toget paid for an extended period
of time.
And so in this season, now isthe season where I am Building
what God wants me to build, andthat is me being diligent about
studying my word, me gettingcloser To him, all the things
that he requires of me toprepare me for this next season
that I wouldn't have been ableto do it on my job, right.
(37:35):
But, every step of the way.
He said I'm going to take careof you if you trust me.
So this is like my, my test, mybuild your faith season.
This is all you want and it'sjust.
You know.
Continually, god, it justcontinues to show out for me and
even those those times when youknow the devil's like well,
your sevens about to be up, youmight need to go get a job, blah
, blah, blah.
And then I always think aboutmy God.
(37:57):
So I got like a little thingwhere I can look back over my
life and I said God did that?
He mean he brought me out ofthat situation.
He brought me out of thissituation, but in every season
of my life he brought me out ofsaid situation.
And then, I have happened when Iwanted to happen or how I
wanted to happen, but ithappened and it was for my good.
Like third, john 13 and 7 saysyou may not understand now, but
(38:20):
soon you will.
And so that's where I'm atright now.
So God is preparing me forwhatever it is that I'm going to
embark or endeavor on in thisnext season of life.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Yes, I'm telling you,
I, as I I was on uh, I don't
know who page I was on, butanyway she was asking um, what,
what is the word that God hasgiven you for 2024?
And my word was building and Iand and the thing about it, just
like you say, I'm building onwhat God has already given me,
(38:53):
but I'm gonna build and continueto build on Because he done
showed me what season of men,and so when we get that season,
now we can learn and now we cango with that, and that's one
thing that God has shown me.
Okay, now is your growing andbuild a season, because you know
, for him to take me from, likeI said, my church.
(39:13):
My brother was my pastor, so Ididn't have to worry about I got
family, all my family, missionaries, you know.
I got probably about Uh four orfive siblings.
They got their own church, so Ididn't have to, you know, and
so, so, leaving all of that, itwas like, well, god, you know.
But now is for me to grow andexpand more and to build on what
(39:38):
he has Given me to do.
He told me that the radiostation.
He said I had to let that goand I'm like God, I just started
it, you know, and I was soexcited when I got on the radio.
That's a dream of mine to be ona radio station and have my own
radio station, my own time andeverything.
(39:58):
And God is like no, I gotsomething greater and I got
something better, but I need youhere and need you to focus on
building.
And I was like, okay, all right, that's what you're well being
to do and that's what God is, isis getting, is asking us, is to
learn what he's doing so we canbe able to understand my Um,
(40:20):
the acronym Cued is quick andunited, understanding, excited
and determined for christ.
So we have to be able tounderstand what god is doing in
that moment.
And so, um, but I didn't wantto take away from you.
Uh, I know you were gettingready to say something, coach.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
I agree with you,
like and the word that I heard
for for me going into 2024 isequipping.
So it's like god is equippingme for whatever task he has that
at hand, and I kind of have anidea of about it.
But I'm just kind of they got,you know, take his course.
Um, I've been, I've been, I'vebeen in a Jonah season for a
(41:00):
long time, so now I'm out ofthat Jonah season, so I'm just
going to let god equip me andcontinue to perfect me and
mature me.
Um, so I can, you know, dowhatever it is that he desires
me to do.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
Coach Tiffany, do you haveanything to say about?
About that?
Speaker 2 (41:18):
I love that so much.
Um for me, I think Coming intothe season happened so fast that
I didn't have time to reallyprocess the season itself.
But I do know that I was veryaware that I had been prepared.
(41:39):
I had gotten my real estatelicense not long ago.
I'm a collector of of newexperiences and information.
I've got degrees,certifications.
I just learned stuff.
That's what I do.
I got to Bethany house andalmost immediately we had a
situation with a property wewere renting For the safe house
(42:01):
while our current safe house wasbeing renovated and the
landlord Didn't want to give oursecurity deposit back.
And Instantly I had to put thisreal estate knowledge into play
.
Like who doesn't get, why wouldI need that?
But because I understoodlandlord tenant laws, because I
understood I just finishedstudying all that I had that in
(42:25):
my pocket.
So I, firmly and strongly, hesent her a letter saying that
she was in the wrong and sheneeded to release our money.
And she did oh, but I had thelanguage for it, I understood
the law and I could explain itto her very nicely that we're
not punks and we're not stupid.
We know that with this money.
So even things like that, likethere were the everything that
(42:47):
I've done in my life I can goall the way back to my mom was a
real estate agent and when shefarmed she would have us stuff
in envelopes and she taught usthis system for how to stuff
envelopes quickly and to savemoney at Bethany house instead
of hiring companies to do ourmailings.
Sometimes in in house will doour mailings and I got to teach
(43:10):
all the volunteers this quickway To fold and stuff and get it
done so we can knock thosethings out.
It's like every season, if youreally, like you said, see why
be excellent, like, just just doit well, right, you just don't
know eight years old stuff inenvelopes that you know 40 years
(43:31):
later.
It would benefit you and whatyou're doing, but you took the
time, even as a child, toembrace something that was being
taught to you.
We just have to, and everysingle season, know that God's
he doesn't waste anything and,as ambassadors for him, like you
said, see why we have to justbe excellent in what we do and
(43:51):
and be excited about the workthat we have, and I'm praying
for the maturity enough to beexcited through the trials.
You know I'm really.
This has been my mindset overthe year, because this has been
a year.
But, god, I know what you'redoing, I know that I'm I pray
big, I believe big, so he's gotto fortify me for the things I'm
(44:11):
praying for.
And you can't do that unlessyou go through these seasons
where you're being built, whereyou're learning spiritual
warfare, because the the demonsI'm going to have to fight when
I get what I'm been praying for.
You're the generals and I got tobe ready.
Speaker 1 (44:25):
I can't be unbattle
tested for the night, so and
that kind of reminds me of whenyou said that.
That kind of reminds me, and Imean, cut you off.
But Um, how, david, was itprepared, like when he got to
kill the light?
Speaker 4 (44:40):
He had already been
doing that.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
Yeah, right there,
before he even even, and so you
know that, that, just that, justbring it all together.
What you were saying about, evenwith the the learner, how to
stuff envelopes, you know, um, Iwould think about past the days
when he was talking about theplow, the plowing and and how
you know that stuff.
(45:03):
You know some of the stuff thateven when I was a kid, my dad
had me doing that I'm able to,to stick with it now, because
it's like what they ain't got toit that when I was a kid you
know.
So now the devil got to comewith something a little bit
different, because I alreadyknow I do that.
So you got to come withsomething, come with to come
with when, when it comes to meand and I was thinking about how
(45:24):
you said that it's a lot ofstuff that I've taken that I'm
like we're doing, why I'm doingthis, you know.
And then next day you know, andit's like, oh, this is why you
know and and that's I mean.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cutyou off, no, no, that's good,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
I just went to think
about that.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
I was like oh, my
goodness, that just made so much
sense.
And Because we we all gatherthings, we all get knowledge,
and get knowledge on things, that we be like hey, I don't
even understand why I'm doingthis, but I am doing this, you
know.
And now it comes to to thedefinition that, oh, my goodness
(46:05):
, this is why I was learning howto stuff envelope.
I know you was kidding you, like doing my mom one day, so,
um, but, pastor Edward, did youhave anything to say about?
Speaker 4 (46:20):
Wow, I just man, both
of you all, just just so
blessed me.
I I know you did it once,carlton.
I think it's worth mentioningagain um with Tiffany said, just
Because sometimes we get incertain seasons and I think
again to your point, see why, knowing what, what your season
is, and you got to be able tolabel that thing on that thing
(46:42):
and walk in whatever that seasonis, but oftentimes we let our
feelings get involved in thoseseasons and those feelings
sometimes cause us not to walkin excellence and not realizing
that, whatever you saw, you goreap and I just think again,
excellent, I I'm that 's.
I know PD always thought that'sa kingdom value, that's what we
should be doing.
But we don't always do that.
(47:03):
We don't always give our bestfoot For especially something
menial or whatever case.
Maybe it was like man, wherever, wherever you find yourself or
wherever God places, you give itlike it's the best thing going
Because you don't know like whenthat's gonna come up again.
I've got so many of those whichis at Tiffany, so many those
stories of Something I learnedin the previous season, previous
(47:25):
job, previous assignment, previous whatever, and I found
myself using it later, savingmyself time because I know how
to do it.
I got to make no phone calls.
I can get done quick, fast andhurry.
I made the pull stuff togetherjust because I learned that
skill in the previous season.
Um, I know your question wasabout just kind of how do we
handle when we get therevelations about the season I
(47:47):
know for me sometimes, I knowfor me, sometimes the?
I get multiple.
I get the initial revelationthat God is doing something, but
sometimes the manifestation orthe reality of what he's doing,
that by the time I get it, I'mso locked in.
But I find myself andspecifically I mean we talk
(48:11):
about this note-taking thing NowI've had to scale since I was
like 2021.
I didn't get the revelationuntil April of 2022.
So I was 50, so I was 20, 50,was that 52?
When I got this revelation fromGod.
(48:32):
Yo do something with this.
You got this gift.
I'm like what?
So it's kind of crazy.
I've been running around withthis thing all this time and God
, all of a sudden, he releasesit.
And then I start having what Ithought Carlton, what I thought
was a vision.
And Lord said to me no, thatain't.
(48:55):
No, what you're saying is views.
I'm giving you peaks, but Ineed you to keep.
Let me hold the paintbrush, cause you getting happy about
what you think is gonna happen.
You don't have a clue aboutwhat God is going to do.
And so, a true story in March ofthis year, I was at the
Preachers Academy that PD andKeon Henderson did at the first
(49:21):
break, and I normally don't bethe first one to stand up and
say something, especially whenI'm in no taking mode, cause in
no taking mode, you're just likeno taking mode.
So.
But they opened up for peopleto kind of give takeaways, and
that first session he talkedabout the filter of the heart,
the pastors, et cetera.
So I stood up I was like, okay,I'm gonna be the first one to
(49:43):
say something.
And I made sure that I let PDknow I'm Edwin, cause he gave me
a shout out at the Dominateyour Year Challenge.
He sure did I remember that.
And so I said who I was.
He was like, oh, you're Edwin.
And he paused.
Everybody said wait.
(50:04):
He said if you learncopywriting I would hire you.
So the whole room startedclapping and I'm standing there,
cause at that point I forgotwhat I was supposed to say,
cause I'm receiving what he'ssaying.
Cause I'm like this is good, butI don't really know what this
means, cause I'm like I've heardcopywriting, but what does that
like really mean?
(50:24):
Right, there's a pastor at thetable with me that I had never
met, whose daughter was inillegal space.
He reached out to her while PDis talking to me to get her to
send him something to give to meabout copywriting.
Speaker 1 (50:39):
I love it Fast
forward.
Speaker 4 (50:40):
This is true.
I'm telling you, these seasonsare so important.
We had thrive, which is nowOctober of 23.
We had thrive and, if y'allremember, day one I was sitting
kind of in the back, but day twoI was over on the side.
So I was sitting and typing andthere was this young man
sitting behind me I had nevermet.
He saw me typing and he waslike man, how can I get your
(51:02):
notes?
So I said let's exchangenumbers.
And he said I said man, send meyour email address so that
Monday morning after we got backfrom thrive, he shoots me a
text.
He says great Monday morning.
Whatever he said, he says man,I pray God's blessings on your
copywriting business.
(51:26):
Here's my email address.
So when he not talked that week, I was like he said man, look,
the Holy Spirit told me to singin that text and you would know
what it meant.
When I saw the text, I wassitting there, I was getting
ready to do some notes.
It was a Monday morning, I wasabout to do some notes for the
day in and I saw it and all Iheard the Holy Spirit say start
your own publishing company.
(51:46):
You start publishing people'sbooks, and I heard it's clear as
day.
But because I understandseasons, don't you get out there
and start running, or not?
Now slow it down.
You gotta learn, you gottadevelop, you gotta do some
research, you gotta do somethings.
But the seed was planted.
So as I deal, I'm trusting himto DEW to keep that thing moist
(52:12):
and I'll continue to pressforward and in the right season
I'll see the DUE, and so for me,revelations come as I continue
to be faithful and the stepshe's ordered for my life, and as
time moves forward, I'll letGod get the glory.
Speaker 3 (52:25):
Ah, that's amazing.
Speaker 4 (52:27):
That is so good.
Speaker 3 (52:28):
That is amazing.
I just gotta give you kudos onthat because it's funny.
I remember when I first joinedBible U and I would see the
notes, and now I know it's you.
So that is amazing.
And the beautiful thing aboutthis is one thing I learned that
every season is meant tomanifest a purpose in your life,
which is ultimately to get youto your final purpose of what it
(52:51):
is that you need to do to thisearth to do so.
He did not send me here to be asales executive.
He sent me here with a giftalready inside me and I have to
cultivate that gift throughthese seasons in order to add
value to the creator, because ifyou're not valuable to the
creator, then you're notvaluable to anyone.
So during those seasons, I needto craft my value to the
(53:12):
creator and then add more valueto the world for the kingdom,
and then you will start to seeall the other things that we
have talked about come tofruition and you start to
understand why I went throughthat.
They say you read what you sow,you just don't reap when you
sow.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
Right.
Speaker 3 (53:28):
You might reap five
years later, you might reap two
years later, but you are gonnasow what you reap.
And here's the thing about itOne seed produces an apple tree.
How many apples come off thattree?
Speaker 2 (53:39):
Right Wow.
Speaker 3 (53:41):
Wow.
So it's exponential what yousow either good or bad.
So when you're sowing for Godand you're going through these
seasons and you stay in faithfulto Him, he's gonna
exponentially bless you, as longas you stay consistent with
what it is that he wants you todo and give Him the glory in
each and every of one of thoseseasons Right, because you know
that it's in Him that you live, move and have your being.
Speaker 1 (54:02):
Right, that's right,
that's so good, I loved it so
much.
I ain't gonna tell no story, because the simple fact of just
listening to everybody and howGod has really revealed
everything to you.
Pastor Edwin, I tell you, youknow, when you started with the
(54:25):
notes and getting the notes toeveryone, I knew you had a
calling on your life period andI was like this is not just a
normal note taken, you know, because I was like is he right?
Like how can you even focus towrite all those notes like that?
I don't even know.
I know I write good notes, butgoodness.
(54:47):
But I'm so excited because, likewe all said, is that you know
our seasons sometimes we don'teven recognize it that God is
already.
Like you were saying that youwas note taken when you were 22
and then to come back and Godjust put it on.
And one thing you said, Carlton, that just blessed my soul and
(55:12):
I was sitting there thinkingabout how you were saying you
know, when the apple tree grows, and it grows so many apples and
you know it start back over andthen it grows some more.
So we are always growing andbeing able to give what we have.
Okay, we don't need, we don'thave to recognize the fact that
(55:35):
we don't even recognize the factthat the apple tree don't eat
its own apple.
The apple tree is for somebodyelse.
The apple tree, the apple, thefruit of your labor, is for
someone else.
It's not for you, and so-.
Speaker 3 (55:49):
I don't wanna just
plant trees, I mean, I don't
wanna just bear fruit, I wannaplant trees.
Speaker 1 (55:54):
Right, right, oh, man
, that is so good, that's so
good.
Oh, my goodness, I'm so excited.
Did you have something to say?
I?
Speaker 2 (56:03):
did?
I just wanted to piggyback onwhat Pastor Ed said, too, about
waiting for the right season.
Like God will reveal somethingto you in one season that you're
not supposed to execute in thisseason.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
Right.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
And I am a like get
the play and run girl and in
this season I have really had tolearn to slow down.
You know, joshua walked withMoses for a long time and he
wasn't the leader yet.
He had to sit and watch andwait.
He had a vision.
David had a vision.
He knew he was gonna be king.
Right, he already was given theassignment, wasn't time yet he
(56:41):
had to wait for the season forhimself to ascend to the throne.
And I think that's reallyimportant and key, when God
shows you something, to reallysit with it and ask when?
When am I supposed to do this?
Speaker 3 (56:55):
Right.
Speaker 2 (56:56):
When you're a
visionary person already and you
see something so clearly, youwanna bring it to fruition now
because you forgot the picture.
But it's so important to justbe still and hear from the Lord
and collect the views.
I love how you said that, pastor Ed, because I have not
had language for it.
But it's not the full visionall the time.
(57:17):
Sometimes it's just views, it'ssnapshots of the whole and you
have to wait and see when youget the full picture and then
when it's time to execute, tobring that full picture to
fruition.
So that helped me a lot.
I'm feeling it.
I'll give you credit the firsttime after that.
Right, I'm?
Speaker 3 (57:34):
feeling it, I'm
feeling it, I'm feeling it.
I'm feeling it Really resonatedwith me.
So I would definitely, if it'sokay, to kind of get some
feedback from you, pastor Ed,and yourself, q, because
sometimes I struggle with okay, you have the vision right or you
have an inkling of what youshould be doing.
How do you balance the waitingand learning while you're doing
(57:58):
the faith, and doing right, because faith without works is
dead.
So but then also you don'twanna move too fast, like you
said, because you're trying tocount the cost.
So how do you guys ascertain, when you say, okay, now it's
time for me to move forward inthis season, after I've done all
my due diligence and what youknow, if anything that is
consistent, that kind ofresonates with you and you say,
(58:20):
okay, that's like the go button, that's the green.
Speaker 1 (58:25):
Ah, that's good,
Because, like I guess for me,
when I get that because afterI've been waiting and I feel
like I've gotten the green lightfor me is when I get
confirmation, like if I've beenpraying for something and I just
(58:47):
spoke it with somebody, andthen, you know, somebody confirm
it I could be somebody thatwasn't even in the room or
whatever and they confirm it.
That's like, okay, all right, god, I hear you and I'm so.
I like to say I'm so in tunewith God, but I'm one of the
(59:07):
ones that I'm gonna pray and I'mnot gonna move until I get that
confirmation, because of thesimple fact that I don't wanna
be wrong.
I wanna make sure, like evenwith this, you know, when Pastor
Daly started talking about thison Sunday, I was like, okay,
god, you got it.
You know, because even with theinterviews that I do, god will
(59:30):
always confirm that it's theright person for the interview.
I don't go like I have people, all the people, come to me and
say, oh, I wanna be on your showor whatever.
It don't work like that, like Ihave to literally say that to
serve people.
It don't work like that.
God sends me to people, almostlike how he sent Noah the
(59:52):
animals God send me to people.
I don't have to go and look forthem and I'm not, you know and
nobody.
Just finna, come and say, ohokay, I can get on a boat too.
Nah, it don't work like that.
You know what I'm saying, sothat's my take.
I'll know about you, coachTiffany, how you can handle that
and give some feedback to him.
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
I would say the same
thing confirmations, multiple
different ways.
God usually confirms thingsthree different kinds of ways,
to me at least.
And then open doors and closeddoors.
What are the doors that areopen and around you that line up
with those confirmations?
What are the doors that areclosing around you that line up
with those confirmations?
And that always wise counsel.
(01:00:36):
That's why I love being inthese communities where I know
people are praying, I knowpeople are learning God's words
so they know what it looks likewhen God speaks.
And people who are encouragingso they can pray with you and
counsel you and speak to youfrom experience and from a
spiritual place.
So those are some of the waysthat I really seek God.
(01:00:59):
I'm really big on talking to myhusband about things.
As a wife, he's got to behearing from God for me too.
So when I'm wearing things byhim and he's like, no, that's
left field, I heard nothingclose to it.
That's all for me.
So a lot of differentconfirmations and a lot of
(01:01:20):
different ways to seek it out.
Peace also if I'm at unrestwith something, there's a
difference between a nervousanxiousness about doing
something new and a just unrest.
If I'm unrest, I feel like thathas been a sign to me that I'm
out of alignment If I take astep and I'm at peace, even if
(01:01:44):
it's scary, because you can bescared and at peace at the same
time.
So, but if I'm at peace and Iknow that the scared is just
normal nervousness about doingsomething new that peace for me
has been a good lightning rodand a good measure for me.
Speaker 4 (01:02:03):
Yeah, yeah, that's
good All I would add.
I know the clock would stop andI'm just running out of a
demographic at this point, butwhat I would say, I agree with
everything that they've said,100%.
I should have been taking notes, stephanie, what you just said,
stephanie, that was reallyreally good.
I think about Joshua and thatwhat God did with Joshua, it was
(01:02:25):
different than what he did withMoses.
Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
Right right.
Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
Sometimes it's like
wait a minute.
Okay, I know what the red seacrossing looked like, but this
ain't the red sea.
I'm probably gonna do this one.
Moses didn't have to put hisfoot in the water, but Joshua
did Right and then.
So you gotta be bold enough tomake those steps, Even if you
just make the steps, and themore you put his foot in the
(01:02:50):
water.
The Bible says that God stoppedwater coming from because it
was a river, Unlike the sea, where the water's just kind of
sitting.
You got a river that's rushing.
He stops water that's comingand that's going, it just
suspends.
That's what God's about to dowith you, sir.
So just be ready to put yourfoot in the water, man.
All right, thank you, I wouldsay this is good for your
(01:03:13):
maintenance.
Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
And I definitely
appreciate that feedback.
I really appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
That's good.
Okay, well, I'm gonna leteveryone go.
I feel like you all have givenadvice to everyone on how to
handle the season that you arein.
But if anybody wants to justgive like a little quick advice
(01:03:40):
to the listeners, to theaudience, that you know how you
know, to whatever season Godhave you in to enjoy it, to
embrace it, so if you have anyadvice on that, that will be
perfect, and then we'll get upout of here.
Speaker 4 (01:04:02):
Faith is the
foundation that we stand on
Pieces.
As Tiffany said earlier, peaceis not the absence of pain, it's
the strength to endure it.
I just think, whatever seasonyou're in, we can't stop
trusting God just because itfeels crazy Right.
We can't stop trusting God.
(01:04:22):
God's job is not to make all myfeelings feel well, right.
God is a faith God and I got tobe reminded of that.
But I also got to be remindedof, whatever season you're in,
he's present and His presence isthe fullness of joy.
And just like and I'll say thisand I opened up with this way
earlier that when Paul was leftfor dead, there were disciples
(01:04:48):
that came around him, and theBible says he got up and went
back Keanu, I want to thank youfor bringing us together that
there's somebody that may bedown, but our words tonight will
help them get up, go back andstay where God called them to be
and then move to the next place.
(01:05:08):
Because then the next verse ofBible says that Paul then went
to the next city and preachedand people came to Christ, and
then he came back to the verycity, because God will always
have people ready to do what Godneeds to get done.
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
In Jesus' name.
Hey, that's the best advicethat anybody could take.
I just want to thank you allfor being on here.
I'm so glad that God allowedthis to happen.
Like I was mentioning earlier,I tried to do this earlier and
(01:05:42):
it wasn't time, and that's thething.
I had to realize that God hadto really sit me down because I
was so ready or go, but itwasn't time then.
So I'm thankful that God hasgiven me the grace to be able to
do this, and I just want youall to let everyone know where
(01:06:04):
they can reach you all, wherethey can follow you all, and
that way we can get everybody toknow exactly what you're doing
in this community.

(01:08:40):
we honor you, god.
But Kiana, who has brought ustogether the timing of this a
week before Christmas?
God, we just pray in the name ofJesus as we close this out, god
, we pray that somebody hasheard something that they needed
to hear, God.
We pray to God that the wordsof our mouth and the meditation
of our hearts have not only beenacceptable to you, god, but we
(01:09:02):
pray, god, that they'll bepleasing to those who hear,
because you said that faithcomes by hearing and hearing by
the word.
And so, god, we just thank youfor the wisdom that's been
released.
We thank you for the wordthat's been released, god, and
we just pray that, as that hasbeen released, that people will
receive it and that, whateverseason they're in, they'll stand
(01:09:22):
trusting you, knowing thatyou're the God of timing and
nobody has mastered time likeyou.
We put our hands in your handand we thank you for this time
of our lives as we move forwardto see you do what you're going
to do in a great way, not justin this season, but in the
seasons to come.
You get the glory and we praythis prayer in Jesus' name.
(01:09:43):
