M. Scott Tilton est le co-fondateur et co-directeur de la Fondation Nous, une plateforme d'échange entre la Louisiane et le monde francophone. Il a vécu quelques années à Paris où il travaillait en tant que consultant chez Ernst & Young France sur des projets pour l'Union européenne, l'ONU et le gouvernement français. Pendant son séjour à Paris, Scott a lancé et dirigé une initiative qui a vu la Louisiane devenir le premier État américain à rejoindre l'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (La Francophonie). Diplômé de l'Université de Virginie, Scott est également titulaire d'une maîtrise en relations internationales de Sciences Po Paris.
À travers la Fondation Nous, M. Scott Tilton a co-produit Les voix du renouveau (Voices of Renewal), un projet vidéo qui se concentre sur la manière dont le mouvement de revitalisation du créole louisianais fait face à la crise de l'érosion du littoral en Louisiane.
