to teach you how they did it so that you can succeed too.
Let's go In this episode, I'm going to challenge you to do
something that is incredibly difficult to adopt at first.
But once you get in the swing ofthings, it is absolutely
undeniable the miracles that take place and how you're able

(01:04):
to bring in everything that you've ever wanted, but in ways
that you cannot take credit for and in ways that you cannot
imagine. Am I talking about manifestation
in a sense? But specifically, you've heard
me talk about manifesting in faith.
And this is a bit of that, but I'm going to break it down in a
way that is a little bit different than I've ever done

(01:26):
before and that is going to be alittle more mainstreamish and a
little less faith-based. But it's obviously all tied to
faith because hello, that's whatI talk about on this show.
So I want to give you sort of a warning that and the main part
of sort of the Bible thumping that I'm going to do on in this

(01:50):
whole episode is the part where the Bible talks about we are not
supposed to have like more than one God and essentially
worshipping money, right, is treating money like a God.
I'm going to give you a few examples of how we all do that
and especially me. I'm guilty of it and how it
doesn't seem like that's what's happening in the moment.

(02:12):
But once you learn to spot thosethings and then remove them or
shift your energy around them, suddenly, yes, suddenly you
unlock a potential to receive like never before.
It is absolutely unmatched. So grab a notebook, pull up a
chair, get your tea, coffee, latte, you name it.

(02:34):
This one is going to be an interesting one.
It's probably not going to be very long and you're probably
going to share it with a friend. And you're probably going to
want to revisit it a couple of times because it's going to take
a moment for you to really wrap your head around this and for
you to really get into practice with this because our default
setting is but I need money right now, OK?
So hopefully with this episode, you're going to break up with

(02:55):
that default setting, at least reset it to this new setting.
And it's going to be absolutely interesting, God willing.
OK, here we go. So you want something, and yet
you might secretly tell yourselfyou can't afford that.
OK, Well, no matter how many times you write it down, people

(03:17):
have told me they do the 369 method and all this kind of
manifesting stuff, and that's not going to work because at the
core of it all, you lack faith because why?
Because you're in reality, whichis your bank account does not
match your aspirations. So it is counterintuitive to

(03:37):
have a low bank account and havehigh aspirations, desires,
material taste. OK, you see where I'm going with
it? They do not align.
So the reason that they do not align, and here's a little Bible
thumping part, is because you are programmed to believe that

(03:59):
you need money in order to get the thing or go to the place.
OK, by thinking you need money to get the thing or go to the
place or have whatever is to make money a God because you're
saying it can't be done without money.

(04:20):
That is putting shackles on God's potential.
That is to say, God can't do it without money.
And honestly, who are we to tellhim how to do what he does
period on period? So my dears, because I have
lived all of my 50 years, well, my adult life, let's just say in

(04:40):
that same way with that same programming, got to make more
money, got to make more money. It's going to take money.
As soon as I have money, I really want money because I want
to, OK. The reality is, let's just
actually, let's forget reality. The fact of the matter is that
you actually do not need to figure out how to make money in

(05:02):
order to have whatever it is that you desire, so long as what
you desire is in alignment, OK, with your faith and let's just
say his will and plan for your life.
OK, let's add that little touch.OK, So sometimes though, we do
get the things that we that aren't the best for us because

(05:23):
we have lessons to learn. Let's just face it, OK?
If you have a child and you knowthat candy is not good for them
at 9:00 PM because they're goingto be wired.
If they have that chocolate, they're not going to be able to
sleep. And you're telling them no, no,
no, honey, it's because you need, you can't have that
because then you're not going tobe able to fall asleep.
But I really want it. And you give the child the
chocolate because let's face it,you're just like exhausted,

(05:44):
tired of hearing it and battlingit.
So you give the child some chocolate, OK.
Do we know that the chocolate's not going to kill the kid?
We know it's not going to kill them, but we know it's not the
best for them and especially in that moment.
And we know the price they're going to pay and how right now
they think it's great to have the chocolate, but later on,
they're going to be exhausted. And the next day they have, you
know, whatever going on, they'regoing to feel it all day
anyways, OK. That is how we get treated in

(06:06):
the spiritual realm, I imagine, OK, when we're just like, but I
really, really like him. But I love it.
But I really want that. But that's my dream thing.
OK? So then sometimes we get we get
it and it's chocolate, OK? And our stomach hurts later and
we're exhausted and, yeah, traumatized.

(06:26):
Some of us are traumatized. OK, So decide get really clear.
Even even this part is surprisingly hard.
Some of you might be unique in your ability to get real crystal
clear really fast about what youwant.
But I am here to say to you thatI really got intentional.

(06:48):
Got a sketchbook? It doesn't even have lines on
it. Opened it up, got pen to paper
and really sat there and asked myself what do I want?
And it's interesting because thelist wasn't very big and it made
me a little bit sad. I mean, proud of myself in one

(07:09):
hand, but sad in the other. In which I excuse me, in which I
thought to myself, wow, I'm working and working and working,
and I've been working for years.I'm working for a long time and
I work almost every day. And then I look at this short
list and go what for? What for like, for what?
So it actually made me more excited about this process.

(07:33):
And once it started to work, I think it's always worked
throughout my life. But we just don't pay attention
because we have egos. And we give ourselves credit for
all the brilliant things that are going on in our lives
because why? Because we're so talented and we
worked so hard and, you know, wemade the thing happen.
And when you sit back and go, OK, life is short.
My want list is even shorter. Why am I working so hard?

(07:57):
God, do your thing. Because I'm no longer going to
put limits on how the how you dothings, OK?
So you just have to decide what you want.
What I did was I went a step further and I asked myself, why
do I actually really want that? So I'm going to use money as an
example. If I say to myself, well, I

(08:20):
really want $50,000 a month, OK,and I'm working really hard and
I've obviously done more than that, you know, in my past to
be, you guys know the story. But when I sit there and go, I
want $50,000 a month, some of you it's 5000 a month, 10,000 a
month, whatever thousand a monthdepending on where you live.
Then I made myself sit there andgo, well, why is that the

(08:45):
number? And by the way, that's not my
number, OK? I'm just using it as an example.
But I had to ask myself, why is that the number?
And then I really thought about it and I couldn't exactly figure
it out. And then I had to ask myself,
OK, what does that number accomplish?

(09:05):
What is that accomplished for mynervous system, my health and
Wellness? What is it accomplished for my
lifestyle? But most of all, what does it
actually accomplish? Like in my mind, Like, what is
it doing? Is it like my ego?
Is it like, what is it? OK, And so then once you break
down a few things and you go, OK, because you're working hard,

(09:25):
you probably want to make $250,000 a year or something
like that, depending on where you're at again.
And then you have to go, but whydo you want to make $250,000 a
year? Like, what is the goal?
Like, OK, so you make $250,000 ayear, but then what?
Like what, what are you doing with it?
Because what happens is you can make $250,000 a year and then go
buy the car and the house and the this and the that.
And now you're spread so thin, the 250,000 just doesn't seem

(09:48):
like enough. OK.
I've even heard stories of very wealthy people who say, you
know, once you pass about 5 to 10 million a year, like, you
don't even feel the difference. And granted, some could argue
because, you know, private jets or, you know, whatever the case
may be. But most people, and I've been
around a lot of very wealthy people, they don't feel the

(10:10):
difference psychologically. They like to see that 10,000,000
number for the year. Obviously, it's a milestone.
Some people want to see $100 million, some people want to see
a billion dollars. Some people are motivated by
really different things than youand I, but that is less about
the actual sort of power that the money has and more about

(10:31):
your perception of that power. And what I mean by that is you
don't actually have to work really, really hard to make
money first in order for you to get to do the things in life
that you want to do. So you've heard me talk about
how I got to Club 33 in previousepisodes.

(10:55):
You've heard me talk about how Igot on the field in the NFL.
You've heard me talk about how Igot in the owners box suite for
the Beyoncé concert, the owner of the stadium and one of the
NFL teams. Umm, you've heard me talk about
these things and yet I wasn't able to fully grasp what the

(11:19):
process was of that. So first and foremost, like I
said earlier, sit down, get pen to paper and really ask
yourself, what do I want? And then you have to ask
yourself, why do you want it? And get really honest about why
you Why do you want the big house?
Why do you want the fancy car? Why do you want $50,000 a month?
Like get really honest with yourself and don't sit there and

(11:42):
say, Lord bless me with all thismoney because I can, I'm going
to be a blessing to my family. No, Would you be happy if your
cousin made 50 million and then let you borrow some money once
in a while? Because guess what?
Then then that's a blessing in the family.
Or is it ego saying it wants it has to be you.
So you got to get really honest. And as soon as I was able to do
that, I was able to see clearly how involved God is in making

(12:09):
things happen for me and those around me.
That has nothing to do with money.
Now in the world, everybody thinks you need money to be able
to do those things. And yet and still I was
receiving and I'm still receiving and I'm getting to do
and I'm getting to have without buying it.
Recently, we decided with CEO that we want to level up the

(12:32):
game and we want to create some VIP experiences.
We had given the opportunity to other people who were already
event producers or already producing events in Southern
California that we thought that they were doing them pretty
well. We were giving them the
opportunity to collaborate with us where they could essentially
be the, the event arm granted noequity in their business, no

(12:53):
governance over their business, just simply, hey, we're going to
tell our online community about your event.
And then when you're at your event, just mention us in
collaboration. And then we support one another
in in giving this community of women, entrepreneurial women, a
dual experience that benefits all of us, right.

(13:16):
And it didn't work out because people get insecure.
People question the motives like, well, why would you do
that? Like, why would you help us?
Like, why would you do that for free?
Like, why would like, what's thecatch?
Like what? No, there's no catch.
Like we're genuinely out here for this community, Like we're
genuinely building a mission driven business and living in
our purpose and, you know, pouring into women to help them

(13:37):
get further, faster and all these things.
So it was a blessing because it caused us to look in Word and to
go, Is this something that we want to take on and that we want
to do internally? We had done it once internally
and it wasn't the easiest thing to do necessarily for everyone
on the team, but it was there, the value was there, it was
great. Do we want to continue to make

(13:58):
this part of our brand identity? And we were like, yeah, you
know, it would be good. Let's let's figure it out.
But we weren't super like on it.Like we didn't like go to work
on it. We weren't looking for venues or
anything like that. We just decided that we're open
to it. And next thing you know, I
connect with a former, I don't want to say former, but an old

(14:19):
friend in business on LinkedIn. And it was really great because
this person, I always say he's like the Gary Vee before Gary
Vee. It's so funny and he's aligned
with a lot of brands and a lot of businesses.
And back in the day, you know, when I was just, I was at a
magazine and doing the thing andlike he would just give it
advice and be like, you got to go on Twitter and you got to do
this. And he was just such a marketing

(14:40):
mastermind and the networker anda connector.
So anyways, saw a post from him on LinkedIn.
I commented on it. Another friend of mine commented
on it because it was a really good post.
And and then he reached out and was like, hey, like, hey you, we
should connect or whatever. However that transpired.
So Fast forward like 24 hours after that and we were on a Zoom
and where he proceeds to say, Hey, do you guys have any
events? And I said, well, we have had an

(15:03):
event. However, you know, we're a very,
very, very small team. We're a three legged stool and
we have a lot on our plate. But we see the value.
We want to do it. Told him the story.
We try to align with Southern California ladies that are
already producing events and be supportive, but they they're
they're sort of paranoid about it.
And so we know we're open to it.What do you have in mind?

(15:23):
And he said, I have a few beach houses.
Maybe you should use them for your events.
And I was like, oh, OK, well, let me know.
Like, where can I take a look? And he sends me the, the, you
know, actually connects me to the person, lovely woman named
Rose, who manages these homes inNewport Beach on the sand.
I mean, when I say oceanfront, it is right there.

(15:46):
And they send me links, you know, and there's these two twin
homes and they're side by side with rooftops and the whole
thing. Like, like beyond what I could
have imagined, asked for or evenconvinced myself that we could
pay for. And there they were.
And there they were. Here you go, Rachel.
And what was explained to me is there they have a mission,
right, to sort of break away from the Airbnb model and go
into corporate, I almost said corporate housing go into

(16:09):
corporate events and private events and things like that.
So they can get the money, but have like a little bit higher,
not a little bit, a lot higher sort of quality control over who
the types of people that are in the home and things like that.
So, so it was this perfect unionof like things that I couldn't
have imagined was going to transpired transpire.

(16:32):
I couldn't have even fathomed having necessarily the budget to
be able to pay for something like this because I know what
their rate is for the week and even by day it's a lot.
And and yeah, we had that event. So I'm recording this episode
after the event and I'm here to tell you, you have to just
decide what you want. And then you have to be open to

(16:52):
the fact that it can happen in ways that you cannot even
imagine. Do not concern yourself with how
it will happen. Just understand and believe and
have the faith that it will happen.
And then trust that you don't need the money.
Because as soon as you start saying I want this for my
business, but I know that we have to make the money or I want
this for my children, but I don't make enough money yet.

(17:15):
You are now making money, a God.You are now slaving away for
that God which is money, and youare wasting your life for that
money. And you are, yes, praying.
You can pray all you want, but if everything in your brain
defaults to as soon as I have the money, then you are

(17:37):
worshipping money. And that is something I just
didn't realize. And it's so counterintuitive
even in even in my everyday lifenow, I catch myself doing it.
And I just hope that this episode blesses you so that you
can get to the point where you do not think about money.
Imagine going throughout your day, your week, your month, and

(17:57):
not thinking about money. Get to the point where you're
not even thinking about it. Oh, yeah, this episode is loud
because I have all windows and doors open and it's a sunny
Southern California day. Break up with thinking about
money. Don't think about it.
Don't wake up and go, now I got to pay this, this, this.
Like, OK, do not think about money.

(18:22):
Don't. And anything that you want to
do, don't tell yourself you can't do it because you don't
have the money. Anything you want to do, just
go, Hey, God, I want to go to Club 33.
I'd really like to take my, my kids there.
Hey, God, I've always wanted to go to Hawaii.
You know, like that would be great if you can make it happen.
Not if, but if it's your will tomake it happen.

(18:43):
I'm, I'm open to it. I look forward to going to it.
And then you know what, open up that notebook and start planning
your vacation. Open up your phone and create a
little folder in your images andstart finding hotels and
different pictures and tours andeverything and just start saving
a bunch. Start planning for it, start
planning for it and that faith that you have in the planning

(19:06):
for it is what activates it. It's what it's a keys that just
go click and get you to the nextlevel.
And the best part is you don't even have to kill yourself over
it. You don't have to hustle like
crazy over it. You don't have to have anxiety,
worry, stress. I don't care what the notice in
the mail says, give it to God. It will be handled.

(19:27):
Have faith. Plan that vacation.
Start to go driving around looking at the neighborhoods
that you might want to live in. Start to get a pen to paper and
draw out the different things you want to see in your home.
Go on Pinterest, create the board of all the ways that your
master bedroom's going to look or your Hawaiian vacation.
Plan, plan, plan to succeed and watch as you do.

(19:52):
But the miracle in it all is it will be done in a way that no
one, and I mean no one can take credit for it but God, not even
you, because that's your ego trying to do that.
But it is awesome when it happens.
Let's go.
