One day I woke up and realized that I wasn't happy.

But the best part about writing your own story is that you can change it whenever you want.
You are the main character and the author.
This is my life story, the spiritual awakening and sexual evolution of a wild woman.

May these stories help you to see and understand your own story better, awakening you to the
magic and synchronicity within your own life.
I know they will make you laugh, cry, and cringe.
But they will also be a light in the darkness and a mirror to teach you more deeply about

Today's episode is an open letter to you, the listener.

Dear listener,
Perhaps we are besties who have known each other a long time.
You'll know these stories before they start.
Perhaps we are acquaintances and you'll know all the supporting characters.
Perhaps we have mutual friends of friends and you think you know me.

Perhaps you've been a fan of my writing since the Zanga days or someone you know told you
OMG have you heard of this chick Radically Rachael?
Her podcast is the bomb.com.
It reminded me of you.
Did we cross paths at Christian theater camp?

(02:34):
Maybe I was your roommate or your counselor.
Maybe we went to grade school together and you were my bully.
Or we taught at an elementary school together and worked to help heal the bullies.
Maybe you are an ex.
Ex boyfriend, hookup, girlfriend, friend, wife, whoever you are.

However you have come here today.
I believe that it is for a reason and for a divine purpose.
Nothing is ever just a coincidence or accident, but a synchronicity.
There is a story for you here.
While you're listening to my memoir, I can promise one thing.

The truth.
The whole truth and nothing but the ugly truth.
So help me spirit.
But I need you to promise one thing.
That you won't stop listening when it gets a little ugly.
Because this fat lady is just going to keep on singing anyhow.
But I hope that you will come back to hear the growth.

The magic.
And the plot.
Oh the drama.
I like all humans and all characters and dynamic.
I have good parts and yucky parts.
Light dark yin yang.
I am both the hero and a villain.

I have played most of the roles that there are to play.
Christian.
Spiritually savage.
Bullied.
Abused.
Abuser.
Victim.
Survivor.
I've labeled myself as straight, bi, lesbian, all the way down the yellow brick road to

(04:27):
queer.
I have been single.
Desperately single.
Married.
Totally married.
Divorced.
Definitely divorced.
I've hated and loathed the skin I was in.
Restricted and binged.
I've been the sinner and the saint.

(04:50):
There will be stories where you will love me.
You will want to be my best friend.
There will also be moments where you will hate me and wonder how I have friends.
There will be moments where we will laugh and we will cry.
Sometimes we will do both at the same time.

(05:10):
Other moments you will cringe and you will scream out loud and you'll ask yourself,
why?
Why did she do that?
Why did she say that?
Why is she telling this shameful story?
But you will understand and you will know why.
Because it is for you.

(05:33):
It is you too.
You will see yourself in my story.
You will recall yourself and the parts you've played in your own world stage.
The human experience is vast and expansive but deeply woven and interconnected.

(05:55):
It hasn't always been apparent to me that the universe was unveiling something gorgeous
before me.
So looking back and seeing the threads, I can see now that Spirit and I co-authored
the story.
I am the main character and the author, the movie star and the director, player one and

(06:20):
the video game developer.
Each day I get new downloads.
I find cheat codes and gain items for my inventory, leveling up along the way.
I take down big bad bosses and gain XP.
I make choices that add or subtract from the karmic bank.

(06:41):
I meet characters who send me on quests.
I make partnerships to get farther in the game.
In the last few years, I stopped living by the Matrix playbook and started writing my
own.
I wanted to deprogram the religion, the patriarchy and the capitalism from my veins and accept

(07:03):
my call to be a wild woman.
I started living a radically different life.
I now see the magic and synchronicity that I wrote into my story.
I wrote the path that I walked, knowing that my stories would bring healing to others.
I know that I am here to raise consciousness on a cellular and vibrational level.

(07:29):
I am stepping up and sending my voice and my stories out into the stars and heavens.
Through my storytelling, you will see the magic and mystery in my life, in the beauty
of the little details and synchronistic breadcrumbs that reappear.
I want to help you awaken to the magic in your own story and remember who you came here

to be.
In the words of Dr. Brené Brown, when we deny our stories, they define us.
When we own our stories, we get to write a brave new ending.

like me, we write in gel pen, technicolor and full of sparkle.
