In the early 1920s, several indigenous human remains of “unusual size” were reportedly excavated from an isolated cave in Nevada’s arid high desert. To outside observers, the discovery seemed both unbelievable and shrouded in mystery... But to the Northern Paiute, these remains were not strange at all... they were the remnants of a dark truth, deeply embedded in their history and lore.
