The Mindset Reset You Didn't Know You Needed

If you’ve ever stared at your laptop while working and thought, “Maybe I should just burn it all down and start over,” this episode is your invitation to pause and breathe. This is Part 1 of a special two-part series, and we’re diving into the mindset and energetics behind that misaligned, stuck feeling that creeps in when your offers, your content, or your launches stop landing the way they used to.

In this episode, I’m walking you through the exact journaling prompts and mindset shifts I use (and give my clients) to help you figure out what’s still aligned — and what’s simply outdated. You don’t need to start from scratch. You just need a reset that matches who you are now. Let’s clean house (strategically, not emotionally) so you can show up like the powerhouse CEO Mom you’ve become.

✨ Don’t miss Part 2 next week — where we’ll go deep on the strategy. But first, do this work.

You don’t need to burn your business down. You just need to rebuild from where you are now, not from who you were when you started. If this episode resonated with you, tag me on Instagram @theyaelbendahan with your biggest “aha” moment — and if you loved it, share with a mompreneur friend and don’t forget to rate and review!

You’re in your momentum era — let’s go. 💫

(01:22):
You've sat.
Nursing your baby or feedingyour kids dinner and wondered if
maybe you need to just burneverything down and start fresh.
You've questioned if maybeyou've somehow lost your magic,
right?
Because the content that used toconvert the launches that used
to sell out, the energy thatused to show up with is just not

(01:42):
there anymore.
It's not the same.
And now you're wondering if youare the problem.
And before you burn it all down, you're gonna wanna listen to
this.
Welcome back to the podcast.

built because you have builtsomething incredible.
And I just wanna reach out toyou, CEO, mom, and I wanna just,

(02:04):
I wish I could be holding yourhand right now.
I'm telling you, you havealready built something.
You have already built abusiness.
You are in a place where youmight actually know a little bit
too much, and we're gonna talk alittle bit more about this and
how to address this kind ofmessy middle of business.
And this is exactly what we'redoing inside of your momentum
era.

(02:24):
It's a three week.
Audio reset for experienced momentrepreneurs who feel like
their business is just no longera fit for the woman that they've
become.
It is short, it's strategic,it's energetics, and it's built
for clarity, not pressure, notloads of content that's gonna
overwhelm you, just small.
Impactful tweaks and shifts thatyou can make on a regular basis

(02:46):
to get that reset energy inplace to get back to the basics
of who you are and the magic ofthe person that you were when
you were building that businessand that new excited
entrepreneur energy when you'reputting things out there and
seeing what worked and not evenbeating yourself up when things
didn't work because you had somany ideas.
I wanna get you back to thatenergy and that mindset, and.

(03:08):
I wanna bring you back there andhelp you rebuild and reset in a
more strategic more aligned waywith the person that you are.
Now, we start on May 5th andeither is a special presale
price, which is going to begoing away in two days if you're
listening to this on Tuesdaywhen it comes out.
So DME reset on Instagram or tapthe link in the show notes to

(03:28):
join.
You are now in your momentumera.
I'm calling it now, here's thething.
You do not need to pivot, okay?
You do not need to scrap yourniche.
You definitely do not need tobuild something from scratch at
2:00 AM while everyone's asleep.
Been there, done that.
Hi, I am Yael.
I do this.
This is where I spiral.
Whenever I get into my spiralymode, I'm like, oh my God, maybe
need something completelydifferent.
And I sit there, start mappingout a whole new offer.

(03:50):
That is not what you need.
And many of these offers do notactually see the day, the light
of day, because then 10:00 AM Llooks back and goes, yeah.
Was that really necessary orwere you just doing that from a
place of kind of spiraling andanxiety?
Because I do suffer fromanxiety.
This has happened.
I've mentioned this before and Ifeel and very often we can make

(04:12):
decisions or try to scale ourbusinesses for, from a place of
fear or from a version of usthat doesn't exist anymore.
Okay?
And that's what I wanna tellyou.
You are not broken.
You are just trying to scaleyour business.
That was built for a version ofyou that is in the past, right?
That version of you who wouldbe, had less capacity or more
capacity, right?
Maybe that person had lessclarity.

(04:32):
They didn't have the samesystems.
They were more in that hustlemode.
And now you.
You know too much, right?
You've seen too much.
You feel almost jaded a littlebit because like you look at
everything that's out there andall the things that are out
there, and all the people thatare selling the same thing that
you do in all the AI and all thecontent that just going out
online and you're like.

(04:53):
How can I possibly stand out inthis world?
Maybe I just, maybe it's justnot right for me right now.
Maybe I just need to shut it alldown and start something new.
Go in a different direction, open up a bakery.
I don't know.
Start an Etsy store, okay?
You do not need to start an Etsystore, alright?
Unless you have an Etsy store,in which case you should keep
going.
You wanna do it better, okay?
But your business might stilllook like your 20 20, 20 22

(05:15):
survival mode self and.
Here's how you know this, theseason that you're in.
If you are rewriting salespages, instead of checking in
with your messaging, this mightbe a symptom.
If you're wondering, do I need anew offer?
Maybe I should create a newoffer, maybe a new offer is
gonna solve everything.
This might be for you if youfeel like you're maybe showing
up exactly the same way it usedto.
You're doing all the sameemails, all the same content,

(05:36):
but it's just not landing theway it used to.
This might be for you.
Okay?
And if you feel like maybe youused to feel so clear, you like
you knew exactly what you wantedto say and you knew exactly what
you wanted people to buy and howyou wanted them to buy it and
now you feel like you're justlike opening up Instagram and
spiraling and going down thiscontent rabbit hole.
Everyone's stuff is so muchbetter than mine.
It's probably not.

(05:57):
You just need to come back intouch with your own magic, okay?
And you are just overdue forsome clarity here, and I promise
you, you are not alone.
So clarity to me does not comefrom adding more.
Alright?
It comes from cleaning up what'soutdated and really getting back
in touch with.
With really who you are and likethe.

(06:18):
Original you the values that youhold, the goals that you have
for yourself.
And so I'm gonna give you abunch of prompts to ask
yourself, and I'm gonna be goingmuch deeper into these and
adding a bunch more inside ofyour momentum era.
So you really wanna be in therewhen we do this.
But these are the same exactkind of things that I ask myself
anytime I feel like I amspiraling or I'm going down this
rabbit hole of feelinginadequate and imposter syndrome

(06:40):
me.
And maybe nothing's, nothing'sworking the same way it used to.
So when I'm feeling like allspiraly and oh my goodness.
And I did the same launch andthen the same launch that made X
amount of money last year, nowmade y amount of money this year
and it just, it's not workingthe same way anymore.
These are the kind of questionsthat I'll ask myself.
The first one is, what am Idoing just because I've always
done it right?
Maybe you launched in Januarybecause that's what you always

(07:00):
do.
Maybe you're still, and Januaryis just an example.
You can totally launch inJanuary.
Okay?
But maybe you're just doingsomething because again, it's
always worked for you.
So like you're like, okay, thisis for sure gonna work.
Now maybe you're still sellingyour signature offer, even
though you low key dreaddelivering it, right?
This is your chance to pause andask yourself, is this truly
working or is it just familiar?
Okay.

(07:21):
Another question you can askyourself is what's starting to
feel heavy?
That used to feel light, right?
We all have things that used toenergize us, but they now feel
like obligation.
Not because you're lazy, butbecause you have evolved and the
offer, the content, the strategyjust hasn't caught up with who
you are now, and your bodyusually knows this before your
brain does.

(07:41):
Another question to ask yourselfis, if I were starting today, if
I was starting all over today, what would I keep and what would
I burn down?
Okay, not from burnout, but fromclarity, right?
If I drop the pressure tomaintain everything, what would
I intentionally rebuild andkeep?
And this one could be a littlebit uncomfortable, but also
wildly liberating because youmight feel, be like, oh my gosh,
I actually do not want mysignature offer anymore.

(08:03):
Okay?
This happened to me, by the way, with my CEO Mom Academy program.
I just realized that.
The content of that.
I did not want that to be mysignature offer anymore.
I really wanted to lean into mymastermind and talking more
about leveraging, leveragingyour business and creating more
leverage and really just likethe higher level, like funnel
conversations.

(08:23):
And while I love the product Iservice piece, which I teach in
CEO Mom Academy, but and I thinkit's still totally valid.
And I think everyone shouldstart with a productized service
to build the foundation fortheir leverage business.
A hundred percent.
but I just did nott want that tobe my signature main offer that
I was always pushing people to.

(08:44):
And so I've decided to move thatinto more of a of a self-study
course slash maybe I'll make itinto a group program in the
future.
I don't know.
But like a limited time groupprogram, like three months or
something like that, because Ifeel like it just wasn't, it
just didn't suit like thedirection that I wanted to go
in.
Okay.
So that was very scary though, because I've been selling COM
Academy in like differentiterations with different names,

(09:05):
but the same concept, the samecontent, the same structure.
I sold that since 2020.
Okay.
And I ended up closing it downas the group program that it was
at the end of 2023.
So I was three years of sellingthe same thing and then
realizing that I just didn'twant that to be my main offer
anymore.
Okay.
Now I.

(09:25):
Another question I want you toask yourself is, what offer
still lights me up and what do Isecretly hope nobody buys?
Be honest.
That program that you keeppromoting out of habit, would
you be relieved if nobodyenrolled?
I have.
I had a client who was selling aVIP day for Black Fridays, one
of her offers, and then nobodybought it.
And then she was like, actually,I realize I'm actually so
relieved that nobody bought it.
I do not wanna deliver this VIPday in the structure that I was

(09:46):
selling it in.
But she'd always done it thatway.
So she was selling it that way.
And I want you to also flip it,right?
What is the offer that you maybelove delivering or keep dreaming
of delivering, but you keepburying it beneath like this.
Maybe later, oh, is this themost profitable?
I don't know if I should dothis.
I don't know if this be my mainthing, maybe it doesn't fit into
the cookie cutter strategy thatI learned from this last coach
that I worked with.

(10:06):
Or maybe I'm afraid to go all inon this thing.
Whatever this thing is.
Okay.
What would I say if I wasn'tafraid of being judged?
Now this is for me such a hardthing because I am such a people
pleaser and I am also anEnneagram three, which means
that like lowkey, I just wanteveryone to like me and think
that I'm perfect.
Everyone, including my husband,he does not.

(10:29):
But even by past clients or bypeers, even yourself, right?
What is that message that hasbeen knocking at your brain, but
you keep muting it becausethat's not what I'm known for.
All right.
Or maybe that's, I'm afraid tosay this'cause I'm afraid people
are gonna disagree with me orcancel me or put me in a Reddit
thread or something.
Your next level usually livesunder the thing that you're
scared to say out loud.

(10:49):
Alright.
Another question, a really goodquestion to ask yourself is,
where am I confusing visibilitywith connection?
Because posting more does notalways equal selling more.
You might be visible and stillinvisible, right?
So it's not about showing uplouder, it's about showing up
clearer and with connection thatactually lands okay.
And.
If you find that you're likegetting in front of a lot of

(11:10):
people, but you're like, I feellike I'm losing touch with the
actual people.
You might just need to connectmore.
How can you create connection?
Can you DM people who are cominginto your world?
I literally have a zap that setsme up.
Like whenever people come intomy low ticket offers or my
freebies it zaps them and theirinformation into an Airtable.
And when I have time, I reachout to people and I'll say, Hey
so I just downloaded this.
How'd you like it?
How are you feeling about it?

(11:31):
And it just helps me keep intouch with people and like where
they're coming from and what'sgoing on.
And it helps me just staymentally in touch with, their
points of view where theycurrently are right now in a way
that doesn't show up when you'rejust doing a live and then
hopping right off what am Iovercomplicating to feel in
control, right?
Because sometimes complexity cangive you the illusion of
momentum.

(11:51):
So maybe tweaking your funnel oradding another upsell or
changing your colors or startingover again, right?
And it's funny'cause I actuallyasked Chad GBT this what are my
biggest red flags?
Which is definitely ask it thisquestion because it's, if you've
been working in chatt PT for awhile long enough, it knows
stuff about you.
Okay?
It knows stuff about you.
And so you can ask it based onwhat you know of me, what are my
biggest red flags, okay?

(12:12):
And I.
Where was it?
It said you default toovercomplicating when you feel
uncertain.
That is that's my go-to place.
So you are not alone here.
Okay.
I had to really work on.
On like actually intentionallyshutting myself down and being
like, wait, stop.

(12:32):
Why are you trying to complicatethis?
Where could it be simpler?
What if this was just simple?
So very often the things thatmoves you forward is simpler
than you think, and it justmight feel a little bit scarier.
Okay.
And what belief or rule am Istill following that doesn't
even apply anymore?
So this is the sneakiest one.
I have to do live launches tomake high ticket sales, right?
Or I need x amount of followersbefore I raise my prices.

(12:53):
Or I need to do sales callsbecause I learned how to do
sales calls.
And that's the thing, right?
That's the thing I should do,right?
Or I need to do DM sales.
I have clients who are like, Iactually love sales calls.
Like I really, I wanna get onsales calls with people before I
work with them, because I justwanna get a feeling for who they
are.
And I wanna make sure that I'm,I wanna get a feeling for what
they actually need, and I feellike I do that best on a Zoom
call.
I'm like, by all means, do thesales calls.

(13:14):
If you wanna do the sales calls.
I personally feel that DM salesare the best way of selling as a
mom because it gives you themost flexibility.
But who am I to tell you what todo if you feel like this works
better for you?
So some rules might have beeninherited from other coaches or
other courses that you were partof.
Some others were might have beenself-imposed, but all of them
are optional.
You do not have to have anyspecific rules.

(13:35):
The only rule of business is youneed to continue growing your
audience, nurturing youraudience, and selling to your
audience.
Those are the three rules ofbusiness.
That is how you're gonnacontinue growing.
That's pretty much it, right?
Everything else is optional.
So if you haven't taken notes, these are not surface level
journaling prompts, okay?
They are.
These are decision makingfilters, and I'm gonna go much
deeper into all of these andmore inside of your momentum

(13:56):
era.
So you're gonna wanna jump inand join us, because when you're
in the weeds, your brain isgoing to default to familiar
strategies, even if they're notaligned anymore, and that is
where the reset begins.
Now, I wanna say this clearly,it is not always about your
funnel.
It's not always about your offersuite or your price point,
although I.
Obviously, I think, thinkingabout, if you're doing the same
stuff since 2020 or 2022 itdefinitely is worth taking a

(14:18):
look at what you've been doingand does this actually fit the
market, the market right now, oryour ideal client right now.
And maybe it isn't aligned withthem, but sometimes it's about
how you showing up to thosethings.
So I ask myself when I'm tryingto sell something and it feels
like maybe things are just notworking, am I selling this like
I believe in this or am I justhoping that it'll work?
Am I launching like a leader oram I hiding behind?

(14:39):
Oh, I just don't wanna beannoying.
I don't wanna post too much, Idon't wanna email too much.
I was talking to my friendyesterday and I was saying, oh,
I was actually about sendingthis extra email about this, but
I already have a whole bunch ofemails scheduled coming up and I
was like, wait, there's no rulethat says I can't email my
people every day.
It's my email list.
I can do whatever I want.
She goes, yeah, you could dowhatever you want.
I'm like, yeah, I forgot that.
You forget that for a second.
Are you launching?
Are you showing up?
Are you selling like a leader, right?

(15:00):
Like the person that peopleshould listen to.
And the last important thing is,am I making decisions from fear
or from power, right?
And making decisions from fearis going to just translate into
results that come from fear, andthose are not going to be great.
Alright.
And I'm not saying that I knowthat I also tend to default to
one of, again, another one of myred flags, which I learned was

(15:20):
waiting until like rock bottom, like I, I romanticize.
Like rock bottom a little bit, right?
And Chad, GBT said, not in atoxic way, but you do tend to
access, clarity, power, creativegenius only after things go
sideways.
And there's a part of you thatdoesn't fully trust breakthrough
without breakdown.
So let's rewrite that.
And I'm like, oh my gosh, yes.
I, that is something I need to,I really need to like just dig

(15:40):
into a little more.
If you feel like you only knowhow to make decisions from fear,
you only know how to take actionfrom this place of desperation
or pressure.
I've had another one of myfriends and one of my
masterminds.
I feel like I can only takeaction from pressure, right?
I get inspired all of a suddenlike under pressure and I I'm
like that too.
I will leave things at the lastminute and they'll be like, oh
my God.
And then I'll launch a podcastand edit it in five minutes and

(16:01):
then put it up and that's thepodcast.
Yes, I like to work with thatenergy a little bit because I am
a DH ADHD and that's how mybrain works.
But also, like it's just notcongruent with the way my life
goes right now.
I don't, I, I don't have theluxury of just waiting till the
last minute for everything,right?
So all of this is about reallyenergetic congruence, and when
your strategy and your energymatch, you are going to be

(16:21):
absolutely magnetic.
Okay?
So I want you to think about allthese questions and ask yourself
these questions.
Do a little journaling, takesome time.
Re-listen to this episode againand just.
Sit and think about this a bitbefore you burn it all down.
Okay.
Or before you feel like you haveto burn down an offer or entire
marketing platform or oh shoot,I shouldn't do this anymore.
Or maybe I should be doing moreof that.
Pause.

(16:43):
Pause.
You might not need to buildsomething new.
You might just need to rebuildfrom who you are now.
Not who you were when you firststarted.
And you might need to go back towho you were when you first
started and get back to basicsand be like why were those
things working?
What kind of energy was Ishowing up with?
And I remember when I wasselling something a little while
ago and I felt like I justwasn't showing up.

(17:04):
And I was like, who is that ELin 2020?
Who just showed up with so muchconfidence that if she just
showed up and sold and talkedabout her thing over and over
again, people would just buy itAnd they did.
Let's tap into that energy,right?
So I'm not saying you need toburn down who you are because
that person got you to where youare now, and that is freaking
incredible.
You are still that person.
You're the one who made it workbefore.

(17:25):
You're still the one who scaledwhile raising tiny humans or
before you raise tiny humans,right?
You just need to make space forthis new version of you to lead
while staying in touch with thekind of energy that brought you
the success before, but withoutthat.
Energy of beginner and I don'tknow anything.
And hustle and early impostersyndrome, right?

(17:45):
So let's take the pieces of whoyou were that worked and bring
that into the new you.
Okay?
And that starts with cleaningyour house, right?
Strategically, not emotionally,a little bit emotionally, but
really just cleaning house inyour business.
And that's what this is allabout.
That's why I created yourmomentum era.
As I was cleaning my house forPassover, I was like, I feel
like I need to do this to mybusiness.

(18:06):
And my clients were like, oh mygosh, yes.
And I was like, I should createthis for my clients.
Then I was like, you know what?
Maybe I should create this foreverybody.
I'm creating your momentum erafor my clients.
Okay.
The clients who were like, Ijust feel like.
Things feel stale and they feellike a little old.
And I really need to just blowout the cobwebs and get back in
touch with the me who was sowho, who just showed up, with
abandon and with joy and withlike excitement because oh my

(18:27):
gosh, like you can make moneyonline.
This is so amazing.
Bring that energy into theexpert that you are now and let
go of all the cynicism and theand the jaded look.
At the industry and go back intothat energy of wonder and
excitement and look what I didand look what's I'm capable of
and look what I can do.

(18:48):
And this and more is what we aredoing in your momentum era.
So those journaling promises Igave you, that is just a tip of
the iceberg of what we're gonnabe doing in there because we are
gonna go deep, okay.
To really reconnect with yourtrue self and also build on that
to build your.
U2 0.0.

(19:08):
Okay.
The one who's going to go andforge your head with confidence
the rest of this year.
Who's gonna sell in an alignedway?
Who's gonna market in an alignedway, who's gonna create offers
that align with both herself andher clients?
That's what your momentum erais.
You are in your momentum era, you're, you can create your own
momentum, but sometimes you needto clean up a little bit before

(19:31):
you can get the ball rolling.
And that's what it's all about.
So we start May 5th, you'regonna get three weeks of
strategic audio coaching from mewith proms like this and more.
This is just a little sample, okay?
This is gonna be a Telegramcommunity.
They're gonna be weekly q and athreads.
We're gonna have a bonusmastermind guest session to plan
your summer sales plan.
Okay?

(19:51):
So you're gonna be able to joina CEO Mom mastermind call with
me and my mastermind clients toplan your spacious summer sales.
I.
Alright.
It's just$77 till April 24th.
Okay.
And then it's gonna go up to 97,either way,$97 for three weeks
of coaching with me.
