Extra Timeline Details
For all those who are new to the show, perhaps you found us at the beginning of the continuation of the SleepDoctor event, and went back to part 1 to catch up, maybe you're an avid Listner that just wants to know a bit more, or get a few confirmations on the chronology of the VC timeline. Whatever the case, its no secret that this show's narrative is not necessarily always presented in chronological order. It's a timey-wimey show, so that's only fair!
This certain kind of narrative presentation holds true for the SleepDoctor event especially, given that the events of SleepDoctor (SD) part 1 begins the story (obviously) but elements of part 1, ie, the ending of the story were presented in episode 2 of the series.
We didn't come back to this story for a while because we wanted to get it right, but we thought it would be cool to set the events in the remaining parts of SD, parts 2 to 5, which were recently released back to back, IN BETWEEN the third and fourth episode of the series: Outlaw Country pt. 1 and Grandma Grin part 1. In a nutshell, the events of SleepDoctor take place in between episodes 3 and 4 of the series. So, if you found us at the latter half of this event then you'll be lopped back around to episode 4. Might give you a unique perspective on the narrative!
Furthermore, the stories that follow Grandma Grin pt 2, Mystery Guessed and Future's Fate in Time take place after the SleepDoctor event, narratively speaking, of course. In future, and to be honest, in the past I'll be sure to add in more details about the world of the show in general, now that it seems to have grown big enough (or convoluted enough?) ;) to justify people requesting more detailed splurges such as this one!
