I'm taking care of two things at once with this one. The girlies asked me to do a makeup tutorial, which I did, but still need to edit.
Marcie just so happened to ask if I could do her beat for her photoshoot for her wedding venue business the other day, and since we have an episode coming up where we chop up how she became a venue owner, I figured this is perfect!
This is the first time I'm givin her a beat, thanks for trusting me.
Karlene Lindsay is also in the building, see we collaborate over here. I'm inspired by Adam Sandler and Tyler Perry, what they have in common, they have the same folks in their projects no matter how big they get. That's what I'm doin over here, one event, one project, one dream at a time.
I'm doing a natural look for her shoot, while chatting up some things we go through as entrepreneurs: pricing, leveling up, retargeting previous customers, and what we really mean by partying it up on a Friday night. Unless of course its an event!

Plus, we touch on the need to stop downplaying ourselves. I do it all the time. I read once that maybe we do that because we are always raising the bar, setting a new goal, so it's natural to not realize how far we have come. BUT! We must learn to celebrate our wins, and regardless of the size of the win, they are all important.
Also, just know as entrepreneurs, we often play every part in our business until the team comes along.
