It’s Monday Night and you know what that means, another episode from your favorite podcast.
We are without Tony tonight, so our good friend and fellow podcaster Kevin Rouge from the Year of Pod sits in on 3rd Mic.
The boys catch up with what they have been up to this weekend, and Matt gets super annoyed as he has to figure out how to play a video from Tony, with the committee’s announcement on the next Can You Beat That Challenger.
After Matt loses his mind, they transition into the return on Dexter Lumas, the direction the WWE is going, College athletes vs Indie talent, and Vince McMahon in NXT.
We are then joined by The GutterSnake Izzy James ahead of his Texas Bullrope match against Kaun for Pale Pro Wrestling. We talk about the wrestling landscape in Dallas, Jeff Jarrett, his move set, The Misfits, Kiss, & much more. It’s a great conversation and an excellent introduction to Izzy James if you are not familiar with him.
After a quick break the boys talk some AEW Quake at the Lake, and this conversation leads us down a crazy aisle, as we talk Giant Gonzalez, The Yetti, Torito and more. It’s really the best example of us just talking about random wrestling stuff. Kevin hit’s us with a few things from Impact’s Emergence Show before we get to Kevin’s Top 5.
