KawaiiSteez San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles) based musician who makes Alternative HipHop with infused with the lush of Art Pop, taste of vaporwave and a hint of funk. MF DOOM inspired rhyme schemes with a tounge and cheek flow, sonically similar to Captain Murphy with the energy of JPEGMAFIA, quirkiness of Danny Brown and the artistic vision of Toro y Moi and Tyler The Creator, KawaiiSteez packs a sound that grabs influences from a wide range of genres. KawaiiSteez is originally from Long Island New York, but moved to the Los Angeles Area in 2011 and has spent that time working on their artistic craft as a rapper and a producer. Having spent about half their life on both cost, they pack the traditional sound of New York HipHop with the experimental nature of Los Angeles. KawaiiSteez champions the direction of being who you are and diving into the things that you love. Growing up an outcast as a black individual in America formed a lot of their experiences that they bring forth to their music. KawaiiSteez of the SAF collective will ensure to bring you a fusion of sounds that will bring thought provoking lyrics as well as a fun groove for you to dance too.
