Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Jonathan and Kelly Show.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Jonathan Rush downgrade the US a notch to AA one
that could raise the government's cost of borrowing.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Kelly Nash, the enthusiasm in Saudi Arabia and Qatar in
the United Arab Emirates that they want to push more
and more. They have funds here. And if we go
back to your initial question on the Moodies downgrade, who
cares The Jonathan and Kelly Show woc It was a

(00:31):
news rocking weekend. We got the downgrade from Moodies. Then
you got the Secret Service or whichever agency, the FBI
picking up James Comey.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I think that's Secret Service, right, Yeah, they pick him up,
Director arrested, well not arrested, taking in for questioning because
he's a moron.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Then we talked to his wife and I'm hoping no,
I never mind. And then we got the big news
that Donald Trump just got back into town. We saw
him fly back in, but he may be flying right
back out because he was hoping that he could bring
Putin to the table. And then all the scoffing when
that didn't happen. Although there's a phone call schedule for today,
so hooray. And then we also got the news on

(01:09):
the big the big balbous bill as I'm calling.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
You, Oh, is that what you call it? The bulbous bill?

Speaker 1 (01:14):
The balbous bill is moving out of conference, going to
go over to the Senators. They use reconciliation to get
this pass through, and we're going to be able to
talk to all of those issues coming up in just
a few minutes with our Congressman Joe Wilson. Okay, so
it's just been It was like boom boom boom boom
boom boom boom, big news, big news, big news kept coming.
All right. Oh, I'll tell you now, the one thing

(01:36):
I'm not going to do is when Joe Wilson walks in,
I'm not going to ask him specifically about James Clyverer
because I know that he won't he won't comment. He'll
look at me like, why are you putting the spotlight
on me and making me comment on another congress.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Well, we would be putting the spotlight on James, right,
that's what the spotlight should have been.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I'm actually consistent. I won't tell about the lady in
the Frost District teethers.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Oh, Okay, so we're not talking about any of our
fellow South Caroline lam I want you.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
To know so and so, but I will tell you
him much. I appreciate Russell Fryan, William Timmins, and Ralph
Norman and Sherry Biggs.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Well with Ralph Norman for a second, because he was
the holdout with the four others.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Well, we had him on last Monday and he didn't
even tell us he was going to blodecall us.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
He was the holdout with three others because we know
one of the members voted just to simply be at
a tablet and move forward and bring it back, which
it was brought back. So now Ralph Norman's big issue
were a couple of big issues, but on the big
issue that you and I spoken about before was and
I'm surprised this had not been hashed out prior the

(02:44):
salt issue, the state and local taxation issue. You knew
you had to negotiate a cap on this. Well, who
was the hold up?

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Well, the mide of mine is I really appreciate Ralph Norman,
but I disagreed with him, and that is that the
agreements that have been reached for the best we can
get to me and politics as the are of the possible.
I would like things to be just fantastic. Actually, the
overall bill, the Great Beautiful Bill, is overall fantastic, But

(03:12):
in between I was concerned about the salt issue, which
was really a way for the rest of the country
to pay local taxes in the Northeast billionaires. And then
the next thing is that I disagreed with the Inflation
Reduction Act of provisions for the Green scam because actually

(03:33):
the Inflation Reduction Act had nothing to do with inflation.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
It was a total.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Fraud of the American people to provide for a green
new scam to pay off Democrat contributors around the world.
And also the ultimate goal of the Green new scam
was to make America dependent on Chinese batteries. That was
the goal, and to sabotage the energy capability of the
United States. And the great thing is that in one

(03:59):
hundred days, Donald Trump has done the miracle. He's reversed
everything I just told you.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Well, on Sunday night they got the Big Beautiful Bill
out of committee. It's going to now be going forward.
The most important thing I think a lot of Americans
look at is we need to extend those tax cuts.
Otherwise it's like a sixty percent tax hike on a
lot of Americans. But there's so many other things involved
that that's why it's such a big, beautiful bill. Can

(04:26):
you tell us just your discussions with people in Congress?
Is this going to get through the House?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
I believe it will be, and that good people like
Ralph Norman will look at everything and understand and appreciate that, Yes,
there are serious issues. And I spoke with the White
House yesterday expressing concern about the Green News Camp because
Donald Trump himself wanting to eliminate it, not just phase
it out.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Well, it's interesting because you hear the talking heads on
MSNBC and seeing an NABC, CBS, you watched the six
thirty news what they call the news for twenty two minutes.
Good lucke for you. You trying to figure out what's
going on in the world. But one of the things
I always point to is the much divided Republican Party,
when in fact, if you take people like Chip Roy
and Ralph Norman and sometimes Joe Wilson, you've got a

(05:15):
differentation of people that are willing to stand up and
fight where they believe in. So they know at the
end of the day, and as usual, the end of
the day means when's the timeline? When does it have
to be done by? And then you get the best
deal you can get. I'm all about guys getting in
there and fighting it out, because that's how you get
the best bill possible.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
And amazing, you're correct again, Jonathan, and so I just
appreciate indeed, but they have divisions in the party, but
they're not catastrophic. And hey, the other political party, good gush,
they've got very unspoken admitted socialists leading their party.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Well that's what I was going to contrast it to
the Democrats. You don't hear about these kind of debates,
particularly from the talking heads as formal as mentioned before,
because they all fall in line behind who is the
pecking order set up at the time.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
But they didn't always and that's when they kick him
out right, Well, like what's his name for West Virginia?
What's her face? From Arizona? They went against the Democrat
Party and Joe Biden and the Democrats said you're out,
You're no longer a Democrat cinema.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yeah, so until a you you lose your pecker or
b the pecking order then falls apart because they they
in fact, do divide themselves and kick people out of
the party.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
And the good news is that thanks to talk radio,
the American I believe sincerely, and I just am not
saying it because I'm in the studio and you won't
let me out anyway. At the bottom line, talk radio
is an alternative voice. And I give credit to the
father of talk radio, Rush Limball. He brought to the
attention so much. And then the were and I studied journalism.

(06:55):
I was reported for the Post and Curry in Charleston.
I was out to my high school, law school, college newspapers.
I have never seen the American media so defamed in
my life, and that by covering up the inability of
Joe Biden to be President of the United States, they
covered it up. It's one thing for Democrats to cover

(07:16):
it up, Okay, they're protecting their party, But for the
American media, who should be watchdogs for freedom and liberty
in our country, they covered it up with equal enthusiasm.
And then actually I worked with doctor Ronnie Jackson, who
was the former White House physician serving in Congress, and
every cycle we would introduce legislation, I was one of

(07:37):
his first co sponsors to require for people in public
office to have minim acuity tests, and we did this
in a positive way. And I don't hate Joe Biden.
I feel sorry for Joe Biden, but they covered it up,
and now they are to make things even more bizarre.
They are revealing in my sympathy with him and my

(07:58):
best wishes for recovery, they've now revealing something that apparently
was known five years ago this weekend to provide sympathy
about his cancer. And I do have sympathy for him.
I don't hate him, I don't dislike him. But we're
in a world of Trump derangement, and that is that
we have media that just will make up any story.

(08:18):
They made up Russia Gate, then they fabricated now that
Joe Biden was capable of serving as president, so that
you just can't make this up. And then we have
a further corruption in our government with Jim Comy coming
forward calling he's former head of the FBI. He knew

(08:39):
he was calling for the assassination of Donald Trump. He
knew there'd been two assassination attempts and probably many more
we don't know about. And so what a world we're
in of Trump derangement and hatred. But the good news is,
and I give a lot of credit to get to
talk radio, the American people know better. Gosh, as I
go through the community. Last week, I was at the

(09:00):
Ult Festival parade, and I love going to parades because
people yell at me. In the good news Jonathan M kelly.
Most of the yelling is pretty good, not all, but
people are very supportive of Donald Trump and they understand. Golly,
last week, could you make this up? That he would
go country to country picking up a trillion dollars here

(09:20):
and a trillion dollars there to bring back to create
jobs in the United States. This has never occurred in
American history something like that. And then I particularly appreciate
I've been working with Free Syria for years, and I'm
really grateful that he is going to lift the sanctions
on the country of Syria and we have a real
potential of turning a dictatorship which was in collaboration with

(09:43):
war criminal Putin and Iran to destroy Israel. Now we
can have a country that could be working for stability
in the Middle East, all because of Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Well, boy, you crank up, Joe Wilson. He'll go through
every item right there. That's amazing. But let me bring
you back to what you started with. They knew not
only when they were trying to push him to be
the president in twenty twenty four, they knew in twenty
nineteen that he had cancer. They're talking about they've known
this for ten years that Joe Biden had cancer. So

(10:16):
if ten years ago they knew he had cancer and
they covered it up. Obviously, the mental acuity thing has
been an issue at least since the twenty nineteen twenty
they were replaying clips of Laura Trump and how she
got mocked for saying that he couldn't finish sentences and
all that sort of stuff. So they've covered it up.
They've made him the candidate specifically, in my opinion, because

(10:36):
he was a puppet. He would do whatever the Democrat
machine wanted him to do, unlike Bernie Sanders, who liberal, socialist,
all of those things, but not controllable. He was controllable.
Now that we know this about him and what they knew,
will there be investigations from Congress? Can you get that started?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
And indeed, Kelly, you write it on every point that
you made and hey, We know Arnie Sanders was the
full kook, but sadly, Joe Biden was simply and again
I feel sorry for him. He was being he was
a puppet. But in the meantime, I'm grateful that Chairman
Jim Comey will be looking in to every issue that

(11:15):
you mentioned, and I'm just so confident that we've got
good leadership and with Speaker Mike Johnson and over and
over again, we've got people in the House a Jim Jordan,
Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, people who are again very thoughtful.
They don't hate and we don't hate Joe Biden, but
we do know that our country was at risk and

(11:36):
there were people who concealed it and this needs to
be revealed.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Okay, let's just stick with comer for a second here. Now,
we heard the same thing that we're going to hold
people accountable whenever there was transactions that went to the
Biden family. We've heard this from Jim Jordan on the laptop.
We've heard these things before, even with Trey Goudy, going
all the way back to Benghazi. We hear where these

(12:03):
House members are going to hold people accountable, and it
never comes to.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Fruition and Jonathan, it came to fruition as far as
they could. But hey, the media covered up whatever the
findings were. And so there were findings on each one
of the issues that you had.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Well, the only reason I bring that up is because
it seems like Congress is not well. Congress wants to
use it the grand stand on television, but they don't
ever turn it over to anybody can actually prosecute people,
or we don't get that information to them. Where's the
hold up?

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Well, indeed, I'm really grateful that, Hey, the Attorney general.
We have a remarkable lady, Pam Bundy, who's the friend
of our South Carolina Attorney General, Allen Wilson, and they've
worked together over the years. So I've gotten to know
Attorney General Bundy so many times, and she will follow

(12:56):
through and the President has announced that she will be
looking into it. Hey, last week, I had a really
remarkable opportunity, and that is I had the opportunity to
meet with Cash Bettel, the head of FBI. Can you
imagine an individual who when we met, I was pointing
out to him that the FBI was corrupted even before

(13:18):
Donald Trump came into office in twenty fifteen, we had
them planning an insurance policy that Donald Trump couldn't be elected.
But then write, then with Comra, we had the situation
of contriving all types of events. And then the ultimate
to me was August eighth, twenty twenty three, and that

(13:41):
is the invasion at more Lago. And that can you
imagine that the FBI was used to raid at Dawn,
a home under the jurisdiction of the secret service of
a former president United States and what many of us
recognize as a gated community. They weren't so serious. I laughed,

(14:02):
I've till Rock's in that it had a FBI agent
took eleven hours going through Millennia's dresses, and so I
told Ron's hand to please get her addresses lined up,
and she said it won't take eleven hours.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
So we've got a lady named and I don't even
know if you've ever met her, Lamonica McIvor. She's a
New Jersey Democrat and she is on film or video
at least shoving an ICE agent. There's discussion about possibly
pressing charges against her. But she's also joined by I'm
sure you've met what's her name, Bonnie Watson, Coleman and

(14:39):
gold bar Bob Menendez's kid, Robert Menendez Junior. Those two
also were involved at that ICE detention center. We've all
seen how they circled the New Jersey mayor and then
told the ICE agents they couldn't arrest them even though
he was being arrested, and should they at very minimum.
I know they've had a House introduction on a censure

(15:02):
on those three. Do you support a center of these three?

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (15:04):
And what they were doing is actually assaulting the ICE
detention facility to liberate one of the three was a murderer,
a convicted murderer. Can you imagine the Democrat parties standing
up for murderers to bring the murderer back out on
the street. Actually, people who are Democrats should understand he
would very likely go to a Democrat neighborhood and murder

(15:26):
a Democrat, not a Republican. But aside from that, I
can tell you're trying to lead into the Tim walltz
A speech this week because he's coming to speak in
South Carolina and we know that over the weekend at
the University of Minnesota graduation at the law school that
he explained that the ICE agents and the FBI agents

(15:46):
or Gestapo, how sick is that. Okay, a commencement address
is not supposed to be political, but I know that
people must be lining up for the dinner of.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
This coming weekend happy hands with.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
The Tim Wilson and so just I knew you would
want to try to do.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
It through my happy hands impression of Tim Walls.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
But an unpaid advertisement for the Democratic Party for their donor.
Then because people want to, they want to line up
and hear about government, the American government being equivalent to
Nazi Germany. No, this is this is Trumps arrangement. Hey,
if people, hey, really, people should go. If they wonder
about what Trump arrangement is, they need to go to

(16:32):
the Democrat dinner at this coming weekend.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Probably some good food there.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Now, one of the things that you don't do is
put many restrictions on my questions. And I appreciate that.
Now here's my question, because I too am just I'm
in awe of what Trump was able to pull off
over the weekend of the Middle East. But when it's
all said, none, you bring home all these investments, you're
going to get all these deals. Now we've also kind
of put China in a box with the terriff arrangement.

(16:57):
So I'm very excited about that. It seem like the
odd man out in this regard. And let me rephrase that.
I don't see it as an odd man out, but
a lot of people do. A lot of people are
complaining now that odd man out on this is Israel.
Now I think that Israel is much like a baby

(17:17):
bald eagle. So here's Donald Trump over the nest. He's
got his wings spread. Nothing outside of a lightning bolt
is going to hit our little Israel nation, democracy agent
nation in the Middle East, and he's going to protect them.
He is protecting them. But a lot of people think
that Bbu being left out of a lot of these

(17:39):
conversations is an insult. Now tell me, since you're on
the Armed Services Board, you're on the committee, what is
your perception of this as much as you can speak
to it.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Well, I say you're right again. And I am the
CoA chair of the Israel concus And so I have
all my life been supportive of the existence of the
State of Israel. And the good news is that everything
Donald Trump did was beneficial to the people of Israel.
In fact, again back with Syria to have Alashara, the
new President of Assyria, who himself has been a Jihatist,

(18:12):
but he can change. He himself has been discussing joining
the Abraham Accords. You can't make that up. And the
Abraham Accords are the ultimate of recognition by all of
the states of the Middle East. And then it also
sets the stage, okay, and for Iran, President Trump has
made it very clear Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.

(18:36):
And so now that we're in a stage where we
see this, I am just confident that Iran will not
have a nuclear weapon. He's made it perfectly clear. He
wants to negotiate, but Iran is not going to negotiate
in good faith because they have a goal. It's called
death the Israel and death to America. And then I
want to praise the president. He's trying to reach out

(18:57):
to Walkerne the Putin, but he's going to find out
the war criminal Putin has a plan too, and it's
to resurrect the failed Soviet Union. It began with the
annexing of Belarus and then rigging the elections in Georgia
and then trying to rig the elections in Moldova and
he failed. And then I want to give you the
election results. Can you believe a country can actually count

(19:18):
votes in one day? Romania on Sunday had an election
and the anti Russian candidate was elected with the fifty
five percent of the vote, and one of your members
of Congress from the second district, myself, actually introduced a
statement last week urging the Peoplemania of Romania to avoid

(19:40):
the Putin puppet that has been running. And what you
have is in Europe, it's really sad, but it's clear
you have communists and fascists together and it just completes
that in some countries the communists of fascists. In other
countries the fascion is the communists. But bottom line, they

(20:02):
work together and they work for war criminal Putin. So
the president is trying to reach out, but we see
every day every time there's an effort to try to
reach out to Putin, there's an additional missile attacks and
these are indiscriminate on civilian targets. And then and then
of course they try to compare it to Israel defending itself.

(20:23):
It was in the news on Monday that indeed the
hospital that was attacked happened to have the headquarters of
Hamas underneath the headquarters and the leader of Hamas poor
thing passed away because.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
The hospital the nearby. He still passed.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
He was under hospital, he was underneath it and the
elevator up.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
And so you know, they should never report when people
die in Gadza. They should never not indicate human shields.
That's what it is. These are human shields. This is
not the intent of the people of Israel. And I'm
just a I'm so supportive of Israel and their efforts
to have their existence, but not only that, they're reaching

(21:05):
out and I've been urging them to significantly reach out
and the President did to Saudi Arabia and Tokyo and
we know that by working with all of our allies
and Tokyo member of NATO, Saudi Arabia when they're incredible
and hey, cutter, Okay, this is great, Okay. Bottom line,
I'm co chair of the gutter called HUSSU and I'm
thrilled that they're going to buy ninety six billion dollars

(21:28):
worth of seven eighty seven. Everybody should know that right
here in this community. Prismium Cable of Lexington makes the
cable Zeus Corporation of Orangeburg, Acan and Sandy Run makes
the tubing for the seven eighty sevens and agy Acan
makes the interiors. So ninety six billion dollars. It's almost
inconceivable except for one thing. It's jobs created here in

(21:50):
South Carolina and in the second district.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Well, I'm glad you. This is my final question because
I know you got to catch a flight, and it
was going to be a two part question because I
still hear newspeople calling it katar are, but you've cleared
it up. It's cutter and cutter. Would you be concerned
that Donald Trump accepted a four hundred million dollar jet
had he not gotten the billions in orders? Or is
it okay? Is it we're just looking the other way

(22:14):
because of that, or is it something that Donald Trump
says that it's not actually a gift to him.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Well, bottom line, it's a gift to the American government.
And somebody pointed out to me, hey, you've heard the
Statue of Liberty from the French people, and so this
there was not a.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
We still don't know if that's a trojan horse push
back and.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Say the Congress go ahead. They've pointed out that Congress
did vote to approve the Statue of Liberty. Should the
Congress vote to approve the four hundred million dollar jet
to be the new Air Force one.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
I'd certainly vote for it, and.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
I think it would pass Congress pretty easy.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Actually, well, who know, No, No, hey, Democrats and uncle
vote anything, God bless you, no, right and so, but no,
no time of day, they're not voting for it, okay,
and it's it's bad, okay. And but the bottom line
we have to put in mind that the new Air
Force one has been under construction for about ten years

(23:09):
and won't be available TOIL twenty twenty nine.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Did Connor know that when they were ordering from Boeing
that we're still waiting ten years on a jet for No.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Doesn't think so.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
But hey, I just have faith in Donald Trump, although
it would not hurt me to know that he is
in a jet, which is the equivalent of not a
flying Air Force one. White House. It's a palace, yeah,
a very beautiful.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Hell. I know that this will come to no surprise
to you, because I don't know if you actually get
a copy, maybe from some Democrat friends in the House
who sent you the talking points of the day. But
I have discerned concrete concretely now positively, if you miss
out on the email from the Democrats. Whoever's running the party?

(23:52):
Susan Wyke's Valerie jar ed whoever's running it? Maybe Jill Biden.
We don't know who's running the party. Now you gonna
do is listen to the first five minutes of Morning Joe.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
That's right, So I saw that's what Joe were watching.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
I was this morning. This morning they opened up with
the Moodies downgrade. Then they then they went on, then
they went skipped over Joe Biden. Then they went on
to talk about Putin's never going to come to the table,
skipped over Joe Biden, and then she made the big
announcement with much anticipation and a long, drawn out, huge pause,
to let you know, the big winner over the weekend
was journalism, the horse that won the Preakness. So that's

(24:33):
that is their perception. They got to find a way
to make sure that they continue to prop up to
the American people that journalism is a winner in this
country when plainly, unless you're on four hooves. Now granted,
she looks like a horse's ass, but unless you're on
four hoofs, and journalism is not winning in this country.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
And and Jonathan. We all say that sadly, we we
we were counting on a fair assessment of Donald Trump.
And we know in the last his first term, ninety
three percent of media coverage was negative. It's now moved
to ninety six percent. But if somebody you really want

(25:10):
to see as a victim is the Secretory of Defense
Pete Hegseth. It has been determined that one hundred percent
of coverage of his service. As he's crossing the street,
they remark, he's going too fast, too slow, whatever, and
you won't believe the jaywalking too and so. But the
bottom line is talk radio makes a difference, y'all keep

(25:32):
it up, and I just appreciate raphs, thoughts and what
a difference you make.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Get up to DC and vote on something.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
I'm going to make a wild prediction. I believe the great, big,
beautiful builds going to pass. And the covertsman from the
second District looks forward to being in the Oval Office
as it's being signed, or maybe the Rose Garden.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Oh thank you, sir,
