Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Jonathan and Kelly Show.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Jonathan Rush, what Ice is doing is an American it's
depriving people of their constitutional rights to do process.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Kelly Nash, one House Democrat, saying, quote, our own base
is telling us that what we're doing is not good enough.
There needs to be blood to grab the attention of
the press and the public to be more willing to
go out there and get shot when fighting back against
some of Trump's policies.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
And Kelly Show, they've been telling you it's not just
it's just not enough for you to stand there and
say what he's doing is un American, it's unconstitutional, it's unpatriotic.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
If that's not enough, you gotta go get shot.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
You need to go get it.
Speaker 6 (00:43):
Look, we sent you out there to fight Ice. The
Democrats were begging to get arrested so they could get
one of those infamous Orange jump Shoot jumpsuit mug shots.
They can't get the mugshot. So if you can't get
the mugshot, you're going to have to get shot.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
I have given the mayor of Los Angeles a new nickname.
So her name is Karen Bass. As you all know,
my mother used to when she was upset with me,
call me Bustard, and she'd say, you're cruising for a
bruising busted and so when you look at it, but
it means, it means somebody who is cruel. That's what
a bustard is. They're cruel is part of it. And
(01:20):
I believe Karen and all the Democrats that are calling
for the dmasking of ICE agents are cruel individuals. So
I've combined her because Bustard starts with a bee as well,
So I'm just going to put the last syllable with
her name, so she is Karen Bass. Stirred. Karen Bastard,
the mayor of Los Angeles, yesterday refused, unbelievably refused to
(01:45):
condemn the violence that happened in Texas against the ICE agents,
where you have eleven people in a coordinated attack using
new weapons, radios, a very sophisticated plan to lure them
out where they had snipers and elevated positions to try
to kill ICE agents. She refused to say that was
a bad thing, and the reporter said, I'm just trying
to get you to and she said, I don't know
(02:06):
anything about Texas. I can tell you we didn't have
a riot in Los Angeles. That's all I'm gonna say.
Are you freaking kidding me? Lady?
Speaker 6 (02:14):
The Transtifa, Trantifa, not trans but Trantifa.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
The very violent transgendered to.
Speaker 6 (02:21):
Sure their military outfits look fabulous. Oh look, hang on
a second, here's the man, Kelly Nash, Welcome back in
the studio. Good to see you, sir, US Congressman Joe Willson.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Morning and good morning, and what a great morning it is.
It's been one week since the One Beautiful Bill passed,
and indeed, not a single child has had any food
ripped from their mouths. All of the accusations being made
by the Democrats have been revealed to be absolutely untrue.
But what it has done, it has reinforced the whole
(02:53):
concept of Donald Trump as a great leader for our country.
Speaker 6 (02:56):
This morning is I was walking down to my house
thinking about the things we were going to be able
to do today, Kelly. I thought about the fact that
Joe Wilson was coming to the studio. Okay, I laughed
out loud as I thought to myself, and I stopped
in the middle of my driveway and I yelled it
as if I wanted to wake up every neighbor when
I yelled, you lie, Because if anybody needs to tell
(03:17):
the Democrats you're lying, Joe Wilson is the man that
can tell them.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
And I'm very happy to point that out.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Indeed, I almost every day point out that there's inconsistencies
and what the Democrats were saying and what actually is occurring. Hey,
and truly I've been vindicated. I would have never interrupted
the President, and in fact I apologize that evening to
the White House, except it was the issue of providing
(03:42):
free health care to legal aliens. Yes, and the President
said twice that this was not going to occur. Now
that is in the forefront, exactly in the forefront of
the Democrat process. But now they're very proudly pointing out
because hey, it is so clear Elon Musks, Craig everything
about the issue of illegal aliens coming to our country.
(04:03):
These are not immigrants, These are aliens. And that is
that their intent is to bring in enough people to
vote to create a one party, deep socialist state. That
was their goal. And the hey, they had a vision
that it was going to occur. It did not occur
to them that Donald Trump had the capabilities. And I
give him credit his personal capability. And again, hey, and
(04:25):
it's providential too. Okay, we'll be recognizing this week on Sunday,
the anniversary of the assassination attempt. And how clear that
it was providential that he turned his head at the
time he did, and so and equally providential that how
incredible it was that the only site from which somebody
(04:48):
have a clear shot was not monitored. And how inconceivable
all of this is except for one thing, Donald Trumps president.
He is achieving in six months more than the prior
president did in four years, and even better. The American
people are doing better. And then I've had the opportunity
(05:09):
to recently return for more saw Poland and Czech Republic
the love and affection that I've seen for our president.
And additionally I was with the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, And
how incredible to see the love and affection and appreciation
that it was Donald Trump who said, Hey, the way
(05:29):
to stop a war is to military deterrence, and for
all of our allies to finally come on board and
to provide two percent now five percent of their budget
of their gross domestic product to defend themselves from the
access of evil of Tehran. Moscow and Beijing.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Congressman Joe Wilson with us on the Jonathan and Kelly Show. So,
you know, we bring back the uli famous quote that
you had against Obama, and again we're using it to
talk about the Democrats, not what their policies are, but
how they lie about Republican policies. As we're recording this
on Thursday morning, we've got Gavin Newsom criss crossing South
(06:08):
Carolina and he is telling people and Florence and Kershaw
County and Pickens and all over the place that the
big beautiful bill, what we're going to see, it's going
to what it's actually becoming, he says, is it is
going to gut veterans' rights and benefits, It's going to
destroy education in America, and it's all just to give
(06:31):
a few people, the billionaires, big tax breaks. What would
you say to Gavin Newsom if he was in the
studio with this life.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
I would say, that's a lie. Let me change, let
me change the TRUMINALI. That is a lie, and it
clearly is a lie. The beneficiaries of the what we
did last week, and it's so clear the average family
of four the benefit is ten thousand dollars, and that's
really very, very helpful for any family. I know it's
(07:00):
a car payment, house payment, you name it. But at
the same time, I don't know if y'all call it.
Last week when they were arguing against the bill, and
they were saying that it was to benefit billionaires and
that they could receive a benefit of up to three
hundred and thirty thousand dollars, and I thought, hey, billionaires
don't care about.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Three hundred and thirty thousand dollars, and I couldn't.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
But it was an admission against self interest that it
was such an inconceivable benefit to billionaires. That the whole
thing is contrived and in its power, and that is
the Democrats revel and power. And I'm really grateful Republicans
wanted to devolve power. And I'm glad you mentioned education.
And we have people who are really incredible, like Chairman
(07:44):
Angela Nash of Risky District too, that we want to
devolve power back to local school districts. And that's why
a Secretary McMahon. Isn't it wonderful The part of education
building is virtually vacant in the US Department, and what's
going to happen is that as there's accusations that are
so cheap and taudiary that Trump wants to be dictator. No,
(08:07):
he is devolving power back to the people, particularly on education,
is the clearest one. But actually he wants to eliminate
or reduce FAMA. The tragedy that occurred in Texas should
be handled, as we saw, by the governor of Texas
and by the local government officials, who weren't they inspiring
(08:28):
to what they've had to face with the flooding at Kervell.
But it should be handled by local officials. And I
remember the sinkly as a saff judge advocate for the
Army National Guard, working with Governor Carol Campbell Republican, with
Mayor Joe Riley of Charleston.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
With Hurricane Hugo.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Well, we didn't count on the federal government. It was
handled by local government, and it should not be a
federal issue. And so over and over again, President Trump
is devolving power back to where it should be with municipalities,
with school districts, with our counties and states.
Speaker 6 (09:05):
I know this is not a congressional but it's exclusively
an executive issue. And I love Donald Trump and He's
amazing at what he can do, and I don't see
his negotiation tactics unfolding any more than his opponents do
as they sit across the table. So how could I
tell from Columbia South Carolina? But even Sally, my wife,
got very upset when he said, are.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
You talking about Epstein?
Speaker 6 (09:27):
I know that Congress needs to be able to walk
and chew gum at the same time. But in order
to bring the Epstein case, the who really use, the
autopen case, the COMI, and the Brenner case, we've got
to be able to not chew gum and walk at
the same time. You got to be able to jog
and eat breakfast at the same time, because we got
a lot of ground to cover if in fact, we're
(09:47):
going to make sure that the course that Donald Trump
sets us on is going to be righted in such
a way that the people who we know have abused
their power in the past have now been reconciled to
the point where we can sit the strong message don't
try this again. I'm getting very upset about this, as
you can tell.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Well, and we all should be. I really go back
to the beginning. It was the Internal Revenue Service that
was going after Cose again Trump, that was the beginning. Yeah,
they had an insurance follow Hey, my gosh, how did
you remember that name?
Speaker 6 (10:19):
Because they're living in side by side condos in Florida
right now, still sucking off the teet of the American
people because they're still getting their damn retirement benefit.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
From my perspective, they should be in jail, yes, because
indeed the deep state and people can laugh whether it
exists or not. Of course it does, and it needs
to be overcome, and the people need to ressert themselves
in on every issue you just mentioned. I have faith
and Jim Comer, he is the chairman of the Oversight Committee,
and we will be proceeding on every issue.
Speaker 6 (10:48):
No Republicans in Congress have an opportunity to speak with
Donald Trump in such a way. He has got his
fingers so much on the pulse of the American people,
but I think he's missing it on this epstein.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
And that's just an aberration that I don't truly understand.
But it needs to be revealed, whether it's the list
or not. There've been people on flight Law and indeed too,
I have the highest regard for the Attorney General of
Pam Bondy. I had the opportunity to actually work with
her over the years when she was the Attorney General
(11:20):
of Florida and so over and over. I was grateful
she was working very closely with the Attorney General of
South Carolina in many different issues. I think his name
is Alan Wilson and so.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
But Pam is really.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
An incredibly capable young lady, and what a great attorney general.
And so I'm confident all of this will be thoroughly revealed.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Ironically, if I was one of the people like Bill
Gates or a Bill Clinton who had been mentioned as
one of the potential clients of Jeffrey Epstein, I would
be demanding release the information. But I don't hear anything
from those gentlemen or others. But anyway, and.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
One thing on that that is interesting if indeed the
accusations of my Democrat friends that hey, it's being held
up because Trump is involved. No, if Trump was involved,
the Biden administration would reveal that on day one, as
they were concealing one hundred Biden's laptop, they would use
(12:19):
equal enthusiasm to disclose the level of involvement of Donald Trump.
And so whatever that's going on, again, Hey, that's where
talk radio is so important. If we didn't have talk radio,
my goodness, and with the cover ups that we have
by mainstream media. And as I'm meeting with the foreign
(12:41):
legislator's parliamentaries from around the world, I say, hey, what
environment that we have in our country? And that is
that when President Trump was first president, ninety six percent
of the media was negative to him. Now it's improved,
it's only ninety three percent negative. And I point out,
like a magazine or a newspaper that should be trusted,
(13:03):
like Politico one time, I actually counted that they didn't
have just four articles on the front page that were
negative and totally contrived about the serious issues of jaywalking
by Donald Trump. But then they had on the front
they had three other articles in the interior for you
to read, and those were negative too, So they set
(13:25):
a record seven on one front page.
Speaker 5 (13:28):
Well, you know, we were talking about the frustration of
the Epstein case, and I think Epstein is going to
be one of the top scandals in American history. However,
even bigger than that, I think we saw starting to
play out a little bit yesterday was the scandal of
(13:49):
not only the American media but the entire White House
and the entire Democratic apparatus working in conjunction to hide
a man and Joe Biden who was not qualified to
be the president, nor was he actually actively participating as
the leader of the country. And you saw his doctor
claiming the Fifth Amendment on everything. Is there anything I
(14:12):
know Comer is leading this? Is there anything that he
can do now that this guy's pleading the Fifth Are
they going to be able to get access to records?
What do you see Congress doing here?
Speaker 2 (14:21):
And Kelly and it really has said we don't hate
Joe Biden. Okay, there is actually a Trump arrangement where
there are people who actually make up issues about Donald
Trump through a mental illness. And as a former president
of the Mental Health Association here in the Midlands, I
recognize the mental illness. It's called Trump arrangement. Sent John,
But at the same time, this is really very serious
(14:44):
and I'm really grateful to you. Jim Comer is doing
a good job. But also doctor Ronnie Jackson, who actually
had been the House physician and I worked with him
in day one. He introduced legislation three years ago to
call for a mental exam, not of Joe Biden, but
of every president, maybe even every elected official over the
(15:05):
age of sixty five. But whatever, I signed on to
that bill right away on what was one of his
first co sponsors. And so I hope everybody will actually
look at doctor Ronnie Jackson of Texas, who indeed has
the experience of being the White House physician. And so
it's a spectacle. And it also relates to another issue,
and that is the auto pen And the more that
(15:27):
I find out about that that an autopen. Yes, all
presidents of used it except for one thing. It was
with understanding of what was being done. There's no question
that Joe Biden was not capable, and they were using
the autopen while he was in the White House.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
With Jake Caffer's book is even halfway true, a quarter
of the staff should be in prison right now. That
worked for Joe Biden.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Well it just and I hey, we all expected Democrats
to cover up about Joe Biden, but to see the
complicity of the national mainstream media is even more inexplicable.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
And then hey, and they had worked out.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Remember with Kamala's interview on CBS fixed the responses, can
you imagine? Come on, But they did have a nineteen
million dollar fine. It should have been a billion. But
the bottom line, over and over again, that's where talk
radio is so important, and I treasure the person who
(16:30):
actually made this possible. Now Lightnings goes strike and it's wrestling.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Limbaugh.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
He saved AM radio by himself. In my view, he
saved AM Radio, which then provided for alternative news capability
that you could be done in a less, very inexpensive way,
and it made it possible for a local radio talk
show host to make a difference within the community.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
Yeah, you mentioned the mainstream media and ABC, NBC, CBS
and the like really should be investigated, if no other reason,
just because of their kind contribution, not necessarily to the
web page, but to the movement that is MoveOn dot org,
which was born during the Clinton impeachment. To me, their
whole case has always been we got away with it,
don't go back and investigate it. We need to move forward.
(17:17):
Let's don't go back and look at that. We got
other issues to deal with. Well, the frustration with the
American people is we continually see and whether you're a Republican, democratic, independent,
you start to get a little bit of this tarnish
on you that people in power get away with all
kind of crap all the time, and the American people
have had.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
It up to their butt.
Speaker 6 (17:37):
They finally see an outsider come into the china shop.
Donald Trump is their bull, and he wants to see
him break crap from the front door all the way
to the back. And there's not a piece of crystal left.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
And that's what he's doing in the achievement. As we
are here in the sixth month.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
I had said all along that we didn't need any
new immigration reform. What we needed was to force the
laws we have. And look what's done Jonathan one hundred
percent maintaining our border. But also the big new bill,
and this is important. Now there's been some confusion that
there's an addition of ten thousand border agents and maybe
(18:15):
one hundred and fifty billion dollars to build the wall,
and legitimately even Donald Trump brought up, maybe we don't.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Need to build all the wall.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Yeah, we do because a Democrat will come back into office,
and so we need to have the wall and to
make it impossible for them to achieve their goal of
a one party.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Deep socialist state.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
And so over and over again, there are issues that
are coming up that have been achieved. I'm thrilled about
all the above energy and Secretary right, and hey, you
should be aware too that a local citizen, David Wright,
has been named the chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission,
and so this is very important to us. I represent
(18:54):
the Savannah River site. We are going to have a
new age of a nuclear capability of power and also defense,
and I'm just so thrilled about that. As we achieve
energy independence and as we address the issues around the
world they relate to energy.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
We're talking with Congressman Joe Wilson and you brought up energy.
Mentioned Elon Musk earlier. One of the things that Elon
has been pretty I don't know, adamant about is that
in his estimation, we are losing to China when it
comes to energy, specifically in order to fuel the Ai Revolution.
If we don't have the energy, we're going to lose
(19:32):
the Ai Revolution. And by his estimation, whoever wins that
Ai Revolution over the next five to ten years is
actually going to control the world. China's gone all in
on dams. They got a dam that's so big it's
actually slowed the rotation of the Earth. They I mean
it's and then he's saying solar energy, not the kind
(19:53):
that we're thinking about where we put the things on
our houses. He's talking about government you know, industrial sized
solar thing. He says that America is falling way behind
China and that technology. Is there going to be a
move in Congress. Not necessarily you know, the drill, baby
drill that we've always heard from the Republicans, but something
to try to push the government towards increasing our energy capabilities,
(20:16):
not to just be you know, independent of Russia and
others in order to fuel our vehicles, but more importantly
to fuel what we need for AI.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
And Kelly, again, you're head of the curve, and that
is that. Indeed, the President has pushed for developing a
small monjuary actors, and we have different companies that are
developing this technology and how important this can be. It
can be for energy security. You could have at Fort
Jackson that I'm grateful to represent, a small monjorary actor
(20:46):
that would run the entire facility and at the Savannah
River site and then for back up, and you would
have it at locations. I can think of Hilton Head Island,
I can think of Guam, I can think of different
military and island facilities that can be energy independent with
small minjor reactors, and so he has said by twenty
(21:09):
twenty seven that there should be a small manjor reactor
and capability. And I just see that it's just so beneficial.
And of course I love to point out that actually
with the Savannah Riversite, we have a three hundred and
ten miles square mile facility which is secure, which would
be a wonderful place to develop and build small major reactors.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
Love it.
Speaker 6 (21:28):
One of the things we talked about before in Christin
Noman introduced us to this with her opportunity basically for
persons to come forward and recognize that they were not
legal citizens and have an opportunity to then apply for
citizenship and come back through the big beautiful door as
Donald Trump described it in the Wall, that we'll be completed.
But the other thing is that we're seeing videos is
now people pushing back because they've understood the lie, or
(21:51):
or they're trying to perpetrate the lie that we're taking
food out of the mouths of children, when in fact
we're actually making sure that the people that are signing
up for what does a charity is medicaid. It's not
a program you paid into like Medicare. So as we
see people now pushing back and actually using videos to
describe the things they're buying soft drinks and candy and
(22:12):
the like, and reasons why taxpayers are going to be
infuriated again as they see people taking advantage of the
system and knowing that we're going to go forward now
and cutting back in a lot of that waste and
abuse that Elon Musk pointed out first with Doge. It
would be wonderful that we had an opportunity for people
to come forward and recognize that I had been defrauding
the American government, and I don't want to be prosecuted,
(22:32):
So I'm admitting it now, and if you got ninety
days to do that. If you don't come forward, then
when we find out you have been defrauding the government,
we're going to claw all that money back and we're
going to put you in prison. I'd love to see
the federal government offer a program like that. Kelly thinks
that's too much of a clawback that I'm looking for retribution,
you know something, I damn sure I am as a taxpayer,
(22:53):
I'm looking for it, well, what a great suggestion.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
And indeed, isn't it impressive to see Quisty Nome in
a very polite way say hey, turn yourself in and
get a thousand dollars and leave the country and you
can come back. And she says it in a compassionate way.
And I was happy to point out on the House
floor last week the compassion is what Republicans are doing
concerning these different programs, and that is that the Democrats
(23:19):
what they are proposing will as Margaret Thatcher pointed out
about socialism, that it will work until you run out
of spending other people's money. And so the Republicans are
the compassionate. We want programs to exist, and we want programs.
I worked with actually remarkable with Governor David Beasley with
(23:39):
the Clinton administration to change when I was in the
State Senate to change welfare to work fair and think
of the people who benefited from that, and now we
see that will benefit again. And so it's the Republicans
who are being compassionate. And I was very happy to
point out on the House floor as somebody, a member
of Congress just yelled at at us, and I was
(24:03):
there with the chairwoman in Virginia Fox and yelled and said,
we're going to hell, but for what we're doing. And
then another lady jumped up and announced that we created
a deal with the devil. And I thought I've heard enough.
I jumped up, and it was impromptu, but I spoke,
and I pointed out the compassionate or Republicans and Conservatives
(24:27):
who want programs for people who are truly needy, and
keep the programs alive for the truly needy, but to
take away the people who are greedy.
Speaker 5 (24:36):
Good point. We're talking with Congressman Joe Wilson. I had
the honor of visiting you in your office a few
weeks back, and that was an exciting time. I got
to see how hectic your schedule is. It really is
kind of insane and frantic, the amount of energy you
have to pour out every day to meet with all
these people, these constituents and other leaders. And I found
it comical that at one point you were supposed to
(24:58):
get on a zoom call and you were trying to
wrap up another meeting, and the guy whoever, one of
your assistants was eventually said, sir, we can only keep
the billionaire waiting for another minute, and it was because
there's this tower that they're trying to build in Damascus. Now,
some people would think that this is a joke, or
that this is just a troll the Republic or atrolled Democrats,
But talk to us a little bit about the importance
(25:19):
of a Trump tower in Damascus.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Well, I'm really grateful. One of the greatest honors I've
had on the Foreign Affairs Committee last November was to
be identified and condemned by the dictatorship in Syria Besar
Aside as an enemy of the state. And then three
weeks later he fled to Moscow. So I don't claim credit,
but I did my part, and then I was working
(25:42):
with the Syrian opposition here in the United States, and
so I'm very very grateful that I was also trying
to get the attention of President Trump that we have
a real opportunity with the new leader Alhara to create
an opportunity for Syria ultimately, and this is now coming
(26:04):
to fruition to possibly part of the Abraham Accords to
work with Israel. But the bottom line is to get
the President's attention. I propose that there should be I
dream one day that in a free and democratic Damascus,
there would be a Trump Tower. Well out of the blue,
a billionaire in the United Arab Emirates found out this
(26:26):
proposal and it actually has construction permit for a forty
five story Trump tower, and he's still trying to get security,
I mean, the capability to put Trump on the side.
But it's a beautiful rendering it that I've shown you
of a beautiful forty five story skyscraper in downtown Damascus
with the Trump Tower now, and so.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
It really is a way I found out.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
And I don't claim credit, but I give credit to
the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and to President Erdigon
of Tokyo that indeed, just this week, the Syria has
been delisted from any sanctions as we're working with. These
are former Jihatis. These are nice people, but they've changed.
(27:12):
And I had the opportunity to explain to the Israeli
ambassador and he was quite skeptical that indeed the new
government of Syria has changed, and they are and I'm
just but it's again an indication of the success of
Donald Trump that people now and particularly with the bombing
of the nuclear capabilities of Iran, there's new respect around
(27:37):
the world with our allies. First, they now know that
they can count on Donald Trump. But the enemies of
our country, war Putin, Komani, the g of Beijing, all
now see and so does even Kim Jong Un now
(27:58):
finally realize we have a president who is working for peace,
true strength. During his first term, there were no wars
now under Biden where you had such weakness and you
actually capitulated and surrendered to the Taliban in Afghanistan. The
consequence was we had wars all over the world. And
now President Trump is possibly making every effort to reduce
(28:21):
conflict that would never be imagined between India and Pakistan.
Over and over again. He is doing his best to
promote peace true strength.
Speaker 6 (28:30):
I know we're weighing heavily on your time, As Kelly mentioned,
you have a very busy schedule, but I'm not one
thousand percent sure I'm correct on this. You can correct
me where I'm wrong. The Democrats have been saying, because
of the cutbacks to Medicare and the like, then you're
going to see rural hospital systems in the state of
South Carolina and others go barely up and then let
the close their doors well to seem that, and this
is where I want you to correct me if I'm wrong.
(28:52):
For so long, the American people have been funneling money
through the government to hospital systems, and we know that
there's been so much much fraud, of abuse and prosecution
in some cases because we know people who have been
sent to prison from millions of dollars of money that
they scammed out of the medicare system. So the hospital
systems have had an opportunity to suck off the government
for all these years. They use that money to continue
(29:15):
to expand their business plan, many of them a private
public business plan. And now that they've control all the
major metropolitan areas, they're starting to build some finally into
the rural areas. So the money that they were thinking
they were going to be able to suck off the
American teap for through the government now is starting to
dry up. So the whole thing about the possibility of
a hospital system having to shut doors is actually an
(29:38):
admission that we've been scamming so much money through the
federal government. We actually under the auspices of trying to
serve the American people and serve rule America. Now we've
got to shut it down because the government's not going
to give us any more money.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
And indeed, what can be done too is telemedicine. And
I was really grateful when I represented Allendale countyviously in Congress.
It's the second poorest county in North America. But so
much could be done now by telemedicine and so people
didn't need to leave their homes, particularly with the issues
of diabetes, which is so prevalent in that county. And
(30:16):
over and over again there are new technologies that can
be applied. I actually met with a doctor two days
ago and he told me that with the capabilities we
have now, AI can actually review the different X rays
and it says somewhat hurt his feelings, he said, may
(30:38):
not need.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Me in the future.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
So over and over again we see technology coming in
that should be used to benefit the people in the
rural areas and not just throw money, as you say,
into institutions that have become financially not viable.
Speaker 5 (30:57):
Well, Congressmen, again, we've taken a lot of your time
this morning, and we appreciate you coming by and making
some time for the listeners of the Jonathan and Kelly Show.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Well, I enjoy eleven o'clock on Saturday, and hey, which
is five o'clock London time. And I've actually and I
think it was in Warsaw and was listening to you
live in Warsaw and so and again. To me, that's
the dream come true too. I am a continuing supporter
(31:30):
of Ronald Reagan, and he brought up peace to his strengths.
He liberated so many countries that I have the opportunity
to work with in the Foreign Affairs Committee and Armed
Services Committee. These countries didn't even exist, or if they
did exist, they were slave states, and now they're all free.
Poland has the fastest growing economy in the world.
Speaker 5 (31:48):
Well, it's funny because people like me call ourselves Reagan Republicans.
I think that the generation that's coming up now, they're
all going to be Trump, but they're going to be
Maga Republicans.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
They will be and Maga. That's been a misunderstanding too,
when people say Maga is isolation.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
No they're not.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
These are the successors of Barry Goldwater. I'm going to
go back the successors of Ronald Reagan, and that is
peace through strength, and so the isolation stort of tiny percent.
I regret that they get so much attention, and because
they truly believe that the Atlantic Ocean is sufficient depends
and they've forgotten, indeed, nine to eleven, and they've never
(32:25):
even heard of December the seventh. But the bottom line
is I have a lot of faith in Donald Trump
when we see as he acted. He tried to reach
out to Ran. Can you imagine reaching out to KAMENI
That doesn't work. He tried to reach out to Kim
Jong un. And now we see that he has figured
out that any effort to work with war Colonel Putin
(32:47):
determinology he used this week is meaningless. And also two
weeks ago he said that Putin was crazy. Well, actually
Putin wants to resurrect the failed Soviet Union. It begins
ra began with the annexation of Belarus and the invasion
of the Republic of Georgia and the maintaining of troops
(33:07):
in Transistoria and Moldova. But then the next is to
eliminate the existence of Ukraine. And so the people of
Ukraine are doing their best to stop what.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Could be World War III. And I believe that Donald
Trump sees this now more clearly than ever, and so
over and over again, I love to point out that
Donald Trump is a unique political individual and that he
tries to work with people, and then when he finds
out you can't work with him, then he takes extraordinary,
very positive actions.
Speaker 6 (33:37):
I'm going to stop just short of an apology, and
I think that you probably have a lot of conversations
with the American people like you have with me. When
people that talk to you get so emotionally involved in
the conversation, it's because it's almost like I'm on an
amphibious vehicle looking at Normandy Beach. We have an opportunity
to land here with a leader who is actually going
(33:57):
to take us over the ridge, and we're going to
knock out the strongholds from these lion Democrats. That has
brought us to a point where we're almost there, we
can almost grab that brass ring. And sometimes when we
see things may slip away, we get very frustrated because
we may never have this opportunity to write this country again.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Well, in fact, I believe Donald Trump agrees with you that.
I think he actually sees that he's got two years,
maybe eighteen months yes, to do all he can do
because the elections next year are going to be so
critical for the American people, and I just and we
don't take a thing for granted. And hey, if the
Democrats come back, Jonathan Kelly, it's gonna be so sad.
(34:38):
It's gonna be impeachment twenty four hours a day, and
it's just gonna be over the weekend. I was going
through some of my papers and found where the different
impeachments that occurred, and how wasteful that was and how
stupid it was, and hey, all the goofy things that
Biden did. Anytime I told me that we need to
(35:01):
impeach him, I said, no, no, no, we can just
we can actually present positive issues and address it, but
not the impeachment Republican or Democrat is not going to
make it through the US Senate. And so that was
a false issue. But it was a way to make
fun of and try to derail Donald Trump. And then
isn't it exciting to see the efforts that were made
(35:24):
to destroy Donald Trump in New York and Atlanta, even
in Miami over and over again have failed. And what
stamina he has. And indeed I'm a Trump convert. The
first time he ran in twenty sixteen, he was my
fifth choice. I was supporting Lindsey Graham.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
And so.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
Okay, and you don't need to remind me alone.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
But at the bottom line, as I'm a Trump convert,
and I just see it is his policies. That's why
on August eight, twenty twenty three, I endorsed Donald Trump
the day that his home was raided by the FBI
and a home under the jurisdiction Secret Service. And I knew,
(36:12):
without having been there, but been there several times since
I knew it was in a gated community. I just
had a feeling it was a gated community. And so
the day that if the FBI could raid a former
president's home under cover of darkness, that every American was
(36:32):
at risk, even Democrats one day could be. And so
now the bottom line is, we've got a president delivering.
He's delivering on peace through strength, he's delivering on our border,
he's delivering on maintaining the tax cuts. And again go back,
for the average family, it's a benefit of ten thousand dollars,
but for the billionaire, it's a benefit of three hundred
and thirty thousand dollars, which is one day transactions for them. Okay,
(36:56):
but ten thousand, I call it car payment now and
the new world just despite some people selling cars, hereat
the bottom line.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
You can buy a whole lot of key is for
ten grand.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
I'm no, no, I'm talking about making the payments right, Okay,
I'm gonna just make payments, okay. But the bottom line
again that our president is delivering on his his promises made,
promises kept. That was the speech that I gave on
the House for last week twice promises made, promises kept.
And I see his sticking up for Israel. I mean gosh,
and to be with Prime Minister net and Yahoo is
(37:31):
so exciting to me because Israel has eliminated Amas truly
on Hesbellah and they're going after the Huthis. And then
I have faith in the people of Iran. It should
not be done from outside, but from within the country.
The people of Iran need to achieve regime change, because
until the head of the snake the octopus is defanged,
(37:58):
we'll always have issues here in our country and also
around the world.
Speaker 6 (38:03):
Thank you so much for being able to come in,
and thank you for being willing to come in.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Oh here, I'd love to see the expressions on y'all's face. Okay,
And sometimes they're good.
Speaker 6 (38:14):
Congressman Joe Wilson, thank you, sir.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
And best wish to everyone, and again thank you for
talk radio. And as we here at the anniversary of
the attempted assassination, I believe it's really providential that Donald
Trump become our president, and with that the American people
truly need to come together. Even my Democrat friends, and
we do work together much more often than it appears,
(38:37):
particularly on foreign affairs and security, and so I'm very
encouraged for our country that indeed we've got a president
making America great again.
