Speaker 1 (00:00):
Kelly Nash. Welcome on the phone. The man who not
only wants to put Lindsey Graham out of office after
almost twenty five years, he's also the architect of Project
twenty twenty five. His name is Paul Dans.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Good morning, sir, Morning, Paul, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Now, I don't know, I know you're not originally a
Gamecock fan, but you will be this weekend as you're
going to be meeting people in the Fairgrounds area before
the big Alabama game. And what can they expect to
be able to talk to you about. What are the
issues that you're hearing talking to people in South Carolina
that you want to continue the conversation with come tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Well, we want to make America first. This is all
about making South Carolina. Let's end these daendless wars that
Lindsey Graham has been promoting for now thirty two years
in Washington. Let's actually build up this state instead of
destroying foreign countries and spending our blood and treasure abroad.
This is about making the American dream affordable again and

(00:54):
really reaching out to this younger generation. Look, I'm a
fan of huge college sports. I played my self contact
sports and it was an all American, uh, student athlete
and lacrosse. So Saturdays. I mean, this fall, this is
what God built. This is going into a big weekend
like this. This is what we're all about, and it's

(01:15):
and it's time to bring it not only on the
playing field, but I'm going to bring it up in
Washington and actually bring America First Fighter to to DC.
That's going to represent us back at home.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
I'm talking with Paul Dan's. Now tomorrow you're going to
be at a tailgate event. Uh, this is being sponsored
by whom Our.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Tailgate is going to be out in the Paragrounds area.
We love people to stop by. We're being hosted by
the South Carolina Emerging Tech Association. So that's bitcoin, that's
all digital. Yeah, definitely be giving out answers. This is
the way you know, for the next generation, really of

(01:58):
giving you some financial freedom and liberty. But this is
really what our whole campaigns about. We are medical freedom.
We are all about closing the borders and making this
country great again. In a way that we've supported President
Trump like I look, I've been working for President Trump
since twenty fifteen. I got him elected, helped work him

(02:19):
to get elected in sixteen worked in this first administration,
But this is really about America first and making life
affordable again, and emerging crypto currency is a way to
kind of get around the statism, the fact that Lindsey
and the rest of the gang, they really just want
to control your life and move this towards the global

(02:42):
a global world, and we're trying to protect our national
sovereignty here at home.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Well, you mentioned forward thinking in particular with bitcoin and
other technologies. But as you look at what lies in
the future for the state of South Carolina and your
position in Washington fighting in the swamp, let's talk about
some of the things you probably addressed in Project twenty
twenty five. For instance, we're coming up in a big
election season here with runoffs in South Carolina. We've already

(03:10):
got some concerns here in the state of South Carolina
with our election commission. Talk to me about sort of
things that are must have in the future for the
United States to make sure our elections are fair and
also bring integrity to our elections.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Well, that's right. I was the director and actually the
architect of Project twenty twenty five. So if you like
what President Trump's done in the last nine months. That's
what I've worked the last three years on. I've gone
on ten years here in South Carolina. I'm married to
Carolina Girl. Best in the world. Again, probably something I
disagree with lindsay on, but we need to have free

(03:48):
and fair elections or we're not even going to have
a republic government. And that's critical President Trump realizes that
I went to fight for him in twenty twenty and
saw it with my own eyes, the rigged and stolen
election down to Georgia. We need to have the federal
government focused on that, and I think they're just now
beginning to get out of the gate with some of

(04:10):
the folks at the DOJ. This is something that has
to always be tended to because it will get out
of control here in South Carolina. You know, one of
the great mysteries is that we can have this super red,
supermajority conservative Republican state and produce people like Lindsey Graham
to represent us, who's actually he scores an f when

(04:34):
it comes to conservative values. For my old employer to
Heritage Foundation. We need to close the primaries. That's a
state issue. But there's a swamp here in South Carolina.
As much as there's a swamp up in Washington. I'm
fighting the machine. I'm a political outsider. I'm not a
professional politician, but I'm just a data four who basically

(04:57):
said I have to use my talents. I went to
MIT undergrad and University of Virginia School of Law, and
I need to stand up for this country because so
many of us have been beneficiaries of this American dream.
Every one of us is the inheritor of this sacrifice,
going back hundreds of years to the patriots who fought

(05:17):
the revolution right here in this very state. And we
have to It's on us now. This is we're on watch.
We have to turn this over to the next generation
in a way that is better than we found it.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
We're talking with Paul Danz who's running for Senate against
Lindsey Graham. If you're talking to a Lindsey Graham supporter,
somebody who says I agree with you know probably seventy
five percent of the things that he votes for our
campaigns on I have some disagreements with him. I'm not
going to line up perfectly with any candidate, but Lindsey
does seem to have the ear of the President. Donald

(05:51):
Trump has said many times Lindsey likes to help us
when we need help with the left. Why would I
choose you over the guy that Donald Trump seems to
say I need help from.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Well, Donald Trump's only going to be in Washington two
more years, and Lindsey cannot be trusted with carrying on
Donald Trump's agenda America First. If you talk about and that,
you know two out of three primary goers do not
trust this man. And there's a reason why he's a snake.
We cannot forget the old Lindsey where he was saying

(06:24):
Donald Trump can go to hell. He was saying he's
the worst nominee in the history of the Republican Party.
And you know he was basically, if he had his way,
there never would have been a Donald Trump. He spent
the first part of Donald Trump's twenty seventeen twenty eighteen
delegitimizing that presidency. He was behind the Russia hoax. At

(06:46):
the time, we should have been building a border wall.
Fast forward, now we have twenty million illegals because Lindsey
was fighting Donald Trump the whole time. If you vote
for Lindsey, you are voting for Grahamnesty. We know what
this guy's all about. If you were to vote again
for lindsay, you're voting for more war, probably world War three.

(07:07):
The guy as we speak is urging bombing in Venezuela. Okay,
that is one of the major sites of oil in
this western hemisphere. You are guaranteed a price shock when
that goes off. So this is a guy who's just
constantly about World War three. And that's why I'm going
to end endless wars and actually endless spending and bring

(07:29):
investment back here to South Carolina. And for those who
are just beginning to sit in traffic right now, let's
actually fix this state instead of building roads halfway around
the world.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
You know, one of the things a lot of South
Carolinia is who happen to be federal workers or TSA
agents or whatever their job description and what umbrella they're
working for with the federal government sitting on the sideline
or they're working right now free hoping they're going to
get their paychecks totally refunded to them after this shutdown
is over. We're hearing from Republicans now that this I

(08:00):
think couldand up being the longest shutdown in American history
since you were steeped in policy. But Project twenty twenty five.
I'm going to assume that you also are steeped in messaging.
Why is it we're not hearing the Republicans explain more
about what the Democrats are looking for in order for
them to be able to negotiate and get the deal
that they want to end the shutdown?

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Right well, the Democrats that made the Hill that die
on illegal medical care for illegals, and once we pass
that threshold, it's kind of all over the Republicans. Look,
I solute the folks who are actually working right now
for the federal government because there are the essential workers.
The federal government never really shuts down. It slows down,

(08:43):
and it does the essential parts of the government, which
begs the question why is it doing anything beyond that?
So during this this slowdown, it's actually a helpful process
because we cut it back, just like Elon Musk did
when he acquired Twitter. You know, you famously fired eighty
percent of people and it ran just the same. You

(09:05):
figure out that things that aren't running when you make
a big cut and you add them back, but you
have to kind of take a chunk out first and
then add back to necessary things. But certainly with TSA.
With these security aspects, law enforcement and obviously social Security

(09:25):
checks and keeping things running. That's always going to be
part of government that never gets shut down, and the
Republicans have to make that clear.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
We're talking with Paul Dan's running for the current Lindsay
Graham seat. I see you've posted up a poll a
couple of weeks ago that you had a huge spike
in September. I guess the polling is going well. And
you're also going to be coming to the University of
South Carolina on Monday. Is this a turning point USA
event like you just were at at Citadel or is
this something else that's right?

Speaker 3 (09:54):
This one is going to be hosted by the College Republicans,
and the National College Republicans has just endorsed me. So
this campaign is really for this next generation. It's everyone
thirty five and under who hopes to have a share
of the American dream. The guys and gals who are
out there right now filling up at the QT or whatever,
starting their day, working hard to get ahead and actually

(10:17):
get a piece of the rock. This is about making
life affordable the kids. You know, we are God Family Country,
and Charlie Kirk, the leader of Turning Point was no
fan of Lindsay. He said, this is one of the
number one goals of getting rid of these Rhino senators
in Washington, and that's where I'm stepping up to do this.

(10:37):
We will be Monday at USC. It's open to the
public seven pm at the Russell House Ballroom with the
USC College Republicans. I'd love to see people out there
and be telling you about our campaign and answering questions
and really meeting voters. But this is about the kids.
We've had great polling we started here and in August

(10:59):
have doubled our numbers. We're up. You know, Lindsay and
myself were at health tomorrow, we'd be in a runoff.
So he knows we're coming and this is going to happen.
That's the major thing people should take away. There is
hope in the future we are getting rid of Lindsay.
We are retiring him to a golf course, hopefully one
in Florida.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
So you're going to be in the fairgrounds and there
will be an exact location availability to point out on
your web page for those of you going to the
Alabama game. Then Monday night at the Russell House and
then you have another event in fact for Turning Point
USA November. The temp that'd be a little more open
to the public is that the way I understand it.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Well, we'll have more details where at Dansfirsenate dot Com.
I'll be with Turning Point Action folks in the College
of Charleston. I know this Wednesday, but we are constantly
getting together with groups all over the state Turning Point
the local GOP chapters, but follow us on social media

(11:59):
to get the exact details. I'll get more out on
the events on the tenth, but we will be having,
you know, continually getting around the Midlands particularly, this is
an area that you know, this is the heart of
South Carolina and the working class. I'm a pure blooded deplorable.
I came from the folks that fought these foreign wars,

(12:22):
you know, went back and built this country in the
factory workers, only to see those jobs shipped abroad. So
I am doing my part to make sure we make
America great again by building actually putting our money to
work here in South Carolina. Paul Dans not over in Afghanistan, Paul.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Dan's It's been great speaking with you and let's go
game cocks.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yes, see you tomorrow again.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
I'm assuming you're having your Carolina girl wife actually pick
out or maybe go buy a brand new game Cock
shirt that you'll be wearing tomorrow. So you put her
in charge of wardrobeing for that.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Well, this is what happens when you married ballerina in
your first three kids are girls. She has cut into
my college football like nobody knows. But I got a
four year old son and she's, uh, you know, we're
working on more. So my college football days are only
going up. I was big into college football at the
University of Virginia and all, but I'm excited to be

(13:20):
you know, ten years here. We're game Cock fans and
hey we're also Tigers.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
So the Tiger voters out there, he forgot you either.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Well, you know, guy probably ended the whole hit. But look,
it's all about you know, playing sports and contact and
getting in the arena. And that's why I really salute
these guys. You know, I remember what it was like
psyching up the day before a big game, especially when
you're trying to even things out. Let's let's get this
record and on any given Saturday, this is the time

(13:52):
where you have to be a playmaker. You have to
come out early in the game, get these guys psyched up,
be a leader in the locker room. So I'm excited.
You know, take down Alabama, this would be awesome.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Well, give it your history of playing lacrosse. I'm assuming
that you're used to playing hardball politics. We're going to
see a lot of that coming up in this race
with Lindsey Graham. We'll talk to you soon. Thank you
for keeping us updated and go Cox.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Yes see. Gentlemen, thank you.
