David Turnbull from Adelaide, Australia shares his journey being in ministry with a son with a disability. He shares many precious stories and reflects on the rich tapestry that peoples with a disability bring to the mission of the Church.
Living with difference features prominently for David. He has participated extensively in the global church for over 30 years in activities with a range of intercultural, mission and globally focused organizations in Australia and beyond. His main cross-cultural experience involved lecturing in Nigeria. Since 1999 David has lectured in the areas of missiology and intercultural engagement in Adelaide and beyond. His PhD, completed in 2019, explored clergy and cultural intelligence. He current serves as the International Ministry Director for Local Leaders International managing their Local Online: A Global Strategy project. He is married and has one son, Matthew.
