(00:14):
Hi, and welcome to another episode of readingbetween the words where you get to meet the
author and find out the story behind the book.
And today, we have a very special guest.
Wanda Harris is here, and Wanda's gonna talkabout an upcoming event that you get to
participate in.
We're so excited for this.
Wanda, thank you for being here today.

(00:36):
I am so, so happy to be here, you know, andjust wanna connect and be involved with
everybody, you know, who are the listeners.
Yeah, I just, I can say a little bit about me,but not much because I don't wanna go up on
that tangent for who when.
I'm what they call an inside out approachbusiness and life coach, and they call me that

(00:57):
because well, I guess I you guys know them asclients.
I call them miracle mates, and they are mymiracle mates.
And they call me that because I get a chance toplay with the internal inside of everybody else
and to get the outside results.
So it's not about the outside.
It's about the inside.
So they call me the inside out approach.
Coat.
That's awesome.
Oh my gosh.

(01:17):
So it's so interesting, and I've been justdwelling on different types of new projects.
Do have a, I work with people in business, finances and yeah, all walks of life, whatever
it is.
I do have a course online called BizistasticThe Inside Course for Outside Results and that
is for all entrepreneurs from A to Z whereyou'll be able to give up the chase in the

(01:41):
hunt.
It is called the Chase Eliminator from a newperspective, an organic approach inside.
So if you really want to look at that, it iscalled ww w mastery for you, dot biz, and you
can really take a free tool away from thatright away so you can start using it in your
business.
Alright.

(02:02):
That's all I'm gonna say about me.
I I I do have a book out.
I do have I you know, so much talking about me.
I go, oh my goodness.
It's just to extend what I can share witheveryone.
I do have a book out called, Dagger Words.
And it's called it's the art of reflectivespeaking or communication, Wanda Harris and
Christina Duran, and the editor with me.

(02:23):
And, you'll be able to pick up some views aboutthat too, what that really means, a dagger
word.
So words you hear words, and they feel like adagger your heart.
So this book talks about illumination words.
So there we are.
I love
your play on words, how you just come up withthis.
And that's actually part of the title of yournew book, isn't it?

(02:43):
Yeah.
Well, that is for that book that's been out fora moment.
There is a new book that's coming out that Ican talk about once it's, you know, it's in the
process of being Okay.
Finished now, from confusion to peace, what, the pandemic taught us and still teaching us.
So that's a whole another.
I'll come back on for that one.
Alright.
Alright.
Look forward
to being there.

(03:04):
Yes.
So present moment, what brings me here todayalso is that, in the midst of all of, the
journey and connecting with others, I foundthat in social media, you know, people, when
they really try to put their business out orconnect with their business, you have so many
people on social media, which is so lovely.
We love that.
Yet I now have came up with another alternativemethod to add to the social media, you know, in

(03:28):
a sense.
And this is where I call it a business gala isa com a company that me and another partner
started off with where that company is aboutentrepreneurs and anybody in the arts can you
know, they they can really get out to thepublic and, you know, you know, being heard.

(03:50):
And we've came up with something I'm gonna bedoing called anthologies, and then we all know
what an anthology is.
Anthology is what you know, you have more thanone person in telling their story.
Right.
So I we decided to
The books behind me prove it.
Yes.
We decided to call, you know, creative voicesfor today.
Now that means that each category of artists, writers, photographers, dancers, I wanted to

(04:20):
capture everybody in each of these anthologies.
So I really give you I'll show you exactly whatone of the copies of the book would be.
In other words, it would be business galapresents ordinary extraordinaire photographers
and videographers.
So it would be with writers.

(04:41):
The name would change for writers.
The name would change for vegan chefs.
I forgot about chefs.
Career comeback moms.
So I wanted to create a book where eachcreative person is in the anthology.
So we'll have a book of 20 photographers intheir book, 20 career comeback moms, and in

(05:05):
that it gives each individual a chance to tellwho they are, know, their story.
You'll be able to have another connection withthe audience you want to reach, so therefore
these books would be ongoing and constantmovement because every time this book moves,
you're in it with 20 other people.

(05:26):
So it's really like an organic way ofpublicizing yourself at the same time and also
building community outreach for yourself.
Right.
Yeah.
So, it was something yeah.
The vision came to me, you know, at thebeginning of the year, and I said, okay.
Great.
So not that we we love social media.
This is just another alternative that otherscould be able to, you know, spread their voice.

(05:51):
And the greatest thing also, you'll be able tohave 20 people in there who is also really
moving it for you.
That's right.
That's right.
Yeah.
And I love that you have more than one book onthis.
You have one for photographers and videography, then you'll have a book for vegan chefs, which
my friend Maya would be really great on thatone.

(06:12):
Oh, I love that.
Writers.
And and, oh, I love it.
There's just so many things to do.
You're gonna have one for dancers.
So it's series of books that are coming.
Yeah.
And the comeback, which I love, I think, isphenomenal.
And I and I and I loved it.
Coming up.
Yeah.
And I loved it because I wanted extraordinaryordinary, and I wanted people who were just up

(06:36):
and rising.
It would it would give them a push, and youhave organic advertising all the way because,
you know, a book goes many places.
So, you know, you would yeah.
You would be your own independent book person.
If you wanna do a book signing and you wannacharge, that is your income.
Whatever it is, you are really entitled to yourown avenue.

(06:57):
So I wanted it based like that.
Yes.
So it would be an organic approach, you know,to jump in, and you'll be able to have an
outreach for yourself.
You'll be able to build credibility foryourself.
I have a few things I've written down.
You know, you'll be able to amplify your reachjust, you know, just as much, and you can

(07:18):
create a lasting impact because in the book, you'll be able to tell your story.
I have questions that you can answer, you know, and you're gonna have a section called
Expressathon where you could really saywhatever you want.
I wanted something like a heartfelt, connectionrather than, okay.
I see you on Instagram.
I, you know, I see who you are.
I wanted to build a kind of, connectedness nowso you'll know, okay.

(07:43):
If I pick up the Business Gala book onvideographers and photographers, I'm gonna look
and read each person's story, and I'm gonnaconnect to who I think I want on my project.
So
Nice.
Yeah.
So it it really I I I'm really looking for, youknow, authors is one too.
I can do that too.
Upcoming authors.
I I I forgot.
Authors, writers, dancers, photographers, videographers, career comeback moms.

(08:09):
So I'm starting off, you know you know, chefsand vegan chefs.
I'm starting off with those.
And, yes, I really wanted to build anotheralternative method just you know, so that would
be organically moving.
Like I said, every time that book moves, youhave 20 people in there.
They're gonna move their book.
You're gonna be in it.

(08:29):
Yeah.
I wanted something that was organicallyconstant movement, not something perhaps you
would be have to pay monthly to have anoutreach.
Once you're in this, you are just movingconstantly.
And yeah.
So it was really a fascinating, it's afascinating idea, and I really feel comfortable

(08:50):
with And I wanted to reach out for everybodywho really knows someone in that arena that
they could really assist on.
Hey, we can then have another avenue ofcamaraderie, of our business connection.
So I really feel good about that, Alice.

(09:11):
It's a it's a big job.
I know.
Yeah.
It it's a big job because I Yes.
Like I said, I had seven questions I want themto answer in their chapter, then they'll be
able to have, a section that's calledexpressathon where they can really speak
whatever they wanna speak.
So it's a thousand words in each, in eachchapter for each person.

(09:31):
So I think it will it will just gain so much, wow.
Even things I don't know, they can come out ofit.
You know?
They can really
You never know what's gonna happen once youstart writing a book.
I was just making a post on this earlier thisweek.
And, you know, from one book, I ended up goingto New York City.
From one book, I ended up traveling to DC.

(09:56):
You know?
You never know where the book's gonna take you.
My granddaughter from her book, she got to goto the Library of Congress in DC.
And Oh, wow.
Someone is taking her book to, I'm just gonnasay, a famous person that we all know whether
you like them or not, but for their family, forthe children to read.

(10:17):
And I thought, wow.
That's just amazing.
You just never know what's going to happen.
My my books, the giving book, the very firstbook, I had three authors in there, three
writers.
I'm gonna say it that way.
Is there a difference between a writer or anauthor?
Not that I've seen.
Because most people think of an author that'salready published and a writer or someone who's

(10:38):
still writing.
If if I'm different you know, if you believedifferent, let me know.
I love hearing your comments and your opinionson what you think of things.
But there were were three people who wrote inthe first one.
They were too afraid to write their own books,so this gave them a place to write like your
book is going to do.
It's gonna give them a place to have theirvoice heard and to test out what they like

(11:02):
about maybe see what the writing and publishingworld is about, which is really great.
But then they were in my second volume of thegiving book, and now they've all written their
own book and published it, which is justamazing.
So it's a great way for photographers, videographers, chefs Yes.

(11:24):
Chefs Etcetera.
Moms Yes.
To see if this is something that they enjoy, ifthis is something they really want to write
about.
And since it's only a little bit, you don'thave to come up with this huge novel.
You just have a little bit to write.
And I think that's wonderful because it doesgive you a way to have your voice be heard, to

(11:45):
let people know who you are and what you'reabout without having to go to this huge, huge,
massive production.
And you handle everything for everybody.
I love it that you have the seven questions setup, and and you're doing this this
expressathon.
That is fabulous.
I love the words you choose.
So where can people find this information at?

(12:09):
You can absolutely, connect with me at theemail for this project is called Business Gala
dot co, b u s I n e s s g a l a dot co dot c o.
That is the email for that, for that projectbecause I I really would love people to be a

(12:33):
part of this.
You know, whatever whatever arts are you, youknow, you're in, know, is not about sharing
your story, it's also not just about thatalone, but it's about making an impact in
reading and reaching beyond the current networkyou already have, you know, you'll be part of
something that's extraordinary.
We don't know where this can, you know, in factbe.

(12:53):
And it will really promote each person, toreally share their story, you know, along with
a more more greater movement.
You know?
You you really didn't didn't connect withpeople in the book that is does what you do.
And then you can probably say, hey.
Listen.
I have a network of everybody in here.
I'm gonna I'm gonna come on, do a Zoom or teachsomething I found out about photography.

(13:18):
Anybody wanna join me here?
Do you have a list of people?
So it it is you may find a new way ofphotography.
You may wanna, talk to your, your new aspiringother people that's coming along.
So it will really open your door for so manyother opportunities.
I always say don't just see, don't just look atthe vision right there, look beyond the vision,

(13:41):
you know.
Yes.
Yeah.
So it's, and I call it for ordinaryextraordinary because it is ordinary.
Each individual person is ordinary, but theyare extraordinary.
So I wanted Yeah.
The up and rising people to shine, you know, toreally glow in their oneness of who they are.

(14:01):
So basically Yeah.
So so it's it's, and it it is a project.
I gotta tell you.
I won't say it's not because, you know, rounding up everybody, and, you know, I'm
teaming up with people now to, send what it'sgoing to look like.
And like I said, the you know, you can reallybe you're your own independent author once it
comes out.
You can do whatever you you ever you'll be ableto sign an agreement.

(14:23):
You can do whatever you wanna do with yourbook.
As long as there's one thing you're gonna signthat you cannot do, you cannot change what
someone has written in the chapter.
That's right.
Because it's their voice.
Yes.
That's the only thing you you, you know, youjust won't be able to do, and that's, you know,
that's the form you would have to sign that.
And everything else, if you wanna do booksignings with your book, you know, whatever

(14:46):
independent money you make with yours, it'syours.
It is That is what it is.
You're your own independent everything.
So I think it's a way to really build momentumto get your name out there, to connect with
people beyond your reach, and you don't know.
Like I said, you don't know where that book isgoing to go or grow.
20 people are moving that book, and every timethat book moves, you're in it.

(15:09):
So
I love that.
I think it's And I love that that you explainedthat everybody's lifting each other up because
a
lot of
people think, oh, we're in competition witheach other.
And it's like, really not.
We're there to help lift each other up, to helpeach other grow.
We've got almost 9,000,000,000 people in theworld.

(15:29):
I think there's enough to go around forever.
Oh my goodness.
We don't
even wanna say how much
way to cooperate and to work together.
And and what is it that my friend Jose Escobaralways says?
A wave lifts all ships.
A wave just doesn't come through and lift oneship up to where it goes.
All the ships are lifted up, and that's whatwe're doing here, and it's what you're doing

(15:53):
here.
I get so excited getting involved in this, butI get it.
I get it with my giving books here.
Absolutely.
Every time one goes, you have all these amazingstories in it.
And maybe that one story you write is the onethat really resonates with somebody that it's
like turns that light bulb inside of them or orlights that fire in them that they've been

(16:17):
waiting for somebody to do because they didn'tknow how to do it themselves.
Or is that one story that that helps them getthrough the day that they didn't think they'd
be able to get through.
So I love what you're doing, and you'reexpressing art, and you're expressing, just a
part of who they are.
You're sharing they're sharing their value, andyou're giving them a way to do this.

(16:41):
And it shows that there is enough because, youknow, it it organically promotes a
connectedness because you're in there with 20other people.
So it's a it's a organic way of, outreachingpeople.
And someone says to me the other day, hey.
That's a big project.
You're gonna I said, I know.
I I I I I know it is.

(17:03):
Yet I'm going to be able to pull in otherpeople who wanna be interested and wanna be a
part of this because it's going to go somewherethat I don't see where it's going to go, I
know, ongoing.
That is the first vision of it.
So, yes, it's Business Gallup presentsordinary, extraordinary, whatever the title is,

(17:23):
writers, ordinary, extraordinary dancers, ordinary, extraordinary, come back career mom,
so it will be featured in that and I thinkit's, it was just one of the visions that
happened, you know, that came upon me in 2025,the beginning, and I started to set the stage
for it, and now I'm I want I wanna reallyattract not attract and really just line up the

(17:46):
people who really wanna be interested in beingpart of something like this.
Wonderful.
Yeah.
I appreciate it.
And
Definitely.
Oh.
Yeah.
And and it's so true that when you write abook, you really do start opening doors that
you didn't even know were there.
Yeah.
It's just amazing where it can take you.

(18:07):
I've met some of the most wonderful people thatI would never have gotten to meet if it wasn't
for my books.
Even locally here and regionally, I've got tomeet some people across across the whole world.
You know?
Gosh.
My very first anthology had, people from fromThe UK and from The Netherlands in it.

(18:34):
Who would have ever thought I'd get to knowanybody from there?
Now I'm I'm I tell you, I'm I'm coming up witha trip to go to The UK because I have so many
friends that I have made because of books.
Because of that.
Things like this.
You just never know.
And it doesn't if that scares you, just beassured that you don't have to be afraid

(18:58):
because it's only what you want to do.
Yes.
And the door will present itself.
And if you walk through it or not, that's up toyou.
But things will happen, and that's amazing.
Just amazing.
You know, like I said, I know social media isgreat too, but it's just so many people on it
at a time.
And you see people's work.

(19:19):
You you do people do get work from it, I I Isuppose.
Yes.
That's true.
But yet this is kind of like a heartfelt way, just an alternative to whatever you're doing.
Also, you might as well be part of organicallyeight you know, 20 people in turn to 80 people
seeing the book, a thousand people because, like I said, who knows where it's going to go?
Everybody is moving at the
same time,

(19:39):
and I want it I want it like a communityheartfelt connection, and that's what really
felt really right to me.
Yeah.
So that's when I'm there's my new venture rightthere that I have a you know, just being a part
of, waking up to it or, you know, beinginvolved in, and I really wanted to reach out

(20:01):
so people can, you know oh, you can e they canemail me too.
I have another email too.
You can I can do two emails?
I have one called Wanda@Mastery4u.biz.
That's Wanda, w a n d a, at you know, the atsymbol, mastery, m a s t e r y, or f o r u dot

(20:21):
biz, all one word, and either way they cancontact me for, you know, to let me know if you
would love to be part of something that is so,you know, I I don't even know.
It's just it's just gonna be so fascinating andjust to see where it's going to reach us or
take us.
So I'm very, very, just so glad to be a part ofanswering to this mission of what this appears

(20:45):
to be.
So I do appreciate that so much.
Yeah.
And I am so excited for you.
This is is really this is a big project you'vetaken on, but I know once you you start get
those wheels turning and things start going inmotion, it's just gonna keep playing out and
playing out, and I'm so excited for it.
So for every book you get done, you've got tocome back and let us know about it and tell us

(21:09):
how early to that book went.
I love will be.
I would definitely, you know, do that, and I soappreciate, you know, the listeners.
If you know anybody or yourself, you know, passit on because I know everybody has a story.
You know, I always said, do you have arevelation, a story, or, you know, or, you
know, a perspective you'd like to share?

(21:29):
You know, so here's the opportunity because youcan, you know, and I'll just say this.
One of the questions in the in the chapter willbe, what will you tell an inspiring individual
who's coming up, you know, coming up next?
So that's in everybody's that's that's one ofthe questions.
What would they tell it from their viewpointnow?
Because now they know something.

(21:49):
So that's one of the that's one of the answersI would.
That's one of the questions that would be.
I think that is incredible.
That's a great way to put it because becauseone, you're already giving value.
You're already sharing what you know, and nowyou're getting real pinpointed into something
specific.
It's like, I wish I would have known this whenI first started out.

(22:12):
It would have made things go a whole lotfaster, different, easier, whatever words you
wanna put into there.
And I think that is incredible.
What an amazing series.
I'm so glad you thought of this.
You know?
You never
an idea's gonna take you, let alone a book.
This is great.
Yeah.

(22:33):
Yeah.
And then, you know, just a little hint foranother I'm just gonna leave out one more
question so you people can hear it.
Alright.
Another another question would be, I I I ask, each individual person that's gonna be in each
chapter.
I asked them what advice would they givethemselves now looking back on where they are
now.
So that's two things.

(22:53):
No more than that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Can't give all your secrets away.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We get closer
to to.
To the to the launching the book, and thenwe'll get to a little more insights to it.
Yeah.
Then everybody would be able to can come backand share some of the people who have written,
which will be really fantastic.
But yeah.
So that is what this anthology series is about.

(23:14):
Absolutely.
It's about that.
And it will
feature all
the new upcoming extraordinaire people.
Yeah.
That's awesome.
Wanda, thank you so much for being here today.
Tell us again real quick how we can get aholdof you and find out more about this.
Okay.
You can email me at Business Gala dot co, b u sI n e s s g a l a dot c o.

(23:40):
And you can also email me at Wanda, w a n d a,at Mastery four u dot biz, m a s t e r y f o r
y o u dot biz.
All one word.
Mastery four u dot biz.
Yeah.
So and just so you know and then we just say,I'm interested in the anthology and just say
what your profession is, and I can just emailyou back.

(24:01):
And then you can get all the other information.
So it'd be so fantastic to have all the mastersin their art artistry to be a part of this.
Oh, that sounds great.
Well, keep us informed.
Let me know what's going on, and, you know,I'll put put it up on my my website on on I'll
put it on Facebook and LinkedIn for you and letpeople know what's gonna be there.

(24:24):
I am really excited about this project.
It's it's gonna be great to to watch theprocess happen.
So Appreciate that.
And I I and I'll say one thing before we close.
Sure.
Anybody that's listening, whatever art of fieldyou're in, you can even ask yourself now, you
know, during the day, you know, what advicewould I've telling myself today that I didn't

(24:46):
know before?
So, yeah, that that really will it's it justinspires something.
So leave that in your space.
Yeah.
That is that's great.
Thank you for being here, and thank youraudience for listening today or watching.
And be sure and get ahold of Wanda.
This is going to be something really fantastic, and I hope to see you in the book.

(25:06):
And thank you so much.
And remember, everyone is a master ofsomething.
Thank you so much.
That's right.
Thank you for joining us.
We'll see you next time on reading between thewords.
