Speaker 2 (00:28):
Welcome back to the
Ready Set Collaborate podcast
with Wanda Pearson.
It's your girl, wanda Pearson.
Here and today we're doingsomething a little different.
It's just me, and I want toreflect on what I have been
going through with this amazingjourney and having this podcast.
What I love about this isactually connecting with you,
connecting with our guests.
We had some incredible guestson here and I can't believe it's
(00:51):
been over a year since I'vebeen doing this podcast.
I just wanted to come back andreflect on some of the episodes
that we had.
All of them are great episodes, but can you believe how many
powerful conversations we've had, from entrepreneurs to authors?
And I am an author and I want totell you I am writing another
book.
My last book is God ScrapesThrough the Fire, from Struggle
(01:11):
to Triumph.
I'm going to talk about thatmore and my next, fourth book is
going to be about forgiveness.
That's the thing that westruggle with and what I went
through as far as my childhoodgrowing up with abuse and thank
God that got me out of that andto be able to do what I'm doing
today.
When someone tells you you'renothing, you're not going to be
anything, you have to believeGod is always with you, have
(01:34):
trust and faith in God and knowthat he will pull you out of any
situation.
And me, as a little girl, Ididn't have that confidence.
But now, as you can see, Ibuilt that confidence for being
on doing my podcast, writingthree books.
The last one is my book isGod's Grace Through the Fire,
from Struggle to Triumph.
And my first book was Audacityto Shine, which was something
(01:56):
that I said I would never writea book and I have to say that
seeing Nicole Henderson call meand say God told her to call me
to be part of that collaborationbook.
I love the title Audacity toShine.
And then my next book, collaboration book, was actually
the Impact of One Voice.
Aubrey Robinson had called meand asked me that I want to be
part of that book.
Never Say Never.
And that's actually the titlethat I have in that book Impact
(02:17):
of One Voice.
Never Say Never because God hasa plan for you and God's plan
for me was to write my own story, which is God's Great, through
the Fire, from Struggle toTriumph, and now he's pushed me
to do my fourth book.
Also, I'm excited to have beenthe top 20 author with the
author all-stars with TariyaAvant.
I'm grateful to do that.
I'm going to be in it again on25, 26.
I'm going to come back to youin September to say start voting
(02:40):
for Wanda Pearson.
I would love your vote, butthat's what we're talking about.
Like I said, going fromentrepreneurs to authors, to
nonprofit leaders, to communitybuilders, every single guest
brought their own special fireto this space.
I still get chills thinkingabout some of the stories that
were shared and the wisdom dropand the connection spark right
(03:02):
here on this podcast ConnectionSpark right here on this podcast
.
Make sure you follow and shareand also it's on YouTube and

any episode.
Every Wednesday I drop a newepisode and some of the guests
that's on here is just droppingnuggets as far as education,
(03:22):
empowering us to be able to goforward, and that's why I want
2025 to be a year that wereflect and we empower and do
better and be able to beconfident in whatever our
passion is to achieve in life.
It's been a journey of learning, growth and transformation for
all of us, and I want tohighlight a few episodes that
really stood out and left me andmany of you reflecting on just
(03:44):
how powerful collaboration andconnection can be.
My first one is ElevatingConnections with Evie Fleming.
Wow, wow.
Evie taught us the importanceof connecting to ourselves, both
physically and spiritually.
Her insight into reflexologyand yoga brought such healing
energy, reminding us that we'renot just not our minds, but our
bodies and spirits as well.
(04:05):
I love how she talked aboutaligning all parts of us to live
a harmony, and for anyonelooking to find balance in
practice, this episode was agame changer.
Make sure you reach out to EvieFleming.
She's on all social media.
My next one was transformingfinancial futures with Matt
Dillingham.
Now let me tell you about Matt.
From his military service tomastering credit and embracing
(04:30):
accountability, his journey tofinancial freedom was inspiring.
It was very inspiring because Ididn't realize he was in the
military, so he taught me a lotof things here.
Matt taught us thattransforming our financial
futures is not just aboutnumbers.
It's about mindset, and that isso true.
It's about mindset.
He helped us reframe how welook at money and how we take
(04:50):
control of our own financialhealth with confidence.
If you missed this one, Ihighly recommend you going back
and listening to it.
It was so powerful.
Reach out to Matt Dillingham, and then my other one that I had
recently and this is a recentpodcast is Empowering Personal
Transformation with Dr CalvinEllison.
Dr Ellison brought so muchwisdom and heart to the
(05:11):
conversation.
We dove deep into communityengagement, health and the
legacy we're each building.
He spoke about not just takingcare of ourselves, but leaving
the legacy that uplifts othersand stands the test of time.
His words reminded me of howimportant it is to build from a
(05:32):
place of purpose, and I know somany of you walked away with a
renewed sense of your ownpersonal power and mission.
Make sure you go back andlisten to Dr Calvin Ellison and
reach out to him.
These are just a few of thestandout moments, and I have so
many more episodes that you needto go back and look at, but
there have been so many morethat have touched me deeply and
I hope have touched you too.
(05:54):
It has truly been a space forgrowth.
We're here, we're out, we'rehere, we've been laughed.
We laughed, cried and had ourperspectives shifted.
Ready Set.
