When was the last time you asked yourself what might be blocking your manifestations? In this illuminating conversation with Lorina Christine we explore the often-overlooked connection between self-worth and manifestation success that transforms how you'll approach your desires forever.

Lorina Christine shares her powerful journey from corporate burnout and people-pleasing patterns to becoming a manifestation and mindset coach dedicated to helping ambitious women break through their mental barriers. After experiencing what she describes as a "near nervous breakdown" while climbing the corporate ladder in Toronto, Lorena made the radical decision to quit her job, book a one-way ticket to Australia, and completely reinvent her life. This pivotal moment became the catalyst for her spiritual awakening and healing journey.

What makes this conversation particularly valuable is Lorena's refreshing honesty about the misconceptions surrounding manifestation. While many popular resources focus solely on positive thinking,  Lorina Christine reveals the missing piece that prevents most people from manifesting their biggest desires: feeling worthy of receiving them. Having grown up with a narcissistic step-parent who severely damaged her sense of self-worth, she intimately understands how childhood conditioning creates subconscious blocks that sabotage manifestation efforts.

For entrepreneurs and ambitious women, Lorena shares a game-changing perspective—mindset isn't just a nice addition to your strategy; it constitutes about 80% of what determines your success. Her practical advice for both aspiring coaches and those beginning their manifestation journey offers clear direction without the spiritual bypass often found in manifestation teachings. She emphasizes that the spiritual path includes both light and darkness, and navigating the "dark night of the soul" requires self-compassion and community support.

Whether you're curious about manifestation practices, struggling with self-worth issues, or considering a professional pivot, this episode delivers actionable wisdom about aligning your energy, reclaiming your power, and truly believing you deserve everything you desire. As Lorena beautifully puts it, "rejection is redirection"—a reminder that the universe often has something even better planned when we surrender to the process.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Wow, tracy.
Thank you so much for having mehere.
I'm so excited.
That was such a beautiful intro.
I feel so honored to be herewith you today.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
All right.
Well, let's begin our journeytogether.
So I gave our listeners just alittle bit about you.
So tell us, tell us a littlebit about yourself.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yeah, well, I feel like you covered so much in the
intro there.
But, yeah, my name is Lorena.
I'm originally from Canada.
I'm living in the UK for thepast five years.
Love travel it's a big part ofmy lifestyle as well, also why I
really wanted to start my ownbusiness and inspire others to
live a life that they truly loveas well.
Because I used to be in thecorporate world, the nine to

(03:35):
five space, living a life thatjust really didn't feel aligned.
It felt like it was someoneelse's life essentially.
And, yeah, travel and thatfreedom has always been a really
important value to me, sothat's a big part of my life.
I actually just came back fromBali, which was really amazing.
It was nice to have spent thattwo months there.
And, yeah, I've got into thisline of work because, like I

(03:58):
said, I've gone through my ownjourney, which I know we'll I'm
sure we'll dive into throughoutthe podcast, and you know it was
really around.
Self-worth was always a big onefor me and through my own
journey of healing and personaldevelopment, I've been falling
into the manifestation and themindset and the personal
development and really was soinspired to help other women
because I just saw how powerfulit was and I never wanted

(04:21):
another woman to feel the waythat I felt at certain times in
my life and I never wantedanother woman to feel the way
that I felt at certain times inmy life.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I love it.
It's just wonderful to empowerothers and the way of empowering
others is to help shift thatenergy right.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
So when did this art of manifestation come into your
life?
Yeah, oh my gosh, so long ago.
I think the very first time itcame in, I think I was maybe
about 18.
And my mom had the book theSecret and I remember being like
this sounds interesting butalso very far-fetched.
And I remember reading littlebits of it but didn't think too
much of it and I was like, okay, well, that sounds cool.
You know like think positivethoughts and it will happen.

(05:00):
But it wasn't until a few yearslater where I came across Gabby
Bernstein.
I'm sure a lot of yourlisteners are familiar with
Gabby.
She's like the sort of like thegateway I feel like sometimes
into manifestation, personaldevelopment.
And yeah, I remember readingher book Spirit Junkie and it
just really resonated with meand I was so interested in this
concept of manifestation andthat was sort of really that

(05:23):
gateway into the personaldevelopment world and that's
kind of where it started and Iwas really manifesting some
incredible things in my lifethroughout that year.
So I would say that was when Iwas about 25.
So I don't want to age myselfhere, but we're going back about
13 years now.
So, yeah, and you know, but Iwas always really missing a key
part of manifestation, because alot of the new age spirituality

(05:47):
, including books like theSecret, really talk about just
think positive thoughts, likealign your energy, and they miss
a key point that we reallymanifest from our beliefs and
what we feel worthy of having, and being someone who struggled
with self-worth, that was areally big block that I've had
to work to overcome.
I was manifesting things, but Iwasn't really getting the

(06:10):
bigger manifestations comingthrough and I was really blocked
in a lot of areas and the truthwas I didn't feel deserving of
having them.
So that's really been a keycomponent into the work that I
do, cause when I was able toreally dive deeper, that's when
I started manifesting reallyincredible things.
It really took that to a wholenew level as well.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
So when did you discover your own soul purpose?
Was there a radical shift thathappened that maybe was the
catalyst for your redirection?

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Yes, definitely.
So.
My journey has been nonlinear,as most of ours are.
I had a God I would call itlike a near nervous breakdown in
2016.
You know, I say I was workingin a in the nine to five
corporate world, whichabsolutely nothing wrong with
that If that's what people wantto do not shaming that in any
way but it was just the job thatI was doing and the lifestyle I

(07:00):
was living was just so out ofalignment for me and I felt like
I was climbing the corporateladder trying to do everything
right.
I was living in Toronto.
I call it like the sex in thecity Canadian version.
You know, on the outside, everything looked great and I
just was so unhappy on theinside and I was striving for
this role in events planning andI was working really crazy
hours, like sometimes 15-hourdays, and I just remember at the

(07:26):
time the promotion I was goingfor got taken away.
It was budget cuts and my roleactually got demoted and I just
felt so lost.
I just I kind of hit a wall andI just think I just was so
burnt out and I just felt like Ihad a breakdown.
I was like something needs tochange.
This is it.
I was so unhappy.
So basically I decided I was 30at the time and it was the last
year that I could go toAustralia on the working holiday

(07:47):
visa and I thought, you knowwhat, now it's now or never like
I'm going to miss thisopportunity and I just I gave my
job a three month notice, Iwalked in, I quit, I booked a
one-way ticket to Australia andthat was really the catalyst of
living life for myself, decidingyou know what I'm going to stop

(08:08):
with the people pleasing, stopliving for someone else's vision
.
What do I want?
You know, it was really thatwake up call and ever since then
I've never looked back and thatwas like the start of the
traveling and the living abroadand you know that really started
my personal development journeyeven more, manifesting even
more, and that was sort of thestart of that journey to getting
getting me where I am today.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, you were unleashing your radiance.
That's how exactly, exactlyexactly.
So you're out helping, empowering women for their
highest self.
As you've gone through andyou've been navigating what is a
common misconception about amanifestation and mindset coach.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yeah.
So, like I was saying, I thinkthe big misconception a lot of
people miss is that we reallymanifest from what we feel
worthy of having and callinginto our life and our beliefs,
right.
So our subconscious mind isrunning on autopilot and that is
, you know, very much shapedfrom the ages of zero to seven,
and we might not consciouslyrealize, but our actions, how we

(09:05):
show up, the stories we'retelling ourself, are all based
on our subconscious beliefs.
So if those are not inalignment with what it is you're
looking to manifest this nextlevel of life, right, because
we're often manifestingsomething that feels really
maybe far away, it's exciting,it's something bigger than we're
currently living.
But if we haven't, you know, work to condition ourselves to

(09:26):
manifest it, to hold it, to callit in, then it's going to be
blocked.
So that's really where I thinkespecially.
I see a lot with I work a lotwith female entrepreneurs and a
lot of entrepreneurs are.
So what's the next strategy?
What's the next strategy?
Where, like mindset, is yourstrategy right?
Mindset as well as energy work, like priming your energy for

(09:49):
showing up, leaning intoabundance, what's available to
you, moving away from lack, likeall of these things really are
80% of the strategy, right.
The other 20% of the actualbusiness strategy is what's
going to help you.
But that's really amisconception.
A lot of people don'tprioritize the mindset work as
much.
But it all, it all coincidestogether, right.

(10:09):
It's like this beautiful, thisbeautiful concoction of, like
the energy, the embodiment, themindset, the action, in that
sense as well.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Beautiful.
So, as you were out helpingothers, coaching entrepreneurs
with all of their challengesalong their health healing
journey, what has been achallenge, or rather struggle,
you have faced in your ownhealing journey?

Speaker 3 (10:45):
up with a narcissistic step-parent for a
very big part of my life.
Kind of classic my parentsdivorced when I was young,
didn't have kind of the fatherfigure around and then insert
narcissistic stepfather and thatreally really played a huge
impact.
If listeners are familiar withnarcissists, they can really
really deplete your self-worth,make you feel like you're not
good enough.
Your self-worth, you know, makeyou feel like you're not good
enough.

(11:05):
And that really led into how Ishowed up in my adult years as
well.
You know people pleasing, seeking external validation, and
that majorly showed up a lot incareer, but also in
entrepreneurship, becauseentrepreneurship is like one of
the biggest healing journeys youwill go on.
I feel like you're faced withevery single limiting belief,
rejection.
You know you're, you're showingyourself to the world, You're

(11:27):
fully being seen, you're, you'rebeing vulnerable.
So all of these things come upand that's why the healing and
doing the inner work is soimportant for success and
entrepreneurship.
And for me, that was something Ireally had to work through, was
really seeking that validationthrough myself, through my own
worth and because of thatjourney.
That's really where so much ofmy passion lies in helping women
do that, Because as women aswell, you know, we're taught not

(11:50):
to be too much, not to be tooseen.
You know, don't speak yourtruth so much and that really
holds us in the people, please, and all these things where I was
just so fed up with it andthrough that that led me to like
an eating disorder as well whenI was in my early twenties and
this control and overcoming thatreally was the catalyst for

(12:11):
wanting to help women in thiscapacity.
It used to actually be.
I wanted to be a health coach, like years ago, but it sort of
transitioned into like thismindset, life coach, lifestyle
design, manifestation, wellbeing, like really this mixing it all
together.
So, like I said, a lot of womendon't feel worthy of having
their desire, whether that'smoney, if you're manifesting

(12:31):
money, there's a lot of blocksaround that, feeling guilty
about that, shame around that, feel deserving of the love they
want, right, Having this likeincredible loving relationship,
especially if they maybe neverhad the, seeing that it was
possible or available for them, and really the success really
helping women just claim whatthey want, step fully into it,

(12:52):
Because I truly believe as well, especially in the world we're
living in, the more conscious, incredibly talented women, the
more success they have, the moremoney they have, the more good
they can do in the world as well.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Absolutely, absolutely so.
As you're on this journey foryourself, you've detoured into
different paths and you'recontinuing on the journey.
When you stand back and youlook at your life, what is one
thing you wish your younger selfknew about manifesting and
unleashing your radiance?

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Yeah that it's safe to do so.
Like that it's okay, because Ithink there's just this wall
that can be up sometimes aroundthe safety of like, yes, I can
have it, it's okay for me tohave it right and that would be
it.
It's like it's okay to stepbeyond that line and there's
safety in that, because that'swhere you're shining and really

(13:46):
giving them permission that it'sokay and that they don't need
to be scared or worry aboutfailure or like that's if it
feels good, if you can envisionit, if you can dream it, it's
because it's meant for you.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Beautiful.
Now, when it's time for you toget in like an energetic tune up
or to work with the spiritualcoach or coach.
What are some qualities thatyou look for in that spiritual
healer or coach?

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Yeah, definitely, if they're embodied in the work
that they do, that is mostimportant and if they're living
the life that I am looking tostrive to achieve.
You know, if, if someone's likeconstantly hustling and they're
just behind their computer allthe time, not having a quality
of life, I don't want that Like.
I want someone who is likereally lit up, passionate about
what they did, fulfilled um andconnection.
That's.
That's always a big one as well.

(14:33):
Right, they don't necessarilyneed to be like maybe have made
the most amount of money intheir business, but like if the
connections there and they'rereally good and passionate and
driven with their work, thenthat's going to be the biggest
one.
And yeah, when it comes toenergy, I think like values
being connected as well.
I've worked with a few differentenergy coaches before.
You know I have had Reiki donemyself.

(14:53):
I've had really incredible, actually, a friend of mine.
She did a shamanic drummingsession Reiki mixed together
around, opening up more into myfeminine as well, because I was
very, very closed off in mymasculine energy.
My heart was very closed.
So that was a very, reallybeautiful experience as well.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Wonderful.
So what advice would you givesomeone who is someone who is
just entering this profession ofmanifestation with coaching?

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah, so sorry to be someone who's like just starting
on their manifestation journeyor someone who's starting as a
manifestation coach.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
I would say you can actually do both.
So one who is a coach whatadvice would you give someone
who's listening to this andsaying, yes, this is who I am.
I want to help, you know, support ambitious female leaders
to manifest their desires.
So what is some advice wouldyou give someone?

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Yeah, I would say, like, just go for it, because I
think so often all theselimiting beliefs of why it's not
going to work out, or I'm notgood enough, or imposter
syndrome, or I don't know enough, that's a big one around, like
newbie coaches as well.
It's just trusting that, likeyou are on the right path and
just go for it.
Show up you know with, becausewhen you have that passion and

(16:05):
that drive, that's really whereyour story is going to resonate
with others.
And one thing I always say topeople it was something I heard
a long time ago and I can'tremember who said it, otherwise
I would give them that creditbut it was by you not sharing
your story you're actually beingselfish, because there are
people out there, there areclients out there, who need to
hear your story, who need yourservices because you can help

(16:26):
change their life.
And by you feeling like you'rescared or not good enough to
show up, like you're reallyholding that back and is that
something you want to be doing?
Because if you're in service, absolutely no right.
So when you reframe that, I waslike oh my gosh, okay, yeah,
it's sort of it takes away thatcharge of like that.
Oh my gosh.
Okay, yeah, it's sort of ittakes away that charge of like
that.
Oh my gosh, what are peoplegoing to think about me?
Or do I know enough?
And yeah, it's just and alwaysremembering, like when you're

(16:53):
helping someone, like you reallyonly need to be one step ahead
of where they are now, like ifyou've gotten the result and you
know how to get that personfrom A to B then that's your
client and as you grow, you'llgrow and you know you'll start
working with different clients,in different areas potentially.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
But like just start, very good, now for someone
advice who's just startingspiritual work or manifestation.
What advice would you give themto step?

Speaker 3 (17:16):
into their worth.
Yeah, definitely like beingeasy with yourself, because I
think you know a lot ofspirituality the way it's
portrayed.
It's all this like light allthe time but like it is dark at
times, like I know um, you know, going through the, the dark
night of the soul, for instance, and like when that goes through
, like I personally I quitdrinking um over a year ago but

(17:37):
I, when I first started doing mysober curious journey, all the
resistance came up.
There was so much that I hadbeen bearing down and hiding and
I went through so much darknessand shadows and inner work.
But there was so much light onthe other side and if you are
going through that, it can feellonely, it can feel scary, it
can feel daunting and like yousort of question your existence

(17:59):
and everything about you, right, but it's like trusting that
process and that it will comeout on the other side and being
kind with yourself, showingyourself compassion and really
just following your heart andfind community, like don't
completely go alone.
I think I hit a little too longduring part of my journey and
you know I think it's.
We need connection andcommunity as well.

(18:19):
Yeah, so with finding yourworth, it's really like set
those standards for yourself, like what do you want from your
life, what do you want from yourrelationships?
Getting super clear on what itis you want, looking at where
you're not in alignment withthat now, where your belief set
of alignment.
How do you view yourself?
What do you feel worthy ofalready having?
How can you bridge that gap?

(18:39):
So that's going to be likestarting to build self-trust,
showing up for yourself, settinghigh standards for yourself
right and sticking to them andsetting high standards for the
people you're welcoming in yourlife as well.
And, yeah, really looking, getting clarity on what that
vision is.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yeah, and it's really in a sense shifting the energy,
so to speak, because that'swhere your focus is, where your
focus is, where attention is.
That's where the energy goesand just shifting things in a
way where you have a clearerpath, a clearer vision and
changing that mindset.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Yeah, exactly, Energy flows where attention goes
right.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Right, absolutely.
So what books do you recommend?
Maybe there's been books alongyour journey that have inspired
you, or books that you recommendto your clients.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Yeah, I would say one book that I'm actually reading
again right now.
I absolutely love it's Secretsof a Millionaire Mindset.
It's such an amazing bookbecause it really does help.
You know, a lot of peoplestruggle with money mindset,
especially if they're trying tomanifest more financial
abundance, and money is alsovery much linked with, like,
self-worth and also love as well, so again, it's going to that

(19:47):
worth.
So, yeah, seekers of aMillionaire Mindset is really
about adopting an abundant, wealthy mindset, so that is an
excellent book to read I highlyrecommend.
I always love Spirit Junkie.
That was one of my first introbooks, so it's really great.
I love Gabby Bernstein.
Her books are incredible.
And another one I really loveis it's everything is
figureoutable by Marie Forleo.

(20:08):
That's a great book as well, especially for, like, that new
entrepreneurship journey andit's really just getting into
the mindset that, like you know,so many things happen hiccups
happen, challenges happen butyou can figure it out.
So it's really from that growth, so with the manifesting as
well it's your intention, right.

(20:44):
It's the mindset.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
It's being open right .
It's about surrendering attimes.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Definitely.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
So what other services do you offer?
Do you offer classes, trainings, events?

Speaker 3 (20:59):
Yeah, oh my gosh, I do quite a bit.
I do.
Yeah, I do a lot of onlinemasterclasses.
I've got some paid workshopsthat you can do on well as well.
That are, you know, digitalproducts and courses.
I also offer a mindset.
It's my signature mindset andmanifestation program, which is
an eight week journey calledelevation, and it's really about
that whole holistic journeyfrom clarity on your vision,

(21:22):
mindset, mindset overcoming yourlimiting beliefs, working with
your energy, embodying thatversion of you so you can really
start to achieve your goals.
Um, so it's not just amanifestation course, it goes
quite a bit deeper into that aswell.
Um, and yeah, I also have thatas a self-led version.
So if someone is maybe not, youknow, up for like, doing a
group live session, the timing'snot right, the investment's not
right.
There's also's also a self ledversion of that as well.

(21:44):
And yeah, I do one to onecoaching and host retreats as
well, which is really incredible.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Beautiful.
So where can someone find youif they want to reach out and
schedule, you know, a sessionwith you or reach out to one of
your programs?

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Yeah, amazing.
I tend to spend a lot of timeon Instagram.
That's where you'll find me themost.
It's at Lorena dot Christine.
I can drop that for you in theshow notes as well.
And, yeah, you can find me onmy podcast as well, the Unleash
your Radiance podcast.
That's really where I alsospend a lot of my other time.
Or you can join my newsletteras well.
I love to send out very longmonthly newsletters.

(22:22):
I'm much more of a long formcontent gal, so an Instagram.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Very good, all right.
Well, that ends our first partof our journey together, and I'm
going to continue to guide youinto the next part, which is
three social media questionsfrom listeners and energy
students.
So let's begin.
So, number one I am interestedin your self-study program.
Can you share about yourElevation Self-Study Program?

Speaker 3 (22:50):
Yes, absolutely.
So that is, yeah, the signaturemindset manifestation and
confidence course, which is aeight week journey taking you
through a whole holisticapproach, from gaining clarity
on your bigger vision, what youwant your life to look like,
that's going to be really trulyin alignment for you.
Then we work to uncover thoselimiting blocks and any

(23:10):
resistance that's holding youback so you can step forward,
take action towards your goals, feeling like the most confident,
empowered version of yourself.
And we work as well with theidentity shifting, the
self-concept work so you canreally step into that version of
you who is manifesting outtheir wildest vision, their
vision board as well.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Oh, sounds very, you know, detailed and perfect for
someone who really wants to takeit to that next level,
Wonderful.
So question number two I sawthat you offer a three to six
month coaching container.
Can you tell me about Radiant U, your three or six month
coaching container?

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Yeah, absolutely.
So that is my high touchone-to-one coaching offer.
That is for the ambitiousfemale leader who is really
ready to step into that nextlevel of her life and her career
and her business as well, looking to unblock any limiting
beliefs, do the inner healingwork as well, do the shadow work
, and really is so tired ofplaying small and she's just

(24:09):
truly ready to get to that nextlevel and achieve her biggest
goals as well.
So that's a whole journey.
Again, I work a lot on aholistic level, so work with the
mindset, the energetics and theembodiment portion.
So we take this through this, what I call my inner radiance
framework.
So it's a whole holisticapproach to really helping you
become your most embodied self.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Beautiful.
And our third question is iswhat inspired you to create the
podcast?
Unleash your Radiance.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Oh gosh, I love podcasts.
I absolutely love podcasts.
They have been so amazing on myown healing journey.
It's such a great place to feellike you get to know someone,
you connect with someone, youcan have such inspiring
conversations and I also went toschool for journalism, actually
, so I have I love to talk.
I'm a Gemini, I love to talkbig on communication and, yeah,

(24:59):
I just wanted to have a platformwhere you know people could get
so much more in depth, Cause, like I said, I feel like you
can't have everything you wantto say in an Instagram post or a
quick email, but podcasts arejust such a way for you to
really get to know and reallyprovide that value and support.
You know like one podcastepisode could completely change
someone's life.
It's amazing.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Absolutely.
Where can we find your podcast?
And where again can we findyour classes and trainings?

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Yeah, so that'll be on my website at
LorenaChristinecom.
I've got all the differentworkshops on there.
There's one around abundanceclarity, the Mindset
Manifestation Program as well, and then, yeah, my podcast is
available on Spotify, Applewherever you're listening to
podcasts, and it's just atUnleash your Radiance.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
Beautiful.
Now, that is our last questionand, as we've been talking, is
there something that you mighthave forgotten to share,
something you like to add orsomething you really have
forgotten to share, somethingyou like to add or something you
really feel called to sharewith our listeners?
You can take this time now.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
Amazing.
Yeah, I've got actually a freeabundance affirmations track
that I'll leave a link for yourlisteners to download.
It's incredible.
It really helps to rewire yourmindset for more abundance.
Move away from that lack orscarcity, because I'm really all
about, yeah, listeners havingmore abundance in their lives as
well.
And my other piece of advicewould just be just keep going

(26:19):
like really leaning into trustand surrender, because
manifestation is not all youknow, it's really a way of being
and living.
It's part of, like I said, theway of living and, yeah, there
are times, the duality of lifeand really leaning into trust
and abundance on the hard daysas well, and just enjoying the
process.
You know, get creative, dreambig, dream big.

(26:40):
I know that rejection isredirection.
That's one of my absolutefavorite things.
This or something better.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Yes, absolutely Absolutely.
So this just gives ourlisteners just a little bit of
variety here on the healing path.
Knowing that you know, beyondReiki, this is also available
too, you know.
So, Lorena, you know, helpsthese clients to unblock their
limiting beliefs and help thoserelationships and build inner

(27:06):
focus.
And having your alignment withyour purpose, passion and joy,
and bringing this abundance inall areas, you know, without
that burnout.
So what a wonderful offeringthat you're giving to so many
people to help them elevate, especially, you know, particular
women and entrepreneurs withthat.
So thank you so much for all ofyour work.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Thank you so much for having me, Tracy.
It was an absolute pleasure tobe a guest on your podcast and
chatting with you.
I really enjoyed it.
