Tyler Gines' journey from corporate success to spiritual transformation reveals how life's greatest challenges can unlock our deepest gifts. Once the youngest sales leader and most sought-after escrow officer in Utah, Tyler had achieved the American dream by age 27 – six-figure income, dream homes, luxury cars – yet something was clearly missing.

The universe has mysterious ways of guiding us toward our true path. For Tyler, it began with an owl hooting in the middle of a city and a green orb appearing in a photograph – what he would later learn was a portal to the spiritual realm and one of his spiritual guides. But the catalyst that cracked his heart wide open was the unexpected loss of his beloved French bulldog. This profound grief led him to Byron Bay, Australia, a place of deep spiritual wisdom, where through breathwork he processed his pain and discovered his readiness for Reiki.

"I'm a firm believer that we're not really learning a new skill, we're remembering what we've had in the past," Tyler shares, describing how his spiritual gifts unfolded not as new acquisitions but as homecoming to his true nature. This philosophy fueled his rapid expansion into multiple healing modalities – becoming a Reiki master teacher in Usui, Tibetan, and Holy Fire lineages, an animal communicator, a hypnotherapist, and more.

Through his work with leaders and visionaries, Tyler bridges ancient wisdom with modern transformation techniques. He challenges common misconceptions about intuitive healing, particularly the false dichotomy between spirituality and religion. "Spirituality and religion are two different things," he explains. "You can be spiritual and religious – it really just depends on your definition."

Tyler's approach to life embodies what he playfully calls "bougie, but make it spiritual" – the belief that abundance and spirituality can beautifully coexist. Through his animal communication practice (which he brands as "The Louis Vuitton of animal communication"), Reiki sessions, NLP training, and upcoming program teaching people to reconnect with their psychic gifts, Tyler creates spaces for others to remember who they truly are.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Thank you so much for having me, tracy.
I'm excited to be here, andthank you everyone for who's
listening.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Wonderful, so I cannot wait to begin our journey
here and to find out more aboutyou so right before our going
live here.
We talked about, and we seem tohave a lot of things in common,
so I can't wait.
So, tyler, tell us a little bitabout yourself.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yes, absolutely so.
My name is Tyler.
I was born and raised in SaltLake City, utah, and currently
reside here, and in 2019, I kindof started to discover that I
wanted more in my life.
I was working in corporate, Iwas the youngest sales leader
and I was the most sought-afterescrow officer here in Utah.

(01:32):
By the time I was 22, I hadcleared six figures.
And then I had also nowpurchased three dream homes by
the time I was 27.
Sorry, not 23.
I wish I was 23 or 27,.
Sorry, not 23.
I wish I was 23, 27.
And then I had actually drivenall three of my dream cars by
that age as well, and the lastone had been it's paid off and

(01:55):
it's been my favorite car sinceI bought it, obviously because
it was a dream.
In 2020, obviously the worldshut down and we were all kind
of forced to go inside and kindof start to learn how to get
uncomfortable with or sit in thediscomfort and be comfortable
with it.
I didn't know really what waspreparing, and in 2020, my

(02:16):
friend was like, hey, let's do75 hard.
So I was like, okay, I'm inCool, great, whatever.
And on one of my walks I wasoutside, in the middle of a city
and there was an owl hooting atme.
I've never seen an owl in themiddle of a city that way, and
so I grabbed my phone and I takea picture and there's this

(02:36):
giant green orb and I was like,oh, this must be like something
really cool.
Of course I didn't know whatwas going on at that point, but
I was like, oh, it's a sign,because everything's a sign.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Of course.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
And I was like, okay, cool, great.
So I looked up like what an owlmeant.
And then the green orb.
And the green orb was a portalinto the spiritual realm and I
was like, okay, and then I endedup doing like a card reading
with somebody I wish she stilldid readings because she was so
good and she actually told me anowl is one of my guides.
So then, fast forward to 2021and I'm out of town for a

(03:15):
weekend and I had rescued twodogs in 2019.
They were French bulldogs, threw them on my vision board.
I was like cool, this is goingto happen, ended up with two of
them two weeks later that I hadrescued.
And so in 2021, after I had donethis um 75 hard, about six to

(03:36):
eight months later, I was out oftown and one of my dogs was hit
and killed by a car and I waslike, okay, so that cracked open
a whole new level of what inthe world is happening.
And so I had to sit in thatdiscomfort once again after the
world.
I had just started to get backto normal, feeling normal after
being like closed in, and inthat moment, obviously, my heart

(04:00):
was like torn apart and I waslike, okay, so then fast forward
a little bit further, intoFebruary of 2022, I get an email
from Delta saying, hey, australia is open for visitors.
Now I don't know if anybody'sever been to Australia, but
Australia holds some prettyspiritual wisdom in this.

(04:21):
And then I don't know if theycall them States or cities.
It's a city to me, but ByronBay, okay, and beforehand I had
actually I was like, oh, I needto go register and take a Reiki
course.
So I mentioned it to one of myreal estate clients.
Sure enough, of course, everything lines up and I'm
enrolled in a Reiki course and Iwas supposed to do it before I

(04:42):
went to Australia.
Old in a Reiki course, and I wassupposed to do it before I went
to Australia.
Well, my Reiki master broke herfoot.
I was like what in the world?
So I was like, okay, so I go toAustralia.
I find that in Byron Bay, as Iprocess my dog's passing and the
grief through breath work inByron Bay, the most spiritual

(05:02):
place at that point for me and Irealized, oh, I had to go
through this process first toactually understand the energy
of Reiki.
So then I got home andliterally like a week or two
later I was in the Reiki course, becoming a Reiki practitioner
of one and two, and I was like,oh my gosh, this is incredible,

(05:23):
and I'm a firm believer thatwe're not really learning a new
skill, we're remembering thatwe've had in the past, right.
So it was just really cool tolike reconnect with that.
And then, since I've now becomea Reiki master teacher, I have
those 14, actually there's 15coaching certifications.
Now I just got another one.

(05:43):
If I, I probably need acertificate from the universe
that says no more certificates.
I am certified to work withpeople with ptsd, addiction and
trauma.
Over 500 hours of training wowit has been a journey since,
obviously my dog and now holdingactually four, um, or I've got

(06:08):
two, or I've got the reiki oneand two placements for yosui,
tibetan, plus the three andmaster.
I also have, yes, uh, yosuiholy fire one and two, and then
also just recently attuned toyosui holy fire three and master
beautiful.
So I have lots of energyflowing through my hands.
But for me, reiki was almostlike a gateway drug that's the

(06:31):
best way to describe thisBecause, like you said before,
it's almost like a launching padthat you land on and that
launching pad for me it openedup so many different portals and
like these little rabbit holesthat you can go down.
Now I'm fully initiated in huna, which is an ancient hawaiian

(06:54):
energy.
I'm an animal communicator, which that that's a story in of
itself and how that likeactually unlocked.
But when we truly stand in ouressence and our own power and
drop the masks of who we thinkwe should be, it's like a whole
new world.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Yeah, it's beautiful, isn't it?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
It's so beautiful.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Well, first of all, I'm sorry for the loss of your
dog.
That's always an upsettingthing, I mean.
Our pets are our family, I mean.
But how beautiful that you turnthat into going and being of
service for others.
But I always kind of look, asReiki is.
You know, you're climbing upthose steps, those ladder, to
the high dive right and you'relooking down at the water and

(07:37):
Reiki is giving you that littlenudge, that little bit of
courage to just dive off, toland in that pool and just have
an amazing adventure and justenjoy being in the water.
So so many opportunities outthere that it can lead to.
So if you go and explore Reikiand it's just not your just
right, keep going.
There's so many differentsystems out there, as you had

(07:59):
mentioned as well.
You know Tibetan and Holy Fireand you might feel that just
right energy for you.
And it's so subjective too, because you and I could take the
same course, right, and you'relike this is amazing and I'm
like I don't feel anything.
What are you talking about?
You're levitating, yep, oh, mygoodness, so intuitive healing.

(08:25):
When did this intuitive healingcome into your life?
Did you find it or did it findyou?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
I would say it probably found me.
I kind of had dabbled in likeintuitiveness, like I remember
going and getting my first tarotreading before I turned 21.
And I was like, oh, this iscool.
And then I found myself kind oflike, yeah, whatever.
And then obviously findingcrystal shops and going in.

(08:51):
And then I was like, okay,we're done playing in the
crystal realm.
And then I go back to the tarotreader and then I'm like, okay.
So then it kind of all of asudden start.
I'm like looking back, I'mthinking there.
Really I think I've had it fora really long time.
Um, I remember as a kid I wouldrun up the stairs from my
grandma and grandpa's basementbecause there were people that

(09:14):
were trying to get me, because Ithink they were curious that
they knew I could see them.
Yeah Well, that scared theliving hell out of me.
I was like, nope, not doing it.
And so now, like thoseintuitive nudges like hey, come
on, come back to who you are, come back to who you are, you
know this.
So I don't know if I'd say if Ifound it or if they found me.

(09:35):
I feel like it's always beenwithin me, it's I've just had to
go in and rediscover who I amRight, and in that power.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Right.
And then you have thatculturally created self that
society puts on you.
I remember when I was veryyoung and I went to like my
first tarot reading, I felt likeI was committing like a moral
sin, right.
It was like, oh my goodness, wedon't want anybody to find this
out.
And I went to someone also whowas a palm reader and I was like
didn't want to tell anybody, you know.

(10:04):
And then now it's like, ah,it's all good.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Totally.
I remember as a kid, drivingdown the street from my
grandma's house to my house welived relatively close and
there's a building and it'scalled psychic advisors and I
asked I remember asking my dadwhat's a psychic?
As if I didn't already know.
But in this age I'm curious.
I'm like, okay, like what isthis?

(10:28):
And when he's like, oh, that'speople who, like, see the future
.
We don't really go see them, because I grew up in a religion
that is very much against havinggifts and being psychic and
seeing and feeling and hearingand knowing and trusting
yourself primarily.
And so I remember asking himand he told me obviously now I'm

(10:51):
really stepping back into, because I was like I knew what
that was, I just didn't know howto like explain it, cause,
again, it's, we're rememberingeverything that we it's not ever
learning something new, it'sremembering.
So, at that space, coming backinto the earth after who knows
how many lifetimes, I was like,oh, okay, I think I can, I can

(11:12):
jive with that and so, yeah, just having that, those little
moments.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Yeah, I remember like Saturdays my mom would wake me
up very early and I wanted tostay home and watch cartoons
because we didn't have all thechannels that we have now Right
and go into the drive to themall and she would go into a
bookstore and she would go rightoff to that Christian section
and I would go into theastrology and she'd get really

(11:41):
upset, like don't, you're notsupposed to get out of here.
And she'd find me looking atthese books and I was just so
curious, and even as a kid, whenI think back, you know we
called them the cootie catchers.
You know the little thingswhere you pick the color, you
know the number and then themagic eight ball Like oh, you're

(12:02):
gonna, you're gonna marry thisguy, you know, and have three
children in the suburbs.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Yes, I and mash like I don't know if you ever really
did mash, but it was mansionapartment, um shack or hut, and
then you'd write like four namesdown and then yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Did the little columns?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
like that way.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Oh, I forgot all about those, those, but yes, I
could never make them, but I doremember those yeah, I remember
I was like a pro at it, so I wasthe one in the class that I
would just here we go like colorit and put the things on.
Yeah, I love that there weresigns there were definitely
signs how did we?

(12:45):
miss the side, I don't knowRight right.
And then also when you saidabout how like things would
follow you in the home, it mademe flashback to when I was
little.
I would see like I guess spiritdogs, and I guess my
grandparents were like I thoughtI was talking to dogs and they
just thought like I wanted a dog.

(13:05):
But I, you know, today I havelike six Cavalier King Charles.
I've always had these dogsaround me for the last 12 years.
But as a little kid I had thesedogs and this is really going
to age me.
I guess they had some type oflike leash that kind of was hard
, that you can imagine.
You had a dog, it was some typeof play one and they bought me

(13:27):
one of those and like, go walkyour imaginary dog, tracy.
And of course, here I am,because it was this stiff type
of leash that had a little thingfor like the harness for the
dog and so, yeah, and theybought me one of those.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
So that brings up so many memories for me.
As you say that I'm sittinghere, I'm like, oh my gosh, I
remember I would put in a bowlkicks, the cereal kicks in a
bowl and a water dish.
So I actually just did a socialmedia post about this because,
obviously, the animalcommunication and like sharing
my sessions.
But I remember there was thisone time when I was like in

(14:07):
kindergarten and the chickenswere so cool and watching them
hatch and being a part of that, well, I tried to hatch a
refrigerator egg and that thekey word.
That doesn't work.
And then I so, after I did that, I was like, okay, I could
never have animals that weren'tin a cage.

(14:27):
They all had to be fish or theyhad to be hermit crabs.
I could never have dogs, but Itoo had imaginary dogs.
I also had imaginary kids andmy imagination.
So thank you for bringing thatmemory back up.
Like that was so fun toreminisce that.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Isn't that funny?
Yeah, and another one that Iused to do like pretend play.
It was always like like I ownthings, like I was an owner and
like I would put little cards onthe door and say like it was an
apartment like 2B or 2C, and Iwould be like I own an Airbnb we
didn't have Airbnbs then, butyou know, like a little bed and

(15:06):
breakfast and I was likeknocking on people's doors and
like I was the and I had apsychic tell me you were a land
baroness in another life.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
I mean tell me, that doesn't track.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
I know this is something else.
Me that doesn't track.
I know this is something else.
So lots of certifications.
You've worked really hard.
You're out there.
You're sharing your gift withso many people.
What are some of themisconceptions that you find
about intuitive healing?

Speaker 2 (15:37):
That's a great question.
A lot of people think that they, like a lot of people, blend
spirituality and religiontogether and I'm like okay,
first of all, spiritually, spirituality and religion are
two different things.
You can be spiritual and bereligious.
It really just depends on yourdefinition.
So that is one of the biggestmisconceptions is, oh, I'm not

(16:00):
spiritual, like, my religiondoesn't allow that.
And it's like well, you'reallowed to go in and create your
own definition of spiritualityand you can follow that religion
.
Um, so that one's been one ofthe biggest ones.
Because if you people always saylike, oh, that's too woo woo,
but really like, why is woo wooeven a word?

(16:20):
Because if you think aboutwoo-woo, it's just energy and
everything is energy.
The chairs we're sitting on areenergy, our computers are
energy, I am energy, you areenergy, money is energy.
So let's take that freakingword out and throw it in the
trash, because woo-woo is not athing.
And so when people say like, oh, that's too woo-woo, it's like

(16:44):
okay, well, I understand thatit's woo-woo, but it's energy
actually.
So, no, that doesn't work.
Sure, the other one is a lot ofpeople.
The biggest misconceptions iswell, I'm not intuitive like you
.
I do believe that everyone hasan intuition.
It is not something that wehave to like.
It's not something we learn howto.
It's something we learn how todo, but it's not something that

(17:05):
we just earn.
Basically, it's not a batchLike.
We all have an intuition.
We just have to take thosesteps in order to reclaim and
reconnect with our intuition.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Sure yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
So many of us walk around based on our past
conditioning, the way we've beenraised, like I, like I was
disconnected from mine, growingup in a religion that's like, no
, you don't listen to you andtrust yourself.
And I was like, okay, now I'mreally leaning into it and it's
astrologically, um, I'm a cancerrising in a Pisces sun and an

(17:39):
Aries moon.
So I'm very I have a lot ofwater.
I know Aries is fire, but Ihave a lot of water.
Water is very intuitive, veryspiritual, and so now I'm just
really reclaiming and going backinto who I truly am.
So anybody who's out there, that's like I don't know if
that's for me.
It's like, well, just find thatone thing that really lights

(18:01):
you up.
At first it could be humandesign, it could be freaking
astrology, it could be tarotcards or Oracle cards, it could
be literally freaking Buddha.
It's like I remember the firsttime I found a Buddha and then,
all of a sudden, it's like, ohmy gosh, this is so cool.
And then here I am I've got 15certifications, I've got
hypnotherapy, I've got Reiki,I've got coaching.

(18:23):
So it really is just aboutremembering who you are and
getting out of your own way.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Yeah, and I get it too the other way, where people
will say that I'm not religious, they'll say like, well, this
isn't of God, and then get on melike you need to go to church
and I'm like I have arelationship with God, right, I
mean, I kind of color myselfreligious and spiritual as well,

(18:53):
and you can be both.
You are able to get this withthe yoga as well.
Like, oh, that's not of God.
Well, when I'm in connectionwith that, that's who I'm
connecting with.
You know, I'm not thinking ofanything else other than, you
know, being in that moment, being in the present moment,
being grateful, you know, andthrough prayer, and that's so

(19:13):
individual and I think that'swhy Holy Fire resonated with me.
It's not religious, but you canbring in God, holy Spirit, if
you like.
It's that choice up to you withit.
So if it's something a matter offinding that particular healer,
everyone's going to bedifferent.
There's some that are going towork with archangels, angels.

(19:34):
They'll bring in Jesus, they'llbring in Buddha, they'll maybe
say, a God of your ownunderstanding.
So it's just a matter offinding that particular
practitioner.
But we're so kind of umbrellaedunder nope, you have to be this
pagan, which there's nothingwrong with being pagan, right,
but you have to be like, oh mygoodness, you're going to go to
hell.

(19:54):
But isn't this the same conceptof what Jesus did and the
disciples did as they walked theearth?
It was about love, it was aboutservice.
So this is what this is.
I'm not claiming that when Itouch you, you will rise up and
walk right, no, I've got water.
And I mean, yes, miracleshappen every day.
But I think it's just theunderstanding that this is just

(20:15):
a wonderful healing modalitythat can help you with your
stress, and something that'swonderful to walk along the side
of what your primary caregiverhas for you know, for you, for
your medical plan.
So it's not going againstanything and respecting free
will.
So when they come and like, just look at the word Nope,
that's not for me, okay.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Okay, right, it's all about that discernment.
And back in January we actuallywent to um this I oh the human
evolution of consciousness inSan Diego and we heard Greg
Braden talk and Greg Braden hasgone in and actually
scientifically, our DNA actuallyis coded that says I am God

(20:58):
Sure In our DNA.
So it's really like yourdefinition is perfect, like it
it could be God, it could beuniverse, it could be source.
Like whatever is an alignmentfor you is perfect.
And when you go in and kind ofstart to look at like
scientifically, like we're alljust here trying to figure out
how source sees us, we all cameto individuate and we're all

(21:21):
learning through this thing thatwe all decided was a good idea
to come, and experience was lifeas a human, I don't know who in
the world thought that was agood idea, especially right now.
So it's just really cool.
Like when you go and look atthe scientific behind it your
DNA, say like I am God that isso powerful and it like blew my

(21:45):
mind to see, like oh, okay, andthe way he calculated it.
I was like I'm not a scientist,I'm not a chemist, I'm not a
physicist, like nope, not for me.
But I was like that is reallycool.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Right Prior to, kind, of the arrival of Holy Fire.
I believe it came about in 2014.
So this was a few years beforeI taught at a Christian school.
So I taught transitionalkindergarten and during the
morning time we would do ourBible verses, tell a Bible story
.
We would do our Bible verses, tell a Bible story and in

(22:19):
through the resource room Ifound a very I mean and I want
to say all because it was fromthe 60s and it was the coloring
was so kind of dull a little bitand it showed visuals of
different kind of scenes fromthe Bible and I was teaching the
ascension of youension, ofJesus going back into heaven

(22:41):
after he had been crucified anddied, and this particular
picture, I was just so taken byit because as he went up into
the heaven, he gave everyonelittle fires, little flames,
little holy fires, and you couldsee the disciples as he's up in
heaven, going to heaven withthe fire, and that always stuck

(23:02):
with me and it was that ideathat I'm leaving part of God
within you, god is within you,and that kind of resonates what
you story, that you shared, andso when holy fire came along, in
that connection it made meremember that fire within this,
that flame within us.
So that's what I kind of alwaysremember when I think of you.

(23:22):
Know we have this within us andit's a gift that we're sharing
with the world.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Totally yeah.
It's so crazy to like see howeverything is so interconnected
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
So helping others on your journey, being of service,
helping with transformations.
But what has been the biggestchallenge or struggle you faced
in your own healing journey?

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Oh man, when do I begin?
That seems like a long timeline.
I think one of the hardestparts for me was really it's
when I lost my dog.
Um, it's so fascinating becausein the past, like I've gone
through and like I was abusedduring my parents' divorce

(24:08):
because it was like he said, shesaid type of um.
Well, I remember I had cut mymom off at 19 just because I was
like.
I remember I had cut my mom offat 19 just because I was like
nope, we're not doing thisanymore.
I've now since healed that, butwhen I so in 2019, I actually
had a near death experience andI had a 17 year old girl come

(24:30):
across three lanes of trafficand T-bone me.
I veered to the right, so itwasn't a head on, but I don't
remember to the right.
Um, so it wasn't a head on, butI don't remember.
I remember seeing like whitelights after, like as this
happened, and then all of asudden I wake up and I'm like
pushing the airbags out of myface, but then I'm not injured

(24:50):
and it was on my side, on thedriver's side, Like I had a
little scratch right here in thethird eye area.
You can't tell me, that's notweird.
And then I just had a bruiselike from the seatbelt, and then
my shins were bruised from theshin airbag and a melted jacket.
But when I was lifted out ofthe car I was like okay, I had

(25:11):
the opportunity to turn my lifearound and I started to listen.
But the minute that I found so,when my dog ran off, obviously
like you don't really know howto prepare for that, Sure, and
you never really expected tohappen.
And then all of a sudden I gethome from vacation and I jump
into action because I'm like, ohmy gosh, I don't know what to

(25:31):
do.
So I like almost dissociated, because I was stressed.
I was like find her, find her, find her.
And so I went to Walmart, grabbed some ink from my printer
, printed pictures like hey, lost, I'm willing to give a
reward, whatever.
That night, I remember I couldnot sleep.
I woke up the next morningfeeling horrible.

(25:56):
I felt worse than I did withwhen I had influenza as a kid.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
I ran to the bathroom .
I couldn't eat, I like threw upbut there was nothing in my
stomach.
Because I lost my appetite andin that moment, because the
grief had started to likeencapsulate me like I didn't
sleep, I didn't know what wasgoing on, I didn't know where
she was, encapsulate me Like Ididn't sleep, I didn't know what
was going on, I didn't knowwhere she was, like she had

(26:26):
saved my life and then I had.
I got home from work that night, I don't know what in the hell
I was thinking.
Why did I go to work?
Probably because I didn't knowwhat to do.
I should have spent timelooking for her.
And so, of course, like there'sthe guilt that I've carried
through, but I'm like, oh mygosh, like I should have looked
for her that night.
I had taken a bath to just calmdown, and then my neighbor is

(26:49):
calling me and I'm like okay, like I didn't hear my phone.
So she rings my doorbell.
I fell asleep on my bed in atowel.
That's how I felt.
I felt dead inside.
All of a sudden, she's callingme and I hear the doorbell and
she's like hey, my sister foundStella and.
I was like okay, I got up, Ilike immediately, like I was
like cool, she's right.

(27:10):
Like I, I wasn't expecting herto be gone yeah and I was like,
okay, let me grab a sheet justso I can take her into the
hospital and get her fixed andwhatever, like I was willing to
spend as much money as I neededand she goes, she's not here.
And so she actually drove upthere to where she was not very
far from my house, it was juston a busy road and I remember

(27:34):
getting in the car and she wentup there with me and they
actually didn't want me to seeher because, she had been split
open and I, so I actually nevergot to have that final goodbye.
So, in that moment.
I've had to learn how to almostheal myself from that traumatic
event and I've had to go in andI've had to really learn how to

(27:57):
nurture myself, be okay, tolean on for support, Having your
dog like the next year, myother one that I had rescued,
actually right Two months afterI got home from Australia like I
know, she was here to help meprocess that.
And I only told her the one togo first.
But yeah literally 14 monthslater, I had to assist the other

(28:17):
one across.
Yeah, literally 14 months later, I had to assist the other one
across and I in those momentslike that one I could prepare
for.
Nobody can prepare you for theamount of pain and suffering
that you actually are goingthrough.
If you have a dog hit andkilled by a car, that is your
shoulder, sure.
Having that crack me openmyself to receive the love and

(28:39):
the support and the help washuge.
Now it was a very emotional,like I.
It was very emotional then.
I actually still have momentslike I'll go and as the animal
communicator, like because I hadone and I didn't know that was
inside of me before, but I hadone before.
I assisted the other one, butnow I actually have I know

(29:02):
they're creating magic from theother side.
They've helped me find myfiance, they've helped me get to
where I'm at today and allowingme to step into the gift of the
communication, the animalcommunicator.
But the other day I went in anddid a video about those two Um
cause there's this trend onsocial media that's like, oh,
they don't know this yet, right?

(29:23):
But so I went in and that and Icried for like 30 minutes and
we're coming up on four years inMay.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Right.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Fascinating because we actually are going to
Australia for a spiritualretreat and it just so happens
to be over her anniversary.
I was there for her first yearanniversary and I'll be there
for her fourth and it's she hascompletely cumulated and created
this magical life of which I'mliving right now.

(29:53):
But because I rescued those twodogs from my like they were on
my vision board and because Irescued those two dogs from my
like they were on my visionboard, and because I rescued
them and then they like helpedpull me out, like they held my
heart in the darkest moments, and now I'm like oh, I see the
magic you're creating.
And I remember in mycommunication session when I was

(30:17):
about to help the other onecross, I heard or they said
you're about to step onto arocket ship and I was like, what
in the hell does that?

Speaker 1 (30:33):
mean.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Oh, I got it.
I got it.
A couple of years later I waslike, oh, this is what you meant
, because then it led me tobecoming this coach.
And I found a podcast, actuallyjust right after she passed
that changed my life.
I was like, oh my gosh, I couldbecome a life coach.
Sure, becoming a life coachit's like becoming a real estate
agent.
Everybody thinks they can do it.
Right right Now that I've beenin it, I'm like, yeah, I don't

(30:57):
know if I really want to be thecoach Sure, other things but I
found this podcast changed mylife.
Then I found myself at TonyRobbins meeting all of these
life coaches.
I was like, oh, another sign.
Found myself in, registered fora NLP certification, went
through my first breakthrough, ended up getting a single family

(31:18):
home through the breakthrough.
And then the guy's like, hey, Ican't help you get where you
want.
I'm going to transfer you overto these people to find my
fiance.
There you go.
I was like, oh, then, even whenI was in Australia, I heard
this is my last solo trip.
Sure, sure enough.
Literally, that was in May.

(31:39):
The following April, likealmost a year later, I'm with my
person, like now I'm engaged, like we're living our life
together and traveling the world.
So that little dog, or thoselittle dogs I should say, had
created.
I'm like, oh, this is therocket ship you were talking

(32:01):
about.
I went through and acceleratedmy growth and my healing healed
so fast, I mean almost likeagain, 15 coaching
certifications in two years iskind of a little insane, I don't
know who.
I thought that was a good idea, but as like I'm certified to
train in NLP, that was a goodidea, but as like I'm certified
to train in NLP, like I'm an NLPtrainer now.

(32:21):
So I've gone all the waythrough advanced trauma, ptsd,
addiction that is the rocketship they were talking about.
My life accelerated.
So this little being iscreating all of this magic.
And it all started because Iwas like oh, I'm going to do
Reiki Well.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
thank you for sharing that and congratulations on
your engagement.
How wonderful, it's an amazingstory.
I love it.
I love it.
It just shows you.
You never know where theuniverse is going to take you,
but you led with an open heart.
How beautiful, and look at andlook at the blessings all around
you.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
Totally.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
So, when it is time for you to get an energetic
tune-up, what are you lookingfor in an intuitive healer?

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Okay, that is a great question.
So I want somebody, that numberone, I feel safe with.
I don't want to just go to somerandom person and you never
know what type of energysomebody is carrying.
Now I'm also training under ashaman who trained under another
shaman for 30 years, so I'mbeing attuned to shamanic energy

(33:25):
right now.
So I'm like a sponge once again.
I'm like again I don't know whoin the world thought that I was
like, okay, let's go do allthese things.
But being attuned to that, likeI have to be careful if
people's frequencies are notwhere I, where mine is at, it is
a little bit harder and I don'tknow what kind of energy I'm
actually pulling in.

(33:45):
So, number one, trust yourintuition when going to be
attuned or getting that tune up,because you want to make sure,
number one, you're in alignmentwith yourself.
But you want to make sure it'sin alignment with your Reiki
practitioner or your intuitivehealer, because if you are not
going to be in alignment, thenwho knows what that's going to

(34:07):
open up for you.
It's all about that discernmentand knowing what's right and
what's wrong and being in thattrue alignment for yourself.
So for me, when I got like, Iremember my neighbor who found
my dog.
She was a Reiki practitionerand at first, like I was a
little skeptical.
Um, I was like, okay, so then Idid, I dipped my toe in and

(34:30):
then she ended up doing a couplesessions for me, which but it's
always about checking in andmaking sure that it's number one
in alignment for myself.
But am I aligned with theperson or intuitive healer I'm
going to visit Because I don'twant to be attaching myself to
any energy that's not for me.

(34:52):
And so being able to discernthat, because if you're not in
alignment, who knows like, ifyou know like, you're going to
have that hit and you're goingto be like, oh, I got it.
So those energy attunements orthose tune-ups for me, I'm all
about checking in with myintuition.
But I always say when thestudent's ready, the teacher

(35:12):
appears.
And I'm a firm believer in that.
Your intuitive healers arethose teachers.
If you have one and that all ofa sudden just appears in your
life, odds are you're supposedto be, there's a reason that
you're being brought together.
I don't just go activelyseeking intuitive healers.

(35:34):
I don't actively go and seektarot readings.
I did at one point.
Now I'm not so very, I'm not.
I get all my tarot readingsfrom TikTok and Instagram, yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
And there's nothing wrong with that, because this is
a teachable moment too, I think, as the healing journey.
You know, we go and we reachout and we go through that
little phase where we're goingto all the card readers and
we're going to all the psychicsand then we kind of get to a
point that we're like, yeah, wedon't need that We'll, we'll
trust our own intuition and thenmoving forward, but yeah, I do

(36:07):
the same thing.
I go on Tik TOK and you know, see the tea.
It's just fascinating to mebecause there's such a variety
out there.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
Yeah, I remember.
So before I met my fiance therewas this video on TikTok and it
said somebody needs to packtheir bags, somebody's going to
be traveling a lot, literally.
After I saw that video I waslike I was gone for the first
two years of my relationshipwith my partner.

(36:34):
We were gone at least once amonth.
Wow, if, and it was like longertimes, like I it was.
I was like I remember thatTikTok video.
So there are people out therethat like I don't.
I don't know if I've ever seenthat person again since.
Sure, Like.
I guess I just needed that onevideo and then I wish I could go
back and find it and be like soremember this video.

(36:57):
Like this was two years ago.
Pack your bags it and be likeso remember this video.
Like this was two years ago.
You're going to be traveling alot.
I'd love to go in and just belike this is everything I've
done, like I've been toCalifornia multiple times, in
Hawaii and Bali and I would loveto just go and share like you
changed my life because of that.
And it's so crazy to see some ofthose people.

(37:20):
They're like, hey, you're goingto be traveling a lot.
I'm like, oh, okay, yeah, andthe people I saw two or three
years ago, I'm not seeing themanymore because, number one, my
vibration is now in a differentplace, that frequency.
So now I'm seeing differentpeople, like I've had the honor
to meet you and there's a reasonthat you and I have been
brought together.
Yeah, and I can't.

(37:46):
I'm.
I'm so excited to like I'm surethere's like some collaboration
possibly, that coming throughand being like, oh, okay, this
is really cool.
So, yeah, the evolution of usas humans is so crazy.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
Right and TikTok is really instrumental in kind of
expanding our world with thisReiki.
It's kind of my kids like yeah,we know what that is, we saw
someone here or they namedsomeone, and it's just to have
fun with it too.
And I have a little charactercalled Reiki police that I do on

(38:18):
TikTok and it's just reallyplayful.
You know you have people thatcan be so judgmental and it has
to be this way or that way andit's just a play on it and I
play the music from Dragnet.
It's like see right, senseiReiki police coming here.
Oh, my goodness, I got a callin about someone not doing goshy
ho during the beginning of thesession.

(38:39):
That is a Zui 572 violation.
You know just a littleplayfulness of it that.
You know you're there, it'syour intention, right?
We're helping others, we'rebeing of service.
So totally.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
And I mean people do go on TikTok even and do like
the Reiki healings and like I'mlike I don't, I've never done
that and I'm like I'm curious toknow like what their response
is.
I've actually never reallytruly felt the Reiki coming from
those people that have beendoing it and I'm like, okay, I,
I'm down to like just like tryit and experience, but then now

(39:13):
again I'm not seeing all of them.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
I'm like okay, yeah, I've had a couple on the podcast
.
Uh, one is called the reikifairy, so she does different
things and she mixes it up withasmr.
And then, uh, magical alley thehealer, she does one as well so
she does, um, christ-centered,uh, reiki, and so she's on there

(39:36):
.
So she's on there prettyfrequently, but yeah, there
there pretty frequently.
But yeah, there's a nicevariety on there and it's just a
matter of finding your rightone.
I mean, I usually just kind ofgo scrolling and then, whoa, I
feel that.
And then I pause and I check itout.
My latest one is a gentlemanthat does.
He does hypnosis.
So I don't believe he doesReiki, but he's done this for
quite some time and I think whatcaught me was his hook line is

(40:01):
you're sleeping with a hypnotist.
I'm the Hugh Hefner of TikTok,my little bunnies, I'm going to
guide you into sleep.
And I think that was just itfor me.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
That I would be like I'd be curious to to be like, oh
, I'm curious about what I waslistening to.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
Yeah, and his background is he was an exotic
dancer but he's very talentedand hypnosis and trained, and so
he's like I'm doing this andhe's like let's push it and he
channels it and he guides youthrough it and just his voice at
this point.
So I've been in Thursdays Ithink he does past life
regression on that as well andhe puts me out and he'll come on

(40:45):
and like tell me, tell me howmany times you slept with me?
Hashtag new.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
And this is how you become what you want to be.
So I actually I have an LLCthat I created for a rental
property and it's funny thatyou're bringing this up.
So for me, I've always lovedlike luxury, I love bougie-ness,
and my LLC is bougie boy LLC.

(41:13):
I have a design and stagingcompany called bougie boy
designs staging company calledBougie Boy Designs.
Now, my latest evolution ofthis is Bougie Animal Chats, the
Louis Vuitton of animalcommunication.
Very good, as a luxury, yourconnection should be too Sure.
So I'm creating this brand ofthis Bougie Animal Chats.

(41:35):
Sure, be like him.
Like, oh, but I'm not going tosay like, how many times have
you slept with me?

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Right, right.
It makes me think of my, mydaughter, when she was younger

(42:05):
you know, I would stand you.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
When you can stand in it it's great.
But then it's funny because Isay, bougie, but make it
spiritual, sure.
Sure, we could still have theluxuries, like, even if we're a
spiritual being like, okay, youwant a Gucci bag or you want to
be have a Louis Vuitton.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
Sure, you're allowed to have those nice things,
because that invites the flow ofabundance into your life.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
Sure, there was a season, you know, my parents had
divorced also, and uh, therewas a season that we, my mother
and I, lived in section eight, housing, uh and uh, kind of a
lower income area, and so sheused to call it Chateau Legato.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
So Chateau Legato.
I love that, so that's what sheused to call it when we lived
there, we eventually, you know, got out.

Speaker 1 (42:54):
But there was that season where it was like okay,
nothing, nothing's wrong withthat, and then it helped us out
through that season.
But yeah, that's what she usedto call it.
So that's awesome, I love thatso much.
So what advice would you givesomeone who is just entering
spiritual work?
Good luck.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
You never know what you're signing up for.
And you know what have fun withit.
Like I said, good luck Becauseagain, like as you enter the
spiritual world, the reason Isay good luck is because there's
literally so many damnloopholes that you can go in and
you're like, oh, all of asudden I'm in this loop and I
like this loop and what I'mlearning?

(43:35):
Oh, now, I'm going to jump overhere.
Now, not everybody's amanifesting generator.
You, I'm learning, oh, now I'mgoing to jump over here.
Now, not everybody's amanifesting generator.
You may find the one thing andbe like, oh my gosh, this is so
cool.
But allow yourself toexperiment, allow yourself to
have fun and, again, good luck.
Because it seems like the moreyou go, it's like the more you
can create and the more you can.
All of a sudden, you're likeit's almost like the twilight

(43:58):
zone in a way.
So just digging into thatspirituality is so fun.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Right, right and be also be careful what you wish
for too, because I hadmanifested a space and it came
at a time where I had, likeeverything going on and it was
like what's happening, like Ihad prayed and asked for this
and here it is, and I think Idon't want it now.

Speaker 2 (44:22):
Yep, be specific when you manifest.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
If you want abundance make sure you're specific about
what abundance?
Sure, and I tell people that allthe time, like if you are
manifesting a pair of likeAdidas shoes and you get a box
of shoes and they're adidas, like man, they're the wrong
color and they're a size two.
I needed an eight and a half.
You know, in in in white rightI had, um, I was in a big uh

(44:47):
zoom meeting over covid withkyle gray I don't know if you're
familiar with him card readerintuitive and everything, and
this deck of cards right there.
Call it it, baron Reed.
So I won.
I got picked as one of thepeople that had a reading and so
I was getting ready to movefrom Pittsburgh to El Paso and I
didn't want to go.
I was like kicking andscreaming and my question was so

(45:11):
specific and I actually gotpicked because my screen, when
we had it off, had my CavalierKing Charles on it and Kyle goes
oh, I, those are dogs.
I like her dogs, we'll pick her.
And my question was he goes?
That is the most specificquestion I have ever heard.
It was so detailed, like aboutEl Paso, but they gave me the

(45:34):
spiritual thumbs up, you know tocome out here.
So, but yeah, be very, very, very specific.
Thumbs up, you know to come outhere, so, but yeah, be very,
very, very specific.
So, what books do?

Speaker 2 (45:44):
you recommend Surrender Experiment by Michael
Singer.
Number one.
That one is literally that's.
I'm still learning what thatlesson of surrender means.
But also the Untethered Soul, those, the Untethered Soul is
what really transformed.
Now, the first couple chaptersfor me were a little bit hard.
That does not have to be thecase for you.

(46:05):
I'm not an avid reader.
Reading is not my favoritething to do.
However, I have found thosecouple books.
Once I got through the firstcouple chapters of the
untethered soul, it was like Iwas like, holy smokes, like
there's so much in here.
I should probably go back andreread it.
Then also the um, the surrenderexperiment.
The way he describes that one, that one just captivated so much

(46:28):
of my attention and it is abeautiful story of like how he
created his life all because hesurrendered.
Now there was resistanceobviously at times, but then
once he got in he's like oh, Igot it, I understand.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
Beautiful, beautiful, yeah.
So what services do you offer?
Classes, trainings, events.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
Yes, so I'm a Reiki master teacher.
Um, I do in-person Reikitrainings.
Um, I also do them via zoom.
Um, I'm doing NLP trainings andcertifying people to become NLP
practitioners and so forth.
I do animal communicationsessions, which that one's
lighting me up the absolute mostright now.
I also do like the distanceReiki.

(47:11):
I do hypnosis sessions.
I work with animal medicinefrom the shamanic energy.
So I am kind of all over theplace with what I offer, and
that's because they're all toolsthat have changed my life.
I want to bring them to othersto change their life.

Speaker 1 (47:26):
Beautiful and where can we find you if they want to
reach out and get a session withyou?

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Absolutely so.
Instagram, at Tyler underscoreGines G-I-N-E-S, and then also
on TikTok, as at Tylerunderscore Gines.
I am also on Facebook as wellTyler gines.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
Okay, and that is online and in person.
You want to let everyone knowin person where you are.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
Yep, I'm in Utah, um, and I do plan to expand that
and I would love to do actuallike retreats where you're
attuned to the energy and likedifferent states.
So that is on the future, butas of right now they are in Utah
, excellent.

Speaker 1 (48:04):
All right.
Well, that ends the first partof our journey.
I'm going to continue to guideyou on to the second part, which
is questions from listeners andReiki students.
So here we go, Number one.
I am starting out as a coach.
Do you think it's beneficial toobtain multiple certifications?

Speaker 2 (48:20):
So it depends on what your actual goal is with those
certifications.
It depends on the way you wantto do it.
I may or may not haveaccidentally become addicted to
getting certifications because Ilove learning, and this is how
I ended up with 15 of them.
Now you can always take and getone certification and practice

(48:41):
it, or, if you want to continueon your journey, I think it is a
really great way to buildcredibility and a great way to
edify yourself, and it is notalways necessary as long as you
have like a baseline of it andunderstanding, cause there's a
lot of people out there whoclaim to be coaches that
actually don't have any formaltraining and they just think
they can do it.

(49:02):
Again, like one certification,as long as you have an
understanding of how to do it, Ithink that is a great way.
Now again, if you're addictedto learning, like I am, in
learning new tools and wantingto, like transform every
possible thing and get asadvanced as possible, keep going
.
There's no right or wronganswer to that.
It's completely up to how youfeel and want to do.

Speaker 1 (49:23):
Sure, and I did the same thing as you.
I was just taking one thingafter another.
It was almost like I wasthirsty for the information and
now I've gotten to a point andit's not to a point where I know
everything, but I feel like youknow, I think I need to just be
in this season of doing and notcollect these things, you know,
and take one more certification.

(49:44):
I need to be out there anddoing the work and experiencing
things, that, so you'll know, you'll get that inner sense of,
of guidance on the right thingto do.
Yeah, so number two, how didyou know you were ready to leave
the corporate world?

Speaker 2 (49:59):
How did you know you were ready to leave the
corporate world?
Oh, that one was a nice kick inthe face from the universe
because, as I had started toevolve and grow myself, I was
now no longer in alignment withwhat I was creating or where I
was at the universe.
It can either be subtle or itcan be a nice kick in the face.

(50:21):
It's not always going to begentle.
I was laid off from corporateAmerica.
Now I'd been toying around withthat and as soon as I was laid
off I was like it was almostlike a blessing in disguise.
I was starting, I had started toget burnt out, but I was like
there's more for me out there.
That is a scary leap of faith.
And this is where I had to turnto psychics that were outside,

(50:45):
like I had.
I could not, because I was soin the emotion I had to seek
external guidance in order tofigure it out.
Sure, and they had all saidjust take the leap.
And I'm so glad I did, becauseit's allowed me to open up so
much more.
So for me, the universe is whatdecided for me to leave the
corporate world.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
I didn't.
Yeah, isn't that interestingwith those of us that are
intuitive.
You know, we're able to be nextto someone and we can see
things and kind of help guidethem.
But then when it's in our ownpersonal lives, it's like the
static on a radio station.
We just can't hear it clearlyand we need to go to someone
else to kind of clear it for usto get that understanding.

(51:27):
Yeah, it just gets like what doI do?
And then you start doubtingyourself and it's like, wait a
minute, like I need to be usingmy own tools here.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
Right, but then when you again, when you're so in
that emotion, it's almost hardto hear and understand.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
Yeah, and you have to you question everything.
Number three how do you respondto people who question energy
workers and intuitive healersthat they feel that this isn't
necessary for healing?

Speaker 2 (51:53):
That is a great question.
So my grandparents bless theirheart.
My grandma actually just had.
At first we thought it was aheart attack, but there was like
her blood pressure a couple ofweeks ago and when I went and
visited her they were kind ofasking questions and it's really
hard to explain to people likewhat you do if they don't have
the understanding.
And so it's like the curiosityis there Now when people are

(52:15):
like, oh, it's not necessary, you just have to hold that space
for them and allow them toprocess and feel what they need,
to feel they're on their ownjourney.
Now, if you can plant thoselittle seeds for them, they're
always going to end up comingback.
Opening up that dialogue orthat question allows them for

(52:35):
that curiosity.
And even if they say like, oh,that's not necessary or oh, my
religion doesn't believe in that, it is planting a seed, and
then they get curious.
And then once they're curious,it's like, oh, okay, and then
they kind of come back and askmore questions and then they
leave and then they come back.
So it's patience, having thepatience for them, because it's
not always going to be rightaway.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
Beautiful.
Well, that was our lastquestion, as we've been talking.
