SPEAKER_00 (00:20):
This is Ready Set
Reiki, a podcast about Reiki and
all energy work from the curiousbeginner to the seasoned master
teacher, while giving allsystems, all images, and all
levels.
Reiki is a journey and not adestination.
And on this Ready Set Reikijourney, I refer to myself as a
guide.
So I'm Tracy C.
Wright.
And this, hello Reiki family,Reiki blessings to you.
(00:43):
Another wonderful journey I havein store for you today with
Ready Set Reiki.
So a couple announcements.
Number one, Reiki News Magazine, fall 2025.
Check out my article, Reiki forBurnout, and lots of other great
information here.
I just love getting thismagazine because as I go through
(01:05):
it, every issue, it is anotherway to bring the energy in in
ways I never thought.
One uh article, another uh issuehad Reiki for a Mouse.
Wow, Reiki for a Mouse.
You can really do anything withReiki.
And then again, the ReikiAssociation has a uh magazine
(01:26):
called Universal Life Magazine, and that's through the Reiki
Association.
My article, handing over thekeys.
I recently not only sold onehouse, I sold two houses and had
to go through really a verybumpy road in both houses, but
they're done, everything'sclosed, moving on, and really
Reiki was instrumental inhelping me get through that
(01:49):
process in this particular kindof market.
But let's get back to anamazing, wonderful guest, a
powerhouse.
I'm so excited that she's here.
You may know my buddy, my myfriend in Reiki, my friend in
yoga.
Uh, one of the many blessings ofuh being on a podcast is that
(02:11):
you meet so many wonderful, amazing people that become
lifelong friends.
And my good friend Rose Whip haschat off the mat.
She had this wonderful, amazingguest, and I'm just like, yes,
everything about her, fantastic.
I mean, amazing offerings.
I wish I lived close to her so Icould be there and be at her
school.
(02:32):
Amazing.
So let me tell you all abouther.
So it is Violet B.
Ray.
Now she has written 40 books forher classes, and she has been
featured in published books andarticles.
She has been uh a speaker atexpos and retreats and
conferences, as well as guest onseveral podcasts.
(02:54):
Now she is the founder of theSacred Temple Ministry School,
magical creator of discovery, medium, and channel.
Now she is a master teacher ofangelic Reiki, fairy Reiki, and
Reiki with a violent flame.
And she's also a sound healerand a Kashik record master.
And she also has her very ownpodcast, which she'll tell you
(03:18):
about.
So let's give a ready set Reikiwelcome to Violet Welcome.
SPEAKER_01 (03:23):
Thank you so much
for having me, Tracy.
I'm so excited.
You are right.
We met on Rose's podcast, and Ithink we instantly connected.
So I'm very excited to be herewith you today.
SPEAKER_00 (03:37):
Beautiful.
You had posted something online, and I you had a class this past
weekend, and just the detail toeach of your students, the
material.
And I was like, wow, this girlhas it all together.
I mean, down to the big lighter.
(03:58):
You gotta love it.
Totally prepared.
I wish I could have crawledright into that picture and sat
right in that seat for thattraining.
SPEAKER_01 (04:06):
And we would have
loved to have had you too.
You know, one of the things thatpeople do do say about me is my
attention to detail because Ifeel like everything in your
space, everything that you putinto a class or classroom has to
have intention and purpose to bethere because it holds that
(04:26):
energy for that space for thestudents, the teacher, and also
the class.
So I'm very much into thatdetail.
And I love it.
SPEAKER_00 (04:35):
And it'd be just
right on point.
I'm like, yes, take it all in.
So know when you take a trainingwith her, you are absolutely
probably getting beyond yourmoney's worth.
So, you know, wonderful.
So as we begin our journey, Itold I told the guests a little
bit about you, but I know thereis way, way more.
So tell us a little bit aboutyourself.
SPEAKER_01 (04:55):
Well, I love that
your show's about Reiki because
it's very interesting.
And like uh 2005, 2006, I was asenior executive of HR, uh, very
much in the modern world, doingwhat we've all been told, work
really hard, get an education,go after your career, climbing
(05:17):
the ladder.
But I found that I was veryempty and that things weren't as
fulfilling as I believe thatthey should be.
And so I really took thisspiritual journey and I found a
mentor.
And through that process, shegoes, You need to check out
Reiki.
And at the time, I was like,Reiki?
What is Reiki?
I've never heard of Reiki.
(05:39):
She said, Go to the library andpick up some books on Reiki and
really look at them.
And at the time, I'm like, I'mnot going to the library, I'm
going to Barnes and Noble, andI'm going to clean the shelf.
And that's exactly what I did.
I went into Barnes and Noble, picked up all these Reiki books
and brought them home andstarted going through them.
Now, at the time I lived inFlorida, which is very much the
(06:02):
Bible Belt.
So finding a Reiki masterteacher was a little difficult
where I was at.
(06:32):
Because I'm really big into forme, Reiki is very sacred.
Reiki should be held in a veryreverent place.
And not everyone does it thatway.
And nothing wrong with theseteachers.
They were great and wonderful.
But I felt like sacredness hadbeen absent and that there
(06:53):
wasn't the reverence that neededto be and the divine connection.
Now, the other flip side is I'malso a college professor.
So detail in the resources youwere giving was very important
to me too.
And and most people on theirspiritual journey, don't take
this the wrong way, hand you afew handouts.
(07:15):
Here you go.
This is what you're gonna do.
And when you come to my classes, you get a 200 to 300 page book,
like a published book.
Um, because I'm a scholar, Iwant to know where did it start?
Where was it resourced from?
Where do we get these details?
And so I kept on this journey.
(07:35):
I went through Reiki traditionalAsui about four times with four
different masters.
One was online, three were inperson.
Um, and then I kept on thisjourney, and then somebody said,
Angelic Reiki, and I'm like, oh,I love the angels.
Let's step in.
And I did Angelic Reiki, and Ifell in love with that modality
(08:00):
and started really using it.
But since then I've also takenKaruna Reiki.
You would think I'm a Reikiguru, all the Reiki's, and then
I took fairy Reiki and I waslike, oh, we can make this much
better, like everything I do.
We can do this just a little, wecan amp this up.
So I loved fairy Reiki, and thenI was teaching like a
(08:23):
non-traditional Reiki with apractitioner, and we were
partnering, and we were like, itneeds something.
We don't know what it is, but weit just needs a little, I don't
know, a little something.
And Saint Germain came to me andsaid, Reiki with the violet
flame.
And so I've created a wholeprogram with Reiki the Violet
Flame.
(08:43):
Now, understand if you're Reikipractitioner, you probably have
already figured out there arelots of different types of
Reiki, but Reiki really startedmy spiritual journey of
connecting and finding myselfagain and understanding, and so
it really is my foundation,Tracy, of where I start.
SPEAKER_00 (09:07):
Well, I love that.
And in my experience, in myjourney, I I've had a couple of
uh professors who were Reikimasters, and you can really tell
the difference in the material.
Uh, one of my friends, I showedher my manual, and she's like,
wait, when I got my training, Ijust got a couple papers.
(09:28):
So I love that you go in and yougo deep and you go hard.
And really looking at thelineage, we had Azui Sensei,
who, you know, worked with theReiki Energy, and he was kind
of, so to speak, building theplane in the air, right?
He was trying to figure out andnavigate through this.
And then as he trained Dr.
Hitashi, he tweaked it, right?
He had studied, tweaked it alittle bit, and then we went on
(09:50):
to Kakata.
So you had that strongfoundation, you had that
education, you had thosemasters, and then having that
ability to go on and tweak it alittle bit.
So I love that that you took thetime really to study and get
familiar with that, and thenkind of, you know, make it your
um.
So would you say that Reikifound you or you found Reiki?
SPEAKER_01 (10:12):
I think it found me.
I really think I was led to findthat.
And at the time, I wouldn't evenhave thought about energy
healing as something I wanted todo.
Um, but for a personal journey,I think this is where people get
confused sometimes, is theythink in order to go take a
(10:33):
Reiki class, that they're gonnahave to give Reiki to other
people, that it's going to bethat next step.
And and Reiki is really apersonal journey for most
people, stepping in andunderstanding how you can use
Reiki in your everyday life, howyou can bring that in, how it
changes your viewpoint, yourperspective, and everything.
(10:55):
I think that's where to start, and then a spirit leads you into
other directions.
Please take that notch.
But Reiki is really for everyoneand helps in so many things that
you really don't even realize.
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (11:13):
I always feel that
everyone should at least have
Reiki one, that's self-Rakey.
You know, you don't have to goon to have a business or teach.
That may not be your thing, butjust to have those tools that
you're able to breathe and allowthis energy to flow through you,
you know, and having it as adaily practice instead of just
waiting until everything hitsthe fan is that key to it.
(11:34):
But just it's a greatstress-reducing modality to
bring into your life.
SPEAKER_01 (11:38):
Absolutely,
absolutely.
And you know, it helps all of usand it helps everyone around you
because here's what happens whenyou get attuned to Reiki and you
get attuned to that energy.
You may not even be thinkingabout Reiki, and it turns on
because it's very purposeful, and that something or someone in
(11:59):
the space really needs thatenergy, and we're being called
to be of service at that time, that place.
And I also love that about Reikibecause I can be walking in the
grocery store and I'm trying tofind the grapes, and all of a
sudden my Reiki is turned on,and my belief is someone around
(12:19):
me has been asking for healingor release or something in their
life, and I'm being used as aconduit of service to the divine
to provide some of that energy, and they will tend to get closer
and closer to me, almostfollowing me for a little bit.
And I just hold a space ofgratitude for whoever needs to
(12:43):
receive it in that moment thatthey're getting what they need
from that.
SPEAKER_00 (12:48):
Beautiful.
And I love that you went on totake different Reiki's as well,
because we have our nicefoundation of a Zooy.
And you know, just like I wentto college in education, but my
specialty was elementaryeducation.
We have those specialty Reiki's.
I'm trained in angel and you'rein angelic, you know, and so I
(13:09):
did when I learned money Reiki, when I got that information, I'm
like, wait, I think we canreally take this to the next
level.
So I did as you did with theother Reiki and add different
things to it and uh, you know, kind of explored a different
option with it.
So as you learn, as you grow, asyou become educated as a master,
you're able to have that abilityto shift and change as the
(13:32):
energies call to you.
SPEAKER_01 (13:34):
Yeah, absolutely.
I think you should always becurious.
I don't I think you know, yearsand years and years ago, when
somebody was a practitioner, they specialized in a specific
area and they stayed in thatlane.
Today, we don't necessarily stayin those lanes, we have a huge
(13:55):
toolbox with lots of differenttools, excuse me, that we use
for different things anddifferent purposes.
And I think each one expands ourevolution and understanding of
what we're working with andallows us to be a more effective
(14:17):
practitioner in what we'reworking in.
So I think it's just reallyimportant to check out different
things because I don't think oneis the only answer.
SPEAKER_00 (14:26):
Correct.
And I find it, you may find ittoo.
A lot of practitioners, theyhave a lot of modalities under
their belt.
That may just be the collectiveand what we're preparing for the
world, but it's really rare thatyou have like, well, I just have
one modality.
You usually have 20 or 30 or 50.
That is true.
I think we all work that way, right?
SPEAKER_01 (14:47):
At least today.
Like I'm uh an Akashic recordreader and a sound healer and a
Reiki practitioner, and youknow, I do lots of different
things.
It's not just one thing.
You know, the challenge withthat is sometimes it can be
confusing for somebody coming inof what should I do first?
(15:09):
That's that's the downfall ofthis.
I almost feel like we shouldhave a 30-minute session, an
hour session, blah, blah, blah.
And then we figure it out as wego along, right?
SPEAKER_00 (15:20):
Right.
Like you come in and it's likealmost a menu, right?
Like, I don't know where tostart.
Absolutely, absolutely.
So 20 years of experience, you're out here, you're sharing
your gift with the world.
As you're out here, what are youfinding as a common
misconception about Reiki?
SPEAKER_01 (15:41):
Well, I think I
think most people's common
misconception is it's religious, that it is tied to some type of
religious organization.
Just like angels, there's thatmisconception that they're for
the church only.
And and neither one of those aretrue.
It's for everybody, it's foreverybody to have access to it.
(16:05):
You don't have to have a certainbelief to be able to access that
energy.
You can receive and not reallybelieve in certain things.
It's about just being open to bereceptive to the energy.
Uh, I think we limit ourselvessometimes.
Our beliefs or what we've beentold create blocks and
(16:29):
limitations that don't allow usto really explore and be curious
and find things.
So I would say if you ever havea curiosity about something,
start asking questions andlooking at it because most of
the time spirit's trying toguide you.
And when you have thatcuriosity, it is them going,
(16:51):
Come on, check it out, come on,look at it.
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (16:56):
I believe that as
well.
It's like that nudge.
So if you have that calling, that may be you know the
universe directing you into thatuh path.
But we have that culturallycreated self that tells, you
know, you nope, that's not good.
And we don't do that.
I was at a vending showrecently, and just the word
reiki, she's like, Yeah, I don'tdo that.
No other explanation, nothing.
(17:16):
Just walks away.
It's like, okay, that's fine.
You know, I mean, honoring thatfree will, right?
SPEAKER_01 (17:24):
Absolutely.
If that's not your thing, Iunderstand that.
Just like, you know, most of usteach that you need permission
from the client before you givethem Reiki because they need to
be open and receptive to receiveit.
It's kind of the same thing.
If you ask somebody, hey, areyou interested?
And they're like, nope, not mything.
(17:46):
Okay, no worries, thank you somuch, and just let it go.
SPEAKER_00 (17:50):
Beautiful.
Now, your classes help those onthose spiritual journeys,
helping to deep their path andhelp inspire growth and
empowerment.
But as you've gone along on yourown journey, what has been a
challenge or struggle that youhave faced?
SPEAKER_01 (18:09):
I think life is a
challenge or struggle right now.
And I think everybody, if yousaid, does life feel a little
challenging right now, wouldraise their hand.
SPEAKER_00 (18:18):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (18:18):
Um, and I think
understanding that just because
you're on a spiritual journeyand you're doing your work
doesn't mean that life's notgoing to be challenging because
that is part of this humanexperience.
I think the most challengingthing sometimes is students,
clients, customers believe thatyou have this perfect life and
(18:41):
that you're not human and thatyou don't have any flaws and
nothing out there that'sunusual.
And I love to tell people I'mpart of the human race just like
you.
I have my own bumps andchallenges.
I have my own things that Icontinue to work on, and I think
all of us do.
Now they may be different, butwe all have our challenges.
(19:04):
I think one of my otherchallenges always that I have to
push myself is I allow myself toget too busy where I'm not
taking care of me, and I'mreally passionate about helping
other people.
So I really have to force myselfto take time for my own healing,
(19:24):
for my own work, to do my ownstuff.
And I think when I ignore it toomuch, spirit's like, uh, we got
you.
And they kind of force you to beable to do your work.
So I've found in the lastseveral years it's so much
easier if I just volunteer andgo do it versus being pushed.
And what I mean by that is letme give you an example so that
(19:47):
you understand.
For years and years, I would besick from early fall all the way
through winter.
I have allergies, I have allthose things, and I would just
keep physically pushing, pushinguntil you hit that wall.
And then spirit would let me besick all winter, which made me
rest, right?
And I learned in the lastseveral years that what they're
(20:10):
trying to tell me is you have totake time for you.
And if you don't, you will allof a sudden be sick in bed for
five days because they'reletting your body rest, they're
letting you rest, they'reletting you have time.
If that's not the kind ofvacation or time that you really
want in your life, then you needto take care of yourself so that
(20:32):
you have a little control.
I'd rather be at the beach thansick in bed.
So I will do my work so that Ican enjoy those times.
SPEAKER_00 (20:42):
Beautiful.
And you know, 20 years in youknow, corporate training and
higher education, isn't thatinteresting that it happens in
the fall, right?
Do you know what I mean?
I I get the same thing too.
You know, uh, the last fiveyears I really devoted to Reiki
and uh the healing arts, and I'malways like you go, go, go, go,
(21:02):
go.
And the way spirit gets me islike, I'm gonna get this girl
sick.
And I knew it coming up becausein May I had an article
published.
The I submitted an articlearticle about burnout, and I
kept hearing the word rest, rest, rest.
And when I go to massagetherapists who are also
intuitive healers, they're like, your body's saying to rest.
And this is when I sold thehomes and moving and my kids
(21:25):
moved, and then it all hit inSeptember.
It was like boom, first timeever with COVID, boom, got a
sinus infection, boom, gonebronchitis.
I mean, it was trying to knockme down, right?
You know, as you have a bullthat you're shooting a couple
times with the dart, and I'mlike, okay, I listen, I got it,
I got it.
So really backing off.
And I find too that those of usin the uh, you know, healing
(21:47):
arts, it seems we get it more.
You know, you'll have peoplethat say, but you do Reiki all
the time.
You should be feeling fine, youshouldn't be getting any colts.
But I feel like we kind of gethit a little bit more with
things uh because we're in thiswork.
SPEAKER_01 (22:01):
It is absolutely
true.
You know, we train our students, don't take on other people's
energy.
It's not you, it you're not, youwant to make sure that you're
protecting yourself so thatyou're not taking on those
energies.
But our our our students thatare our largest impasse have the
hardest time protecting theirenergy and not putting their
(22:24):
heart and soul into their work, which means they're taking on
some of this energy if they'renot really careful.
So, you know, being very awareand having that perception of
what's going on with me, what'shappening, what's what's going
on externally around me, what'saffecting me is really critical
(22:46):
and important for all of us tohave that awareness so that
we're taking care of ourselves.
SPEAKER_00 (22:52):
Right.
And if you look back at history, this is why it's so important to
go back and look at the historyabout how Zui Sensei, you know,
in those four years, how manypeople he interacted with before
cell phones, before socialmedia?
And he it seemed like how manypeople a day he interacted with,
and then you know, he passed ofa stroke in at 65 versus Madame
(23:17):
Takata, who had that pricingsystem, you know,$10,000 for a
master.
You know, she was doing this inthe latter 30s all the way up
until very close in the latter70s, until she passed.
So it's so interesting thatmaybe that pricing system that
she put into place was a way ofself-care, right?
That she wasn't taking everyoneto really exhaust her.
(23:41):
But yes, as an empath, definitely, you know, Zoe was
excited and wanted this to beshared with as many people, but
was it at the detriment of hisown health?
So that's why, as practitioners,we need to be very mindful and
careful of our health becauseyou want longevity, you want to
be in for the long term, right?
Absolutely, absolutely.
(24:02):
That's what we're here for,right?
Right, absolutely.
So when it's time for you tohave an energetic tune-up, what
qualities do you look for in aRicky practitioner?
Or you can kind of describe thequalities of the teachers, the
master teachers you've chosen ifyou don't go out and get your
energetic tune up.
SPEAKER_01 (24:20):
You know, I find
that I'm really kind of picky.
I mean, I think, I think ashealers, if we're healers, we
tend to be very picky on who wework with.
I don't know why, but I look forindividuals that can that have
clarity in who they are and whatthey're doing, that they hold
(24:43):
sacred space for people, thatthey really have that compassion
of supporting people.
I also am very picky.
I don't do healing and fairs orexpos unless we're in a room.
I think confining that energy, you're working in somebody's
(25:03):
etheric field, you're makingchanges, you're moving energy.
It should be in a sacred, contained space where you don't
have tons of energy coming inand interfering with that.
So I really, I really look forthose types of things too.
I also like it when I when Icomplete a healing that I feel
(25:27):
like I have moved forward, thatI've released something that
I've really cleared, thatenergetically it feels right,
because we have a tendency tofollow what we think when we
really should be following whereour heart leads us, what feels
right, what makes sense to us.
Do we connect?
(25:47):
Do we resonate with that person?
You know, their structure.
I always look at, you know, whattraining, what time have they
invested in their work, how howmany sessions or how many people
they've worked with or wherethey come from?
I think all that's important.
I also make sure that they arereally professional.
(26:10):
Are, you know, do they have aform?
Do they disclose what they'redoing?
Do they do are they running itprofessionally as a business, or
does it seem like a side gig?
I really look for thatprofessionalism and stuff, even
in my energetic healing, becauseI think that sets the foundation
(26:30):
and stage.
SPEAKER_00 (26:32):
Beautiful.
So as you're spiritual educator, you have been the visionary
behind Discover Your SpiritualGifts in the Sacred Temple
Mystery School.
What are some red flags that youwould for our listeners who are
out there exploring, they'retrying to find that just right?
What are some things that yousee in this industry that's
(26:54):
like, no?
SPEAKER_01 (26:55):
Oh, that's a great
question.
I think number one, when youmeet somebody and they give you
the impression that it's onlytheir wisdom, only they know the
right thing to do.
Only you have to follow exactlywhat they say and do.
I that's a big red flag for mebecause here's the thing the
(27:18):
universe is constantly changing,we're constantly changing and
evolving and understanding thatnothing stays the same.
So I like to see people havethat flexibility.
I'm gonna give you thefoundation, I'm gonna give you
the tools, but then it's yourturn to choose what works for
you, what resonates with you, what should be yours.
(27:42):
I've had many spiritualteachers, um, unfortunately,
that had large egos.
I'm the only one that can teachyou, I'm the only one you can
learn from, I'm the only one youshould listen to.
Those are red flags for me.
That's uh human ego stepping in,and they've been doing this a
(28:06):
long time.
I I have told my family to keepme very humble.
I am uh I'm a human, a person, Ibleed, I cry, I have a
heartache.
I'm here teaching because I'vemoved through these energies and
I'm just trying to share some ofmy experiences and wisdom so
that maybe it can help you onyour path.
(28:29):
And I always tell people if itdoesn't resonate, if I say
something that doesn't resonatewith you, please drop it at the
door as you leave.
But don't be surprised if youcome back and pick it up later
on, months down the road or evenyears down the road.
That's okay.
Do what feels right to you, connect with where you feel.
(28:53):
I think the other thing is youwant to find teachers that are
referencing their sources, thatthey're not teaching somebody
else's curriculum or whatthey've worked on, that they
disclose to you where they'vebeen taught, where they've
learned, where their educationis.
(29:16):
I mean, if you go to my website,I have a professional page and a
spiritual page.
Every class I've ever taken, every person who's ever taught
me is listed on there because Iwant you to understand, I just
didn't make this up in my sleep.
I have actually had training andclasses, and I've invested time
(29:39):
and resources to learn thesethings.
So I hope that answers yourquestion.
SPEAKER_00 (29:44):
So, what are your
thoughts on someone who goes
online and takes the classes ina weekend, in a couple days?
You see some of these like intwo weeks, you're a Reiki
master, or in five days.
And maybe their energy is great.
Maybe it's something thatthey've done this work since
Atlantis, but they've done it ina short period of time.
(30:07):
Is that a red flag for you?
SPEAKER_01 (30:10):
It is because if you
think about it, Suey, he
required his students to workwith him for months, years
before they ever got to masterlevel.
Now, I understand that we livein 2025, and instant
gratification is our drive.
We want to drive up to thewindow, ask for a product, get
(30:33):
it immediately, and take ithome.
I get all that.
However, you have to work inthis energy.
It takes time.
And, you know, I have studentsthat will take a class and I
offer level one and twoEvangelic Reiki Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday.
(30:54):
I offer that, but they don't gettheir certificate until they do
five sessions.
Because the reality is, is a lotof students will come and they
do the class and they love theclass, and then they take the
book home and they put it on ashelf and they don't ever use it
or look at it again.
Reiki was given to you as a giftfor you to utilize, for you to
(31:17):
lean into it, for you to playwith it, for you to work with
it.
And that's not the master level, that's just the first level.
And there's 300 pages in thebook that you get.
Plus, I have an online which isall the lectures, all the
meditations, everything thatI've taught that I also make you
finish again, because I want youto go through and listen to it
(31:38):
again.
Because instant gratificationdoesn't work for everything.
And there's a reason why healingtouch practitioners have to do
hundreds and hundreds andhundreds of sessions before they
get their rubber stamp thatthey're ready to go out in the
world and do healing on otherindividuals, especially
(32:02):
hospitals and in the medicalcenters and all that.
There's a reason why thoserequirements are placed there
because you're not going to walkaway be the master.
I love your question, but I alsolove the fact sometimes a
student will come and take aclass with me, Tracy.
And then Monday they've postedon their website that they're
(32:23):
doing the sessions at the sameprice that I do them.
And I'm thinking, I've had 20years of experience doing
sessions.
SPEAKER_00 (32:32):
Don't you love that?
And I I love how where you havethe your training, and then the
very next week they'll do aclass, or they'll take something
you've done and charge more thanwhat you've charged.
Uh-huh.
And you're like, really?
Where did that come from?
Exactly.
Yeah, I've seen it where I'veseen people take, you know,
(32:55):
something I've studied foryears, years, and they'll take a
class in a weekend, not from me,but from somebody else, and then
go out and they'll they'll startdoing things, you know, and
charging what I was charging, orif not more.
And people are paying for it.
And I'm just like, okay, youhave, and like you, you know,
thousands of dollars ininvestments and education,
(33:17):
right?
And the hours and hours.
When I did my Azui Rahiho, thatwas a different path.
It was level one, and then youhad to do self-reiki for 21
days, then come back to theteacher and talk, and then you
got your certificate.
Then you had to wait severalmonths for level two.
Same thing again, 21 days, goback.
(33:37):
And then once you got your levelthree, it didn't even make you a
master teacher, it just made youa master.
And then when you were ready toteach, you apprenticed.
So I apprenticed, I had thatwith um my teacher, and it was
supposed to be for a year withthat.
And I had to create PowerPointpresentations on a Reiki talk.
I had to put so many hours inand log my hours.
(33:59):
I had to read books and tell myteacher about it.
So all these things, and peopledon't realize like what's behind
the scene.
It's like an iceberg.
You're only seeing that tip,like you're well, we're seeing
what you're doing now, butyou're not seeing the years and
the hours that we invested intothis.
SPEAKER_01 (34:16):
And you talk about
pricing, pricing is really
important because I don't know.
I I'm kind of uh I'm curiousabout what people are pricing
things on on a regular basisbecause I'm constantly going
down and checking differentthings.
Because here's the thing when Iget through with my class, this
(34:37):
is what I tell students you haveto do five sessions that get you
your certificate.
Then I want you to do fivesessions getting testimonials,
and then I would love for you todo five sessions to get
referrals, and then I want youto do five sessions and charge
(34:59):
20 bucks, and then fivesessions.
In other words, we're buildingthat experience because the more
of it you do, the morecomfortable you get with it, the
less it's awkward, the more yougain from it.
People can, especiallyprofessionals, can recognize
(35:21):
whether you really know whatyou're doing or whether you
don't.
And that practice helps.
And a lot of people will belike, oh, yeah, I'll do a$20
session and let you practice.
It helps you gain thatconfidence and the integrity
that you need, and also theprofessionalism to be able to do
that.
So if you have somebody outthere that you know that's
(35:44):
taking a class and they're like,hey, I'd like to do a session
for 20 bucks, please step in andhelp them because the more
practice they get, the betterthey're gonna get with these
tools.
SPEAKER_00 (35:58):
Yeah.
It just, you know, there's noregulation with this, right?
You have massage therapists, there's regulation hairdressing,
regulation nails.
But with Reiki, it's like theWild West.
You have such a variety ofprices, and uh, you know, you'll
have somebody say, Well, why areyou charging this and this
person's charging that?
So it's it's a hard, it's hardto navigate through it.
(36:22):
It's like, well, this is what mytime is, this is what I compare
the prices to, and this is whatI feel is priced appropriately.
And then they'll go to someoneelse who's like, well, this
person's$20 or$30, and you knowthat person because you're in
the same area, maybe didn't haveall the education and all the
time, you know.
So yeah, makes it tough.
SPEAKER_01 (36:44):
You know, those are
students that are practicing.
You can also tell a lot aboutwhere the price is set.
If you're really wanting to douh healing on yourself and
invest in you, then go find thepractitioner that's been doing
this for a while that ischarging a fair price, a fair
(37:07):
marketable price.
And if you think about it,here's something to think about.
What does a plumber charge youper hour?
What does an attorney charge youper hour?
Now, I'm not saying you shouldpay an attorney's rate for a
reiki, but put it in perspectiveand honor that person that's
done that work, but also step upfor those students that are
(37:32):
learning, that are trying tolearn, and know that's gonna be
a really different experiencefrom someone that's been doing
this 10, 15, 20 years that hasreally developed a skill, a
style, and how they do that andexperience it, try them both and
see which one works better foryou.
SPEAKER_00 (37:53):
Very good, very
good.
And also, as you mentioned, youknow, you have everything listed
on your website.
So you have that transparency.
Ethics is so important, justbeing honest, you know, speaking
where you got your material.
Like when I use the ICRTmaterial, it's it's from William
Rand.
And I say, This is from theInternational Center of Reiki,
you know, training.
(38:14):
This is where that informationcomes from.
So always give credit to theteacher.
When I did a Zui Rahijo, it wentfrom teacher to teacher.
So one of my things during myapprenticeship is that I had to
write my own manual.
So we have to cite it, you know, and then that became the love.
My background in education, too, loved making, you know, that
thematic units and things likethat.
(38:35):
So love putting manualstogether.
So that's uh uh one of myfavorite things to do.
So, what books do you recommend?
SPEAKER_01 (38:43):
We know with Angela
Craig, one some of the books we
recommend is What is Light Body, which was channeled by Archangel
Ariel, and it talks aboutsetting sacred space and
different things.
It is definitely one of myrecommendations.
I also love the book, uh, TheComplete Ascension Manual by
(39:04):
Joshua David Stone.
It's an older version, but ittalks about ascension because
Angelic Reiki is all aboutascension.
And so helping people understandKevin Korr was the creator of
Angelic Reiki, and it just ispart of where he went with his
education, his resources, andwhat he taught.
(39:28):
You know, there's lots of thingsout there on Reiki and energy
healing.
I love Cindy Dale, I loveBarbara Brennan and their books
on the etheric bodies andunderstanding energy and chakras
and all those systems.
So those are always some thatI'm going to reach for when I'm
working for things, but thoseare probably my top books.
(39:52):
Beautiful.
SPEAKER_00 (39:53):
And you've published
several yourself, correct?
SPEAKER_01 (39:56):
I have for my
classes.
You know, I write a lot of booksfor my classes, and I think I'm
up to 60 some books for myclasses.
I do have uh a book in my in myfuture that'll be more of a
published book for the public,um, that I would like to write
eventually because of my mysteryschool and those teachings,
(40:19):
those books are two to threehundred pages a piece.
And just priesthood alone islike 12 books.
So it keeps me pretty busy.
SPEAKER_00 (40:29):
Beautiful.
So, what classes do you offer?
Events, trainings, you know, Iwas checking out all your
things.
I mean, you have several thingsgoing on a month.
I mean, you're all the waylisted, you are on your game,
you're listing things all theway into 2026.
I was like, wow, this isamazing.
It's crazy.
SPEAKER_01 (40:50):
But with my mystery
school, I always have four
classes or four tracks going ata time each month.
So to have those scheduled out, because those are year and a
half or year programs, I have tohave them listed so the students
kind of know where they go.
But when we look at programs, Ijust recently moved all my
(41:11):
systems onto one platform.
So now I have four websites.
I don't have one, I have four.
And the reason that I createdfour websites is people that are
looking for in-person educationin Denver.
We have a whole community thatteaches classes and offers
services, and it's kind of acollective community type
(41:36):
program.
So I have shamans, I have, Ihave psychics, I have
channelers, I have women'scircles.
We we offer 25 to 30 classes amonth there.
And all of that is on ourdiscoveryourspiritualgifts.com
website.
I also have my own website forvioletrain.com, which lists all
(42:00):
my classes, all my online umservices and programs, and also
my podcasts.
So that's for people that arereally looking for just
information on me.
It also gives my bios andbackgrounds and where I've
spoken.
Now I also have my mysteryschool website, and that website
(42:20):
is for people that are seeking ahigher level of education.
Um, and those are in-personclasses, but we're getting ready
to launch that online, whichwould mean that people anywhere
in the world will be able totake it online.
The requirement will be they'llhave to travel in a weekend or
(42:41):
two during the program to do thehands-on stuff, but they'll be
able to take most of it online.
That's what we've been workingtowards for several years, and
we're getting really close tolaunching that online.
So you can go and look at thatwebsite, it has a lot of
information.
And then if you live otherplaces, we have an online
(43:05):
academy website, which is all ofour online programs that you
take at your own pace that youcan take and do.
And so, depending on what you'reinterested in, what you're
looking for, and then ourfooters at the bottom of the
website will guide you to theothers so you can bounce back
and forth.
But I teach archangel classes, psychic development, channeling,
(43:29):
mystery school, play shops, broom making, candle making.
I mean, the list goes on and onand on and on.
SPEAKER_00 (43:38):
I love it.
It just it's a variety of somany wonderful things, isn't it
wonderful?
That's I think why I resonatewith you so much because it's
exactly like how what I do, justkeeping it creative, you know,
and original.
And you know, and you don'tgatekeep either.
That's what's wonderful.
You're bringing in all theseother individuals to share their
(43:59):
talent as well.
So yeah, and I love that.
SPEAKER_01 (44:02):
I think you know, we
all resonate with different
people.
So having different people thatare doing different things is
important to me, right?
Beautiful.
SPEAKER_00 (44:14):
So, where can we
find you if we want to get in
touch?
SPEAKER_01 (44:17):
Yeah, you know what
I would say is uh
www.discoveryourspiritualgiftsplural.com or
violetrain.com, and then you cannavigate from the footers to
wherever you want to go.
There's lots of free stuff.
We offer lots of articles.
(44:39):
Um, I have blogs on most ofthose websites and uh
newsletters.
You can sign up for ournewsletters.
Um, I write a lot of articles,so I think right now I'm writing
10 to 12 a month.
SPEAKER_00 (44:53):
Beautiful.
Like that's what I mean, like amachine.
I love it, I love it.
Well, that ends the first partof our journey.
I'm gonna guide you into thenext part, which are questions
from listeners and Reikistudents.
So, number one, what inspiredyou to create and establish the
Sacred Temple Mystery School in2011?
SPEAKER_01 (45:18):
Um, well, actually
before that, 2009, I had been
working as a senior HR executiveum in Florida and my job got
eliminated.
But prior to that, I had said aprayer to the heavens because I
had done all this work and hadworked really hard to create a
(45:41):
lot of these things, but Iwasn't happy.
I didn't have joy in my life, and I asked for joy, and I also
said, if that means you takeeverything I got, then take it
all.
And so the divine did.
It took everything I had, ittook my house, took my jewelry,
took every material thingpractically that I owned, and I
(46:04):
walked uh journey of the darknight of the soul for about four
years because I kept trying togo back to what I knew.
And spirit's like, nope, youasked for this.
This is where you're going.
And when I came to Colorado in2011, I was really searching for
something more.
(46:25):
I had taken Reiki, I'd had thoseclasses, I had taken Akashic,
I'd learned that.
I understood pendulums and allthe things, but I wanted to know
more.
I wanted to understand more.
And at the time I'd kind of hitrock bottom, and I just happened
upon somebody here in Coloradothat had a mystery school, and
(46:48):
it changed my life forever.
It gave me a new perspective, anew direction.
It filled that hole ofsacredness.
And when we went through thatschool, Tracy, our teacher told
us, you are not worthy to teachthese programs.
You cannot teach this.
(47:09):
Just like many people have intheir life that they have a
teacher.
And I kind of got pushed out atthe time when I was really sick.
I was dealing with lots ofhealth issues, and because I
wasn't fully engaged, theypushed me out of the community,
which was another thing.
And at the time I was datingthis wonderful man that became
(47:31):
my husband, and he's like, Youneed to teach this.
And I'm like, Nope, I was told,I'm not worthy.
I can't teach this.
And he goes, Math two plus twoequals four.
It's a basic foundation, nobodyowns it.
And I said, But I'm not worthy,I'm not allowed to teach it.
And I honor people in theirwork.
(47:53):
Now, my teacher gave us a fewsheets of paper, like most
spiritual teachers.
I got little handouts, and Idecided that spirit kept pushing
and pushing, and students keptasking for these teachings, and
they kept asking to understand.
And so I took the pieces that Ihad learned along with lots of
(48:19):
other pieces that I had gatheredalong my path, a lot of other
understandings, and with thespirit guides that I had, I
built sacred temple mysteryschools.
So a lot of people will ask, what is the legacy?
Where did it come from?
Well, all mystery schools camefrom King Solomon, they all came
(48:41):
from there.
That's where all the teachingscame from, or you could say
Lemuria or Atlantis.
They could you could also goback to there.
Most of it was uh verbal, thingswould be handed down verbally,
just like we know for centuries.
We've handed teachings, Asuihanded down verbally.
(49:01):
Uh, Katata didn't write anythingdown.
She she taught it, andafterwards, people said, Oh, we
need to write some of this downbecause historically we lose
stuff, right?
So this stuff's been handed downfrom generation to generation,
hidden from the planet, but it'sthere, it's basically in
everything, just like ourreligious beliefs.
(49:24):
If you see the dots that connectacross different beliefs, you
can see how things connect.
Energy healing.
If you dive into lots ofdifferent modalities, you'll see
foundation and connection withall of it.
It's not any different, but itreally, it really is passion for
(49:45):
me, it's important to me.
Um, and I've watched people growand evolve and change and expand
and their lives be totallydifferent from doing those
classes and bringing in thatenergy.
So that's what pushed me to dowhat I do today, and I'm really
(50:06):
very passionate.
You know, 15 years ago, when Iwalked into the mystery school,
that word was not out there verymuch.
You didn't hear somebody talkabout mystery schools today,
they're popping up everywhere,everywhere.
And I would say the one thing Iwould say to people about
(50:27):
mystery schools is a mysteryschool can charge you anywhere
from a low price all the way upto$30,000 a year to attend.
Use your discernment.
Use your discernment.
There's a lot of really greatmystery schools that are not
gonna break your bank, thatyou're not gonna have to go out
(50:47):
and take a loan against yourhouse, that you're not gonna
have to pull money out of your401k.
Really use discernment in whatyou're doing.
I think sometimes we pricethings really out of that a lot
of people don't have access.
And I think we're in a timewhere people need these
(51:10):
teachings, need Reiki, need tobe on a spiritual path, and it
shouldn't put them in thepoorhouse to find it.
But that's that's a personalopinion that I have.
SPEAKER_00 (51:24):
Well, thank you for
sharing your story.
And if anybody hasn't told you,you are worthy.
Thank you.
I appreciate that.
Now, do you work anywhere else,or is this just everything that
you do now?
That's just your focus.
SPEAKER_01 (51:40):
You know, that's
what I do.
That's my focus.
I don't have any other uh jobs.
Sometimes I'll do a fair or anevent with somebody else or be
on somebody else's podcast, butthis is what I do full time, and
so um it's kind of like mypre-retirement passion project.
SPEAKER_00 (52:00):
Right.
Yeah, because you may know assome students, their dream, you
know, is doing what you'redoing, what I'm doing, right?
To just solely do this fulltime.
And a lot are very nervous tokind of take that leap away from
that consistent paycheck, youknow, into the unknown.
So, how long, like you've saidthis, you know, 15 years ago you
(52:20):
connected into the school.
Was it something that youcontinue to work with, or you
just knew the calling, yourspirit guides were there, you
knew this was your work, andjust left behind everything to
move forward with this?
SPEAKER_01 (52:32):
You know, that's a
great question.
You know, in um 2015, I wasgetting married.
My husband um is a rocketscientist, so one of those
scientists, he's on the scienceside.
I'm on the fluffy side.
Um, and so he says, You workreally too hard.
(52:53):
If you could do anything, whatwould you do?
And I was in a place because atthe time when we got together, I
was working what I call fourmuggle jobs.
I was a college professor atthree schools, and I was an HR
manager executive, so I wasworking all of those jobs.
And he said, if you could doanything, what would you do?
(53:14):
And I said, This is what I woulddo, this would be what I would
want to offer.
And that's I got lucky enough todo that because he takes care of
everything else, and this justgives me an opportunity to do
something that I love and that Ican really step into and be
(53:35):
into, so it has allowed me tohave this dream.
Um, and I have to be honest, Iwork really hard at it, and I'm
sure Tracy does too.
So when you step into thesetypes of things, it takes all
you got to keep it going.
(53:55):
It's not an easy process to do,and you got to have a solid
foundation sometimes before youtry it.
But what I would tell you in theworld today is the world is
changing, and a lot of peoplehave opportunities to work
part-time in their careers, towork part-time in their
(54:17):
professions so that they can dothis on the side and build their
tribe, their clientele and theirbusiness so that they can step
out of that world into thisworld.
That's kind of the best way todo it is to be able to find that
opportunity where you can workthree or four days
professionally to have the moneycoming in that you need, and
(54:42):
then spend and commit to twofull days or three full days
doing this to build it.
And that's the way that I see alot of people are able to
transition over and do that sortof thing because you don't build
clientele overnight.
Uh, if you quit your job andexpect that you're gonna hang a
(55:04):
shingle and everybody's gonnashow up uh tomorrow, it doesn't
work that way.
And so it's a way to transitionfrom one to the other, right?
SPEAKER_00 (55:16):
I mean, I couldn't
do this work without my
husband's support, but mysituation was a little
different.
I moved from Pennsylvania to ElPaso and starting over, right?
And so you start from scratch, but one of the things I did was
get contracts, go to thewellness centers, go to those
(55:36):
places to get that steadycontract, and then that way that
helped, and then it helped menetwork and build people so you
still had that certain amount ofmoney coming in every month as
you began to build your clients.
So that's great advice.
Uh, number two, what is fairyreiki and how has it helped you
in your healing practice?
(55:57):
You know, my daughter, mydaughter's like, don't work with
fairies.
SPEAKER_01 (56:04):
Fairies are
beautiful and playful.
They are, they can beopinionated if you're not taking
care of the planet and earth andand doing the right things.
And they have a right to dothat.
We should be honoring thisplanet, this beautiful space
that we live in.
But here's the thing fairies arevery playful, they're they're
(56:26):
very fun energy to work with.
And when I I do fairy Reiki, where it really is super
helpful, is when you're doinginner child work, when you're
doing wounds and trauma that arereally deep, because a lot of
us, when we have that deeptrauma and wounds, we don't
(56:46):
really want to go back andrevisit that.
We don't really want to takethat on.
It takes a lot of courage tosay, okay, I have this really
deep trauma and wound, and nowI'm ready to work on it.
Most people aren't going to dothat.
So the fairies are a beautifulway because they come in in such
(57:07):
a beautiful way to help you workand release some of that tight,
tight wounds and pains thatwe've stored in our body so that
we can release it.
And they take you on this reallymagical journey when you do
fairy Reiki.
So you get these beautifulimages.
(57:27):
They love to show you theirshoes, they have really cute,
cute shoes.
But I have fairy houses at thecenter, I have fairy houses in
my house.
The fairies live here, andthere's something to that saying
in Peter Pan.
I do believe in fairies becauseif you believe in them and they
(57:48):
trust you, you will see them.
They even show up in photos, sothey are very, very, very, very
real.
And so fairy Reiki is a greatway, it's a great tool to have
for people that are hanging onto something that's really
painful or hard because they canhelp you let it go.
Now, here's the other thing (58:09):
the
fairy Reiki symbols are so cute.
Um, they have their own Reikisymbols as well.
So you get to call in the fairyReiki through those symbols.
So when we do a fairy Reikiclass, we make fairy dust and um
(58:29):
we learn about the fairies, welearn how to call them in, we
learn how to connect with them.
It's a really beautiful way todo healing.
So uh we offer that class onlineand in person.
So you can actually get a tuneand take that class online from
me at your own pace and workthrough it.
(58:52):
And we also teach it here inDenver.
So thanks for asking.
SPEAKER_00 (58:56):
Beautiful.
Is that like a level one, two,and masters?
Now, the corona I studied wasjust the masters.
So, how does that work withFairy Reiki?
SPEAKER_01 (59:05):
It's only a level
one, it's not really kind of a
master level if you want toteach it.
We talk about how you can getthe books and you can teach it
on your own after you take it.
So it's not like yourtraditional Reiki or Reiki with
a violet flame that has multiplelevels.
There's only one level, you'rejust getting attuned to that
energy so you can add it to yourtoolbox and have an additional
(59:30):
type of Reiki for you to be ableto utilize.
SPEAKER_00 (59:33):
All right,
beautiful.
Number three, how can workingwith your Akashic Records, as
you being an Akashic Recordmaster, help you find your
purpose?
SPEAKER_01 (59:43):
So all of us have a
purpose.
Um, all of us have a genuinepurpose and why we came.
And it's not a purpose, like mypurpose was to come here and
build a house.
My purpose might be that Ican't.
Came here to be a mother.
My purpose might be that I camehere to be a healer.
(01:00:05):
My purpose might be that I camehere to be a teacher.
The Akashic Records is calledthe Hall of Wisdom.
It is what you call your book oflife in the Bible.
So everything you've everthought, everything you've ever
felt is written in your AkashicRecords, which is very etheric.
(01:00:26):
It also holds all of yourcontracts.
So before you were born, youwent before your general counsel
and you requested to have aphysical experience in this
lifetime, and you selected allthe things that you wanted to
experience, including therelationships that you have in
(01:00:46):
your life.
And so the Akashic Records holdsyour blueprint, your blueprint
of what your challenges aregoing to be and what your gifts
are going to be.
I think of the Akashic Recordsholds information of all
lifetimes.
So I always tell people, thinkabout a video game, because
everybody seems to understand alittle bit of a video game.
(01:01:09):
When you have your firstlifetime, you're at level one in
the video game.
Now, the first time you playthat level, you don't know where
all the bad guys are, you don'tknow where all the golden
nuggets are, you don't knowwhere all the traps are.
And it takes you a while tofigure it out, to work through
that level to get to the end.
Now, as you progress, each levelis a lifetime.
(01:01:32):
And by the time you get to the12th level of the game, you
could go back and do the firstlevel really easy.
You could probably make itthrough in less than an hour
because you know all the things.
What if in your lifetimes thatyou're gaining that wisdom in
your soul and you just knowthings?
(01:01:52):
You don't know why you knowthings, you don't know why you
understand how to fix that sink.
You don't know why youunderstand how to manage people,
you don't know why youunderstand how to change a tire.
Could it be because you've doneit multiple times through
multiple lifetimes, and that'simprinted in your soul?
(01:02:13):
And what I find with purpose ismost people have done similar
things throughout many of theirlifetimes to kind of get to be
the expert or the master.
So, like the doctor, the nurse, the healer, the herbalist, the
holistic, there'll be similarthings through all lifetimes
(01:02:36):
because we go back to what weknow, and we're getting to be
experts at those areas in ourlives, which is really about our
purpose.
Now, you probably know yourpurpose.
What lights you up?
What are you passionate about?
What gives you the most joy?
What would you do for free justto get to do it?
(01:02:59):
What has shown up in your lifeover and over again?
You know, me as a retail person, the first 20 years, every time I
got a job, they put me in the HRarea.
I didn't have to tell them I wasHR, I didn't even say anything
to them.
I always ended up doing thetraining, the education, the
(01:03:21):
hiring.
Why is that?
Because that's my purpose.
That's what I'm really good at.
That's what I came here to dowas teach.
And as a child, I playedteacher, I played shop.
Those are purpose because theydrive us.
But the records can give youclarifications on things of why
(01:03:43):
did that happen to me?
Why, why do I have thatrelationship?
Why, why am I struggling?
Why am I blocked here?
Why do I have this challenge?
It can enlighten you on what'shappening, how to move through
it, what that is for you.
SPEAKER_00 (01:04:01):
Beautiful.
Yes, it made me think back tolike I always knew it was going
to be a teacher.
And then as I got older, I hadworked at an amusement park uh
near Pittsburgh.
And where do they put me?
Fish pond with the kids.
It was always about children.
And then I became manager of thebirthday game.
So everything was always aboutchildren, from like, you know,
(01:04:23):
babysitting and different jobsand that, and working and
teaching.
And so it's kind of interestingas you're saying that it makes
me kind of think backwards inlife of always knew I was going
to be teaching.
So well, that was our lastquestion.
As you've been talking, is theresomething that you have
forgotten about?
Something you want to share withthe listeners?
(01:04:45):
The floor is yours.
Oh, well, thank you for that.
SPEAKER_01 (01:04:48):
If I can say
anything, please remember that
you are sacred, that you aredivine.
Your life may not show that, youmay not feel that at times, but
you are a sacred, divine soulthat's having a physical
experience.
And if you can just remember howperfect you are, how beautiful
(01:05:13):
you were created, and whatyou're here to do, then you will
be able to navigate life'sjourney.
Remember, sometimes we need acoach or a mentor to help us.
We need somebody to be a guideor to let us see something that
we can't see ourselves.
If I can leave you withanything, is remember you're
(01:05:34):
divine, you're sacred, andyou're very loved.
You are never alone in thisworld.
You always have lots of supportand lots of love all around you.
Get curious in your life.
Explore, find new things, challenge yourself a little bit
(01:05:55):
and find the joy in life.
You know, everyone is a magicalcreator of their own lives.
If you want joy, startexperiencing joy, start thinking
about what joy is, start makingthat a priority in your life,
and you will build even more joyin your life long term.
