(00:00):
OK, I feel like we should just jump into it because we
literally just watched it live. Like, yeah, for an hour and 45
minutes. Because as everyone knows,
Taylor just announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a
Showgirl, coming out October 3rd.
We know that now, so we can talkabout the album.
But the podcast, I just want to start off with A, it's crazy

(00:21):
she's on a podcast. B It's crazy that she talked for
an hour and 45 minutes and see we got so much information.
Yeah, yeah, we really did. I mean, at the same time, I've
never wanted her to shut up, shut up more.
It was kind of like, it was likethe weirdest like common issue
'cause I was also like hanging on every word she said as but.
Then I was like, you're, you're like interrupting me

(00:42):
interrupting. She's like, Oh my God, that was
crazy. It's like, OK baby, maybe you
should have been on a podcast inthe last 15 years that the art
form existed. Like girl.
Speak on. It speak on it.
Our podcasts are right here waiting for her any day.
No, but I guess it's like she Yeah, she kept interrupting.

(01:04):
She kept saying like, like so much and not OK, now, now wait,
No, wait. OK, I'm not going to.
I'm not complaining and I'm not bitching about a woman
podcasting, but. But on the other hand.
What is it? I just was like, Oh my God, I
don't want to hear about bread anymore.
I just want to hear about this album.
If. She talks about like quarantine

(01:25):
and sourdough one more time. I'm like, bitch, it's five
years. Like, I know it's, you know, but
like, it's like, if I hear aboutlike those weeks of quarantine
one more time, I will blow up mybrains out like.
But I also loved it and I know it was really exciting to like
see her kind of talk about it, the album in like a longer way.

(01:48):
That and also like, you're right, it just felt crazy.
I feel, I feel like I I've just witnessed.
I mean, I guess we did witness history.
She's never done like this type of interview before ever.
And then I'm telling my girlfriend they're like, why?
Why is she talking? Why are her and Travis talking

(02:08):
about themselves so much? I was like, because it's never
happened. She's never done an interview
with a partner, ever. No.
Ever. No.
And like most interactions that we've got and got with her
partners have been. Photos or.
Like we've never had a red carpet appearance.
Like we've seen her obviously thank boyfriends in award

(02:32):
speeches and talk about them on stage and like, obviously we
have all the lyrics and stuff like that.
But like, we've never seen her like flirt real or like, you
know, like kind of just like like a like video of them like
holding hands and like touching each other and stuff like that.
Yeah, right. It's it's like.
Crazy. Yeah, crazy.

(02:54):
It feels so crazy and you're right about the part about her
interview is that it was so crazy because like all her
interviews are like scheduled. Like do you know what I mean?
Like they're like pre. I'm sure all of these questions
are somewhat pre planned but like she was it seeming
seemingly off the cuff for so much of this?
Like I don't even know what to say about that.

(03:15):
No, that's true. There was a good amount of like
I mean, and I guess and to to everyone's credit who made this
happen, tree pain, I suppose. I don't really know, but it was
a good that was a good scenario for her to put to this interview
too, because she obviously is comfortable with these two
people. You know, these two people
fucking the Kelsey brothers. God, I want to like I can shoot

(03:39):
myself. I had to watch two men.
Podcasting, I've never done enough.
No, I actually do. I listen to one podcast that is
just three men talking, but they're like sweet, like cutie
men, but like, it's like could never be me.
But I one of my notes that I wrote down was Jason, I think is
actually a good podcaster. Yeah, yeah.
Which is like, again, like so shocking that that like, I do

(04:01):
actually feel like they have a place in in the entertainment
world. Yeah, it's true, Yeah, for sure.
And I imagine like to give them some kind of credit, like I
imagine when they do actually have other guests on who are not
other sports guys or even when they do that, they do get to
like to know them on a differentlevel when it as opposed to when
you probably put a sports guy ona regular Sports Network

(04:23):
interview or whatever. They're like, it's kind of like
what we're saying, like you justget, you just get, you know, oh,
I played a game good, blah, blah, blah.
And you get Taylor Swift going like I wrote a new album.
Hope you like it, Spotify listeners, You're my favorite.
You're like, I don't this is recorded.
And then this was a more like wegot to know more.
I don't know. It was like it was great.

(04:44):
Like he kept just being like, no, what was your favorite part?
No, what was your favorite part? And I'm just like.
No, yeah, I guess like it was the micro moments.
I feel like that we're interesting to me.
Not even really like the the things that they were like
talking about, but I did like how they confirmed like I feel
like when they first got together we talked a lot about

(05:05):
we were like, well, it actually kind of makes sense for them to
date because they're like top oftheir game.
What they do is very similar in terms of like entertainment and
sports and like the discipline and like athleticism and stuff
like that. But obviously we never like
they've never said that. And so when they said that, I
was like, oh, cool, like. Thank you so much for listening.
