Season 1, Episode 7: Guest Joe Mangano

Development Director of The Flower City Arts Center, Rochester, NY, Joe is deeply committed to the idea of “art for all.” He is a poet, musician, and visual artist. Joe has worked as a music producer and a teaching artist. In those capacities, he has nurtured students of many ages in the areas of music production, vocal performance, musical theater, spoken word and slam poetry, and other artistic endeavors. Joe’s work as an educator and artist focuses on social justice, political activism, personal transformation, financial literacy, social consciousness, and healing. He holds a BA in Psychology from SUNY Empire State College. His passion for the natural world leads him to wilderness survival excursions, mountaineering, meteorology, and storm chasing.
