The two most important skills in a real estate investing business are how to find the deals and how to find the money. Here, I'm interviewing a good friend of mine, Bill Allen. He’s a retired Navy pilot, a real estate investor, a serial entrepreneur, a husband, and father to three awesome boys. I talk a lot about digging your well before you're thirsty and why raising private money is so important. You might have a lot of money, but once you start doing enough deals, that capital is going to be deployed. Private money from other investors allows you to do more deals and scale your business.
