Kim's father appeared as a successful businessman to the world, but behind closed doors, he was an alcoholic who inflicted verbal and emotional abuse upon his family. Silence shrouded their suffering, allowing the abuse to persist year after agonizing year. However, amidst the darkness, Kim found solace in the presence of a horse her father gifted her. Those moments became her only refuge, where she felt safe and comforted, pouring out her heart as her horse grazed in the pasture.
Twenty years later, Kim stumbled upon a book detailing an organization that rescued horses, pairing them with abused children for mutual healing. The impact was profound, stirring the depths of her soul. Tears streamed down her face as she recalled the transformative effect it had on her own life. In that moment, she felt a divine calling. God was inviting her to embark on a journey of faith to establish her own healing ministry with horses for abused children. The stories that have followed are nothing short of miraculous, each one a testament to the power of God’s healing and redemption.
