Trigger warning: Suicide Jamie Lee Silver discovered EFT tapping shortly before her beloved son Ben, who battled late-onset schizophrenia, tragically took his life at the age of 22 in 2015. To Jamie, grieving her son felt like standing at the top of a vortex that she could very easily fall down and never emerge from. Motivated by her grief and determined to find purpose in the pain, she embarked on a mission to turn her tragedy into a source of healing and inspiration. Through her own experiences and utilizing techniques like Tapping, Jamie found solace and rediscovered joy amidst her profound loss. Now she helps others find their joy after loss. In addition to her coaching work, Jamie and Ben co-authored their book, Our Forever Ben: One Mom’s Letters to Her Son in Spirit and His Poetic Replies, based on her correspondence with Ben through automatic writing.
