Husbands Love Your Wives As Christ Loved The Church - "Get Connected"

I find to often that husbands fail to date their wives after marriage. Why? Love her as Christ loved the Church. Take time to actually write your wife a love letter, encourage her, love her. I am no expert on relationships, but I do understand my position in Christ and He in me. Get Connected, Stay Connected.

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Husbands Love Your Wives As Christ Loved The Church

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Confession and Self-Examination

Desire - “Maximum you give will determine the minimum you get back!”

Scripture:

Psalms 139:23-24 Search me, God, and know my heart;

test me and know my anxious thoughts.24 See if there is any offensive way in me,

and lead me in the way everlasting.

Seek Gods’ grace to change

Replace sinful habits with healthy ones

Keep company with Jesus as he helps you with how much or how little you change.

Gain insight into your temptations and Gods work in your life.

Being transformed into Christlikeness

Having compassion for others in their faults

Seeing yourself as Gods’ loved and forgiven child no matter what you have done.

Living in thankfulness for Gods’ work in your life

Savoring the gift of salvation
