Nelson's grandfather committed a violent crime, and his family faced judgment and prejudice as a result. Additionally, his stepfather was abusive, and Nelson took on the role of helping to care for his younger siblings.

Despite these hardships, and challenges, Nelson rose above his circumstances and achieved incredible success as a businessman and entrepreneur.
